Snippets. 🐺💜
The Game Informer article approximately covered the first 4 hours of the game. [source]
--
Twitter user: "Please please please let me make a feminine shaped body with no chest, begging for non-binary to be something I can present not just a pronoun slap" Saira: "this will be entirely possible with the body sliders!" [source]
--
''the characters you don’t romance WILL romance each other which can showcase different straight and queer relationships.'' [source] (So it's not only Harding/Taash, but more companion-companion pairings will be possible, and these will be diverse? ^^)
--
the game will have Brazilian Portuguese subtitles [source].
the community Council, which had long-term fans of the series on it, also had folks on it who had never played a DA game before [source] (this is good! a good mix)
another detail was that they ranged in age from 20s-40s, unfortunately I can't recall the source for this rn but yea.
"Last names are based on your faction. You can customize your first name, however." [source: the BioWare Discord]
"In-world - Rook is a nickname you're given before the events of the game, and it's what everyone refers to you as. It allows for other characters to refer to you in dialogue without awkwardly having to write around not having a defined title, while still allowing for name customization." Also, in the game, it is explained why we got the nickname Rook in the past. [source: the BioWare Discord]
"There are specific lines and dialogue options for different lineages, as well as different backgrounds, and classes, including at least a handful that are unique to lineage/background combinations. No specifics but we wanted to make sure the game felt reactive to the choices you made in creating your Rook." [source: the BioWare Discord] (lineage as in: human, elf, dwarf, qunari)
A user asked whether elven Rook is Dalish or City. Answer: "It'll depend on your background. As mentioned previously, certain lineages will have variations of that background that go into more detail where appropriate." [source: the BioWare Discord]
"Every faction is, ultimately, made up of people. Some good, some bad, and some trying (and failing) to do their best. So it's fair to say that different people in the world might have a different perspective on how the various factions fit in and what they're trying to do." [source: the BioWare Discord]
"Without getting into spoiler territory - Rook's a hero because they chose to be, not because they were chosen. Your choice of background fills in some of the details - and you get opportunities to define it further - but some things we leave up to you to fill in." [source: the BioWare Discord]
A user asked "In what capacity is the Inquisitor going to return? Can we expect something similar to Hawke’s return in Inquisition?" Answer: "This one you'll just have to wait and see as this is well into serious spoiler territory. But more generally, as I said in the Q&A - the Inquisitor's been part of this story all along, and it would be very strange for them to suddenly fall out of it."
"Much of what would have been abilities or “spells” in the past are now accessed in real-time from the core buttons on the controller! Mana Shield, Mage Beam, Bolts, Magical Blasts, Orb Toss, and Elemental Bomb. Not to mention the elemental types change depending on your weapon. It very much feels like casting spells, but don’t just take my word for it. I’m excited to show more Mage gameplay as we get closer to launch." [source] There will be quick buttons on the keyboard for PC people too. [source]
The Veil Ranger spec can be built around charged ranged attacks, lightning damage, and stagger [source]
Many builds are possible in the game and this is highly variable with gear and companion-set up [source]
At some point this summer, they will be showing more of the skill trees [source]
The music score has variation, flourishes, and great tavern songs [source]
Corinne: "everyone at EA has been incredible in their support for the game and commitment to quality. Hopefully we’ll have a chance to do it [Discord Q&A] again. In the meantime I watch the Discord comments fairly regularly, even if I don’t respond often." [source]
A user asked about cameos of previous characters. "Seeing the surprise appearances for the first time is half the fun! There are some good ones, but I’ll leave the discoveries to you all" [source]
On a post of the table team gathering picture - Corinne: "The moments where you gather the whole team like this are some of my favorites." [source]
When Solas shot Bianca during the prologue during SGF, "Some of the journalists in the live demo audibly gasped!" [source]
In combat there are primers and detonators [source]
Lots of beloved elements from previous DA games inspired the combat of DA:TV [source]

Stucky Historical Fiction: Mini Bang 2025
Tumblr media
I’m so excited to finally share the schedule for Stucky Historical Fiction’s very first bang! 🏛️✨
A huge thank you to everyone who filled out the interest form—it was incredibly helpful in shaping the event. While we’re still not 100% sure we’ll be able to pull off a full bang (depending on artist participation), we’re going to do our absolute best!
And no matter what happens, everyone who signs up will still receive a custom fanfiction cover, just like in previous years.
Also! Since we’re drawing a bit of inspiration from Thunderbolts (and older, possibly grumpier Bucky), we’re opening the door to time travel for the first time ever in this event! ⏳
That means you can bring modern or post-canon characters into historical settings or pull historical versions forward in time—whatever suits your story. Just make sure history still plays a big role in the fic!
DATES TO KNOW
Sign-Ups Open: May 2
Sign-Ups Close: May 16
Join Our Discord (required to participate): by May 17
Prompt Suggestions Open: May 2–May 20
Brainstorming & First Writer Check-In (idea summary or WIP snippets): May 20–June 10
Claims Open (for artists to claim summaries): June 15
Claims Close: June 19 (optional, gives you a day to finalize)
Teams Announced: June 20
Artist First Check-In (basic idea, vibe, or rough concept): June 30 (alongside writers)
Custom Fanfic Cover Collaboration (Writers will be contacted by a mod to create a fanfic cover based on their summary!): July 1–July 31
Final Art Due: July 31
Posting Begins: August 15
You can check out our previous runs here. And join our Discord!
