The smile dried on her lips

Frozen, like snow on the pavement

She was a snowman

Carrot nose, black beady eyes

She won't move

Unless you destroy her with gloved hands

As she melts

Her essence drips into the house

That built her presence

Is she a ghost?

No, she's just a woman who's afraid of her face

There's mirrors on your wall

Like garlic to a vampire

It repels her

She'll hide,

In nooks and corners you never visit

She's not a ghost

She's a girl

Trying to hide from the rest of the world

A mere wisp of flesh

The skin sticks where the soul ends

The skin that she hated

Now tries to protect her

Rest assured

Nothing, can save her
