This reads to me a lot as something he orchestrated, something he thought up to look cool, but what's the point of saying all this shit when you say afterwards you're just going to say that she's controlling none of it and really it's just you (which really, in the end it wasn't). Jane points out a pretty good point about there not being a true LEADER leader, and Dirk just plows on. He proceeds to have a long and eyeroll worthy emphasis about how much he can serve, how good he is at it, how Jane only has to call and he'll come to the rescue, not to worry at ALL. I mean i have to laugh. Here he is emphasising how much he can serve and he can't. He can't at all. Pushing someone in a direction does not always equal helping. His suggestions are befitting his aspect sure, but doesn't always mean it's the right solution!

Bestie I was literally JUST thinking about starting dirk gently, is it good?

oh my gosh it is one of the best shows of all time in my opinion and absolutely my favourite tv show. i think by the end of the pilot you will know if it’s for you or not, so my best advice would be to go sit down and watch the first episode (and let it blow your mind). but in case you need more convincing i am absolutely here to help

PROS of watching dirk gently:

it’s literally about found family, by which i mean it is about the holistic interconnectedness of the universe and how even independent actions contribute to a greater whole and how people are stronger together than apart, but by which i ALSO mean

there is a found family detective agency and they are all very cool while all being kind of dorky losers to varying degrees and i promise you will love them all

there is also a found family group of punk energy vampires (much cooler than colin robinson i’m so sorry colin robinson) and their plotline revolves around learning to embrace chronic pain and also when i say found family i mean that this is the group i think of every time i think of found family. and osric chau is there and he does wear a flower crown and i promise it is amazing

the show in general takes very silly ideas and makes them beautifully profound and poignant (not a surprise since it’s based on douglas adams books) and as a result, you end up with these absolutely ridiculous plots that could not work anywhere outside of dirk gently’s universe but that are just. Perfect. like they manage to seamlessly join a secret government training program of superpowered assassins with an actual gay fairy tale plotline set in fairy tale land and at no point as a viewer does it ever feel like ‘actually this is too much’

the mysteries are actually good and fleshed out and fun to solve (very rare for tv lmfao)

there are so many memorable and hilarious and great characters, even the villains of the show will cement themselves in your heart (which will make their villainy undoubtedly more tragic). get ready to feel emotions nobody has ever felt before about ted from schitts creek

there is canon lgbt rep in case u care abt that sort of thing ^_^

bart curlish is there. fiona dourif plays a ‘homicidal dirt muppet’ (quote from the show), an assassin who kills just about everyone in her path. i love her and i WILL NOT REST until everyone in the world loves her as much as i love her. there are so many great bart scenes i can’t even begin to list them but i don’t want to spoil you just get to watching

CONS

the show is only 2 seasons (netflix elle and i are outside your house with metal bats and our precious dvds of your 2-season-wonders and we are going to attack you) and while the second season is beautiful television it does leave the viewer desperately wanting more. the shows creators who aren’t the devil have said that they would be open to making more but at this point it seems doomed to fail. so you have to go into this thing knowing that it is a finished product but also it is, on some level, a wip

and speaking of the show creator who is the devil, the showrunner max landis is a piece of shit, fathered by john landis an even bigger piece of shit. i won’t go into detail about the abuse or murder but you can look it up for yourself if you’d like. i will say that the other creator has decried max as the worthless trash he is, and that his impact isn’t Really felt as dirk gently doesn’t contain any allusions to his abuse and in fact has strong female characters, but it’s something i wish i’d known while i was getting into the show

all that being said . one of my favourite shows of all time and i really hope you end up watching it!!! 🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶

this is probably long so i will kindly put it under a cut!

it's probably not related to what you are asking but the name is also a joke specifically relating to the fact that bro was stabbed with his own sword crossways, lmfao (thus, transversal)

anyway!

basically, i picked Dave (god) for two reasons to start, and then it spiraled from there:

ONE, the last Actual Conversation he had with Bro from his point of view was a kind of fraught, awkward conversation in chapter 12, which was written to reflect the last time Dave remembers Bro treating him like a little kid (which is to say, with kindness) (and then does, in this scene, treat him like a little kid). that's some deep deserts lore bullshit, but there's a, waves hand, scene in katabasis that is being directly referenced here. not terribly important.

