Ft. Kenma, Kageyama, Oikawa, Atsumu, Sugawara, Akashi and Semi.

summary: Self explanatory to be honest. I also sprinkled in some of their night time routine because why not!

a/n: I’m wearing a new pyjama set, and I’ve been thinking… Also, I know we can see some of their sleepy wear in the fourth season, but let’s imagine for a moment! (Also, please don’t get mad at me about my headcanons… I’m just being silly). Time-skip btw.

Kenma:

First of all, this dude is cold ALL THE TIME! I hate to say it, but he would sleep with socks on. Now that’s out of the way… He would wear a crusty ass red hoodie for over a week. He probably got it from a PR package and will wear it to death. Kenma wears those THICK ASS PLAID PYJAMAS to bed. Long story short, he has to be cozy as fuck. He does not care if he looks mismatched before bed! Especially after a long stream, he wants comfortable bottoms, so he has to just change his top and crawl into bed. Also, he would be the kind of person who plays YouTube videos to fall asleep (usually gaming commentary videos or VODs of streamers).

Kageyama:

He wears grey sweatpants to bed and an old T-shirt from high school or something. Not because he can’t afford a new set of clothes. But because why would he go out and buy new clothes specifically to sleep? Somehow, they’re always in pristine condition. Despite having the shirt for years, it still looks brand new. He takes care of his things! Unlike that heathen Kenma, he does not sleep with socks on. However, for slippers around the house, he wears those UGG moccasins. If he’s cold, he’ll probably buy some Uniqlo heat tech to wear to bed.

Oikawa:

Butt ass naked. The same as Kageyama, but he doesn’t wear a shirt to bed (a harlot, but I love him nonetheless). He wears some sorrel slippers with a lot of fur around his place. He has to keep his room at a specific temperature so he doesn’t have to sleep with a shirt on. ALSO, HE DEFINITELY SLEEPS WITH A HUMIDIFIER WHEN HE IS BACK IN JAPAN. Honestly, I can picture him having silk bedding because it’s better for his skin. He is such a material girl, and he’s not ashamed! He’ll also buy sweatpants specifically to sleep in. Again, he’s very particular about it all.

Atsumu:

Matching set. He would have silk pyjamas or 100% cotton. He has the money in the time-skip, so why wouldn’t he? He wears Adidas slides inside the house. Or whoever sponsors him. Surprisingly, has an extensive skincare routine? He definitely uses Tatcha and Shiseido (he did a campaign for them!) He also sleeps with an eye mask (he got used to it while travelling a lot for games). I could see him trying to meditate before bed (think those headspace type of apps), but as soon as they start with “now close your eyes and try this breathing exercise-“ he’s out like a LIGHT.

Sugawara:

He also opts for sweatpants before bed, but he wears those “long John” (? Might be a Canadian moment for me right now?) undershirts, too! However, this is a ‘special occasion’ or freezing night routine. He’s usually pretty tuckered out after teaching, so it’s not unusual for him to just strip down after a quick nighttime routine and sleep in fresh boxers and a t-shirt. Regular slippers (but with traction). Sugawara would be the kind of person to make some tea before bed, take three sips and then fall asleep. GOD, AND IF HE HAS A PARTNER WHO GAVE HIM A NECKLACE, HE WOULD LITERALLY WEAR IT TO BED! THAT NEVER COMES OFF! The chain stays on during sex. The necklace is either a really lovely gold chain (super simple) OR an adorable handmade one with a charm! He’s so sentimental I’m gonna cry…

Akashi:

Plaid pants or just those really nice silk bottoms. Long sleeves (specifically from Uniqlo, too😋). No shirt, though, if he has a partner. Hehe. And that’s no problem, my beautiful, fluffy haired boyfriend. He got gifted these pompompurin slippers from Bokuto, and he wears them to death! Especially if he’s having a long night editing some things for work! He also has a little glasses stand on his desk. I also hate to say it- but he would wear short socks to bed… Don’t shoot the messenger. I could also see Akashi being the kind of person to set ten alarms and wake up before they all go off (they are set at five-minute intervals). Sometimes, he twitches himself awake-

Only boxers. Thankfully. He wants to pack LIGHT if he’s constantly on the road touring with his band! Although, he might throw on a t-shirt or a cotton ‘a-shirt’ /undershirt. Usually, he has some of his own merch. Not in a conceded way but in an ‘I misplaced my other clothes and I’m annoyed so I’ll just deal with this.’

