Do you have many canon ships in your AU?

Canon is kinda tricky mate. Canon means I actually have a solid story to reference. And uhh… a lot of the information I have about my AU is just scattered in my brain. I do have a document to scribble down my thoughts into but I still have so much more than just that and it’s basically just a mess. So for the purposes of this ask, I’m just gonna assume that what you mean by canon is the ships I’m most sure of.

So do I have any? Kind of, not really. I’m a multishipper, so I fluctuate between different ships quite a lot.

Sometimes I ship polyboys with all 3, sometimes it’s just Vinnil or even Sepper. Sometimes Zoe x Digby is appealing, other times I’m in a Pepper x Zoe mood. I frickin’ adore Pomela x Shahrukh, but Shahrukh x Sunil is also super cool.

BUT! I do have a few things I’m sure of, at least.

ReddSprinkles, for one. It’s kind of hard for me to imagine either of them with any other characters other than each other. Human AU or otherwise.

There’s also Genghis x Tootsie, which, y’know. But I barely talk about them anyway (unless it’s Tootsie in Hazy Summers) so.

I guess there’s also the pre-established marriages. Like my Eliza x Fisher (the Biskit parents) are still happily together. There’s Roger x Betty (RIP).

But I guess that’s mostly it.

“Darling you need to look perfect for the church picnic Sunday,” said your mother as she was tending to your half curled hair

“Mother why can’t I wear my hair down for once?” You asked, the pain from the ribbons on your head was intolerable

“Honey beauty is pain, you just always look your best everywhere we go,” scolded your mother “now I’m almost done with the measurements just, stay still,”

You rolled your eyes s as you looked outside, when you did you saw Anne and Diana playing

“Mother, why can’t I play with Anne?” You asked “she seems like a nice girl,”

“She’s an orphan that’s why,” said your mother “and young ladies don’t hang out with orphans,”

You were walking beside Billy Andrews on the way to school. You who didn’t like the boy had to refuse

“Because my parents were thinking about asking your family if they would like to accompany us,” said Billy, trying his every ounce to impress you. You turned around

“Josie, if Y/N doesn’t like my brother, then it’s fine.” said Jane “Besides I heard that the new girl is joining us in two weeks for school.” 

‘Really? well we must make her feel welcomed.” you said as you smiled 

“Please, why would you want to hang out with an orphan? I heard that orphans have asylum cooties.” said Josie 

“Josie!” said Diana “Anne may be an orphan, but she has a family now, we all should be happy for her.” 

“Yeah Josie, Have some sympathy.” you said as you took a bite of your bread

Currently you were at the Cuthbert's house. After the disappearance of Anne, you forced your parents and siblings to help keep Marilla under control, of course your mother wasn’t thrilled. 

“Ms Cuthbert, I hate to be rude but we must be going, we’ll be back tomorrow.” at that your mother turned around 

“well if you’re leaving, I'm staying.” 

“Y/N you will not do a such thing.” 

“Yeah but look at Ms Cuthbert.” you said as you pointed to her “She is in the depths of despair and you want to leave?” 

“The kids got a point.” said Mrs Lynde who was also at the Cuthbert house

“My child will not be fraternizing with an orphan, now be a lady and follow me Y/N.” 

“No I will not follow you!” you said “I’m staying here till Anne gets back, Mother, Anne is my friend, I can’t abandoned her in a time like this.” 

“Fine but your finding you own way back home.” 

“Don’t worry, I’ll bring her back home.” smiled Mrs Lynde

“No they didn’t.” said Anne 

You gave Anne a big hug before releasing 

“I better get home before Mother has a cow.”

“Yes, my daughter is quite they beautiful child isn’t she?” gushed your mother, it was the day of the church Picnic and you were standing next to your mother wearing a Baby Pink dress with white lace coming off the sleeves. 

“She is indeed, any man would be lucky to have her.” said Eliza Barry as she was talking with your mother 

“I don’t like this cookie.” said the youngest Barry Minnie May 

“Well then don’t eat it.” said Eliza 

“There’s Anne, lets go say hi Y/N.” said Diana as she grabbed your hand pulling you with her but you were stopped by Eliza Barry 

“Girls not today.” 

“I heard that she was attending school with us.” said the youngest Andrew Jane 

“Oh my what awful red hair she’s got.” said The oldest Andrew Prissy as she looked at her sister 

“It awful that she doesn’t have a family.” 

