this one starts off as human!alastor/lucifer but by the middle(?) its just regular radioapple. basically al is encountered by luci while finishing off a job who agrees to keep quiet. luci just keeps on showing up, reveals hes the devil to which al us just like "lol ok" and eventually they get in a relationship (ooh lala 👀) but they break up after saying some hurtful things to each other (oh nono 👀) with luci promising al they will never cross paths again. if you watched the show then well. you know that doesnt happen 😂 most human!al radioapple have al summon him (no hate to them) so this was an interesting change of pace

cannot stress it enough but this is a WORKING list i WILL be coming back to it bc these are purely the fics i could think if off the top of my head. I swear if i see one more mf say izzy has been 'redeemed' or needed a 'redemption arc' im literally going to scream into my pillow until i lose my voice.

redeem is such a black and white way of looking at his entire character and dismisses everything hes gone through and yall (izzy haters and others) are just so fucking snob nosed and ignorant to sit there and think hes a villain because of how he acted. theyre fucking pirates. theyre not perfect, none of them are. eds a villain, stedes a villain, if youre doing it like that. ed has killed so many people, stede literally left his wife and kids and also had a hand in killing people; it may be easier for them to change because of the perspective the show gives them and they had love but izzy did not. everyone hated him, ed, his own crew, stedes crew.

normalizing peoples reactions to things as something other than villainy and heroism is so god damn important in a show that's trying to accurately involve our perspectives in this day and age. its a tale as old as time, making someone 'completely in the wrong' because their perspective isnt the one you aligned with as much.

Astro Observations: synastry edition

- Hard aspects to Saturn is common in long distance relationships. - Moon square Pluto will put a relationship to the test frfr. - Sun square mars, may the biggest ego win. - Mars conjunct Jupiter = best friendsssss. I love this aspect it feels like you can talk about anything with this person. When anything happened in my life this person got the phone call. - Uranus is so fun in synastry the relationship most likely isnt conventional or long term but it adds such a child like enjoyment. Practicality goes out the window and its just about enjoying the present because there be some ghosting going on sooner or later but yesssss show up at my door unannounced i love shit like that.

- Too much 12th house is just a major red flag for me. Intentions are always in question. Gives love hate vibes. They could treat you differently based on who's around. Ive had many 12th house relationships atp i roll my eyes when i see this between me and someone lmao. Not all 12th house is like that though for example me and this guy had venus in 12th house both ways. I loved the way he treated me. Ive never experienced someone be so nurturing and giving so soon, but i just didnt feel the chemistry. On paper it made so much sense but the passion just wasnt there. hey so for tlou season 2 they have to create a fake plot for marketing and i think i figured it out!

basically they cant say what the plot is for obvious reasons, and for the game they made the fake plot of ellie going on a revenge quest for probably dina or a friend while joel tags along. what I THINK theyre gonna do though, is this:

The fake plot is that ellie is going to try finding the fireflies in seattle while joel tries to come to terms with what he did to them, and what he did to ellie by lying to her.

heres why i think thats the case:

theres a focus on joel with his therapist played by catherine o hara, this first seems just like a way to show off their guest star, but it works as well by putting joels decision at the focus of the trailer through it starting/ending with him, and the therapists voiceover helps with that as well

this also sets a precedent for other guest stars, almost making characters like abby seem like one rather than a huge player in the story

they show clips of dina in seattle so theyre not going for the revenge plot

they also use the flashback clip as well to hammer home the importance/fragility of joel and ellies relationship

so like...is this a lot of evidence? no lmao but i think its the little things with trailer editing that can subconsciously create a precedent for what we are going to watch!

i think with abby its either making her seem like a guest star, OR making it more of a supporting character who might be someone who wants to publicize what joel did, at least to abby, or have her show up as a "look at the two teenage girls who joel affected because of what he did; ellie and abby", idk maybe her "revenge quest" is going to be advertised as a season-long thing when it isnt.

this also tells us a lot about what they might do for the structure of the season BUTT thats for another post okay rant over!

Putting all the tumblr error anon asks into one little segment here, uh let me try and explain what happened!

I think tumblr implemented some, new image filter system...? Which for some reason, did not like some of my panels in comics, making it so they would not show up on dashboards, only my profile

Tumblr was no help on this, did not respond to any emails (at least not yet...?)

Since less people followed my main I posted each panel one by one to see which panels got through the filters and which ones the new filters had issues with

I also want it to be known that it was not just a my account thing, some friends of mine also attempted posting the panel with no luck on it showing up on dashes

So after finding which panels the filters didnt like, it was a matter of editing the panel until tumblr decided to allow it through the filters, you are going to laugh at these results, I had to put filters over them for tumblr to even allow these discord screenshots:

In conclusion: tumblr is being really stupidly picky over the images I post out of nowhere, and if this happens with each comic I try to post I will go mad

Okay at first I wasn’t gonna reply to this because if you’re not gonna put your name behind what you’re saying then I don’t see why I should treat it seriously if you’re not. But you brought up some stuff I kinda agree with so I decided to just reply anyways.

