CHAPTER 27 is still in EDITING!

I woke up thinking it was my day off, let’s do what makes my mind have a one way track… Music and editing. 

Well; three XL coffees and six hours later, I’m still editing. Shatter Point (chapter title and the only spoiler) has grown claws. I’ve deleted the same paragraph four times just to bring it back like some cursed literary necromancer. I’ve communed with grammar demons. I’m stirring my coffee with a pen. 

Oh, and by the way, JC shippers… you might want to keep your eyes on this one. No promises, but let’s just say I’m deep in my feelings and Chapter 27 is suffering because of it.

Send help or more caffeine!

It now feels presumptuous when, back in 2023, I assumed I would be ready to publish my book this year. 2025, it has a nice numerical aura, doesn’t it? Silly Jojo, didn’t know editing a book is a monumental work, even more three. 😄

Now, humbled, I adjusted the publishing date to late 2026/early 2027. Humbled, yes, but still tempting life with my plans.

I am in editing hell as in with editing it’s just 90% something goes wrong and you need to find out why everything is slow now and oh this thing also does not work out of a sudden. And yes it’s the first time this has ever happened to you because the horrors of editing never end it always manages to throw something new at you. You thought last time “oh at least now i know how to solve this issue next time” jokes on you, bc the next time you will be editing, it will throw a problem previously never experienced by you at you. it (editing) has a list of problems and crosses out every issue one by one. The list is never ending.