He’ll usually keep a nice quality sweater on his person if he's recording some music. It’s cold in the studio! Sometimes, he’ll sleep in that if he’s coming home or back to the hotel late. He would ALSO be the kind of person who would wear a necklace his partner gave him to bed. Either a silver chain or a dog tag with their initial or inside joke (this is literally rotting my brain, and I’m going FERAL-). He would also be the kind of guy to sleep with wet hair and not really care because he just styles it whatever in the morning. He wears those Yeezy-type slides around the house.

OIKAWA TORU "you deserve the whole world and more, darling"

look, toru's a sweetheart. he's the type of boyfriend to love taking you out on these romantic, fancy, peaceful dates. whether it be one or the other. sometimes he surprises you with a dinner date at this one restaurant where it takes weeks to get a reservation. other times, it's a quiet walk on the beach on a friday evening with the both of you talking about how your week went. and if you have your own idea of a romantic date, tell him about it. he's definitely all in for it, as long as you have fun as well.

he makes sure you two have fun wherever you go. even when you're in a random store of all places. mirror selfies, wearing accessories that were for sale, making a whole photoshoot out of the display of flowers at the front of the store.

there was this one time you oh-so conveniently found a pair of alien glasses and thought it would suit toru. you made him wear them to take pictures, but he didn't want you to be left out, of course. before you started taking pictures, toru found another pair of sunglasses that were heart shaped, saying "so you only have heart eyes for me, darling" as he handed it to you.

toru always makes sure that his hair looks nice. he doesn't like it when there are strands that are out of place or if it generally just looks really messy. but on the days when he's tired both physically and mentally, he's most likely to be in a state of vulnerability. and it's those moments where he'd like it for you to place your hand on top of his head and play around with his hair. he'll admit that he likes the feeling of your fingers running through his unsurprisingly soft locks. and if you even dare to stop, he'd immediately whine and tell you to continue what you were doing because he was just about to fall asleep.

we all know about his history with plaid pants. he even proposed to get a matching pair of those pants with you. you didn't think it would be a good idea since you couldn't think of a proper outfit you could make out of those, and you doubt you were going to be able to wear them often. instead, your persuaded toru into getting matching plaid pajama pants with you instead. reasoning that it would be way more comfortable, and that you'd be able to wear them almost whenever you want around the house.

I could imagine toru being a sort of morning person. he doesn't wake up super super early though. instead, he gets out of bed at around 6 to 7 or so. most times, you aren't even awake yet while he's already preparing to take a jog around the neighborhood. but on the rare mornings you were awake with him that early, he sometimes doesn't bother to go out on that jog anymore. he would rather spend the entire morning with you, with breakfast and maybe a cup of coffee by your sides.

AKAASHI KEIJI "I'll do my best to be someone that's deserving of you, my love"

every minute you spend with keiji is a time you could let your guard down all at once. because he assures you that he's someone you could trust and lean on no matter what. he convinces you either by words or his actions. whenever he wraps his arms around you, he makes sure to make you feel like you could depend on him to be your shield and safe space when you need a break from the world in general.

when he picks you up for the date he planned for the both of you, keiji is the gentleman that always brings you flowers. and before leaving, he would assist you in placing the bouquet in a vase and putting it somewhere in your house. there's a remembrance of the flowers keiji always gives you in almost every room of your house. there's a vase in the kitchen, two in the living room, and a couple more scattered around every table and shelf.