After hearing all these nasty words, you saw Anne break down into tears before she ran off, with Marilla following behind her

I feel like people need to realize eliza x blythe AND shuri x blythe are both canon and valid ships. Even though shuri might make you uncomfortable, you have to acknowledge him and blythe did have something, and writing it off in your fanfics as some abusive relationship she just ‘gets over’ is really narrow minded.  I’m not saying you have to read shuri x blythe fics if you don’t wish to, but you can’t bash people for it or say it’s “less canon” than eliza x blythe. I’d argue it’s more canon, really, as with eliza x blythe it seems a tad one sided at the moment.

Hm, my idea is no. They look more like a Brotp, at least to me. Some reasoning of mine include: - Despite only being a three year age difference, Eichi is an adult while Elizabete is still a minor - Elizabete’s feelings towards Blythe But anyway, my reasoning shouldn’t really stop you guys from shipping. I don’t exactly have any problem with (most of) them.

Sorting the awae characters into Hogwarts Houses

Because I’m trash and I have opinions

❤️Gryffindor❤️

Anne Shirley Cuthburt- Anne is a Gryffindor! She’s brave and and chivalrous. She fights for whats right! I see a lot of people putting her in Ravenclaw, and yes she is very smart. However Anne is very much someone who acts before she thinks, which is definitely more Gryffindor.

Minnie May Berry- this child went up to a criminal and kicked him! I also feel like she’s going to end up being a rebellious teenager (even more so then Diana because she won’t lie about it) as she has no care for propriety. Big Gryffindor vibes

Moody Spurgeon- I feel like Moody’s a Neville Longbottom type character. It’s doesn’t seem like he would be a Gryffindor, hes a bit of an underdog and expected to be In Hufflepuff, but the sorting hat (in this case me) sees how brave he is.

Philippa Gordon- she may not be in awae, but she’s still one of my favorite characters in the series (kinda mad she won’t be brought to screen). I feel like if you’ve read the books you understand why I put her here.

Mary Lacroix- she is just so strong and powerful! Like she raised a child on her own, I mean really can’t get more brave then that. Also look at how she treated bash when she first met him, she takes no shit!

Winifred Rose- women of her financial status often didn’t work. Winifred was obviously very smart and academically focused (I imagine her family life was a bit like Diana’s and she had to fight for her position at Dr. Wards)

Diana Berry- look at my bby girl! Fighting for her education! She just wants to learn! Also blue is her color.

Ka’kwet- another icon who just wanted to go to school. I mean because people are awful it didn’t work out, but she is such a bright girl.

Murial Stacy- I don’t think I have to explain this one.

John Blythe- we don’t really know that much about him but he was reading Walt Whitman on hes death bed.

💛Hufflepuff💛

Gilbert Blythe- I feel like Gilbert could have been a Slytherin or a Ravenclaw, but I put him in Hufflepuff for 3 reasons. 1. He is definitely honest and loyal. He defends his friends and family constantly. 2. He is very hardworking. I think that he had a Slytherin momment when he considered going the easy way by marrying Winifred for his ambitions, but he ended up going agianst it for his heart (a Hufflepuff move) 3. I’m a Hufflepuff and I’m selfish. He would look so cute in yellow though!

Cole Mackenzie- Hufflepuff artist boy, need I say more

Mathew Cuthbert- I mean i think it’s obvious...

Marilla Cuthbert- she values loyalty and hard work a lot. Also I think the Cuthberts were probably a majority Hufflepuff family.

Ruby Gillis- literal baby. Agian, no explanation needed

Bash Lacroix- he loves his family so much! He’s got such a big heart and works so hard!

Thomas Lynde- we don’t really know much about him, but he seems nice and really just lets Rachel do all the talking. (Also Rachel’s a Slytherin and Hufflepuff x Slytherin is really hecking cute)

💚Slytherin💚

Josephine Barry- I have this theory that the Barry’s are an old Slytherin family. Everyone in the family has been sorted into sytherin untill Diana and Minnie May. Ms. Barry is definitely a queen and I think she’s very ambitious. She really takes no shit.

Mr&Mrs Andrews- I think the Andrews are another old Slytherin family where everyone’s been put in that house for generations.

Billy Andrews- 1. He’s an Andrews 2. He’s cunning, ambitious and a little bitch (also he is very mean, but we don’t support negative Slytherin stereotypes in this household.)