BUT u know his last interactions with him were like -> watch him almost die -> go back into time using powers he said he never wanted to use again and talk to Bro in this strange gentle way that was completely alien to him because neither of them know what to do or how to talk to each other -> watch him almost die but from future dave's perspective -> watch jane bring him back to live -> see him again and the first thing out of his mouth is "i'm glad you're not dead again"

Basically, he didn't get to have a conversation on the roof like Dave(sprite) did, and so i needed something, i suppose, that would let him connect with Bro, and Dave already had that, so it was his turn.

TWO: Rose lmfao. I had mad crazy plans early on for Rose and Bro, but it also involved tackling something i consider to be a problem in canon; once Rose started drinking, Dave started to retreat away from her, and he certainly didn't do shit to help. Dave is a coward. That's pretty much canon. He doesn't like confrontation, he's not any good at working out his friends’ problems, and he's selfish. But because he doesn't understand Rose, it leads to conflict, and because he can't talk to anyone else about it, it became easier, in that way, to talk to Bro, who he knew at this point, had at least some kind of past with Mom, who he knew is a (recovering) alcoholic.

This then led to The Sword, and a moment in time where Bro gets to see a peek at Dave, and his shame, and the thing that, at that moment in time, is quite literally weighing on him. if that makes sense???

also got to make a funny joke about bro and dirk a la lancelot vs galahad (arthurian legend jokes, caledfwlch, etc)

I wish I could explain how i tend to write conversations between characters but i guess just like. most of the time i do dialogue first and fill everything in later. this usually lets me kind of make sure we stay on track, or at least meander naturally, and then i can fill in what's going on in between, especially if there is a big pause!

So while it starts about Rose, it ends up involving the sword, and thus, the Nasty Death Scar, as it is so lovingly called in my household.

Part of the reason i would not think Dave(sprite) suitable for this is that while he is Dave, and is morbid, his current preoccupation with playing a hand in Bro's death would probably do nothing more than make him feel worse. also he's got his own scar, bro ain't special.

And also Dave, at this point specifically, still has all his crazy unresolved feelings relating to the sword, the fact that Bro doesn't seem bothered too badly by his own death (though we find out later this is not true) and he just. Is gross. LOL i love him but Dave is gross.

I think by seeing Bro's scar, he can kind of like. confirm in a weird way that the event Actually Happened, and that it's over, and that Bro is here, and is alive. That there isn't just a huge fucking hole punched through his abdomen and that Dave isn't insane?? you know??

and then of course at the end we see Bro offer a little piece of himself that Dave has never known, although rng is intentionally littered with these, one of my big things with the Strangeness between bro and the daves is that they don't Really Know him as a person. they know bro as BRO the guardian, BRO the person who "trained" (yikes) them, but they don't know anything else about him. This is common with kids as they grow up, as we learn that our parents used to be kids, too. So that one little nametag, handed over begrudgingly, maybe a little embarrassingly, is Bro giving Dave a little piece of himself at that age, something that at this point, this Dave needs desperately. He's already jealous of DS, though it'll take him time to realize it, and so it was important for him to have this conversation with Bro, and to see him as human.

I actually forgot her name but i know it started with an M. (Meiran? I couldnt tell u) i made her when I was like... 13/14 and she kind of got lost to time when I busted my first laptop/deleted my first blog lol. 

She was a purpleblood clown with a HUGE castle hive by the sea w a super big library and was kind of naive/sheltered? Super nice, super tall. She had this long bright pink cape (that was like, a gift i got from my aunt around that time actually) nd her facepaint looked like 2 lil feathers on the side of her face? I was also into BVB at the time and was kind of mimicking their lead singers facepaint lol. Her horns were kind of jagged in a neat way, i should draw her again at some point.