RULES
❌ DON’Ts
To keep this event respectful, fun, and inclusive for everyone, please do not:
Include incest or explicit underage content in your story or artwork.
Set your story/art in a fantasy kingdom or world that isn’t based on actual history or mythology (historical fantasy based on real time periods is okay!).
✅ This Year Only Exceptions:
Time travel is allowed!
Modern-day settings are also permitted—as long as they include a historical connection (e.g., time travel, flashbacks, or historical research as a plot element).
✅ DOs
Your work should:
Be complete by the final draft deadline.
Be beta read before posting (we'll help you find one if you need!).
Be informed by historical context, events, or figures—some research is encouraged, but remember, it’s fanfiction, not a thesis. Do your best and have fun!
Be respectful of the cultures, histories, and mythologies you’re engaging with.
Meet the minimum word count of 5,000 words. You’re more than welcome to write beyond the 5,000-word minimum if you’re feeling inspired—we’ve always loved long fics! But please don’t stress. Whether it’s 5k or 50k, do what’s realistic and fun for you.
For artists: submit at least one complete piece tied to a story or the event.
🏺 Acceptable Time Periods:
We welcome stories and art set in any of the following timeframes:
Prehistoric
Ancient Civilizations (Egypt, Greece, Rome, etc.)
Viking Age
Medieval Era
English History (Tudor, Regency, Victorian, etc.)
American History (Revolutionary War, Civil War, etc.)
World Wars I & II
1920s – 1990s
Cold War
Modern Day (only for this event!)
💬 Community Expectations
Hey @everyone — we know you're here because you love history and stories just as much as we do. We encourage thoughtful discussion and debate—but let’s keep it respectful.
History and mythology often carry deep personal and cultural significance. Everyone brings their own perspective and background, and that’s something we want to honor.
It’s okay to share your opinion.
It’s okay to disagree respectfully.
It’s okay to interpret history or myth differently.
Please remember: we’re here to tell stories and have fun doing it. Keep conversations kind, inclusive, and open-minded. There’s room for everyone at this table.
💙 With love, —The @mods

Omg you have no idea how excited I am for the new George fic, a NOVEL!?! You spoil us, you truly do. May I please see the tiniest of snippets? Don't wanna ask for too much !!
Yeah, it's so wild to consider that I wrote a novel in a week, but a short novel (or a novella) is 40k and the fic is 50k in total lmao. Because once I started writing these characters, I couldn't stop. Also, I have even started working on a companion piece for this fic with ideas that I wanted to use but couldn't find a place for in the main fic. So... I might be releasing two fics in this verse. Who knows. I am just soooo obsessed with this George x Slytherin Reader dynamic
NOW POSTED - Part One of the fic is now posted <3
(and if you are reading this after April 2025, Part Two may be posted as well and it might already be complete. it's a two part fic)
I'm Not Angry (Anymore) - George Weasley x Fem!Slytherin!Reader (Enemies to Lovers) - FANFIC PREVIEW
Tumblr media
Warnings: There's not much in the way of warnings for this small section, but the fuller fic will have more emotions, more elements of angst - including themes of blood purity, family betrayal, and all the themes that come with the war times in Harry Potter (death, torture, killing people due to personal prejudice); the longer version of the fic will also have smut - a lot of it. This section only has some descriptions of slightly creepy masks, the horrors of working in retail, and Fred being rude toward the reader character being her back. Also, the reader character goes by she/her pronouns, but most of the pronouns used throughout the fic will be you/yours.
Word Count: 1,700
If you want to see the full fic when it comes out in a few weeks, go over to my writing blog @sundrop-writes and follow me there (but it will be reblogged to this blog as well, so you can follow me here if you want to)
...
“Um, excuse me, Miss?”
You were distracted away from your work when someone called for your attention - you had been opening and unpacking a new box of Screaming Yo-Yos, but you put that aside for now. You looked up and put on your best (rather fake) customer service smile, the shelf in front of you still half empty, only halfway done as you abandoned it to help the customer.
You rose up from your back-aching kneeling position on the floor and wiped your hands on your apron - an ugly, obnoxiously bright orange one with the Weasley W on the chest, your uniform. A bit of public embarrassment to go along with the forced nicety that you had to participate in while doing the job. You straightened yourself to better speak to the person - a woman in her forties who most definitely wasn’t the regular clientele for the shop.
“Yes?” You said, your voice bright in a very forced way, your fake smile continuing to beam toward her as she responded with a grin.
“My son absolutely loves this sort of stuff, and I was wondering if this would be a good gift for his birthday?” She asked, gesturing toward a large fireworks display behind her.
Your eyes wandered toward the obligatory ‘must be at least sixteen years old to purchase’ sign that the twins had put on the fireworks display. One that Hermione had been down their throats about adding after multiple of her first and second year students had nearly taken fingers off from lighting the fireworks and then holding onto them as they exploded, despite the clear instructions on the packaging.
“How old is your son?” You asked, trying to sound politely curious rather than cautious. You knew better than to scare away a potential customer.
“He’s ten. About to turn eleven. I wanted to get him something for his big day.” She said, clearly beaming with pride.