Firstly, I tag stuff with girlblogging and coquette because that’s what my blog is about. This is a girlblog, so anything on it is girlblogging. I don’t want someone to follow me because of my opinions on a piece of content just to realise I never talk about it again and having ended up wasting their time. And honestly, because girlblogging is so ingraned with gender roles, I like having it in all of my content, not just my ‘cute’ posts, to show that it’s not all cute thoughts and outfits and not thinking, it includes actually having normal opinions and feelings and thoughts.

Second, yeah you’re right about filtering, I really didn’t think of it, I’m sorry. I just didn’t want my point to be lost because it’s automatically filtered. People on other apps do it too, and I didn’t want to risk getting my post or even account taken down bc of it. Also I agree its a mature topic and it needs to be treated like one, so I’m sorry for my wording!

Also, if this spam tagging annoys you so much, you could’ve been a lot more respectful asking about it. I know it’s easy to not see people on different accounts as other people, but that definitely could’ve been an informative comment. im super sorry if this isnt the place to ask for advice but i wanted to know if it seems like i have npd or not (i do have bpd and hpd)

reasons why i might have it: it takes me a super long time to realize when i fucked up, i have daydreams of saving people and being a hero and being cooler than i am, i have main character syndrome /lh, when i'm hurting and other people are hurting i tend to center my pain even if they're hurting worse, my view of myself depends very heavily on what others think of me, i have dated no less than 3 people for the sole reason that they liked me/asked me out and i wanted to feel loved even if they werent really my type

reasons why i might not have it: at least every three days i have a big breakdown where i hate myself an incredible amount, i have high empathy which is likely because of autism

heyo! unfortunately i can't diagnose you or tell you if you have NPD or not, but i will say i do relate to some of what you've mentioned here (though tbf, i have BPD and HPD as well 😭.) it is also possible that the things you've listed here are due to your BPD and HPD. being in the same cluster BPD, HPD, and NPD absolutely can share traits among themselves and imo, the things you've listed here seem like they could be attributed to either your BPD or HPD.

if you still have concerns thoughs, it'd probably be best to look deeper into resources about NPD to see if you meet the criteria. i can link some posts that may be helpful:

this is a post that explains the diagnostic criteria of NPD, basically giving examples and elaborating on on what each symptoms means/how it can present. i will say this most likely isn't an exhaustive list and each symptoms can show up in different ways than listed in the post, but it's a good post for getting an idea of what the symptoms look like in action.

this is a checklist and basically elaboration of the diagnostic criteria. all the information in this checklist is things pulled from the DSM itself.

i also have a resources tag with other helpful things if you'd like to check that out!

i do also want to put out that while having no or low empathy is very common in people with NPD, it's not diagnostically required. the primary host of our system is an NPD symptoms holder and they actually had consistently very high empathy for the first around 13ish years of our life. things changed because of trauma and they now have more low or fluctuating empathy, but their high empathy at the time existed along side their NPD symptoms.

edit: i wanna make a little correction! sorry, it's been a sort of a long day and my dissociated ass seems to have forgotten what the critera says. so, from what i'm getting, a lack of empathy is in the criteria, but i will say it's still possible to have high or average empathy with NPD. you only need to meet 5 of the 9 criteria to be diagnosed and you may just not fit that criteria while fitting the others.

Someone had asked me why I've chosen tumblr over other sites, and I thought I would make it a post here as well-likely to just hand over this link the next time someone asks me!! Because out of the currently available main sites, tumblr is so far-BY far, my favorite one to use!!

The reasons for this are!!;