I used to use her on Trollplay (remember that shit? Wild) a LOT and met a bunch of ppl thru her... I remember an Eridan she hung out w once and it was super fun but idr if I ever ended up contacting them outside of Trollplay? I am not going to send it to my literary journal and I did not even hand it in for the class I wrote it for (the next essay I wrote was passable enough to submit) but I think it is kind of funny so I am going to share it with you

           Draft number four of this FUCKING essay because I can’t FUCKING write. I just through out the last three because they sucked and excuse my language but I’m so frustrated at myself and I typed the wrong homophone in the last sentence and I went back and changed it but then I changed it back so you understand where I’m at right now because I NEVER!! MAKE!! SPELLING MISTAKES!! I was on the editorial staff of my high school newspaper for two years and that shit was flawless! I was editor in chief and that shit was free of god damn error! I do not make! Spelling mistakes!

           I’m so frustrated because part of me just wants to write about a motherfucking TV show and the rest of me is like, “No, Thomas, that’s so fucking stupid, write about something that’s serious, something people can take seriously, something people can respect, but NOT something boring” and I’m like OK!! WELL!! THAT’S A TALL ORDER YOU’VE GIVEN YOURSELF TOMMY BOY!!

           I’ve been trying to copy the style of the essays we’ve been reading in the last three drafts I just started and abandoned. I wrote…lets see…(I will be keeping all future grammar and spelling errors that I make) over 1300 words that way so far today. Fuck it!! I am going to be writing like ME and what I write like is a protagonist from a really sub-par young adult novel. I read a lot of those! But I was already like that before I read all those books. Actually most of the ones I read are pretty great. Holly Black, David Levithan, uh those Girl, 15, Charming but Insane books I forget who writes them but if I look it up I have to stop my timer and that is just not happening—check em out, they’re great. Oh, Eoin Colfer, too. I have his autograph! I actually also have David’s.

           I made a list of all the things I could write this essay about. I didn’t want to write about being queer again because I don’t want you people to pigeonhole me. There’s like 50 items on that list. I’ll spare you. The list sucks. I texted my best friend “What should I write this essay about” and she said “Roman Catholicism” and I was like “Maybe” and she was like “Vampires” and I was like “LMFAO you will never believe what I wrote last time spoiler it was vampires.”

           I have ADHD. Sometimes this surprises people! Sometimes it does not! Usually it doesn’t surprise other people who have ADHD because we go based on our lived experiences instead of stereotypes unlike SOME people. I was diagnosed when I was 17 which is super super late but they literally, and you can look this up, base most criteria off of the symptoms of little white cisgender boys, who are usually hyperactive, and I was inattentive type. My third grade teacher used to slap my desk with a ruler when I spaced out. She never brought up my attention issues to anyone else. I hated her. I still hate her. Curse you, Cathy Sellers!!

           I have chilled out on the caps lock because maybe that was kind of a gimmick. Ok. Well. The ADHD. I actually don’t remember why I brought up ADHD, which is classic ADHD. Oh. I think it was to say that maybe you will be surprised that the inside of my head is this giant mess. Not to be all “welcome to my twisted mind” or that edgy shit. Maybe I’m trying to make an embarrassing essay on purpose. The point is some people think I’m very composed and stuff and the inside of my head has never once been composed. Well, maybe a few times. I miss standardized testing because they don’t really matter and they were fun to focus on and it was fun to fill the bubbles in and they made me feel smart. I am smart. I promise I’m smart. Sometimes people think I’m dumb because I’m a trans man which I don’t understand but I promise I’m smart.

           I just slapped my face to try to get myself to wake up a little bit. I am wiped. That cold that’s been going around is kicking my ass, though not as bad as it’s kicking the ass of other students in this class who I have maybe potentially had to drive to the pharmacy this week.