Prissy Andrews- ok I was so close to putting this queen in Ravenclaw. However in the first two seasons she did bend to the will of her family. I think she would be someone who asked to be in Slytherin even though the hat saw her Ravenclaw potential. Also her standing up to her father and asking for her dowery? I could definitely see a Slytherin doing that. (Although once she marries Winnie and they raise 2 kids who are both put into Ravenclaw. She disowns herself from Slytherin and only supports 1 quidditch team)

Eliza Barry- very into whats proper and whats not. Probably came from an old family and met her future husband at school

William Barry- man definitely gives of Slytherin vibes. Also is a Barry.

Rachel Lynde- I don’t think this one needs an explanation

Josie Pye- I mean just look at her motives for doing things and I think you can understand (agian I’m not trying to put the villains in Slytherin because of negative stereotypes. I just do think she’s a Slytherin)

Jane Andrews- she may be a lesbian, but she is also an Andrews and therefore a sytherin

Nathanial- this guy was in Slytherin before he was kicked out of hogwarts.

Mr. Dunlop- my theory here is that Nathaniel kinda manipulated him into doing his evil plan. They both kinda bonded over the fact that the wizarding world had disowned them.

We Only Part to Meet Again; Farewell Unity Days

It’s been a wild three years, but this past January, the first “The 100” convention in North America had its final curtain call. Featuring an astonishing seventeen guests the (all too-short) weekend was jam-packed with fun and laughs. Created by Miah Bannerman and Leana Santos and held at The Pinnacle Harbor Hotel on Vancouver’s beautiful waterfront, there was palpable excitement in the atmosphere all three days. For many, this was their first opportunity to meet some of their favorite actors in person, for others, an opportunity to reconnect with friends both old and new, for all, an amazingly good time. 

Returning to moderate the panels for Unity Days final year was Jo Garfein, co-founder of Cancer Gets Lost (CGL) and host extraordinaire. Moderating isn’t an easy task, but Jo managed to make it look like one, effortlessly handling fan questions and doing her best to pry a few Season 7 secrets from the zipped lips of the cast (the Spoiler Police never sleep). This year, Unity Days had a whopping ten (10!) panels, the first of which was the CommUNITY Panel on Friday night, which highlighted on the generosity of The 100 fandom and offered fandom a deeper look into Eliza Taylor’s Koh Tao Primary School (co-founded with Claire Wyndham) in Thailand. The documentary created by Pat Cotter (Eliza’s brother) was shown (and is also available on Koh Tao’s website here). Jo was also given the opportunity to talk about CGL’s fundraising efforts and more information was made available about other ways to support Koh Tao, including sponsoring a child. It was a great way to begin the weekend, but this was far from the last time we’d talk about charity at this convention. 

The Saturday Welcome Panel (ft. Eliza Taylor, Bob Morley, Sara Thompson, Tasya Teles, Lola Flanery). Although, as noted above, no pressing details were dropped about the upcoming final season, the panel was still a great way to start the day. We did learn that the Season 7 looks promise to be exciting (and Bob Morley has been rocking a clean-shaven face after years of fandom debate over the merits of “The Beard”, so I’d hazard a guess and say they’re right on that.), we learned that Lindsey Morgan filmed an episode in lieu of Eliza this season for medical reasons Bob had yet to direct his episode (at the time of the panel) and that, after the loss of Abby, Clarke is no longer struggling with her friends. After a few quick fan questions, fans and actors leave the panel to grab autographs, enjoy meet and greets and take pictures. 

The Bonus Guest Panel (ft. Chelsey Reist, Jarod Joseph, Chuku Modu, Jessica Harmon, JR Bourne, Richard Harmon, Tati Gabrielle, Lee Majdoub, Shannon Kook, and Shelby Flannery). So many guests and not nearly enough time. This panel opened up with a quick celebration for Tati Gabrielle, the talented actress (not just a spiritual advisor on The 100, but also a badass witch on The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) turned 24 this year! There’s a quick introduction and then we jump right into the questions. There are questions about Miller and Jackson (Mackson are apparently “still there”), moments that defined characters (for Gabriel (Chuku Modu) letting go of Josephine, for Richard (Murphy) meeting Emori), before we once again parted ways. 

The Sanctum Panel (ft. Chuku Modu, Sara Thompson, JR Bourne,  and Shelby Flannery) did manage to give us a few new bits of information about what is perhaps the largest unknown still remaining on the show: Sanctum and its people. Again we are told the costumes are going to be something to look forward to this year (Chuku), we’ll learn more about Hope’s markings and what they mean in relation to the anomaly and that Russell will need to figure out where he fits in now that his family and his way of life, has been destroyed. 

