Okay, that’s a lie. It’s um.. miserable here, actually. I thought I’d like it, find like-minded people. Have my interests actually cared about, learn what I want. You know how Dad always said I’d flourish in college? But.. I just.

I feel like.. I know it would be easier if you were here. I know you’d flourish here, hell probably start a million clubs and stuff. Throw parties.. go to bars…

Yknow rewatching gravity falls makes you realize how batshit insane Ford truly was

1. Lights his face on fire instead of shaving because “it’s faster”

2. Suggests Rudolph should’ve murdered the other reindeer for making fun of him

What's a little thing in life that you love?

Hmm I dunno I love lots of lil things. Like waking up and feeling productive, the rare but special occasions my cats want to cuddle with me and lots of lil beautiful moments in nature. I would go on but then we'd be here all day dsnsnsxjns

What's a language you'd like to speak?

Japanese. I mean I can speak a bit of it but after I stopped going to school I stopped learning Japanese and haven't really kept up with it

I also really wanna learn latin because I just find it so cool and interesting

Happy 10 years to Gravity Falls, one of, if not my favorite show of all time.

One of the reasons I actually got to DND, I wanted to play DnDnmD, the game they play in the show.

so i was thinking about gravity falls (unsurprising) and then also dnd, specifically Stanford’s love of it (or dndnmd, whatever)

but also thinking about how like, it’s really NOT that old of a game? like it drew a lot from tolkien’s works (lotr was published in the 50′s, when the stans were born) and tabletop wargames (which were popular in the 60s) and wasn’t really invented until the early 70s (when Ford was in college).

then I remembered had a teacher in high school that said he played it in college with the original creators while they were developing it and I could just fucking absolutely imagine that could have been the case for Ford and Fidds...

Yeah so WWTD Ford would live through the dndnmd "rad" era im curious as to what he would think of that

I was gonna play and be like “well if he lives that long” but I’ve already gone on a really firm record that neither the Pines nor Fidds is going to die in the summer session.

He’d go through about a 19 stage set of varying emotions. Some of the stages:

Not including it at all

Being tormented by Stan and Fiddleford relentlessly finding ways to bring Probabilitizle into campaigns

Attempt to tolerate it as he plays

“Eriol doesn’t say anything because Probabilitizle is not a being that exists in this realm.” / “You’re not the DM, F-” / “Probabilitizle is not a being that exists in this realm. Eriol questions his friends why they’re talking to an empty room.”

Rage at realizing all the character the edition lost by turning Every Creature into Something Ridiculous.

Passive Aggressive out of character, in character doing every petty thing possible to the heinously rad npcs.

Actually in on the joke and having fun with it surprisingly, with the characters as complete joke characters for laughs.

This stage is where a cool/intense/dramatic moment is ruined by Probabilitizle somehow and now Ford’s character has a flaw where he instantly attacks anybody that says “tubular” “radical” “diggity” and so on.

Really most of the stages are Ford switching back between various degrees of acceptance and rage, and eventually.... it starts right back up again after step 19.