           I am so obsessed with this show on BBC America right now called Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency. In ADHD circles this is sometimes called a hyperfixation—it’s kind of like the special interests autistic people have, surprise surprise ADHD and autism are both developmental disorders and they have a lot in common. Dirk Gently is all I can think about. It’s a really great show and I loved it last season because it has the actor Samuel Barnett as the lead actor and I swore my fealty to him in like 2014 and then he got a lead on a TV show which is crazy because he never gets big roles like that so I was like NICE!!! Yeah, so last season was sci-fi, and the show is really great and it has this big diverse cast and all the characters are really interesting and the show never leans on stereotype instead of fleshing out a character as a unique person and there were electric crossbows last season that were designed by that Adam Savage dude from Mythbusters. So but this season, THIS SEASON, is SO good because apparently the show is planning on “switching genres” every season but with the same main cast so now they’ve been running around trying to find each other after everyone got separated at the end of last season (spoiler) and now they’re all in Montana and instead of sci-fi it’s FANTASY which is my FAVORITE. There’s another dimension that’s this great high-fantasy nation called Wendimoor and there’s a door between the valley of Inglenook and this one town in Montana for reasons that I refuse to explain, just watch the show. Ok and in Inglenook, there’s—it’s kind of sketchy how it works but there’s this guy named Panto Trost who has pink hair (his whole family has pink hair and it’s unclear if it’s genetic or if they dye it as a tribal marker or something, and when I first saw it I was like, HOLY SHIT, WHY DID I NEVER THINK OF THAT), and he’s the prince of Inglenook, and there’s this guy named Silas Dengdamor, who’s some kind of minor prince in Inglenook somehow, and THEY. ARE. A GAY INTERRACIAL HIGH FANTASY COUPLE. THEY ARE IN LOVE.

           And the guy who plays Silas, Lee Majdoub, he’s really active on Twitter and Tumblr, which is crazy because almost no one is active on Tumblr under their real name and it’s mostly just depressed young adults like me, but Lee fields questions about the show all the time and talks about how it was an honor to play a gay prince and he has so much love for Silas and he put so much work into this character which you can tell because he has an answer ready for everything. Has he ridden that train we saw? Is he gay or bi or what? What are his hobbies? If he lived in our world what would his favorite movie be? His five favorite songs? Does he agree with his family’s stance on the feud? (Oh my god I forgot to MENTION that the Trosts and the Dengdamors are TWO FAMILIES AT WAR, which makes Silas and Panto basically gay Romeo and Juliet, but hopefully they won’t die but Dirk Gently is a “don’t get attached” kind of show.)

           And did I mention he’s respectful??? My favorite answer he’s ever given is when someone asked him what it was like to kiss Chris Russell (the other actor), which is a question every fucking presumed-straight actor gets when they play a gay role, and since there is a 4 inch height difference between them, Lee answered something like, “It was a little weird because Chris is very tall, so I felt a little like Natalie Portman in Thor. Natalie Portman and I both have dark hair so we’re practically twins.” Also he is very handsome. It is important that Lee Majdoub is very handsome. Okay, it’s important to me.

           Wow, glad I got that off my chest. It’s kind of all I ever want to talk about. Two weeks ago, before I could do my actual writing assignment for the day, I had to freewrite about Kevin Spacey for like AN HOUR. What I wrote ended up being kind of unusable for this class thus far, I just haven’t been pleased enough with the way it handled a very sensitive topic to hand it in, but it was about Kevin Spacey and Jeffrey Dahmer and OUT magazine and news media and Anthony Rapp and me.

           I wanted to write about a historical figure for this paper but all the ones I could think of that I have a strong connection to were gay. While I was typing that sentence, I thought of Dorothy Parker. Well, shit. Another day, then.