dates with keiji consists of trips to a variety of cafes, early brunches, museum visits, or spending quiet afternoons at the library. after recieving and paying for your orders at a cafe, the two of you either stay there to finish your food and drinks, enjoying the bustling atmosphere, or leaving to take a stroll wherever your feet take you.

the days where you end up having brunch are the days with the mornings you and keiji preferred to stay in bed for longer than you anticipated. you don't mind though, in fact you didn't think there was anything better than being in your lover's arms for a couple more hours.

you often go to museums to gaze at what you think are the most beautiful things you set your eyes on. although keiji begs to differ. because to him and his eyes, you're the most beautiful thing he could ever catch sight of.

during your visits to the library, he always introduces you to the books he just recently started reading, the ones that were his absolute favorite, and the ones he would like you to read with him. and if you read books as well, that's great! now both of you could geek about your favorite genres, authors, novels, books, and all. and he absolutely enjoys being able to talk to you about the things he loves. but then of course, you're the one keiji loves the most.

there was this one time that he asked you to read a book he liked so he could talk to you about it. you began to read it eventually, of course. but when you reached a certain page, you were suprised to see one of the characters'dialogues highlighted and encircled in pink with hearts scribbled around it."you are perfect for me". keiji was a gentleman. a gentleman that made sure to make you feel as if you were the most special person in the world. and of course, a gentleman that made you feel loved. so so loved.

KENMA KOZUME "you're so special to me, pretty. you have no idea."

you support kenma as much as you can when it comes to the subjects and things that he likes; and he knows that. so ever since you two began dating, he slowly gained more and more confidence to openly share his hobbies and activities of amusement with you. and you wouldn't have it any other way.

during the nights the two of you are together in one of your homes, one of you would always suggest to play a game or watch a movie. you almost always end up doing both, though. when you get bored while watching the movie, you switch to playing mario kart on the tv, and vice versa. because of that, it's often as well that the both of you end up staying way past the time you were supposed to, then you end up sleeping in the next day. (that usually only happens on the weekends though)

when the both of you planned on going a date that involves going outside though, it would always be an enjoyable time. when you and kenma went to the carnival one evening, you made sure you rode at least more than half of the rides that were available. of course, that involved walking around for who knows how long. and that wasn't something kenma would absolutely love to be doing on a sunday evening. at all. but then at the end of the day, he knew that the extra workout and sweat was worth it once he saw how your smile stretched from ear to ear while he was walking you home.

when you dragged him to the mall, he was expecting to be accompanying you on yet another shopping spree of yours. he was already imagining entering various clothing stores and you asking for his opinion on the outfit you wore every time you stepped out of a fitting room. what he wasn't expecting, though, was for you to lead him straight to one of the arcades he often visited himself. while you were buying your tokens, you noticed the look of confusion your lover threw at you. "lev told me they added tons of new games here! I wanted to try them out with you" you explained giddily. and somehow, that made kenma smile, before following you further into the arcade.

it's often that volleyball practice sucked out the small amount of energy kenma had left after a tiring day. and so on the late afternoons you came by the gym to pick him up so the both of you could walk home together and you noticed him looking worn out, you already knew what to do. you convince kenma that either one of you stay over at the other's place for the night, knowing that both of you needed the warmth of comfort of each other's presence to cool off after the long day you had.

ATSUMU MIYA "my whole heart belongs to you and only you, doll"

atsumu is definitely one of the most clingy boyfriends out there. every minute the two of you are together, he always has to be holding your hand. and if he's not, he has the urge to do it. when he's holding your hand, your fingers have to be intertwined too. he claims it's better than doing it any other way. you know this. you know how much better he feels whenever you hold his hand in yours. and so you try to do it as much as possible as well. he's grateful for that, if you didn't know. it makes him feel as if you're fulfilling your promise to always be there for him.

