WHAT’S IT ABOUT

Viv's career with the notorious mercenary company Rackam's Ravens isn't going super great. When she suffers a dread injury during the hunt for a powerful necromancer, the Ravens pack her off for some obligatory and undesired R&R. 

The sleepy beach town of Murk is relaxing, but so far from anything resembling excitement or action that she worries she’ll never get back in the game. But then this down-on-her-luck soldier of fortune starts whiling away her many free hours at a beleaguered bookshop and in the company of its foul-mouthed proprietor. 

We don’t always know what we need, or which small choices change the paths of our lives. 

And adventure isn’t so far from Murk as Viv thinks! A suspicious traveler in gray, a gnome with a chip on her shoulder, a summer fling, and an improbable number of skeletons would like a word.

You're very obviously into Genshin (and your art for it is absolutely gorgeous), but have you ever tried Mihoyo's Star Rail? One of the more recent main story characters is very Kokichicore, and feels like one you'd really like.

okay. so. here's the story. it is, that i played hsr on release at the pace of a lunatic, and i got to tb 65 in like a week and a half, BUT i swore a blood oath to be f2p in THIS hyv game so i tried REALLY REALLY hard to get blade on his first banner without opening wallet. naturally, i failed! so i quit bc i didnt have the energy to grind two hyv games at once

and now a year later my friends are trying to lure me back in with aventurine. unfortunately, it's working because i have a critical weakness for smiling knifecats with a death gambit. so. ive been scrabbling in the dirt for free jades with my wretchedly out dated builds. i just met firefly and the Thing That Calls Itself Sampo (i think). why are aventurine's eyes so beguiling? these soda dogs are kinda beating my ass. i have 50 pulls saved and a dream. i'll keep u posted on how it goes 😔

A colossal aerofleet migration bouncing through the ocular forest doesn't even seem unusual anymore.

M.M. made a lovely sculpture of Bella doing a vivisection on one of the prisoners from Parish-by-the-Expanse. I feel viscerally uncomfortable imagining sweet little Bella "elbow-deep" in anything, so this is a perfect sculpture to display... In the dining room. :)

We got attacked by lil' guys who were cute but no match for Laursen, Blackdragon, Vasso and Pro's shooting abilities.

A shuttle crashed near our little base, with six passengers. Only two of them survived the fall, so we captured them.

There's a sanguophage bat-guy (a "Malachai") named Eerie, and a baseliner named Finch who is unwaveringly loyal.

Everybody hates Eerie because he has the "eldritch" gene which gives everyone a -500 opinion of him, but I think he's adorable and hope he stays.

Depending on what happens with Eerie, Finch will either be executed and eaten, or kept as a hemogen farm.

Collecting Souls
