Spoiler Alert for Dead Space 1,2, and 3 [SERIOUS content warnings: Flashing lights, dismemberment, considerable amounts of gore, blood, violence, loud metal music, facial/body horror, needles (I did not include any part of Dead Space 2's infamous needle in eye scene at all). Seriously, these games are known for their wanton body horror. A man's face straight up unfolds. Eeech. ] THIS VIDEO IS DEFINITELY NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN.

Side note: Just so you know what this is even an edit of, this is footage entirely from the dead space game series, paired with a cover of a song from the game Bloodborne, which was performed in the style of the Doom soundtrack. Whew. Additional side note: For some reason, this song (specifically this cover) has matched up surprisingly well with almost every edit I've made and even ones I hadn't yet finished. I don't know why, maybe it has something to do with song structures or our tendencies for pattern recognition. Either way, it's a curious detail.

I was on discord and wanted to talk about doom to my friend so here's a simplification of the timeline? Shittly made but its fine ig.

What happened was he was just a dude on mars who was there on the demonic corruption started woah!!! He fights just as a normal dude and this is doom 1993 anyway he goes to he'll and dies and ties to doom2016?? Idk he goes through portal dies gets teleported to Argent D'Nur and was taken in by the night Sentinels and he was made to fight. He won every fight so they put him on their team and anyway. Night Sentinels were Betrayed and were made to kill their own kind but doomslayer was turned to a secret weapon by the Seraphim and given godly powers hsi strength speed and general strnafht ig. Uhhhh when he was awoken from the divinity machine he was God now technically? Idk. He fought hell and its forces and was fooled into a sarcophagus and years years years later was found by Samuel hayden and was released to fight again now on mars. He continues goes through shit at the end Samuel hayden betrays him and throws him into space. He finds the Fortress of doom somehow? Vega Is there. Again fights he'll again. At the end he kills the icon of sin, khan maykr and the he'll priests which should've been the end BUT NOOOOO THATS NOT THE END.

Ancient gods starts. Dark lord is out never been seen or formed basically satan. Rhey are doppelganger but the dark lord has red eyes and scars all over. Stuff fights he'll again kills God?? At least his physical form and forms the dark lord. Shit happens fights he'll. Fights samur which is Samuel hayden. Kills the dark lord and dies himself bc as the father says "since everything was created by his hand so are you" and he dies rip. Gets sealed away in his sarcophagus again and is left for eternal torment in that box he can never get out or see peace he is only a murder machine created for the 1 purpose of fighting . He can only be unsealed if he fights he'll again which is impossible bc all of them r dead lol u won't be missed but humanity wins and the doomslayer falls

I'll be tackling Rituals and Red Tape for this one because I have the songs on lock:

So for the intro it has to be KickBack

at first I liked this song for the intro on the basis of vibe and liking the anime already. But then, I see the lyrics and it all was just joever from there!

Outro:

So this is where I am going to break the rules a smidge. I don't have a song I feel would fit the outro persay but I do have a collection of songs I listen to when thinking about the final confrontation and climax of the story.

I wonder what the lore explanation will be, the arachnotrons in doom eternal where said to have been created via cloning material from the spider mastermind in doom2016,

Although that calls into question the arachnatron in classic doom since that’s basically canon now. And the spider mastermind

Personally my view is that classic doom is only loosely canon,

TDA's Arachnotrons look like they have chainguns instead of plasma cannons and their projectiles seem borderline hitscan. They're trying to be more like their momma.