the first time he walked in on you doing skincare, he was intrigued to say the least. sure, he knew about it, and how it helps make you feel and look better, but he never actually got to learning hoe to do it for himself. and so ever since that day, atsumu always joined you when he sees you doing your skincare routine in the evening if he wasn't able to do it with you in the morning. he thought, now, he'd actually look like the better twin. (alright babes whatever helps you sleep at night<3) and on rare nights, he was the one who initiated doing the activity with you.

movie nights are a common occurrence between the two of you. but it's not the movie nights wherein you're laying down in the comfort of your own bed with each other and watching the film on a laptop that was propped up in front of you. nope. atsumu preferred to take you to the actual cinemas. especially those with the 3d experiences of the movies. he loves the thrill and extra excitement, yk.

he also loves to take you to places where the view is absolutely stunning. whether it's a perfect view of the sunset, or the city lights beautifully gleaming from afar. atsumu actually savors these moments with you. the two of you basking in the comfortable silence between the both of you, knowing of how each other's company alone makes you feel a whole lot better.

there was one time atsumu was complaining to you about how osamu and rintaro were teasing him again about his twin being the better one between the two of them. you continued to listen, despite not exactly knowing what to answer to his outbursts. that was until he stopped and looked like he was thinking of something. deeply, that is. he had his index finger tapping on his chin and all. you looked at him, trying to figure out what he was thinking of so deeply that it made him stop his rant. he looked at you then told you to follow him to the kitchen. on the way there, he started explaining what he was planning on doing. "I bet they only keep saying samu's the better twin 'cause he can cook or whatever. I'll prove them wrong! I can cook too, and you'll be ma' witness, babe". and so of course, that was exactly what he did. at the same time making dinner for the both of you along the way. all while you were taking pictures and short clips of him cooking because he " needed the proof to shove it to rintaro and his twin's faces". once he was done, it didn't even taste half bad. it wasn't the best, of course, but he made it with love and effort and that was what's important.

he's the guy to obnoxiously wrap his arms around you whenever it's possible. there was this one time that he was away for a family trip and when you visited their home once he got back, he immediately jumped on you, wrapping both his arms and legs around you once he opened the door and saw you were on the other side. it was a surprise the both of you didn't fall over straight away. but after a few more second of atsumu just staying there unmoving, he eventually fell to his bottom with you on top of him. "I guess you really did fall for me after all, huh angel" you instantly pushed him away when he began cackling. him saying that with a smug smirk on his face made it a whole lot worse. you love him for that, though.

like keiji, eita is a gentleman at heart. he's also the type to bring you small gifts to give you on your weekly dates. whether it be flowers, your favorite snack and candy, or a small plush toy. and while he's on his way to pick you up, he takes a picture of himself with the gist he's going to give you, sending it to you saying "I'm on my way, sweets, excited to see you already"

if you know how to play an instrument, then that's great! it only means that you and eita have more interests to share and you could jam together on late afternoons you have nothing better to do. but if you don't, that's fine as well, darling! if you'd like, he would absolutely be willing to teach you how to play guitar. but if you didn't, you'd instead be with eita in the room doing your own thing and being gorgeous while he practices. he doesn't mind, of course. he doesn't feel pressured of any sort. instead, he actually feels more relaxed and comfortable with you there.

I feel like he's the type to have a polaroid camera and love to take pictures on it with you. or, he would print your pictures in the style of a polaroid. he says it adds to that romantic feel of the memories the two of you make together. and that it would be easier to display around the things that he owns, like in his wallet, at the back of his phone, or just stuck to the wall beside his bed. for his favorite pictures of the both of you, he prints out two copies so that he could gift one to you.

when the two of you are on the train together on what you're assuming is going to be a long ride, you end up listening to music together one way or another. both of you always bring your earphones with you, but on the rare occasions only one of you did, you share. opting to play the one of the playlists the both of you made together, or one of the playlists you made for each other.

there was one time where you went to the mall with eita, satori, and wakatoshi. the other third years unfortunately not being available for the day. when you entered a music store and after a while of browsing around, satori called you and eita over. when you got to him, he handed you a record saying you should recreate it but with both of your faces hiding behind it. eita was reluctant at first, thinking that you might look like idiots to people that passed by but you liked the idea. you ended up doing it anyway, with satori taking the picture for you. even wakatoshi admitted that the two of you looked cute together in it.

