As many of you know I used to work in a residential psychiatric facility as the manager for female foster youth. My own mental health took a serious toll due to the toxic work environment caused by the administration… And 3 months ago I took my own health into my hands and found another job and left. God kept me in several lives of the girls I worked with and 2 weeks ago a social worker reached out to me to see if I would take a rapid placement of one of them… Without hesitation, 4 days later, my family became hers… We went this weekend to introduce her to my dad… They had a great time and were whooped coming back. God continues to show me new and exciting paths that He has for me and I am ever so humbled and thankful.

oh darling, you are so powerful
and you don’t even realize it.
on the edges of your fingertips,
ripples a power within you
that is aching to be released.
you are creation -
creating all that lives and breathes in this world.
you are wild -
living on your own accord.
you are discomfort -
bringing men down to their knees.
you are the unknown -
yet to be discovered by those you let enter.
you are violence -
taking those that wish you pain, down into the dark depths of hell.
you are beauty -
a sight to behold.
you are chaos yet beautiful all the same.
-dark feminine

We talk about how Dany's ending in Midsommer us not a happy one. She's in a cult, they'll kill her when she gets old, she murder others.
But I don't see talk about Dany participating in the making ritual. Dany will lead young girls to mate with older men. Maybe she'll go out and recruit those men or even lonely young blond girls that lost their families. And she'll be in that room. During the mating.
Dany came from a world where grown men sleeping with 15 year old girls is considered disgusting and rape. Now she'll be encouraging it.

I do have an intsa because there’s some funny stuff on there sometimes, but I literally saw a post about how Hermione’s dress was changed from blue to pink for the movies, and the top comment with thousands of likes was from a young woman who basically said “I’m glad they made her wear a pink dress because in the books, there’s hardly ever any mention of Hermione being feminine. More strong female characters need to be girlier. I like that they made her girlier in the movies.” Thousands of likes. Top comment on the post. “I don’t like it when strong female characters in media are not hyper feminine.”

Profanity and Misogyny
"Motherfucker", "cunt" , "bitch", "Whore" etc. are words that are so commonly used in colloquial language that one almost forgets the nuance attached to them. In almost every language there exist a myriad of swear words that refer to the degradation of the female vagina. A woman's sex is seen as her badge of shame and if she has control over her it then she has become astray from the path of the virtue.
"To insult a man, you insult his woman". I remember awkwardly shuffling in my seat, getting very uncomfortable when male peers would call each other "motherfucker" or "cunts" so casually. A woman much older than them was reduced to her sex, a tool to insult their friends. My sex- the organ that I was born with- was a sign of weakness. If you are meek or a coward you are a "pussy". In my language, I could never find the word equivalent of vagina, for it was too sexualised to use in society. Before I was even old enough to understand the workings of my body, a organ that I had been born with was left redundant to its function to please a man-villified by porn.
"Fuck" is seen as an insult because men consider sex a defiling act that takes away the dignity of the woman. Another misogynistic implication is the term "deflowering"; having sex takes away her innocence. After sex, the woman is not a human to them but a "cunt". The sexual paraphernalia of a woman is associated with purity. There is such a huge emphasis that is put on the concept of virginity, because it brings control to the patriarchal society over a woman's autonomy.
The sexual liberation of 70s was brought as a rebellion to these norms- young women were groomed into thinking that sex is empowering. Hookup culture also emerged as an aftereffect of the sexual liberation. The politics of a woman's sex is argued all day while the male penis remains as a neutral organ despite having been a tool to oppress women.
Sex is a completely neutral act of pleasure that is neither degrading nor empowering. However, this statement would only exist in a vacuum. Men use sex as a form of violence upon women-rape is a political tool. For women to take back control of their sexual autonomy, they must acknowledge the politics of sex-or lack thereof. Selectively choosing whom you are having sex with is the first step.
I implore everyone to stop using degrading profanities that have misogynistic connotations. When others around me --especially men-- use these swear words, I ask them why their insults always involve a woman to be degraded and humiliated. Not acting as an accompalice to patriarchy, not keeping quiet against the patriarchal violence and spreading word against misogyny is the best silent mutiny.

I hate it that soft porn and female nudity has become a norm on every social media platform. there's not been a single time I haven't had to see that bizarre promiscuous content surrounding teenage girls having their nips and bosoms out & don't even get me started with those comment sections which is full of those porn addicts constantly thirsting over them. though the most abominable thing is seeing those young women feel empowered in their own objectification and feeding those incels with exactly what they seek from women. what they fail to understand is that the liberal feminism itself is a hoax and reeks of internalised misogyny. i mean now look where are these young girls and women really heading to? plus these female celebs in the west infuriates me even more for promoting and glorifying the use of OF. and guys.. have you seen the trending shows on netflix recently? i mean more than half of the content is about male sexual fantasies and 365 days-ish eroticas. ofc the male audience is flourishing on such platforms. so appalling and a really high time for us to actually do something about this obnoxious filth taking over the internet.

A new global gender divide is emerging (John Burn-Murdoch, Financial Times, Jan 26 2024)
"In the US, Gallup data shows that after decades where the sexes were each spread roughly equally across liberal and conservative world views, women aged 18 to 30 are now 30 percentage points more liberal than their male contemporaries.
That gap took just six years to open up.
Germany also now shows a 30-point gap between increasingly conservative young men and progressive female contemporaries, and in the UK the gap is 25 points.
In Poland last year, almost half of men aged 18-21 backed the hard-right Confederation party, compared to just a sixth of young women of the same age.
Outside the west, there are even more stark divisions.
In South Korea there is now a yawning chasm between young men and women, and it’s a similar situation in China.
In Africa, Tunisia shows the same pattern.
Notably, in every country this dramatic split is either exclusive to the younger generation or far more pronounced there than among men and women in their thirties and upwards.
The #MeToo movement was the key trigger, giving rise to fiercely feminist values among young women who felt empowered to speak out against long-running injustices.
That spark found especially dry tinder in South Korea, where gender inequality remains stark, and outright misogyny is common.
In the country’s 2022 presidential election, while older men and women voted in lockstep, young men swung heavily behind the right-wing People Power party, and young women backed the liberal Democratic party in almost equal and opposite numbers.
Korea’s is an extreme situation, but it serves as a warning to other countries of what can happen when young men and women part ways.
Its society is riven in two. Its marriage rate has plummeted, and birth rate has fallen precipitously, dropping to 0.78 births per woman in 2022, the lowest of any country in the world. (…)
It would be easy to say this is all a phase that will pass, but the ideology gaps are only growing, and data shows that people’s formative political experiences are hard to shake off.
All of this is exacerbated by the fact that the proliferation of smartphones and social media mean that young men and women now increasingly inhabit separate spaces and experience separate cultures.
Too often young people’s views are overlooked owing to their low rates of political participation, but this shift could leave ripples for generations to come, impacting far more than vote counts."