“Those are a bit, uh… advanced.” You said, choosing your words very carefully. “I think I know something much better for someone his age.”
You put a gentle hand on her shoulder and guided her over to a section of products that the twins had recently come out with - animal themed masks with animated, moving features that made genuine, loud animal sounds when the wearer put them on. They were a big hit with younger kids, especially for sneaking up behind people and scaring them with a loud sound. Even if you found the display to be loud and annoying, you did have to admit that it was adorable to see smaller kids put the masks on and get so excited to become their favourite animal.
“Morph-O-Masks.” You said, motioning toward the display with an outstretched, showy arm that felt far too familiar of your red-haired bosses. They were rubbing off on you in a painfully obvious way. “They make genuine animal sounds, have moving tongues and ears, and we just released a Hungarian Horntail-”
“Oh my little Gareth would love this one,”
The woman said, clearly excited, picking up the classic lion mask with the large, furry mane and the mouth that opened wide to let out a loud, realistic roar.
“He’s been hoping to get into Gryffindor, just like his father. I didn’t go to Hogwarts myself. I’m American, you see, so I went to Salem. But I moved here when my Walter proposed. And we had sweet little Gareth a few months later. Fat little baby, he was-”
“That is our best seller,” You commented with a nod, trying to gently cut off the woman’s rambling.
“Thank you so much, dear.” The woman thanked you, and much to your internal annoyance - she then pulled you in for a tight hug.
You rolled your eyes sharply over her shoulder, your fake smile dropping into a harsh scowl where she couldn’t see, and you were simply thankful when the hug lasted no more than a three count (because you most definitely were counting in your head). When she pulled away, you directed her to the cash register where Fred was waiting and got back to stocking the yo-yos.
Your thankfulness quickly ended the moment you turned around and found the other twin waiting for you. George was lingering behind you, a shit-eating grin plastered across his face.
“‘That’s our best seller’,” He repeated your words, mocking you in a girlish tone that did not at all sound like you.
“Shut up,” You griped, rolling your eyes again, shoving your hands sharply into the pockets of your apron in order to resist the urge to hit him. You had to force yourself to remember that it wasn’t your school days anymore, and you couldn’t afford to lose your job as much as you could afford to lose a few house points over your petty squabbling.
“No, really, that was great.” He continued on, still grinning with an intense satisfaction - it made you want to slap him. Not because you didn’t like to see him smiling, but because it felt like he was mocking you. “You’re finally settling into the job now, eh?”
“It’s work,” You shrugged, eager to end the conversation.
You attempted to move around him to get back to unpacking the yo-yos - but with the isles cramped so tightly together and with his body so stupidly broad, he easily blocked your way as he leaned in closer, forcing you to take a step back as he moved to grab something off the Morph-O-Mask display.
You hated that you caught a whiff of his cologne along the way, during the moment that you were a bit too close to him as he moved toward the display and you couldn’t move away fast enough. The scent was far too strong, a cedarwood and lavender that you hated, and even so, his hard day’s work was causing the slightest bit of sweat to seep through - it was truly awful.
(That’s what you told yourself, anyway.)
“I see you still haven’t sold any of the serpents yet.” He chimed, holding up a scaly bright green serpent mask from the display. “If this was a house war, I would say that Gryffindor is winning,”
You knew that it was no coincidence that the original line of masks had consisted of a golden yellow lion, a green serpent, a bronze eagle, and a black and white badger (one that let out a very terrifying snarl and had rather creepy beady red eyes - that was the reason you hadn’t sold many of those, not due to any lack of loyalty from Hufflepuffs). It wasn’t your fault that kids were more attracted to the ones that came in the secondary release - different types of dragons, a spider with snapping fangs and dozens of eyes, even the black cat that purred and flicked its ears sold out more often than the serpent.
“Did you consider the inherent bias?” You posed, tilting your head at him. “This is a shop owned by two Gryffindors, therefore you are bound to have more Gryffindor customers - especially due to the bias of your grassroots marketing back at Hogwarts, which only took place primarily within Gryffindor Tower,”
George’s face knit with intense thought as you explained this, and you were glad that for once, he was pensive and taking in your words, rather than cutting you off with some kind of joke.
“And even unconsciously, you put more care and thought into the design of the lion mask, so it did turn out to be the best one,” You hated to admit it, but it was true.
Between the quality of the fur and the intense beauty of the eyes - the way it raised its mouth and let out the deep intimidating roar - it was beautiful.
“And it’s the one you have used primarily for marketing,” You pointed to the front window, where the lion mask was on a stand advertising the new product. “It’s like you set up the serpent to fail. And then you blame it on a poor stock girl for not shilling it hard enough,”
You ground intense sarcasm into your final words, taking the green mask from his hands and tossing it back onto the shelf with the others, finally skirting around him as he stood there shocked into silence. He was genuinely impressed by the amount of thought you had put into it. He finally snapped out of his shock by the time you had knelt back down beside the box of yo-yos, continuing to neatly stock the shelf with them.
“Well, perhaps next time we should consult a Slytherin for further research and development,” He said, giving you a grin.
“Let me know when you find one who’s willing to donate her time,” You replied, brisk and cool, grabbing the finally empty cardboard box from the yo-yos and shuffling back to the storage room, thankful to have an excuse to finally flee away from George and escape the conversation.
