Just saw the trailer for AdHoc studio's first game and I'm loving it.

The company consists of people who worked at Telltale games so I'm pretty excited for it.

If you liked comics like one star squadron or the first few issues of astro city (2013) then this is probably the game for you.

alright, so the games I'm actually excited about after watching the endless Game Awards trailers.

leading the pack is definitely Witcher 4. unfortunately, it's also a game that's still very far from completion. I don't think even 2026 is realistic. Probably more likely 2027.

But yeah, I'm so excited about being able to play as Ciri instead of Geraldo, the grizzled pussy-hound. I can't wait to have Ciri roam the countryside, slay all manner of strange beasts and just generally have a great time lezzing things up. :)

next on my list is Outer Worlds 2. I really enjoyed the first game, it was a delightful mix of sci-fi adventure dramedy with some of the wackiest humor out there. There were a few things holding it back from greatness, at least for me. The sequel definitely needs some improvements in combat and more memorable companions. Should be releasing next year, probably more towards the latter end.

Solasta 2. At the time when OG Solasta came out, it was the best and most authentic video game implementation of D&D 5th edition ruleset. Obviously, since then, BG3 has released and completely obliterated all competition, but it doesn't mean that Solasta was a bad game. They're looking to step it up with the sequel, and while I don't expect it will come anywhere near BG3 quality, that's also an unnecessary measuring stick to apply to every game. Solasta 2 looks like it will be plenty of fun when it eventually comes out of early access, probably in 2026.

Lastly, the only game that's not a sequel of some sorts, and that's Dispatch. This one is very different, it seems to be mostly narrative dialogue-choice based game, but also it seems to have some strategy game elements. Since it's made by a bunch of Telltale Games veterans, I expect at the very least a strong narrative. Definitely picking this one up whenever it releases next year.

I watched Scott pilgrim last night and when I realised it was Jason playing that stupid little emo Gideon I DIED. My last 2 hours have been spent watching edits of Jason, I printed out photos of him and stuck them on my wall, I watched 1 hours worth of interviews just for him. And in all honesty..the reason I saw the new hunger games was because he was in it.. don’t tell anybody.

Also his hands are really hot. Usually hair on men’s hands make me feel gross, but Jason? I want them is inside me. WOAH WHO SAID THAT??!

I talked to a Boston fan from out of town after the game (we just happened to be chilling in the same waiting area letting the crowd thin out a little) and they said they'd been sitting right by the Boston team's penalty box and had heard some Minnesota fans being real giant assholes about the women on the Boston team. Like, mostly apparently cis het dudes, mostly like...heckling players about their bodies? which is obviously way out of line.

The crowd was much more chill where I was sitting (more middle-of-the-crowd seats), but like...I love joking about the Boston team hightailing it outta there, but I wonder if they were rightly pretty fed up?

My beloved Minerva is here with me—she was to have been my second wife, had fate not intervened rather prematurely. And my son, Rockley, resides here as well. I daresay I’ve them both to thank for the pleasant sort of noise that makes a house feel lived in.

The garden, you’ll find, is rather more expansive in this place than it ever was before. Lady Highmore would be delighted were you to accompany her for a stroll. As for Rockley, well—he keeps himself ever occupied, even in a place meant for rest. Busy as ever, that one.

But do not let that deter you! He’ll be glad to speak with you, I’m sure—though I must offer a gentle warning: he is rather spirited. Minerva insists he takes after me in that regard, though I haven’t the faintest idea what she means by it.

Should you have any questions—of the past, of myself, of the life I once lived—do ask them freely. I shan’t shy away. I’ve little left to guard—no reputation to uphold, no secrets I need to carry.

Leopold’s current setting is a peaceful afterlife, with a bit of bittersweetness (almost like a sort of bubble, except Leopold won't be waking up anytime soon). Feel free to ask about it! As for why Larry isn’t here... the answer will be intentionally vague most of the time. He’s a major source of angst here (and if I may add, the Rochesters in general), and Leopold himself wonders where his son might be—so go ahead and ask about him if you’re curious.

You’re welcome to bring up anything related to Season 4 of Criminal Case (Mysteries of the Past) or things that were implied to happen after S4.
