I love this scene. Matt's really been through the wringer at this point (he nearly died, Karen left him, Mephisto fucked shit up) and, once again, the citizens of Hell's Kitchen come in to help pick him up when he's down.

I loved Nocenti's consistency in showing that Hell's Kitchen cared about Matt just as much as Matt cared about them. I've always found it so unnecessary when writers want to go out of their way to make it seem like Hell's Kitchen doesn't like Daredevil or what he does, especially when he's been around as long as he has.

Seeing what presents my baby sister gets and realising I really drew the short straw by being the firstborn

#Demon Spawn #+Extras #tell me why this three year old got a pet budgie for her birthday? she cant even spell yet #none of my siblings have ever had personal pets i wasnt allowed a hamster when i was 12 and neither was anyone else but the 3 year old??#she got her own heat pool for her birthday as well and a barbie dream house taller than her for Christmas #and what did i get childhood trauma perfectionism a fear of failure and anxiety #my mum always goes over the top with the youngest girl it happened with my middle sister in that 5 year gap before my mum got pregnant again #i didnt even make it 2 before my mum was pregnant so i never really got to reap the rewards of being the youngest #the lil ones get spoiled to hell and they get a mum with a fully developed frontal lobe and chiller parents #being the oldest sucks there are no benefits to it only responsibilities #btw im not mad at my sister or whatever its nice for her that she gets to have these things #but what do you mean i got the shtty childhood parents and i still have to argue to be allowed to bare minimal at 23 when the 3 year old #gets special treatment that the rest of us wouldnt even bother asking for cus we dont have all the things that came before that point #my issue is that the preferential treatment she gets is useless to her. she didnt ask for a barbie dreamhouse and she cant even play with it #because shes too short whe doesnt need her own pool because she cant even swim yet she doesnt need her own tablet she cant read yet #she shouldnt have her own pet when she cant understand what it means to own a living creature #especially when we dont currently have any other pets in the house #my issue is that the spoiling doesnt even make sense for her age she cant enjoy it cus it doesnt make sense yet doesnt mean anything to her #my mum wants to spoil her cus shes her littlest girl but shes had 7 kids before this she knows whats age appropriate and this isnt

so what if i killed myself.

#my moms been having health problems for a few months now so that means that she hasnt gone to the village to help my grandma #and in august since the caretaker(s) have holidays. usually its my mom my aunt and my uncle who take turns taking care of my grandma #but since my moms been having these problems. my aunt and uncle told her that she didnt have to help and that theyd do it #so like two days ago then i find out that my mom is going to the village bc my uncle is staying there. shes not gonna do any heavy lifting #but shes gonna be there in case my grandma needs anything #so i tell her that i wanna go too. and she says 'no. im gonna take a blablacar to go there'#she also said that i cant just go to the village to just see my friends and party. and that i need to help if i wanna go there #SO THEN i tell her that ok. i can go there this weekend and help her as well. SO NOW she tells me that no. i shouldve said so earlier bc no #all the plans are made. and she doesnt have to tell me everything (like the fact that my aunt and uncle didnt count her in august to help)#so like?????? im just supposed to know everything myself???????? like bro. i go to the village ONCE a year. last time i went it was christm #*christmas. and i had a shit time bc i had covid AND i was studying for exams. so like. when else am i supposed to go to the village??????#then she complains that im like. loosing contact w my aunts and uncle but its like. the only time i see them is in the village #BUT YOU WONT LET ME GO????????????? like im truly crying out of desperation at this point bc im gonna be stuck in this shithole place (zgz)#all fucking august long. all bc my mom doesnt think i should go to the village if i dont help. but also she doesnt say WHEN i could help #SO WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO!!!!! im apparently just supposed to know these things #parents who have taught their daughter to be quiet and not be a bother surprised when their child (who is no longer a daughter)#keeps quiet and tries do do as theyre told instead of being proactive. bc thats what they taught her #suicide mention #z xarre

I'm not Christian but my grandmothers were both Catholic and so I have always celebrated Christmas. My Christmas tends to be more outwardly secular because I wasn't even raised in the religion but because I want to keep my grandmother's traditions alive I've added more Catholic/Christian touches over the years.

My Christmas has never had anything to do with Jesus. I honestly don't even know when I finally connected the dots of why some people put out Jesus decorations. It didn't make sense to me for so long!

But this Christmas. While the Christians in the birthplace of the religion, in the birthplace of Jesus, are being subject to eradication at the hands of Israel I think it's more important than ever to celebrate this holiday for them. With them. They are the birthplace of beliefs and traditions that have traveled the world to make it to my home and those traditions deserve to be honored.

The oldest Christians in the world may not survive to see Christmas this year. And that simply cannot be something that happens without a sound.

#i may not believe the same things they do but that doesnt mean i dont see their beauty #i know so much less about Islam and Judaism just due to way less exposure.#but i hope we all are keeping space for the beautiful diverse home of all of them as important days come up #israel is killing them all #anti Israel #anti zionisim #christians #Palestine #christmas #an atheist at Christmas