You were behind the thick wood of the storage room door by the time that George wandered over to the front counter.
“That was smooth.” Fred breathed out, entirely sarcastic.
“Oi, that was the longest we’ve ever gone without her insulting me. I am making progress.” George replied.
“Yeah, at this point, you’ll be going on your first date in your fifties and be married by the time I have grandchildren,” Fred joked.
“You don’t even know if Angelina wants kids,” George prodded, eager to navigate around the subject of his pathetic crush.
“Yeah, but at least I know she wants me. At least I’m not hung up on some stone cold Slytherin bit-”
“Hey!” George chastised, knowing that he would have easily hurled that kind of language at you during your school days, understanding why Fred rolled his eyes. “Maybe I like cold.”
“Then go stick your cock in the ice box,” Fred sighed. “Maybe it’ll help you get over this nonsense so you can actually pick someone who’s good for you.”
George didn’t say anything further, not daring to voice the words to a brother who just couldn’t understand. There was no one else for him, no one else who lived in his heart - no one else but you.
...
NOTE - This is just a small preview of a longer fic that will come out later. If you want to see the full fic when it comes out, go and follow my writing blog, or follow me here, as I will reblog the fic here when it's posed.

Yandere Vulkan Snippet
TW: yandere, collaring, nsfw: dub/non-con elements, masturbation, somnophilia
Follow on from: Yandere Vulkan Headcannons
When he enters his quarters it’s already far later than he’d like, having spent long hours slogging through paperwork and Imperial administration keeping him from spending the evening with you as he’d planned.
Even so, the sight of you curled up on your side looking oh so tiny compared to his massive bed has him instantly at ease.
Your face is smoothed out in sleep, looking utterly relaxed in a swaddle of the finest fabrics being a primarch afforded him. Lips perfectly parted as you slumber, unaware of the giant mountain of a man quietly inching his way closer to you, finally lowering himself onto the bed next to you.
The bed dips dramatically, despite being custom made for a primarch, and you slide towards him slightly, blankets shifting around you. Still, you don’t wake - too deep in sleep for the movement to bother you.
After a long moment to ensure you’re still sleeping and settled he gently cards his fingers through your hair, softly stroking your head, his fingers occasionally grazing over your face to caress your lips and cheeks.
His reward is a soft sigh and your unconscious nuzzling towards the gentle warmth he provides, and he can feel the tension bleeding from his own body as he pets you. Your subconscious response betrays you to him - you’re never so keen while awake.
If not for the cue expressions you make and how adorable you are while pottering about day to day he might like to keep you asleep like this forever. Soft, safe, compliant.
His fingers trail downwards, peeling the plush blanket you’d cocooned yourself in to expose your neck and shoulders. He takes a long second to drink in the sight, clavicle and soft skin exposed to him, and your neck, oh your neck.
So small, fragile, breakable - your neck scared him somewhat, but he couldn’t deny the growing warmth in his abdomen as he played with his latest gift to you, the collar.
Thick and chemically strengthened leather dyed a deep green, adorned with golden decorations and clasp, with his legion’s symbol proudly hanging as a charm at the base of your throat.
Designed to be impossible for you to take off yourself and fitted with two trackers, a heart rate monitor and audio recording to boot - not that you knew about the extra features.
He hated how upset you’d been with it at first, your cries almost cracking his resolve, but he needed to ensure you were safe, that he could keep track of you, that he could check on you at a moment’s notice even while planetside.
But he wasn’t heartless, of course, he compromised with you, starting off with it loosely clasped, plenty of wiggle room, and then slowly tightening it until it was skin tight. You were distraught every time it was tightened of course, but it was nothing like the hysterics you were in when he first put it on how he’d intended.
You’d gotten used to it eventually, and it had put him at ease to be able to check on you when his possessiveness flared up.
He lets the pendant charm drop back against your throat, opting to turn his attention elsewhere, lower and lower as he slips his hand beneath the blanket rather than remove it and risk waking you.
His other hand comes to remove the armour around his groin, letting it drop against the floor with a muffled thud. How glad he was to have redone the floors with a thick carpet for you to enjoy, and to make sure it was soft if you fell of course.
His cock springs free, already at half-mast from seeing you so delicate and pliable beside him, adorned with his work and colours.
All the while, his other hand has been working your nipples tenderly, rolling and squeezing the nubs in an attempt to elicit a sleepy moan.
Once he has you moaning softly into him, he pumps himself until he’s fully erect before taking his hand off his throbbing dick and swiping his fingers inside your mouth. Once his fingers are coated in your spit he removes them, using it as lubricant for his cock.
It doesn’t take long for him to get close to finishing, he’s been on edge all day just thinking about you, and now that he has his fingers splayed over your stomach, saliva on his cock and scent filling his nose it doesn’t take much to have him twitching and leaking, close to getting off.
He finishes into his hand, cum spilling over as he pumps out boiling hot spurts. He wipes most of it off with a bedside rag he’ll burn before you ever see, but he can’t resist using your sleeping mouth to clean off the excess left behind.
What you don’t know won’t hurt you and he deserves a treat for looking after you so well, keeping you so safe.
Subconsciously his grip has tightened around your waist, fingers digging into the soft flesh. He releases his hold softly, hoping it won’t bruise and give anything away - he’d hate to have you nervous or begin to suspect about his nighttime activities.