When you first signed up to be the manager for the boy's volleyball team, you really didn't think much of it. You only signed up because your parents wanted you to go to some sort of after school club.

You didn't like any of the clubs so you decided to be a manager for a sports team. Besides, you didn't think a manager would have to do much since most of the organisation for matches would be done by the teachers and coaches.

So here you are on your first day being introduced to the boys in the team.

Inarizaki

You stood before them with a deadpan face on.

"Hey, I'm Y/n L/n and I'll be your manager from today onwards."

They boys bowed and said their greetings but you still felt like some of them were looking at you funny. So you looked at one, he had bleached yellow hair. (Atsumu Miya)

"What?"

He tilted his head up and looked down at you suspiciously.

"Are you the Y/n L/n who got into a fight with Hiroto Ito a week ago?"

"Yeah, why? You looking for a fight too?"

Another boy came forward, he was slightly shorter but still a few inches taller than you with with black spikes for hair that went upwards. (Michinari Akagi)

"It was about time someone put that guy in his place. He was actually really annoying, would never let us practice in peace."

To your surprise, this boys were actually pretty nice to you and as you watched them practice you saw the passion they had for the sport.

Almost made you feel guilty for signing up for this role when you knew nothing about Volleyball.

You would hand out water bottles and towels during their breaks and tried your best to memories their names. Took you a few days to do that though.

Over the next few weeks, you ended up growing fond of the team and the team members which lead you to put more effort in your role as the manager.

You would take notes about each player, their strengths and weaknesses and you took time out of your day to learn the rules for volleyball. You didn't even realise when but your passion for the sport grew and grew.

Soon even the team members saw the improvement in you and grew fond of you as their manager. They hadn't ever had one before you and you were already setting their standard for a manager pretty high.

Soon you would even tease and joke around with them.

Their coach loved having you around for practice since the boys were actually kinda scared of you whenever they would mess up and made them try their very best each practice.

There was a time where they had a competition to go to where there would be a few other schools' volleyball teams attending too. It was your first match that you would be attending with them as their manager. Since it was your first, you didn't actually know how big the team's cheer squad was, which surprised you a bit when you first saw. There was also a crowd everywhere you went so it made it hard to move and get from one place to another.

However, around 15 minutes before matches you realised that Kita was missing for more than 10 minutes. The team can't play without their captain present. So you went to go quickly find him. After a few minutes you found him about to enter the changing rooms.

"Where were you? The team was waiting for you." You asked him.

"I had my phone on me and I was going to put it in a locker before the matches start." He put his phone up to show you. Before you or him could say anymore, someone from the crowd passing by with a hooded face snachted his phone and ran.

"Go back to the team. Go!" You pushed him in the direction to the entrance of the sports hall and then ran after the hooded face.

The guy ran down the streets and into an ally way which lead to a dead end. He turned around you saw that he was wearing a mask as well.

"Heh, what's a little girl like you gonna do huh?" The guy's voice came out a little muffled from his mask.

"A lot."

Safe to say you managed to beat his ass with the new moves your uncles had taught you. Though you did get a few scratches on your face and knuckles but you got Kita's phone back and the hooded guy seemed pretty beat up.

Running back to the competition, you just hoped Kita hadn't worried too much to mess up his performance. By the time you got back and made it to the coaches side, you saw that your team was already playing their first match.

At some point, Kita met your eyes and you gave him a toothy grin and a thumbs up while holding his phone in your other hand. He smiled back before focusing back on the game.

When they had a break in between the match, you handed out water bottles. When you gave one to Kita, he saw the scratches on your face.

"Did you get into a fight?"

"No, drink your water and don't worry, you're phone is in perfect condition."

