Let’s take a look at the energy that can be expected for this week, Sunday, July 19 through Friday, July 24, 2020. Sunday and Monday: The New Moon (Promise) card indicates that the first two days of this week are a perfect time for new beginnings. Now is the perfect time to start a new project, work on cleaning up and organizing your surroundings and work on building something new for yourself. The effort that you put forth over the next two days will be worth it. Tuesday and Wednesday: The Clouds (Shapeshifting) card reveals a time to be observant and to be aware of our sense of self. We need to be flexible and learn to flow and glide with the wind current no matter what might come our way. Keep your energy and your heart as light as possible. Thursday and Friday: The Whale (Breach) card for this week indicates that these two days will be a great time to look at what is holding you back in your life. What habits and patterns do you need to break free from or adjust in order to create more happiness for yourself? Take time to step back and look at yourself objectively. Where and how can you break past the bad habits that are holding you back? Create a plan for that and start to implement it as the week comes to a conclusion. So I did this spread on purpose since today is Ostara aka Spring Equinox aka the first official day of spring. This deck is called Earth Magic Oracle Cards by Steven D. Farmer

In the center we see Spring Equinox representing rebirth. There’s an owl, a rabbit, a butterfly and a woman covered in greenry. Everything is coming back to life. Plants, creatures emerging with their young. This is a powerful time of transformation and to start something new. To venture into unknown territory.

Above this card is the Green Man representing Synergy. And below on the bottom is Gaia representing Nurturing. These two cards are powerful together. They work together each day to provide natural resources and then regrowing them to continue providing. The Green Man provides, the creatures eat. Those same creatures deposit seeds and then Gaia helps aid them to grow again in abundance. Based on the card positions, Green Man above can be interpreted as the Sky God or Father Sun who provides light and rain for plants to grow. Gaia below is the earth itself providing the rest of the ingredients to grow such as soil, rivers, lakes and oceans, trees ect. The two work in unison to bring forth the creation that we all call home. My international of this is abundance. What do you seek in abundance? And how can you utilize these two unified energies to achieve or get what you seek? 🙂

On the left we see Dreamtime representing Creation. This particular card is based on an aboriginal tale. Aborigines believe Dreamtime is a place of time and outside of time in which ancestral spirits came to earth and gave all life its form. Once done, the spirits remained in the very forms they created - stars, animals, hills, ect. Dreamtime is also an individual’s spiritual template including songs and stories handed down for at least 60,000 years. Although, aborigines would say they existed since the beginning of time. In one such tradition there’s a creation story involving the didgeridoo, which is a hallowed our log that emits a droning sound when played. In this card we see the spirit man depicted is playing a didgeridoo and is singing the world into existence. This is a card that is telling you to get your creativity flowing. What have you been putting off? Perhaps it’s time to start the new project or new job. To move forward and get out of being stagnant. 💖

On the right we have Fairies. Also spelled Faeries. And represents Earth Magic. No question why. The Fae have very long and very old stories surrounding them in Celtic culture and made their way all over the world. They are powerful beings that prefer to be caretakers of nature. Plants, fruit, trees, ect. If you are able to make an ally of the Fae, they will help aid and guide you into being your best self and aiding you with your troubles and providing protection. So this card comes down to one question: How can you utilize Earth’s Magic aka Gaia, to help you in this time? What do you need right this second? First thing that comes to mind. Meditate on that one thought and see where it takes you.

Today’s Earth card is Tsunami—wake up call. This card to me is connected to The Tower card in the tarot, which is a moment or experience that seeks to shake your ego and propel you into change. Water is closely connect to the way we feel and experience our emotions as well as the emotions of others. Ask yourself, where am I emotionally constipated? What have I been longing to say, feel, or even cry over that I’ve not allowed myself to express? Where am I flooded and needing to dam the river? The energy in this card is saying it is time to WAKE UP and allow yourself to feel. Stop letting ego deny you the experienced being human. Something big is coming and this is a challenge to accept what IS instead of allowing the fear of change to stifle your Soul’s Purpose. Tsunami’s are caused by a quake in the ocean. 🍁Happy Thanksgiving🍂 I decided to do a little reading regarding thankfulness, with the #EarthMagicOracleCards This year has been rough on most of us, to say the least, so a little thankfulness will hopefully go a long way. The card is Lightning - Power. One thing we can all agree on is that this has been a powerful year. This card wants us all to know that this power is available to us, and it is the force of Life itself. It is a neutral power, neither bad nor good. "Do not allow yourself to get caught up in the duality of good or bad. When we witness Nature's power with open hearts and minds, we see that it is neither destructive nor constructive... it simply is." It is how we use this power that matters. How we use it determines whether it will be harmful for us or whether it will push us to the next level. Yes, Lightning can be destructive. But it also illuminates.