Soon, soon.
Soon there won’t be a need to relieve himself like this, you’re slowly getting happier, understanding more and more why he keeps you like this.
Soon you’ll let him do this while awake without flinching or crying or being generally upset with him.
For you? He can wait.

“FEY: A Guide to Fairies of the Butch Variety” themes (Text version)🐸
This book will explore butch fairies, arranged into six differently themed sections. Below are descriptions of these themes, as well as a number of example concepts that might fall under them! You can choose one of the examples we’ve provided, or come up with something yourself - as long as you run it by the mods to approve!
We will be choosing five (5) artists and one (1) writer per theme - one (1) artist to illustrate the ‘title spread’, and four (4) to illustrate the ‘guides’ within. The writer will be asked to provide snippets, comments, short poems, and descriptions to intersperse with spot illustrations on the ‘guide’ pages.
🌱 Garden Fairies
Garden fairies thrive in the world’s backyards - they can be plant-themed, critter-themed, and insect-themed. Large or palm-size, they tend to their surroundings with care and good spirit, and are often brightly colored, eye-catching things. This is your ‘Seelie’ group, for a real-world folklore equivalent.
Example concepts:
A fairy taming a grasshopper steed
A petal-winged rose fairy sleeping in a flower bud
A butterfly fairy collecting nectar
🏡 House Fairies
House fairies reside in and around the home. They are usually small, hiding from humans in nooks and crannies and forgotten places - and will get stuck between the couch cushions. They come out when the coast is clear to make mischief: rearranging trinkets, pilfering snacks, turning up the corners of carpets - all heinous behavior!
Their own dwellings are not to be trifled with, however. They’re of the utmost coziness, warm and safe and full of . . . ‘collected’ goods . . .
Example concepts:
A fairy facing off against a housecat
A fairy in their little home surrounded by myriad stolen trinkets
Fairies scheming to throw something nasty in a human’s stew
🕸️ Dark Fairies
Dark fairies dwell in the domains of shadow - in fairytales with unhappy endings, in childrens’ nightmares, under the surface both figuratively and literally speaking. They rejoice in sowing discord and causing mayhem, and shun the light. These are your ‘Unseelie’ equivalents.
Example concepts:
A murderous moth fairy poised to strike
A hag-like fairy offering a bargain one can’t refuse
A gaggle of tooth fairies
👑 Courtly Fairies
Courtly fairies are those who spend most of their time between lavish palace walls, voluntarily or otherwise. Towering spires, silkspun sheets, all wreathed in swirling gold filigree - a fairy court makes itself known for miles around. Most other fairies consider them the least carefree, though every once in a while a monarch does crop up who rules the land with wild abandon, whipping all fairykind into a frenzy for a decade or fifty.
As an aside: dark fairies enjoy courtly fairies as particular targets for their curses, twisting their beauty and opulence into ironic reflections.
Example concepts:
A cursed fairy monarch chained to their throne
A rogue fairy prince on the run
A fairy knight in beetle armor
🌆 City Fairies
City fairies have bid the splendors of the fey adieu for the neon-splashed fast lanes of a human metropolis. Usually, they try to (more or less) blend in, bask in humans’ energy, break their hearts and leave them wondering how you do that thing you do. Little city fairies exist, too, trying their best not to get crushed underfoot as they go about their busy lives!
Example concepts:
A raver fairy stealing the show in a color-soaked warehouse
A mundane-looking fairy creating otherworldly pastries with the help of some friends
A fairy guardian of some public property
🔥 Wyld Fairies
Wyld fairies are closest in essence to magic itself, to nature and those primordial forces they let flow through them: the elements. They eschew court-made laws, borders, customs, and causes, simply forging their own paths through life with little consideration of worldly issues. They are bright like fire, deep as water, free as the wind.
Example concepts:
A fairy fire dancer
A seahorse (or, ‘kelpie’) herding underwater-fairy
A fairy exploring the edge of the upper atmosphere

Wip Week/Weekend
I was tagged by @puppy-steve I literally don't know how I forgot to do this, but I forgot. So here we are, lol
I've got quite a few WIPs, and still have an ask or two to answer (which I will be doing, I will not forget). But I can share a little snippet from an inbox prompt that I'm working on <3
This one's about Eddie being one of those street poets who writes poems for people willing to pay him. Steve happens to be one of those customers and I am very excited about this one. This is a no Upside Down/no supernatural elements AU, so very much so is not canon compliant.
📝—————————📝 He’s tall—probably around Eddie’s height, 5’11”. Pretty fit—his arms are toned and his hands are large and he’s broad on the shoulders, but he’s not bean pole thin like Eddie is, just a little chunkier. And, Eddie’ll never admit this out loud, but the dude’s got a great ass, perfectly squeezed in by a pair of Levi’s—light wash, edging on skinny, but not entirely form-fitting. His polo is a darling yellow ochre; rich and warm and perfect to his skin tone.
He doesn’t know what kind of poem he’ll write for this guy, but fuck him, he just wants to wax on and on about this literal slice of heaven that’s standing over him. Smiling. Hands clasped together in front of him. His bright, sunshine eyes. And…yeah, that’s a word to describe this guy.
Sunshine.