"You got hurt though." When he said that, a few of the other team members turned around to check on you.

"Damn miss manager, you really shouldn't be kicking ass while your team is out here playing a match." Atsumu teased. He didn't know you chased a guy down an ally who stole his captain's phone.

"You know you should be careful or she might just kick your ass Atsumu." Osamu told him, sending you a smile before him and his brother began to bicker.

You shooed them all away once the break was over while rolling your eyes at their teasing remarks.

You had a small smile as you watched them play and you felt like this wouldn't be the first time you would get into a fight for them but you really couldn't care. They can repay you by getting first place.

Shiratorizawa

"I'm Y/n L/n and I'll be your manager from today forwards."

You were there at every practice they had, they would see you taking notes and giving out water bottles. You learned all their names and positions within 3 days. You were doing everything one would expect a manager to do and you would do it flawlessly.

Which actually surprised them since you were known throughout the school to get into fights with other students both in your school and from other schools.

However, not long since you began being their manager, you once came to practice late with some bruises on your hands and a rather sour mood.

Tendo asked you about it but you just shooed him away to practice more, even hitting him with your clipboard.

Another time, you came to practice with your hair a bit messy and a busted lip that had been poorly treated. Though luckily that time the coach wasn't there to report it to another teacher and Eita Semi and Kenjiro Shirabu dragged you to the infirmary to get it treated properly.

Once, you came to practice after a fight which you personally found very easy to finish. You didn't get any big, obvious injuries so to the other team members, they thought you hadn't came back from a fight and continued practice like usual.

But the captain knew otherwise. When he came over to the side to get a drink he walked over to you.

"So, who did you fight with today?"

"Huh, how did you know?"

"I'm an excellent observer."

"Uhh sure, well it wasn't anything too bad. So don't worry about me."

He chuckled.

"I'm not worried about you, I'm worried about the kid you beat up. Wonder what condition he is in right now."

"Gee captain, thanks for caring about your manager so much."

You both laughed before you fell silent.

"The bastard wouldn't quit saying nonsense about the team and starting up rumours." You told him.

"Aw, so you do care about us!" Tendo popped up on the other side of you.

"Fuck tendo! You scared me, I nearly punched you."

He laughed and put an arm around you.

"You beating up guys who talk shit about us? How thoughtful of you manager."

"Tendo do you want me to beat you up with my clipboard again?"

"Hehe, it's like we have our own personal bodyguard."

You smacked him with your clipboard.

"ow! Okay, okay, I'll stop. Gonna go practice some more. Talk to ya later miss bodyguard- I mean manager."

"Tendo!"

The other team members looked over at you and Tendo and were either laughing or sighing. "Looks like he is gonna get his ass beat again."

"He really should stop riling her up, she is actually kinda scary."

"Yeah but tendo is another breed, he isn't afraid."

SEMI EITA

Pre timeskip Semi is more the guy to be asked out than do the asking out. Not in an 'he's got a bunch of fans clammering to do so, so he'll hvae his pick and say yes sort of way.' but more 'he's caught up doing his own thing so he doesn't think to ask people out' way.

He's a kind and caring person despite puting up a more indifferent front. Most of his time and effort goes into volleyball and his teammates. (despite them driving him a little nuts)

So you've got to have the Audacity™ to approach him, flirt and ask him out. And believe me he really finds that attractive. Loves a take charge in the moment, can take care of him back sort of person.

Needs someone to keep him on his toes and keep things interesting - someone a little unpredictable.

Timeskip Semi has a little more confidence in pursuing a romantic side of his life and is more of a flirt. He flirts with most people he finds attractive but he doesn't just ask anyone out. Waits to see if there's the right vibe - doesn't like just dating to date.

So let's say you asked him out. Your First Date would be something you planned during free time, likely during the weekend.

If you ask Semi what he would like to do he would be very diplomatic, letting you have control since you asked but voice 'something casual might be nice.' or offer up going to a food place.

