I'm taking a bubble bath, enjoying a light thunderstorm, listening to classical music, petting my cat, and drinking a vodka Dr. Pepper cocktail from my skull cup to forget my anguished loneliness (who isnt). Tonight's bubble bath menu includes rose petals, almond honey milk bath, rose and lavender essential oils, a valentines day bath bomb (😭💀), and vanilla rose bubble bath served to me by me out of $6 plastic decanters. Ive selected candles in the flavors of vanilla tobacco, autumnal cognac and spiced apple, and spooky copal incense, because i dont care that its july 17th, its october in my heart. I'm also eating raw cookie dough right out of the container because I have lost control of my life. I'm sharing this because why is my life Erik Operaghost coded

i love seeing “hot takes” (i see especially on tiktok) of “ummm erik the operaghost isn’t a good guy! he’s not a good choice for christine!” yeah buddy congrats on being able to understand the literal core of the musical…that’s like the whole point of it all

viewing poto through a lens of the weird evergrowing “media needs to have squeaky clean morals” is doing it a massive disservice when the core of his character is trying to show the effects of ableism and societal hatred towards people who are othered and it’s reduced to “but he’s a kidnapping murderer incel who did a bad and here’s my callout post for a fictional man” is sooo weird to see