           I just scrolled back up to the top because I remembered abruptly that this essay doesn’t have a name. It’s called Zoom Zoom now. When my sister is bored while she drives, she says, “Zoom zoom! We’re zooming!” She is 24 and has a master’s degree. This particular catchphrase of hers always comes to mind when I try to describe how my brain works—childish, too fast, bored. Her boyfriend says “Brroom brroom” when he drives. I think he picked it up from her. He calls me Thomathy. Because Thomas can be Tom for short and Tom is like Tim and Tim is short for Timothy. Get it? He says “Thomathy” sounds like a disease. I think he likes me anyway. Even though one time during a heated game of Monopoly I told him I would eat chips at his funeral.

theres a lot of things i like about dirkri and honestly i dont even know where to start lmfao

first of all, and its mostly a funny reason - davekat on crack. like some traces of davekat are still there - the arguing about shit, stoic facade vs emotional mess, all the good stuff, but its also so much more exaggerated it makes it this much more ridiculous. gets even better when you consider them under the lense of swap aus like alphaswitch or tbau, where they land on the meteor together. theyre most likely hunting each other for sports by the year two

second of all, the funney. theyd be so fucking funny together. their smallest arguments would take like twenty pages of non-stop flow of red-orange text to resolve, and not because they came to a consensus but because some third party physically dragged them away from their electronics. it doesnt do any good, since it only gives them both time to think over new arguments to use, and theyre back at it as soon as they get their phones back. like if we had a tournament about which ship would do the most collateral damage to the overall group, i think these two would be Up There. karkat would gauge his eyes out from frustration, because now not only does he have to deal with his piece of shit, know-it-all other self, but now theres also Fucking Dirk thrown into the mix. their home life is absolute insanity, a small jab about the other forgetting to buy sugar once again devolves into a screaming match about the merits and flaws of communism or some other inane shit. and theyre doing it for fun, they enjoy debating with each other, because often times they have vastly different opinions, and comparing their beliefs challenges them intelectually and morally. from the outside perspective theyre one of the most dysfunctional pair in the paradox space, when in fact thats simply how they want their relationship to be, and it makes them better people overall.

third reason is that theyre thematically delicious. dirk is a control freak, micromanaging his and his friends constantly. hes terrified of losing control, but hes also desperate for someone to just tell him what the fuck he should do. dirk doesnt think he should be in control of others, because he believes hes a naturally evil person capable of horrible acts, at the same time he doesnt trust anyone else to get things done but himself. hes a whole collection of contradictions.

kankri desperately needs to be in control as well. hes constantly injecting himself into conversations he has no business being in, trying to find someone thatd listen to what he has to say. hes wants to guide others, but his efforts are flawed, because he doesnt listen to other perspectives - hes got tunnel vision, as he thinks hes the one in the right while everyone else is wrong or ignorant (cringefail seer literally). he doesnt trust anyone else to make decisions for him, and becomes defensive when he thinks others are attempting to coddle him. his ass was definitely culled on beforus.

theyre also both so fucking lonely. dirk conciously tries to put difference between himself and his friends, worrying hell "corrupt" them. kankri tries to connect to his friends, but his behavior alienates him from them to the point of no one except maybe porrim want to have anything to do with him.

my point is, kankri wants to guide people but has to learn to listen to others and reflect on his own flawed opinions. dirk has to learn to trust that people closest to him can get shit done on their own and loosen up, as well as realise hes not evil at the core. them helping each other out - dirk teaching kankri about different perspectives, kankri teaching dirk about letting others do their thing - is something i think about a lot.

also i like to think theyd spar for fun a lot as well. its not really a reason and wholly my own personal headcanon but i wanna mention it as well bc its so funny to me. i like the idea of kankris behaviour being a complete reverse of karkat - where karkat is all bark no bite and doesnt like fighting or violence, kankri puts up a front of the beacon of love and peace and tolerance, but in his free time he gets his rifle and goes shooting at the fucking squirrels or some shit. i think he wouldnt have the same qualms about strifing as karkat. like dirk would try to jokingly jab his finger at kankris side and he would just fucking flip him over his shoulder and onto the table breaking it in half, because he doesnt like being touched unexpectedly and by gods dirk when will you fucking learn. he goes from 0 to 100 real fast. its such a hysterical concept for me.

do you have any tips regarding writing john, jade, dirk, jane, or jake in pesterlogs?