♡➤ tumblr is just a very very creative space. There are tons of inspiration around every corner, with people always trying new things, and coming up with new ideas, and sharing all different kinds of xiv content-typically with a lot of skill and passion behind it. The same can be said for other sites too, but I've personally found that the xiv community on tumblr is just a bit more creative to me. For sure a LOT more inspiring-it is a very chill place to embrace your cringe. ♡➤ If you mess up, you can always edit. This one is a huge one for me, because I always always look back on something I've posted and wish that I could adjust it. Sites like twitter or bsky-once you post it, that's it, you're stuck. You have to delete it, or just post it again. Whereas with tumblr, you can always go back and edit it at any time. You can always swap out or add in more images, more text, a video-you mostly are in full control here. Which I tend to need a lot. ♡➤ The image and video quality are typically quite nice. Twitter and bsky crunch the living daylights out of quality-essssspecially with video, and it drives me nutsNUTS!! tumblrs video system isnt PERFECT, but so far I enjoy it a lot more than elsewhere. ♡➤ I love the tagging system here, tagging on tumblr has always been fun. I love adding a bajillion tags and it not showing up right next to my post like on other sites, but rather under it, and from my page mostly not even SEEN. I like that the tags have endless amounts of space to ramble with, and I also like seeing people rant or nerd out via their tags too. ♡➤ Tagging part 2; For You page boogaloo!! I love that I can compile allllll these little tags into my big list, and just see everything I love right there in once place, or even in separate places! Other sites dont have that, or if they do, its really funky to get around. I want to like a bunch of stuff, and see it alll at once! ♡➤ I like that I have the choice between sharing my likes, or keeping them secret ♡➤ I like that I can customize my page!! This is sooooooo oldschool, but I really really missed being able to have a cool customized page with little graphics, and maybe music, and anything else I could think of. I like having the control over the look and feel of my page, and not being forced into having a uniform profile exactly like everyone else's!! ♡➤ I like the "ask" message and comment systems! I don't use them that much right now, but I appreciate that they're there, and that I don't have to use some other site or app just to ask or answer a little question if need be, and how we can just leave little comments on posts as well!! ♡➤ I love that I can add music to posts! Or any other link for that matter, I can just link whatever the heck I'm talking about onto some words instead of having to do a separate post to share that! ♡➤ I loove the mass editor!! I love that I can just open up the archive and mass private or delete whatever I'm not vibing with anymore in an instant, instead of it being some long drawn out process, as well as being able to mass add or remove tags!! ♡➤ And overall, I just really love the xiv community here. I love all the art, all the pretty and well thought out screenshots, I love the stories, the writings, the player driven events, and prompts-it's just sooo much here that I don't think is anywhere else to this extent. It's very relaxed, it's very 'at your own pace' feeling, everyone is quite welcoming and kind!!, and I don't at all get the complex feelings that I often get on other sites. I always feel happy and pumped to post here, which is something that I wasn't feeling when I posted elsewhere. tumblr doesn't tend to have as much negative attention as other places can, and I love that I can just post whatever mushy cringe I want, and not have to worry about how another may feel, or take or twist it, or..no issues with parasocial behavior here, just overall a very freeing experience compared to elsewhere!

Ok, well THAT was a TON of reasons! But yeah! So, while I do have a bsky too, tumblr is mainly my priority now. I think bsky is fun to post in the moment spam on, but like deeper stuff I just love to share here. I am excited feeling! To share here, so. Ok, then that is all!!

6: What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Ooooof, i dont shine on writing angsty endings. If im allowed to go with one thats not fully posted yet (or fully writen) it would be "the five stages of losing roman". There is a pernament character death. (Guess which character/lh). Maybe 'a bridge to cross' or 'sunday shirt' but they both are more bittersweet than angsty. I dont really post sad ending, huh. Time to change that/hj (there are a few wips that have more angst, but they arent fully edited)

7: What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

All of them/hj.

I'm gonna say honeybee(also no longer proud of that one) cuz there is the biggest contrast between the story and the ending.

Not particularly fond of them tbh, but i am tempted to give it a fair try before i judge them too harshly.

I mean, i am doing it rn. English isnt my first language. I did write parts of it in another language. But i dont think I would write a full on dialogue in another language than the rest of the fic. For a few reasons. Mostly my perfectionism.

Ummmm. Idk. Winnie the pooh, atla or penguins of madagaskar, probably. The firts one i posted though was Hamilton i think - (and i am mighty proud of my idea, not proud of the execution. I was like 12 ok? XD)

Maybe of friends foe and fae? bc its the first long fic i fully posted? Also a fic that will forever live in my wips and im not sharing that one (ite not smut but damn i am showing my soul a lil too much in that one).

but like let me be clear the only reason reol isnt number 1 is bc the full version of the song only came out like 2 weeks ago and the earlier released shorter anime ver of kissaki is literally 7th on the list.

- Currently reading: ...i mean mostly just renheng fanfic but uhhh. i did read where the crawdads sing from delia owens (just plucked it out from the bookshelf randomly bc i was bored) a month or so back. it was neat but no like particular strong feelings abt it. it was very well written and i liked the flow of the prose a lot. also waiting for crooked kingdom to get a finnish translation bc i got six of crows in finnish and i dont do book series as mixed language sets generally. (also the translation work itself was just like an absolute fucking banger with the imagery and metaphors used like chef kiss)

- Currently watching: no particular show (last thing was when i rewatched fmab a couple months ago) going on but like. random video essays or informative stuff on yt honestly and its mostly for bg noise.

- Current favorite character: gee i wonder. dan heng (past editions included), blade, (big gap here bc i tunnel vision on characters), bailu, luocha, jing yuan i think for specific ones from hsr for now. am looking out for jingliu and fu xuan too i need to study them. in genshin its like. yeah its mr childe ajax tartaglia all the way but i kinda just havent been feeling it for the game much so eh. tighnari, kazuha up there too n arlecchino obvi.

- Current WIPS: what kind of productive person do you take me for??? ig i like. opened word this week to type out some random passage drafts for a ficlet type thing relating to the post i made a while back abt belobogs temperatures wrt dan hengs potential terrible, horrible, no good, very bad scalie time with it but do Not expect any results from that or anything i s2g. ive finished one fic in my life and that was half poetry half madness full one sitting and be done with it type deal