Totally the kind of person to put your own preferences over his own, especially for the first date. To be honest, he's not really up to scratch on what the hot spots are for dates other than food places. Cafes right? That's where he would probably choose.

Ironically, with his teammates, if they were ever to get dates or romantic partners they would come to Semi for advice and he'd have perfect advice. Where to go, what to do, what to say, how to help them realise their feelings. But when it comes to him? Suddenly all that knowledge is lost. What knoweldge?

On the date itself he's a little jittery - though it's hard to tell unless you know him well. Taps his fingers a little on the table (moves to his thighs once he notices you staring at them). Tries hard not to keep flitting his eyes around and just focus on you but his mind is racing all over the place.

After you're on the date for awhile and ordered food he settles down and relaxes. He's never had trouble making converstion and this is no different. Manages to make you laugh effortlessly. Bonus points if you can do it back.

Post timeskip Semi is in the know. He's knows the places and it's effotless to woo you (even when he's not trying). Knows all the delicious dishes, things to recommend and is a little bit more relaxed.

Flirting comes naturally to him. Hes' nervous but plays it off smoothly. Knows how to keep his fingers occupied on his glass, feeling the condensation of his drink slide against them.

His first kiss is something that would happen after a few dates. He is patient. Patience itself. That and he's nervous as hell. He tried to do it once but was so aware of his hands shaking he bailed. Did an awkward laugh to brush it off as somethig else. Totally wasn't going in to kiss you.

Overthinks it for DAYS after that. Plans it out. Not just one plan of action to kiss you either. Plans out numerous scenarios so he's not caught off guard again. He's a cool guy. He wants to seem cool about this. Play it cool Semi.

All things go well until he's smacking his forehead against yours, cringing his nose a little as he goes in for that kiss. So much for the game plan.

You think this would dampen his resolve but its the oppostie. He takes this as his sign to just fuck everything and go for it.

Dives right in after the bumbling forehead smack and goes for your lips. It's a light kiss but with purpose. Then it's another and another.

Why didn't anyone tell him kissing felt this good? Never wants to do anything else.

Once you two are officially dating he'll find any excuse to take you somewhere private and kiss. Then it's making out. God he LOVEs making out.

He also doesn't want to be the only one initiating it to often though. That overthinking comes in. Doesn't want to come off super clingy even though he wants to permanently have his hands glued to your sides exploring. HELP HIM.

Loves a good casual arm slung around you too.

First time with Semi is born of these clingy, touching, wanting more moments.

It's not planned but it's something both of you likely have been thinking about for awhile. Each touch has been lingering longer, each kiss has been pushing deeper.

Then one day one someone asks 'can I touch you more.' There's a nod and clothes start to come off, piece by piece.

It's not a rushed process by any means but there' this sense of built of anticipation that sends a shiver up his spine.

Starts with the two of you lying beside each other, feeling each other out, exploring.

The main event - he has a thing for you being on top. Watching the way you move and grunt and push your forehead against his. He'll match your movements all the way.

- Semi huffs and accepts the walkie talkie with an eye roll. But, after the first week, pure childhood nostalgia has him in it's grips. It has him and Tendou routinely staying up till three chatting together.

He'll whip out his guitar when inspiration strikes and strum a new tune just to get everyone's reactions.

He had to use it for an emergency, he didn't have service at a party that got busted and luckily the walkie talkie worked. Reon went and got him out of there. The others were seen carrying theirs more often after that.

- Ushijima gives the team a morning announcement every day around six to tell them of the volleyball agenda.

He uses it when he can't find his phone, which happens more often than one would think, but his teammates are the only people he really needs to speak with so it works.

He doesn't converse much, but he enjoys hearing the others talk. Sometimes he lays in the dark, the walkie talkie resting on his pillow, his ear pressed against it, just listening to the comforting sound of Semi and Tendou talking until three am.

- Hayato grinned wildly when he received his, held it in the air, and cackled maniacally.