The biggest tip I have for general pesterlog writing is to go find an actual canon pesterlog for whatever character(s) you’re going to write and read it, first. It REALLY helps with settling into the voice. Pesterlogs aren’t just specific quirks, it’s the way each character uses their quirk to change how their sentences flow and the kind of pool of vocabulary they each pull from. They each kinda have a different internet language. I use mspawiki’s links under the character portraits to quickly find conversations when I’m doing this cause it lets you quickly look up pesterlogs by act and characters involved.

other than that, for Dirk you have to remember that Dirk always wants to sound smart and capable and put together but his uncool nerdy side is constantly slipping through the cracks and undermining this goal. Also any time Dirk Strider has An Emotion Of Any Kind in a pesterlog he tries really hard to smooth it over with sarcasm or rambling joking (a lot like Dave but a little more self aware – Dave just lets himself drown in his own bullshit, Dirk is aware that he is about to drown and desperately looking for the ladder out.) And whenever he actually does snap at someone (he does it with Jake and Roxy sometimes off the top of my head – I seem to recall he’s generally more gentle with Jane overall) you can tell he always feels like immediate fried shit about it and even about being angry in the first place and all of his negative emotions are paired with like 18 flavors of guilt.

Jane is fun to write because she has a really nice, pleasant TONE to her pesterlog chat voice but she’s mad about half the time about something and is constantly struggling with like no I have to be cool I am collected and polite and in control versus WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS NERD I’M TALKING TO RIGHT NOW EVEN SAYING/DOING??? She tries so hard to keep a tight lid on everything and the dichotomy between Jane’s actual emotions at any given time and the pleasant way she’s trying to force her expression of them are what make her pesterlogs so funny. Oh and obviously sometimes the bottle overflows and explodes. Also you have to remember Jane outwardly is very sure of her own intelligence and understanding of the world to the point where she often misses very obvious things because she feels she already knows what is going on and takes situations for granted. Something I’d write her as actively Working On post-canon (along with the bottling things up too much stuff.) 

And Jake, I think a lot of people struggle with or are intimidated by writing Jake because of his vocabulary quirk, but when I write Jake I just try to keep in mind who he IS, what persona he’s trying to perform as, because Jake in pesterlogs is always trying to put out whatever persona he thinks is most what the person he’s talking to wants to see. Some flavor of movie hero. What’s fun about Jake’s quirk is that he uses those old timey words/minced oaths in a way that like, makes it seem like he’s adverse to swearing (like, say, equius) but then he’ll just let fly a sentence with both a minced oath AND flagrant fucks or shits or what have you without a single care and it’s like BOY WHAT? lmfao god I love Jake. It REALLY helps to re-read some of his actual writing in canon. One thing I see a lot is that people just assign him British slang which isn’t quite right – if you want a more accurate vocab list to pull from for Jake look up like early 1900s American slang, it’s more the flavor. The other big thing with him is that you actually have to structure his sentences such that like, he doesn’t use punctuation a lot so he has this like long run on rambly tone punctuated with short clipped sentences, it gives him a really specific kind of manic barely controlled tone, which is VERY APPROPRIATE because Jake English is like five seconds from flying apart in every conversation. 

I’ve never written john or jade in a pesterlog so imma not expound on them but I hope this helps a little 💪

Oh man, I don’t know. I know I went to the hospital once but I can’t remember why, but it was more sickness than injury I believe, so that’s out of the question. Oh, and I’m not sure if it counts, but there was a winter I was playing like soccer with my bro inside the house, in the hall, and it’s a tiny ass hall and I was in front of the house door okay, and there’s a radiator next to it okay, and the ball was really small, and instead of kicking it I slipped on it and hit my back half on the door half on the radiator corner and I just... stopped breathing. I believe I could breathe out but not breathe in. I was absolutely terrified. I remember thinking, “this is not how I wanna die”. My brother helped me up and we went to my mom scared shitless and she got scared too but thankfully after a few seconds I could breathe again and I was crying man, that was the scariest shit that’s happened to me.

