I’VE SEEN BLACK MEN GET ON TIKTOK & VEHEMENTLY EXPRESS THEIR PREFERENCE FOR “AESTHETICALLY NON-BLACK”, “EXOTIC” OR STRAIGHT UP WHITE WOMEN AND THEY FELT COMFORTABLE IN DOING SO.
Some Women challenged these men by arguing that their personal preferences stemmed from western Anti-Black conditioning and internalized self-hatred. They also challenged men who bashed the Black women who were NOT their preference in order to emphasize who they “prefer”.
NOW THE TABLES HAVE TURNED & BECAUSE OF THIS VIRAL CONVERSATION BETWEEN IYANLA VANZANT & EBONI K WILLIAMS… A-LOT OF WOMEN ARE PUBLICLY AGREEING WITH WILLAMS .. SAYING THEY WOULD NOT DATE A BLUE COLLAR MAN. BUT UNLIKE BLACK MEN THEY ARE NOT SAYING ANYTHING ELSE DEROGATORY ABOUT BLUE COLLAR MEN.
Why is it that BM get come online and be derogatory towards Black women in order to emphasize their preferences …. only to justify their actions by saying - “it’s just a preference” But when women (who are in a higher tax bracket) simply say, they want to date men within their tax bracket? Men are throwing up, sliding down the wall & taking it as a personal attack??
IN A PATRIARCHAL SOCIETY… WOMEN ARE ALWAYS VIEWED AS “WRONG” UNLESS THEY DEVOTE THEIR LIVES TO SERVICING THE PATRIARCHY.
Reni Lodge has a book : Why I’m no longer talking to white people about race… similarly women need to stop talking about (love, dating, marriage) around men. The male masses will always promote the oppressive systems that men benefit from the most.

Eboni. K Williams was doing the absolute most in her response to the outrage about her comments on bus drivers. What the fuck does white supremacy have to do with you not wanting a bus driver? Just simply say you want a man that can match you. Say you want a man who has more. That is all. Trying to find someone to blame for why people are against you is stupid. I wish people would just say what they feel and fucking stand in it. Stop trying to explain yourself. You really don’t have to. If you don’t want to date a bus driver, than you don’t want to date one. That is your fucking right. Just like men have preferences, so can women.

The issue with the African-American community is its been very hard for us to build generational wealth, because black men are disproportionately targeted by the police and incarcerated, our neighborhoods are redlined, so we can't buy in neighborhoods where there are good schools, and all the rest that comes with it. If you marry a bus driver, you may not be able to send your kid to the best schools. So if you want to build generational wealth as an African-American woman - and we are the most educated demographic in the country - then it's hard to marry a bus driver. I don't know that black women can afford to do that.
I would not be able to pay for my son's college, pay for my daughter's private school, without the choices that I've made. And if not, they would've had to have taken out loans, and there goes another generation saddled with debt and no generational wealth. And I can't accept that.

Is Bravo’s Attempt of Diversity a Failure?!
Tumblr media
With the speculations of Garcelle Beauvais leaving RHOBH, I can’t help but ask:
Is Bravo’s attempt at bringing more diversity to their shows an epic failure?
I’m thinking about all the women who was brought on the shows with a dominating white cast and the disasters the interactions left the shows with.
Tiffany Moon joined RHOD and was an amazing addition who brought fresh energy to a struggling show.
But due to the racist feud with Kameron Westcott the show got cancelled.
And what about Eboni K. Williams? She joined RHONY and wanted to enlighten topics of race.
But it was a complete fiasco!
Ramona Singer was reported to the HR because of discriminating behaviour, and it resulted in the cancellation of the reunion and later the show.
Bravo later put Ramona on RHUGT to soften her image in the eyes of the fans, but it didn’t help.
While Bravo was protecting Ramona, the women on RHONY were icing Eboni out! Even Leah McSweeney, which was shocking to me!
And then there’s the mess and chaos in Salt Lake City.
Jennie Nguyen, who we learned had posted some awful things on social media about Black Lives Matters, harassed and threw a glass after Mary Cosby.
And no one was checking up on her!
But Jennie is also one of the worst casting decisions ever made by Bravo.
It was easy to find the racist posts and Bravo should’ve done a better background check.
And then there is Beverly Hills. And not just RHOBH.
The shocking confessionals of Faith Stowers from Vanderpump Rules forced Bravo to clean house.
Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute were fired because of this.
Crystal Kung Minkoff doesn’t exactly get along the best with most of the cast, where she and Kyle Richards specifically were butting heads at the reunion.
And we all know how Garcelle feels on RHOBH and Andy Cohen failed to acknowledge it at the reunion.
But if Garcelle leaves… then there’s just Crystal left!
All the other women have either left due to disturbing conflicts on the show or gotten fired. This is bad.

was watching a commentary about an interview between Eboni K Williams and DJ Envy and how they got into it bc she said she wouldn’t date a bus driver on Iyanla’s show or whatever and the way that Eboni had to argue her points to these idiots on the breakfast club…I literally got a headache from being so angry lmao
so black women have to settle and not want partners that match their mindsets and finances (Eboni’s a lawyer) bc black men just can’t get ahead in life for whatever reason? being a bus driver isn’t a bad job but lawyers and bus drivers are not even in the same social circles? it makes no sense other than black women have to lower our expectations bc racism and “the system” are why black men are soooo behind. but if that’s the reason why aren’t black women in the same predicament? if black women can find success and higher education and careers consistently…what’s stopping black men from doing the same?

