Sebagai manusia yang berkeyakinan, kita tuh gak bisa selalu mendapatkan apa yang di-mau, atau yang sesuai target-mimpi selama ini. Ada berbagai macam faktor yang berpengaruh, termasuk faktor God's sake dan ridho orangtua. Ya, itupun kalau percaya adanya Tuhan, kalo gak, ya murni dari manusia dan lingkungannya.

Aku mau A dari SD, pas dewasa dikasihnya E. Mau jadi Z dari TK, jadinya M. Dan berbagai hal meleset lainnya, yang tidaklah buruk, mungkin ini yang terbaik (?), katanya.

Aku pernah menjadikan target 4 tahun setelah SMA, itu menikah, wisuda S1 bareng suami, seperti impian para remaja rohis pada umumnya. Nyatanya? Lulus tepat waktu saja empot-empotan. Lalu aku geser target ku ke 25 tahun, tepat wisuda S2 bersama suami. Nyatanya? gak dibolehin nikah wkkwkwk. Lalu aku geser lagi ke 28 tahun, aku giat ikut SPN berharap aku bersiap maka akan datang jodohnya. Nyatanya? Bablas juga ke usia 30 tahun. Aku pun berhenti untuk membuat target nikah, kita switch target sekolah saja, lebih jelas apa yang perlu dipersiapkan dan step yang perlu dicapai.

its very much that when you conceptualize so called "abuse" without the empotional, physical, relational context; when you abstract it it becomes unimaginable, unassailable in a analytical sense. We lose the ability to think critically in a morally nuanced way. It is simply behavior that we pick apart and judge from only a perspective of moral weight nd lineage(well hes evil bc his father is obvi.)

This is bc, imo, out of context "abusive" behaviors become a manner of deliberation. We are deliberating from our removed postion so off course the perpetrator is. Cruelty, spite, and violence out of context always seem this way: premeditated, deliberated, etc.

But even more than this idea of intentionallity ppl think it difficult to do these things.

"Oh i could never betray someones trust like that."

"It aint right. i could never lay a hand in anger on my lover."

"I just am unable to yell at children like that."

The thing is when your actually inundated in the context not only could anyone do these things but most people are suprised by how easy it is.

DISCLAIMER: do not read this as insidious. The ways that violence nd cruelty come easy to people in the right context is not a moral condemnation nor any statement on human nature.

It is an easy reaction to the context your in and often it is the only thing that makes sense in that moment to that person, it is often the most feesible course of action based on circumstance nd relational history. And often these actions(and circumstances) feel exceptional to those in said context.

But ppl just hear you yelling or see you as conniving or controlling. those actions have tainted you. Your exceptional circumstance and reaction are nothing like theirs.

I guess what im saying is sometimes resoluteness can be cruelty, sometimes fairness can be spite, and sometimes panic can be violence. Which isnt to say these actions or you are condemned. Its to say you cant just categorize ppl as good and bad you have to choose what and who you want in your life and come up with the reasons yourself otherwise youll end up cutting out evry1 bc evry1 who you actually have intimacy with is gonna hurt you in sum way. And idk when ppl say your being cruel have a convo about it that isnt a court preceding by any other name.

The short answer is no. Only Kenny really learns that he's in love with hanger long after its happened and its all broken down, he wasnt a good lover. He was hurtful and controlling and his touches were cold and soulless But kenny didnt know that it wasnt him [think like how kenny was during the fued with hangman versus straight after when he was saying goodbye to the bucks and cole]

Hangman wished that Kenny loved him the way that Hangman loved Kenny but Kenny simply just cant and sure for a little hangman kinda tricked himself into thinking that Kenny did love him and then he gets what real love is from cole and its just an "oh.." moment ya know.

The bucks pick up after a coversation that kenny and hangman have when kenny finally admits his empotions that theres something a little more than friendship there but not enough to register that its romance, if anything the Bucks are kinda stuck in the middle of everything thats going on and Kennys inability to move on from the cowboy.