Finally, in perhaps what is my favorite moment of the convention this year, the Saturday Closing Panel. After discussing their favorite fan moments, JR Bourne, an avid supporter of The Grace Rose Foundation (which supports efforts to find a cure for cystic fibrosis), announced that he had a Season 7 “The 100” crew jacket up for auction, with proceeds benefiting the foundation, but soon decided to donate all proceeds to support disaster relief efforts in Australia . After an intense bidding war (something The 100 fandom might soon become famous for after a similar event at Conageddon 2 just last year), the jacket went to Megan for $3,700 dollars. Encouraged by the generosity, JR manages to find another jacket and secures a promise from Tara (the 2nd place bidder) for $3,600 dollars. In just 15 minutes, over $7,000 USD was raised to help Australia and it was an amazing reminder of the basic goodness of humanity. 

The last day of the last Unity Days was a bit slower and maybe that’s because time knew it needed to give people time to savor this experience for the last time. Sunday’s guests were Lindsay Morgan, Tasya Teles, Sachin Sahel, Richard Harmon, Luisa d’Oliveira, Chelsey Reist, JR Bourne, Chuku Modu, Jarod Joseph, Jessica Harmon, Shannon Kook, Tati Gabrielle, Lee Majdoub, Blythe Ann Johnson, and Shelby Flannery. Both the Welcome Panel and The Bonus Guest panel were, unfortunately, hampered by the fact that guests weren’t able to share much about the current season, what that meant was, that for guests who were present on Saturday, there wasn’t much that they could add that was new. Despite that, the cast were naturally very charming which helped to create an overall joy. Unity Days has always been more about the joy of being together 

Sunday was a big first for me, personally. It was the first time that I was invited to speak on a panel for my work. Myself, Yana Grebenyuk, Shanon Mizikoski and Gabriela Orsini were all featured on The Reviewer’s Panel (which Yana also moderated). It was wonderful to be able to sit and chat with some wonderful people about our favorite (and sometimes least favorite) aspects of this show we’ve all loved for so long. I even shed a tear or two! Unity Days was the first fan convention I ever attended, so to end the convention as a panelist was amazing to me. I am grateful for the opportunity and the experience. 

The final panel of any convention is always a bit sad, and knowing that this was the final Unity Days and the last season of the show  made it that much sadder. As always, I love hearing the “describe your character in x amount of words” portion and this is what we got for Season 7:

happy bellarke fam selfie night i was tagged by @she-who-the-river-could-not-hold  last episode killed me all the parallels between bellarke and Josephine and Gabriel were mind blowing.

i can not believe i am going to say this but Josephine lighbourne grew on me damn it and i sort of ship her and Gabriel now how did that happen i blame amazing  @shialablunt Gabriel x Josephine gifsets which are amazing and you should follow her if you have not already. i can’t wait to see what this episode has in store for us as it was directed by bob Morley and i am so excited to see it and i also can not wait to see Eliza direct an episode in season 7 are we blessed or what?

it is no coincidence that there are so many similarities for the different versions of Josephine and Gabriel throughout the years compared to Bellamy and Clarke, they are both biracial couples which is rare in media these days.

Holy crap can we talk about the last scene when Clarke ‘died’ i literally felt my own heart stop along with Bellamy, bob was amazing last episode i could really feel his desperation to bring the love of his life back which gave me flashbacks to stydia in season 5 it seems i have a type. that cpr scene broke me then brought my back to life pun most definitely intended i know for a fact that when doing cpr mouth to mouth is not really necessary but the writers most definitely did that on purpose.

fingers crossed we get a confession this episode, that scene where Bellamy was bring Clarke back did he say i’m not losing her again or was i’m not losing you again because i have seen so many giffsets that either say lose her again or lose you again it’s driving me batty, anyway this will be the last 100 episode i will be able to watch, i will be on holiday this Saturday so i won’t be on tumblr as much but i will check in now and again so my selfie might not be up until i come back.

i hope we see Jordan in the episode i really want to know how he’s doing, before i forget Clarke griffin IS BACK BITCHES! and i couldn’t be happier i jasper jordan would say see you on the other side.

Happy BFSN: expectation vs reality edition.

It’s four days post Beliza wedding anoucment and I’m still reeling. I defiantly had my suspicions about them but a marriage still caught me off guard and the only thing I know for sure is that waking up in a world were Eliza and Bob are married is 100x better than not.

Once again I’m doing things like I can’t put off like I normally do with uni so I can’t watch live but I am beyond excited for this ep so I’m going to watch it as soon as possible.

Heart!bellamy with murder on his lips and heartbreak in his eyes? Sign me the fuck up!