📝——————————📝
No pressure tags (and also, yes absolutely WIP things can wait until this weekend, I am just bored right now lol):
@ataliagold @hotluncheddie @scoops-aboy86 @pearynice @sidekick-hero
@queenie-ofthe-void and anybody else that I didn't tag who'd like to, my brain is a bowl of slowly melting butter.

WIP Whenever
thank you for tagging me @bby-bel-art <3
tags for: @darkurgetrash @lemonsrosesandlavender @faerie-with-a-knife if you wanna <3
here's a lil snippet from the next chapter of yksu, tav and raphael visit the counting house. things don't go according to plan. and credit to @darkurgetrash , slade, general screaming in the server, a seething ****, and soulja boy for raphael's undercover name.
while the plot in my head gets darker and darker for this fic, the writing gets sillier and sillier.
(this is very unedited)
The sun sits high in the sky as they leave the house, the air lies unusually still, not even a soft breeze to save them from the unforgiving heat. Embarrassing as it is, Raphael is sweating copious amounts, his thin shirt sticks to his body uncomfortably, a drop of sweat runs down his eyebrow and he mutters a curse as he wipes it off with the back of his hand.
He glances at the little mouse, not a single drop of sweat to be seen on her freckled cheeks. In fact, she seems completely unbothered by the raging sun. He can’t help but shoot her an angry glare, which she also seems completely unbothered by.
Not even the thick stone walls of the Counting House seem to protect them from the natural elements. The foyer reeks of the sweaty bodies of the awaiting customers. Raphael does not dare to think about how much of it is coming from him.
The little mouse walks over to the clerk with confident steps, and Raphael follows suit.
The clerk’s face lights up when he spots her.
“Miss Tavanthuriel!” he says. “Our honoured customer, are you here to make a deposit or a withdrawal?”
“Thank you, Meadhoney.” The little mouse smiles sweetly, almost a bit too sweetly to seem completely genuine. “Neither actually, I’m here for him.”
The clerk looks past the little mouse’s shoulder onto Raphael and the look on his face quickly turns serious with a hint of confusion.
“Oh, Mr Applebottom, we haven’t seen you or your associate around in some time.”
The little mouse shoots him a curious look at the fake name, Raphael can’t do more than shrug, the name being under Korilla’s domain.
“Are you here to make a deposit or a withdrawal?” the clerk asks.
“I need to access my safe. My business is my own,” Raphael says.
“Of course,” the clerk says quickly. “Do you have your bank pass and your key?”
The question shouldn’t baffle Raphael as much as it does but he quickly gathers himself.
“It seems I have left the key and the bank pass in my home in Cormyr. Of course, that shouldn’t be a problem.”
“Of course not,” the clerk says, eyes narrowing. “I’ll just need you to fill in the required paperwork and have someone vouch for your identity. I assume that’s why Miss Tavanthuriel has accompanied you today.”
“Clearly,” Raphael mutters and the little mouse looks way too amused for his liking.
“Of course, I’ll vouch for Mr Applebottom,” the little mouse declares confidently.
“Excellent, just fill in these and come back to me,” the clerk says and hands him a form.
While Raphael appreciates the art of proper paperwork, he wouldn’t call this proper in any way. Many of the questions are things he left in Korilla’s hands, such as “How much gold does the vault contain?” and some are just purely irrelevant, such as “Are you or a close relative a person in a politically vulnerable position?”.

❓ for a headcanon of the receiver's choice: feminism
to put it very simply, tay is the most tradwife non-tradwife to ever tradwife. she's a terrible feminist, in the sense that for her feminism mostly begins and ends with other people. there are certain things (au-wise) she won't budge on: she works— she could never let someone else provide everything; household bills are a 50/50 split— again, that's the guilt complex. unsurprisingly, they're finance-related! growing up, she didn't have a lot of money and whilst she doesn't have any real reason to worry about it now, she refuses to take it for granted. those are quite literally her only redeeming elements where modern feminism is concerned, and they aren't much to do with it. strike one!
now, tay used to liken herself to an independent #girlboss. she was making her own money, sure. but in the customer service industry... i shall say no more. for a period of time, she swore off love, slept with who she wanted, when she wanted. she was the pinnacle of men can do it; why can't i? there are things that disprove her girlbossery in her affectionately named tinder-era, in particular that being that she quickly relented to the desires of her sexual partners (primarily men during this time; her relationship/sexual dynamic with women differs⋆). of course, there's an element of people-pleasing— that's just how she is. but there's also an element of enjoying being controlled, and with a male partner majority, yikes. strike two!
as for being independent... 💀 she can be, and she is in certain aspects— financially, literally just financially, and i've made that point already. tay is quite reliant on other people, and by other people, i mean men and by that i mean klaus. and she likes it! big no-no for modern feminism. (this is also applicable to hybrid verse, where she isn't just reliant but indebted eternally. you can imagine how that looks.) strike three!
in relationships (or "relationships" for klaus-related inclusion) with men, she can be very traditional. obviously, this is dependent on their worldview and their skillset. tay is not a good cook; she doesn't belong in the kitchen. but! she'll insist on doing the rest, the clean-up is hers, as is the responsibility of fixing a drink afterwards. the menial chores, as well, she views as her responsibility. she won't always refuse the offer of help, but know that she feels bad for it afterwards. she feels safe around most men, she seeks the comfort of men, she loves the safety that most men provide. she's an all-around man-enjoyer.
most controversially, despite it not being her reality, tay would very much enjoy being controlled by a long-term partner. when it comes to how, there are obvious exceptions to this; she would still like to work (the crowd boos), but that would be her only condition. it isn't a fantasy she'd share. she doesn't often talk about the things she wants, and above that, it's not realistic. but it's still there! she allows herself snippets of it— asking that she be told what to wear, asking to be ordered for at a restaurant, asking for permission to go out (it comes across more-so as do you need me here). you get the picture. she likes possession, she likes dominance. she'd love more of it.
