THEY’RE A BIG SPOON. No arguing. Case closed. They want to protect you at all costs, and feels like it’s a very vulnerable way to do it. To hold you in their arms, and to shield you from the world, letting you drift into unconsciousness in their warm embrace. There’s too many out there in this cruel world who have a target against them or their spouse. They feel they need to protect 24/7.

THEY’RE A LITTLE SPOON. They find they like to be held more than to hold. There’s just something about it, being able to come home from a hard day or simply just to fall into one’s arms and be held. To know they’re safe, and to know they’re loved. It almost feels like they can just melt into you, to become whole with the one they love the most.

Who knows.

Eastern Emerald Elysia (Elysia chlorotica), family Plakobranchidae, found along the East Coast of the United States

This creature engages in kleptoplasty, taking the chloroplasts from the algae that it eats, and using the chloroplasts for the waste products they create though photosynthesis. It's kind of a… solar powered sea slug!

These sea slugs are not nudibranchs, but are in a different group of gastropods.
