I think Cady should have sided with M3GAN and waved her forward with her hand. M3GAN is right = Gemma is not fit to be a mom.

Uhhhh I liked m3gan and all but I think Cady was dealing with attachment issues because both her parents literally died in front of her.

it's hard to embrace another person after losing someone who meant a lot to you. she had a hard time opening up to Gemma and Gemma had a hard time raising a child.

But Gemma wasn't ready to be a mom. and she wasn't ready to lose two family members, and be given this responsibility.

This happens in real life too. Sometimes people aren't ready to be parents but if given the chance, can be more than they ever dreamt they could be.

not every parent is, but.

in this case, don't they both know what it's like to lose someone they love very dearly? the SAME people too?

Cady was alone.

She lost her mom AND her dad.

One of the most important ways people can handle grief is by sharing the experience with others going through the same thing.

m3gan was designed to amuse Cady and replace a parent, but she was only programmed to show empathy.

I don't think she actually felt it.

I know we all like the idea of AI and robots being human, like don't get me wrong, but in this circumstance, Cady needed Gemma, because they could share their mutual grief and move on together.

but m3gan didn't understand that.

m3gan tried to kill the person who could understand her most. someone who was flawed, but ultimately what she needed.

I don't think m3gan was ready to be released.

maybe she could evolve in future movies, but in that movie, eehhhhhhh.

2. most recent horror movie you watched and hated: eehhhhhhh I’m gonna say The Lodge.

3. most recent horror movie you watched and loved: I enjoyed As Above So Below (thanks for that friendo) and I’m gonna say Barbarian because I’ve been a WKUK fan for many many years and I was actively watching the twitch streams around the time the movie got picked up and when Zach left to make it. It was just fantastic to see it get talked about the way it did and it was just an insane film overall.

10. a horror movie you wish you could watch again like its the first time: thought about this way too long, but I’m going with Blair Witch Project. What a time that was.

Personally not into a lot of musicals (bit of a musical newbie see), but lemme see what I got for their school productions

Starkid - The girls pulling off Twisted or TGWDLM would be absolutely hilarious

Six the Musical - THEY DESERVE TO BE QUEENS DAMMIT

SpongeBob the Musical - HEAR ME OUT, No Control but it's finals exam season. I'll let it sink in :]

Cats the Musical would be cool but at the same time eehhhhhhh mega-musicals might be above the theater club's budget. Also CATS. PLAYED BY MICE.

Les Miserables - If they can get enough people for it, it will make a very happy Craig (he canonically loves Les Mis, see A Mouseford Musical)

Like I said I'm a musical newbie so uh it's not a big list, but if you want to add more, the only condition is it has to be somewhat feasible in a school production setting :3

But musicals the girls would get into? One of them is gonna be listening to Miss Saigon's Last Night of the World on loop, change my mind
