kinda batshit insane but. dsmp sk8 au where beeduo are matchablossom. Hear me out.

older beeduo perfectly comfortable in their marriage keeping it a secret at S because its fun. Ranboo's competitivness stirring up that "tactical flirting" theyre too socially anxious to try in their daily life and tubbo having loads of fun showing off his "lawyer with a stick up his ass" worksona while also cursing his husband off at any point in time.

Tommy is shadow, in this dynamic, a little bit different than in og sk8. Ig he's a little closer to adam inn that hes the same age as beeduo and went to school with them but also hes not a pedo with weird codependent relationships. And i love the idea of him having a little flower shop but also dressing in full punk demonic regalia at S. Let him be fucking weird and extra.

if i want to have adam be close to sk8 canon Dream is the obvious choice. Weird obsession with a singular kid and an incessant need to have power over everyone and everything, with a couple of guys who where super friends with him in his youth but ended up dropping him because of the weird controlling behaviour? perfect. I like the idea of tadashi being punz in this situation, even if george would probably fit better but idk.

It works very well actually because - reki and the babygang would be second gen dsmp kids. In particular, reki would be michael, langa would be shroud, and miya would be yogurt (little subplot- wilbur is Oka in this au, fundy is a random guy thats his son and kinda hates that his own child chose the same hobby as his father). Thus we would have dream getting super super obsessed with shroud - not inn a weirdly sexual way like adam for langa, but as a replacement. Tommy's all grown up, hes not fun to play with anymore. What better than tommy's precious son to fill up the role? Especially since it gets tommy so worked up.

This also opens the way to another secret plot, because te kids would have absolutely no idea its their parents in the masks at S. Michael probably finds out when Nuke gets decked in the face by dream's skateboard during the beef, they have to call the ambulance and - oh prime thats my goddamn dads.

Hello ! I'm a somewhat recently discovered proshipper and I came across this post when looking in the darkship tag. I'm not sure how old this particular post of yours is but I found that due to the larger character limit sending you an ask would be the best way for me to answer these questions you have from my own perspectives.

To begin I really appreciate when people want to learn about it, because that's how I started out. That's what I made this very account for in the beginning. So thank you for your willingness in the matter, as it is a controversial topic! /gen

Anyways, onto the questions you asked on that post.

1. For me, proshipping is a way for me to feel more free in fictional content. And that's what its initial meaning was: anti-censorship, anti-harassment, and being pro-ship or pro-fiction, as in all for both of them. When I was more rooted in antiship beliefs, I felt as if I had to walk on eggshells around my friends because I enjoyed darker and more taboo content than them, and found myself more willing to attack others for their opinions on the matters of fictional content than I do now. Given, this kind of mindset was very intense for me, because while I have been on the internet since 8-9 years old, I was 12-13 when the height of the COVID-19 pandemic existed. I was getting very influenced to go with the flow of what many other pandemic kids were thinking, rather than forming my own opinions on matters. And while I think back then, that was the better option for me, nowadays it's not. Which brings me to your second question, that actually blends into the third one.

2/3. My beliefs into this label had begun, roughly, around 14. Though back then I didn't realize it was proship, as back then I believed it meant problematic ship, as many strong antishippers still believe today. I was 13-14 in 2021, and I am a California resident. So I was evacuated for the Dixie Fire at this time, when I came up with an idea for something. When the school year began, due to what I take it to be as essentially a mix of psycho-emotional whiplash from the fire that my area narrowly survived, PTSD, and the fact the past 2 years of my life were spent online and taking care of my semi-brain damaged mother, I had a psychotic breakdown, where this idea took on much darker turns and became more akin to Dead Dove do not Eat content. I will not name what this idea is for the sake of my privacy.

But in 2021, I felt ashamed for having the thoughts of making this dark content. Nobody wanted dark content aside from the violent stuff that circulated the fandom sides of the internet at that time, where it could be sugarcoated: Danganronpa, Yandere Simulator, and more, and I'd even say DSMP though I wasn't a fan of it. So I kept it in the back of my mind, developing it further while keeping it mostly under wraps.

Fast-forward to May/June of this year. I was 16. One of my friends is outed as a darkshipper. I was, initially confused. And of course, I was weary. Even after years of not really minding what others did and staying in my own circle, to have someone personal to me be considered such still freaked me out. But, I heard them out on this topic, much like how you are hearing proshippers out on this topic. And I realized that what I've been told for the many years I've been on the internet at this point may have been wrong. So I made this blog. I made it as a way to figure more out without relying on a potentially biased view from my friend. Within a few days, I realized that I believed in the proship views, and not only that, but I actually liked being a proshipper quite a bit better. Which, much like the last, leads me to your final question.

4. Having proship beliefs has bettered my views on things exponentially. I have realized that there's no shame in liking dark, taboo, and any other kinds of content and that it doesn't have to apply to my IRL morals. Since I discovered this about myself I have been putting more into that initial idea of mine back when I was 14, and have done numerous other things in regards to it, which has bettered my understanding of myself and the new groups of people around me. I'm still in groups that are primarily antiship, because I'm not "openly" proship outside of this blog. But I've been able to take my mindset and think of things a way different from them, so I don't really mind. I'm now 17, high school senior, and I think being proship/profic has also helped my ability to write for my classes with a bit more nuance, but that's hard to say for sure.

but omg. why can't people like. write good romance? just. idk. I haven't actually read a book in so long, but I remember I tried to read Throne of Glass and??? I'm targeting a series rn. I haven't even finished it because I got so incredibly irritated with one of the books because their inability to communicate was genuinely hindering their mission. Also why do crushes sound like they make you feel ill. Just.

I'm ace spec (aegosexual) and aro spec (probably cupiobiromantic), and I'm okay with smut and romance (if they fucking do it right/well holy shit) but also? ROMANCE IS NOT A REQUIREMENT TO PUBLISH A BOOK. Shouldn't your plot be enough? Can't you LET everyone be friends without having crushes on each other?

Okay so I lied. But I'm pretty sure it's one of the only fandoms where there are more Gen fics than shipping ones. Ayy it has the 4th, 5th, 6th, and 8th most common Gen pairings. But I've been a part of that for so long that now it's weird not being able to find generally platonic fics.

I don't know what I'm saying anymore.

It's just irritating to not be able to find major relationships that I relate to in books, especially as I graduated from more elementary reading.

I've been thinking alot of dream smp kids lately, and wanna sort out their age by when their parents got them.

First, I feel like Micheal and Foolish jr will be the older ones since I do remember Tubbo and Foolish talking about them way before the other kids became canon.

I think it would be Michelle next, adopted at an older age when Micheal and Foolish jr were but again she doesn't want Foolish jr to think she's they're aunt. Then Finley came into the picture!

Yogurt and Shroud would be the youngest cause I said so, with Yogurt being a little bit older than Shroud and Shroud being the youngest just gives so much shy but gremlin energy.