He always says the word "over" when using it and has given everyone code names. According to him, it's a crime not to do so.

He's constantly telling them puns he thought up and laughing afterwards without pause.

He is the resident gossip and information hub, many a conversation from him is started with "Guys! Guys! You'll never guess what just happened!"

- Reon tapes the button down around seven so they can all listen to his new morning mix together as he gets ready for the day.

He's known for trying out new restaurants on the fly so he'll shoot a quick message out to see if any of them want to join an impromptu meal with him.

Sometimes he leaves the volume up too loud, it can get really embarrassing, especially when Hayato says his puns and cackles like a hyena over the line.

Reon always wishes everyone a good night.

- Goshiki is excited, but he doesn't want to seem childish. It's only after Ushijima accepts his with a nod that he lets the stars fill his eyes as Tendou hands him one as well.

Semi doesn't know, but sometimes Goshiki will make up song lyrics for his tunes.

His first year friends are quite jealous that he has a direct line to Ushijima through a walkie talkie.

Goshiki loves his so much that he made a special spot for it on his bed side table and covered the back in stickers.

He even named it.

- Kawanishi leaves his off for the first three days before he gets an idea. His teammates aren't aware, but Kawanishi is amazing at impersonations. He strategically uses this ability to pull pranks on the others as he perfectly copies their voices.

Shirabu and him also use it for studying when they don't want to leave their dorm rooms. But they use a private channel. They aren't sure why they use it instead of their phones, but neither is willing to ask the question first.

He would never in person, but alone in his room he laughs hysterically at Hayato's puns and Tendou's ridiculous stories.

- Shirabu thinks its stupid. At first he just diligently listened to Ushijima's announcements. He started listening to Reon's morning mix. Then he learned that he felt less drained studying with Kawanishi this way. Now he actively absorbs all of Hayatos juciy gossip and always pauses if he can to fully focus on Semi's music. He even finds himself listening to Tendou and Semi talk till late into the night as well.

Shirabu ends up loving the damn thing. He really hates whoever is impersonating him though.

He's one hundred percent sure it's Tendou.

Eighty year old Shirabu finds the walkie talkie in a box in his attic.

generally just LOVES being around you. likes to sit beside you at lunch even if it cuts down his lunch time to go find your class. always uses studying or homework as an excuse to spend extra time with you. calls even when your both busy or having a rough day and won’t say anything but just be there in silent support. will always FaceTime when he isnt with you and before a game. studying with you is one of his favorite pastimes, and he’s typically more productive during it as he always ends up thinking of what you guys could do together afterwards making him work quickly. like I said, just generally loves hanging out with you, no matter what, when, where, why, or how. he’s down.

your built in best friend, whether it be teasing oikawa at lunch together, gaming on the weekends, or taking naps together after practice he is all for it. will take any and every excuse to hang out with you. he has to run an errand? suddenly a two person job. you came over to study? well that was exhausting so now you both just have to take a nap and YIKES that took a long time so I guess you need to stay for dinner too. will then walk you back home after. he’s both super low key about it and not, literally loves having you around. makes long days spent together seem like an accident due to bad planning, but it’s actually the opposite which you figure out quickly after the sixth time it’s happened.

you're sitting on a couch backstage at some dingy club where his band is performing at. he's giving you the sweetest kisses even if you can taste the alcohol on his breath, it's worth it when he's giving you all his attention.

but his stupid drummer pops in to tell him that they're on in five and semi has to reluctantly has to pull you off his lap. "it's a quick gig, babe," he assures with a much-too-quick kiss to your lips.

"noooo, eita. gimme another kiss," you make grabby hands at him but he just shakes his head.

"we both know that if i give you another kiss, i'm not gonna stop." it's true but that doesn't mean it's fair. semi says it's a quick gig but the crowd is always falling for him—you can't blame them, it's so easy to fall in love with him. they'll ask for just "one more song" and before you know it the band has been playing for three hours.