⋆ quite simply, tay would not receive any satisfaction from a woman treating her in this way. strike four, i think!
as i said, her feminism begins and ends with other people. tay, to other women: do as i say, not as i do! and that is to say, if other women behaved as she did, she'd encourage the opposite. she's a hypocrite, and not so naïve that she thinks how she feels is right. she wants better for every woman out there, just leave her out of it.

How Can You Create a Personalized Sound Experience Using Customizable DJ Controllers?
Personalization has become a defining trend in modern DJing, with customizable DJ controllers enabling artists to develop their signature sound and streamline their workflow. These innovative tools allow DJs to tailor their setups to fit their unique style and performance preferences, transforming a traditional set into a highly personalized experience. Here's how you can harness customizable DJ controllers to create a sound experience that's uniquely yours.
1. Understanding Customizable DJ Controllers
Customizable DJ controllers are devices that allow users to adjust key functionalities, such as button mapping, pad assignments, and effects control. Unlike traditional controllers with fixed layouts, these offer flexibility to adapt their configurations, empowering DJs to craft a setup that complements their music style and techniques. Whether you’re a beat-heavy hip-hop DJ or an EDM artist focusing on smooth transitions, these controllers can help you achieve precision and creativity.
Tumblr media
2. Customizing Layouts for Efficiency
One of the biggest advantages of customizable controllers is the ability to remap buttons and knobs to match your workflow. Most modern controllers come with dedicated software that lets you:
Reassign Hot Cues and Effects Pads: Map your most-used effects and samples to accessible buttons for quicker triggering.
Create Layered Controls: Set up secondary functions for knobs and buttons to maximize functionality without cluttering the interface.
Optimize for One-Handed Operation: Map essential controls closer together, perfect for DJs who want to multitask during a live set.
By tailoring the layout, you can reduce the time spent searching for controls and focus more on the music.
3. Exploring Customizable Sound Effects
Custom effects are a game-changer for crafting a unique sonic identity. Many controllers allow you to integrate third-party plugins or tweak built-in effects like delays, filters, and reverb. Here’s how you can make the most of this feature:
Layer Effects Creatively: Combine echo and reverb for atmospheric transitions or use distortion with a phaser for grittier drops.
Adjust Parameters on the Fly: Customize effect depth, rate, and resonance to suit your track's mood in real time.
Save Presets: Many controllers let you save your favorite effect combinations, making it easy to recall them during performances.
These tweaks give your sound a distinct character, setting you apart from other DJs.
4. Utilizing MIDI Mapping
MIDI mapping is at the heart of controller customization. It enables DJs to assign software functions to hardware controls, providing limitless creative possibilities. For instance:
Control Lighting with Your Controller: Synchronize lighting effects with your music for an immersive audiovisual experience.
Add Unique Sampling Features: Assign unconventional sounds, like ambient textures or vocal snippets, to your pads for unexpected transitions.
Use Multiple Layers: Set up different MIDI layers to manage decks, effects, and samples simultaneously.
Mastering MIDI mapping can dramatically enhance your live performance and workflow.
Tumblr media
5. Integrating Visuals and Additional Gear
Modern DJ controllers often support integration with other equipment like samplers, synthesizers, or visual systems. By linking your controller to these devices, you can:
Sync Visual Effects: Use your controller to trigger visuals that match your music, creating a cohesive sensory experience.
Incorporate Live Instruments: Map inputs for synthesizers or drum machines to blend live elements into your set.
Expand Your Sound Palette: Add external sound processors or effects racks for greater sonic diversity.
Such integrations open doors to more experimental and captivating performances.
6. Advanced Features for Personalized Performances
High-end customizable DJ controllers come equipped with advanced features to elevate your sound:
Key Syncing: Match the harmonic keys of different tracks to ensure seamless transitions.
Dynamic EQs: Adjust frequency bands interactively for on-the-fly sound shaping.
Custom Loop Settings: Set loop lengths that align with your style, such as long ambient loops or rapid 4-beat repetitions.
Learning these advanced tools will not only improve your technical skills but also refine your artistry.

Customizable DJ controllers are more than just tools—they’re a canvas for your creativity. To truly personalize your sound:
Experiment with Unconventional Techniques: Use pitch bends creatively, mix genres, or introduce unpredictable elements like silence for dramatic effect.
Record and Review: Listen to your sets and analyze what works to refine your customizations.
Stay Updated: Regularly explore new software updates and hardware integrations to keep your setup fresh and innovative.
Over time, these practices will help you build a signature sound that resonates with audiences.
8. The Role of Customizable Controllers in Modern DJ Culture
As DJing continues to evolve, the emphasis on personalization is becoming central to the craft. Customizable controllers empower DJs to break free from traditional molds and experiment with new techniques. This shift is not just about technology but about redefining how music is performed and experienced.
