these four basically represented how dean winchester was perceived by others. there's the people who love him; charlie (platonic), sam (familial), and cas (romantic). then there's rowena who, at the time, was the stand-in for their "enemies" (hatred).

My trans masc Dean headcanon is that when Cas brought Dean back from hell and reformed him, he tried to make it the same but slightly better where he could, like fixing his liver etc but also he just sorta cis-ified Dean’s body, and so at some point Dean is just like “dude wtf you gave me a dick?” and Cas is like “uh, yes? You are a boy, isn’t that what boys normally have? I’m not sure why you didn’t have a penis before but your soul was a boy so it seemed like something I could fix for you. Did you not want one??? ” And Dean starts crying cause Cas told him his soul is a boy and Cas is now even more confused. This is also like 2 episodes after they meet and so Cas has like no idea why this is such a huge deal to Dean cause Cas is used to being able to just be in whatever body he can get into and just won’t stay in it if it feels wrong. Sam definitely doesn’t find out that Dean has a dick until like season 10 and is offended that no one thought to mention it. “I thought your top surgery scars just went away from Cas healing you so many times dude, I dunno. But he gave you a dick too??”

Instead of shanking it up with Anna, Dean decided to do something about the raging hard crush he has on his lil personal angel and makes a move.

Dean has never been a believer. Never had faith. Never thought there was a God watching over him. Never thought there was anything virtuous in the world they lived.

But then Castiel. Cas. Angel of the Lord, Castiel. Cradled his face and pressed their lips together; Dean was on his knees in prayer, in confession.

Forgive me for never believing.

For all that he found Cas to be absurd and strange and unfamiliar with human customs, Cas knew about love. About making love and making him feel loved.

Cas would moan his name as he pressed into Dean. Would be so gentle, Dean wondered if it was even real. Would be fast and rough enough to ground Dean into reality.

Cas would hold him and lay kisses on every expanse of skin he found. Every gentle touch Dean was ever denied, Cas would give it to him.

Angel!Dean fic that has been floating in my brain for so long I don't think I want to write it anymore

The story started in the barn where Dean died. He was going into the light but the light was actually an irate Cas. Cas was busy but no one else was coming to pick up Dean cause Dean had a history of not dying and Cas was voluntold to 'go down there and for the love of Jack, bring Dean Winchester to heaven.'

So Dean got to heaven and within a week, he found the edge of it. Because Dean died too early and Jack hadn't finished rebuilding heaven so he was sulking and not talking to Dean.

Dean offered to help because he was bored so Jack made him into an angel out of spite.

Dean finally got a look at Cas' angelic form, the one with the rings and eyes; and realised there was really a crack in Cas' chassis. A crack that fit perfectly into his own angelic form's notch. He didn't know whether that was Jack's idea of a joke but he liked being in his angelic form and just fit into Cas' like that.

But then Sam, the idiot tried to bring Dean back to life. Dean wanted to see him again but Jack told him that as an angel, he can't meddle anymore.

Sam almost died but Eileen saved him. It did killed their relationship however. Sam was reckless and Dean knew it was just a matter of time before he did something stupid.

Dean offered to pick up Sam's soul the next time he almost died. He told Sam that he chose to stay in Heaven, to build a place for Sam to rest, to stay with Cas. And Sam needed to stop dying because heaven was only seventy-five percent done and 'would you like to fall off the edge of heaven, Sam? Because if you die before I finish my job, I'm going to kick you out of heaven.'

Eileen got there in time to save Sam as Rowena contacted her. And Rowena was contacted by Cas. Who had never learned to say no when Dean asked for something nicely.

When Dean returned to heaven, Jack basically punished him by doubling his duty. He was so busy patching up heaven, he didn't even get to spend time with Cas, which was the real punishment.

When Sam finally died, heaven was ready for him.

And Dean was the light he walked towards.

Some people don't even know the queer rep that exists in America! So many people in the BL community! When people mention queer shows they only mention a couple names from forever ago, specifically queer as folk and L word. Every once in a while someone will mention Glee and Shameless. But like there are so many more! Legends of Tomorrow, Legacies, Supergirl (yes there is more than just Supercorp on it), The Originals, hell Pretty Little Liars and Gossip Girl Reboot too fit this category! Like there are so many queer characters. Shows like Legends of Tomorrow and Legacies entire cast is queer! That's like 7-ish queers in a single team! There are many more!

And I know someone will say 'It's sanitized'. Actually, it's not! It's given the same freedom a cishet ship would on network TV. (Not that there is anything wrong with not having NC scenes. To each their own.)
