DECEIVE INC. to neutralise the competition on Linux

DECEIVE INC. multiplayer spy game to hit the Linux Steam Deck via Windows PC. Thanks to further details from the Sweet Bandits Studios. Due to work it's way onto Steam. Developer Sweet Bandits Studios announced just announced closed alpha. Which is now live for the highly anticipated upcoming stealth action multiplayer espionage title, DECEIVE INC.. The closed alpha was running on Windows PC via Steam. The developers also released a new developer diary, which shows off the team at Sweet Bandits Studios and how they are shaping DECEIVE INC. Due to creating a vibrant multiplayer sneak ‘em up filled with unique characters and locales.

The game is playable on steam deck, and I can confirm there are no plans at this time for a Linux build.

We also have a developer comment in a Forum post. This outlines decent news about DECEIVE INC. working on the Steam Deck. While this is not a massive win, we do have some support for the Unreal Engine 4 game. A little bit of background about the developer diary. Sweet Bandits Studios started out small, with just the two studio heads working out of a home office. While growing as more core members join the team. Meet Blaze, my new Insider OC! She's working for C.O.G.S., Inc. by gathering intel on the Toons. Her assignment is supposed to last for 3 years, and during this time she's supposed to play the role of a reformed Cog 24/7 even when nobody's looking just in case somebody actually is. This means all reporting must be done at the end of the 3 year period and no contact with C.O.G.S., Inc. is permitted during this time except to play the role of reformed Cog.

He was surprisingly easily able to deceive the Toons into thinking he was reformed, and he found that many of them were eager to form friendships. He also noticed a Toon named Lucky Felix had very obviously caught romantic feelings for him, so he pretended to feel the same way since she had a lot of ties to Resistance Rangers and he wanted to get her to talk.

Sometimes they wonder if they're a monster for not feeling any guilt for deceiving so many Toons, but those thoughts don't last long because they just shrug it off. They've also found that pretending to care about Toons feels like playing a stealth game every waking moment of their life... and it's exhilarating!