Customizable DJ controllers are a gateway to unlimited creativity. They allow you to tailor your equipment to your needs, transforming your performances into unique experiences that captivate your audience. To ensure you’re investing in the right tools, it’s important to source your equipment from professional and reputable audio shops like VIP PRO AUDIO, where quality and expertise are guaranteed.

8. Social and Community Features
Live Chat: Provide a feature for users to chat with customer support or engage with other traders in a community setting.
News Feed: Integrate crypto news from trusted sources to keep users updated with the latest market-moving events.
9. Light and Dark Mode
Themes: Offer both light and dark mode to cater to users who trade at different times of day. The dark mode is especially important for night traders to reduce eye strain.
10. Settings and Customization
Personalization Options: Allow users to choose preferred currencies, set trading limits, and configure alerts based on their personal preferences.
Language and Regional Settings: Provide multilingual support and regional settings for global users.
Visual Design Considerations
Modern, Minimalist Design: A clean, minimal UI is essential for avoiding clutter, especially when dealing with complex data like market trends and charts.
Color Scheme: Use a professional color palette with accents for call-to-action buttons. Green and red are typically used for indicating gains and losses, respectively.
Animations & Micro-interactions: Subtle animations can enhance the experience by providing feedback on button presses or transitions between screens. However, keep these minimal to avoid slowing down performance.
Conclusion
Designing a crypto trading mobile app requires focusing on accessibility, performance, and security. By blending these elements with a modern, intuitive interface and robust features, your app can empower users to navigate the fast-paced world of crypto trading with confidence and ease.

Boost Your Website's Traffic Like a Pro
The Ultimate Guide to SEO: Boost Your Website's Traffic Like a Pro
So, you've heard about SEO but aren't quite sure what it is or how it works? Don't worry, you're not alone! SEO, or Search Engine Optimization, is like the secret sauce of the internet, and mastering it can take your website from crickets to buzzing with visitors. Let’s dive in and break it down, shall we?
What is SEO Anyway?
SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. It's all about tweaking your website to make it more appealing to search engines like Google, Bing, and Yahoo. When these search engines love your site, they rank it higher in search results, making it easier for people to find you.
Think of search engines as librarians. When someone asks for information on "best pizza in town," the search engine (librarian) wants to deliver the most relevant, useful, and trustworthy information. SEO is how you convince the librarian that your pizza joint deserves to be at the top of the list.
Why Should You Care About SEO?
Imagine having the best pizza in town but your shop is hidden in a dark alley with no signs. Not great for business, right? That’s what it’s like to have a website without SEO. You could have amazing content, products, or services, but without good SEO, you’re essentially invisible online.
By optimizing your site, you:
Increase Visibility: More people find your website.
Boost Credibility: Higher rankings make you look more trustworthy.
Drive Traffic: More visitors mean more potential customers.
The Basics of SEO: On-Page vs. Off-Page
SEO can be split into two main categories: on-page and off-page.
On-Page SEO
This is everything you do directly on your website to improve its ranking. Here are some key elements:
Keywords: These are the words and phrases people type into search engines. Using the right keywords in your content is crucial.
Content Quality: Your content should be engaging, informative, and valuable. Think blog posts, articles, videos, and infographics.
Meta Tags: These are snippets of text that describe your page's content. They don’t appear on the page itself but in the page's code. Examples include meta titles and meta descriptions.
URL Structure: Clean, readable URLs help search engines understand your page content. For example, "yourwebsite.com/best-pizza-recipes" is better than "yourwebsite.com/12345".
Off-Page SEO
This involves activities that happen outside your website to boost its ranking. The most important aspects include:
Backlinks: These are links from other websites to yours. High-quality backlinks act as votes of confidence.
Social Signals: Likes, shares, and comments on social media can influence your rankings.
Guest Blogging: Writing articles for other websites can drive traffic back to yours and improve your SEO.
SEO Best Practices
Now that you know the basics, let’s talk about some best practices to ensure you’re on the right track.
Research Keywords
Before you start writing, research what your audience is searching for. Tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, or SEMrush can help you find the right keywords.
Optimize Your Content
Once you have your keywords, sprinkle them naturally throughout your content. Don’t overdo it though—keyword stuffing can hurt your rankings. Aim for a natural flow and focus on creating valuable content for your readers.
Improve Page Speed
A slow website can frustrate visitors and hurt your rankings. Use tools like Google PageSpeed Insights to check your site’s speed and get tips on how to improve it.
Mobile-Friendliness
With more people browsing on their phones, having a mobile-friendly website is a must. Ensure your site looks and works great on all devices.
Build Quality Backlinks
Focus on getting backlinks from reputable sites in your industry. You can do this by creating high-quality content that others want to link to, or by reaching out to other site owners and influencers.
Keep Up with SEO Trends
SEO isn’t a one-time thing. Search engines are always updating their algorithms, so staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices is crucial. Follow SEO blogs, join forums, and consider taking online courses to keep your skills sharp.
Final Thoughts
SEO might seem daunting at first, but with a bit of effort and the right strategies, you can master it. Remember, it’s all about making your website more user-friendly, informative, and trustworthy. So start optimizing and watch your traffic soar!