You might say yes and make things awkward and shit, or you might say no but you might ruin any chances you had. It’s an impossible question, man. This probably sounds silly, I know, I know. That’s just how it is.

Ohhhh yup. Oh man, my first year of high school, I went to study, uhhh... behavioural sciences? It’s the first time I think I got the right word, holy shit. So it’s like, sociology, anthropology, psychology, etc. And guess which class I failed out of everything I had? Behavioural sciences.

Yeah bruh. I don’t really wear it often, but I do have makeup and stuff. Usually if I go out and meet up with people I wear at least pink lipliner, but not much else (especially with this warmth). But I do like putting mascara on too, and I bought a liquid eyeliner a while ago I need to practice with!

I don’t actually know. I know I went to the hospital when I was younger but I don’t know if my dad drove us there or if I went in an ambulance. I really don’t know. And thankfully I never rode an ambulance to be with someone else, although my dad did need one once, but I couldn’t go with, and he ended up being alright anyway, thankfully.

Oh God yeah, I remember I went with my uncle, my bro and my cousin once, but I was absolutely disgusted by the worms so I hung out with my aunt and... I don’t really remember much of what I did, really. I was a smol child, man. But I have never actually fished myself.

Well, I don’t really know. Growing kids isn’t an easy thing, it’s something to be taken seriously and all, so it’s hard to say. I’d like to have more than one though, so they’d have a sibling to spend time with and not feel lonely. Close in age would be better as well, as too much difference can make them become distant, or even cruel to one another (although there’s no guarantee they wouldn’t be even at the same age).

As for their names, well, I want to adopt if I ever get kids, so their names wouldn’t really be up to me. But if whatever reason I had to choose, I’d like for my kids to have gender neutral names. Because if their gender doesn’t match the one they were assigned with at birth, they wouldn’t be as uncomfortable with their name, and people around them could call them a name that doesn’t necessarily go against the gender they actually are but without them having to out themselves. Although they’d still have all the rights to change name if they wanted to. But yeah.

Absolutely. I don’t like generalising, at all. It’s unfair to people. Although I understand the people that are like “white people are like this” “men are like this”, those are absolutely understandable. By that, I mean that’s my own personal thought. I don’t expect everyone to do the same, and everyone has their own reasons to do as they believe.

I was just telling this yesterday to my friend. And I’m p sure I’ve talked about it before but whatever I like mentioning it.

When I was younger I went to the hospital, okay. I stayed various days, and there was this kids room and this nice lady gave me drawings to colour in my room, and told me “Colour them by yourself!”.

Point is, my grandma had come visit me. And I was esthatic. And when we went back to our room, shared a glance, and coloured it together. And it’s not much, but we kept that our little secret, and I had so much fun. It’s one of the best memories I’ll always keep with me. Always.

Oh bruh, that fluctuates a lot. Sometimes I sleep at 3am, sometimes at midnight, sometimes 1 or 2am, but there have been times where I was particularly tired and went to sleep as early as 9 or 10pm. Usually it’s around 2am though.

Bro, yes. I put on music and sing along to it. I love it man!

Irl, it depends? I have like, two friends, my man. Probably Leo - I love and trust him, and can rely on him, and also he lives close to me and has a driving license and a car. Also, if it’s like, health-wise emergency, he did a first aid course and stuff, so he’d also probably be useful. Also he’s just a relaxing presence, and a funny guy. I would, without any hint of doubt, trust Leo with my life.

Although he also works in another city so I wouldn’t be able to catch him during the day during the week, so rip me.