So ppl mad at Eboni K Williams a lawyer a TV personality who was asked by Iyanla would she date a bus driver and Eboni said no. Eboni make millions of dollars why would she lower her standards. I got nothing against being a bus driver but I am tired of ppl wanting black women to lower their standards to get a man instead of opening up her options. If I am a black woman making 100,000 of dollars to millions of dollars no I am not going to lower my standards and date a bus driver. Ppl need to stop expecting black women to build up a man lower her standards her financial wealth and credit while helping him. Why would you ask a black woman to lower her standards. I am sick of it.

What Eboni K. Williams said about black women didn't offend me. Cause she isn't speaking to me. She isn't speaking to the black women who don't want marriage. She is speaking to the ones who do. Some black women want to live the fairy-tale. They want a husband, kids and a white picket fence. I don't want those things. I'm extremely picky and I plan to always be that way. My standards aren't changing. I rather live alone, than with a man that causes me nothing but stress and sadness. I'm an introvert, so I'm comfortable with myself and being alone. I actually prefer it.
Also, Eboni K. Williams isn't God. She can have her opinion about black women. Eboni is a political pundit. Her job is literally to say outlandish things about certain topics. Cause that gets people's attention and it gets clicks.

Season Premiere Of Drink Champs With Grandmaster Flash
Tumblr media
Some podcasts that promote free-flowing conversation treat their listeners to conversational chaos with people talking over one another, unidentified people speaking, random interjections, and trips down dead end conversational alleys.
Not Drink Champs. I've listened to the show, and it is exactly as promoted, as a night of boozy conversation and boisterous storytelling. The hosts and guests engage together in fun, light-hearted conversation - looking back at their paths to success, highlighting their lives, friendships, and iconic moments within their careers.
Any time multiple people are talking in a party-like atmosphere, recording a podcast can present problems with volume level, equalization, and people talking over one another. Drink Champs co-hosts and production people have mastered this logistical challenge. The co-hosts' voices are clear and multiple conversations flow without distortion and add to the depth of the atmosphere.
A long-form podcast -- episodes can last over two hours -- with a conversational art for exploring ideas, friendship, and the most interesting anecdotes from the hip-hop community, Drink Champs excels at unconventional, cultural storytelling.
The first episode of the new season of "Drink Champs,” a podcast series, hosted by Legendary Queens rapper N.O.R.E and Miami hip-hop pioneer DJ EFN, from Warner Music Group’s (WMG) in-house podcast network Interval Presents, just premiered. You can listen to the first episode HERE.
In the season premiere, N.O.R.E. & DJ EFN "chop it up" with the legendary rapper, Grandmaster Flash. The creator of the Quick Mix Theory, Grandmaster Flash explains how he created the technique which gave birth to scratching, cutting, and transforming. Flash shares stories from the early days of his iconic group “Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five” which is the first rap group to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2007. “Drink Champs” and Interval Presents seek to amplify underrepresented voices and explore the impact of music artistry from diverse perspectives—in a very lighthearted way over drinks and laughs! Each week, special guests sit down with the hosts for a night of conversation and storytelling to talk about life experiences, friendship, and culture. Previous guests included Akon, Jim Jones, Joe Budden, Wiz Khalifa, Marlon Wayans, Tony Yayo, Irv Gotti and more. “Drink Champs,” from Interval Presents, drops new episodes every Friday. Listen to “Drink Champs” on Apple Podcasts HERE or wherever you get your podcasts.
The company that produces Drink Champs is Interval Presents, which is a podcast network from Warner Music Group (WMG).
I don't usually spend a lot of time on these production companies, but Interval Presents has been on a roll, creating some of the best podcasts in the industry.
Launched in 2022, the network is rooted in artistry, authenticity, and diversity, with unique storytelling about today’s trending topics. Interval Presents’ slate of programming amplifies underrepresented voices, cultures and explores the impact of music artistry from diverse perspectives. The network’s programming slate includes talk shows and narrative-driven episodic podcasts. I recommend any of the shows listed below. They are all ear worthy in their own specific way. Interval Presents produces “Drink Champs” co-hosted by N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN, “Underwater,” featuring Jason Derulo, “Yeah, I F*cked That Up,” hosted by Billy Mann, “Rap Radar” featuring Elliott Wilson and Brian “B.Dot” Miller, “Holding Court” with Eboni K. Williams, and “The Last Resort” narrated by Xiuhtezcatl, with forthcoming shows hosted by Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o, as well as “Amplify Color,” highlighting Black trailblazers who changed this history of radio.
