Hey everyone. Trying something different. I have a ton of knitted hats that I was to sell quickly, to make him this money for poppy’s surgeries.
This is just a random sampling in the picture.
So I plan on having a random hat flash sale, Poppy (or one of her sisters if she feels too icky) will pick your hat out for you. The hats will sell for $ 30 including shipping. This covers a $20 donation and the price of shipping. I’m thinking of only keeping the sale until midnight EST tonight. I only have 50ish spots right now. You will not know what beanie you get, because only Poppy knows.
Pay through cashapp $mriggs85
Venmo @michelleriggs85
These are the only two I am selling through as of right now, and the tags are the ONLY ONES SELLING. Anything else is a scam.
Send an message with your cashapp or Venmo and I will send you an invoice for you to pay, and then I will collect your address.
i am now remembering why i put down knitting and took up cross stitch & embroidery in grad school (besides my irritation with stitch tension)
THE RSI FLARE UPS
ive cast on for a gauge piece and my hands already hurt. ALOT. wtf.
this doesn’t happen when i embroider because i have a hoop stand and am generally only using my dominant (non rsi) hand. and i have an ergo set up for video games. im either gonna have to teach myself continental (the picking stitch method maybe will put less stress on my left hand?) or im going to have to switch entirely to crochet which, for whatever reason, puts less strain and tension on my hands
I'm still rendering the detail shots and turnaround through the Sheep-it Renderfarm, a free Blender-based render farm where you can help render other people's files. The more you render community files, the more points you get, and you can use those points to render your own project, as long as it's small and well-prepared for rendering!
I wish I could push for more realism in this composition, but it's good enough for a beginner (well former Autodesk Maya student) project. But that's not my focus for this project. It's a precursor for learning what I need to work on for WOR's development in 3D. Future WOR 3D art will be cel-shaded, but I wanted to do some realism to figure out where I'm at with my 3D skills.
a couple of absolute GEMS being given away at my community center’s donation drive… everything was free and, as a volunteer, i had to wait until it ended to grab my favorite stuff but i was pretty satisfied with my haul :))
I just realized next month is pride month!
Any requests for pride plushies or quilts I should make? Like, flags I should make things out of, particular plushie requests, anything
HI ehehheeh I MEAN... i would love to but honestly i have no idea what a nicachucky beanie would look like... i can't think of anythig other than maybe just his face or something?
hi i’m really sorry but i need to get cat food and litter, as well as gas. is anyone able to throw a few dollars my way? i can pay you back when i get paid on friday <3
Hi babe! I miss you! It's Friday night raining I wish you were here...sitting on my bed listening to music and hanging out with me doing art, talking, snacks, watching a movie and cuddling... Hearing your voice, feeling your voice through out my soul bringing in calm, peace, warmth, hearing the rain, the night. Just being with you. It was 12-9-2012 that I last felt your voice at work at lifetime fitness in saint louis park mn 11 years ago I think about you everyday I think about everything that is you. I wish you were here. I hope you are safe and having a goodnight. I'll be forever yours.
the amount of "there are starving children in africa" posting about tumblr checkmarks are getting out of hand. it is morally wrong for you to buy a beanie baby at the grocery store instead of donating that money on the food bank actually. and you are heartless for that beanie baby. why would you buy a videogame when people are dying on gofundme. do you think this is productive rhetoric guys. its seven ninety nine.
