I’ve had only a bowl of noodles today and I’m not starving. What’s wrong with me? Maybe I should go for a walk to get hungry but it’s dark outside and there might be Bad Guys
you should consume fluids i think 👍 between all the states of matter fluids are my favourite to put in my body, and sometimes when i'm not feeling hungry it's cause i haven't drank enough fluids first

hi frank. ideal way of consuming liquids?
Drinking liquids:
The best liquids are the ones that you can't make a mental distinction between and the liquids you have to drink. So, water, coffee, and tea are basically indistinguishable, and alcohol, if you can get it, should really only be enjoyed a very infrequent event. Some others aren't bad, though:
Orange juice: great! but if you have trouble drinking orange juice, you may have to get creative. (The best orange juice is probably from Stonyfield and it's pretty good, but other brands exist.)
Grapefruit juice: really good, actually. For reasons I don't understand, grapefruit makes orange juice taste more "fresh" -- I imagine grapefruit is "acidy," and when you add citrus to a drink, the acid and the fruit juice act together to balance each other out. I can't really explain this phenomenon very well, but it seems like one of the things it's for?
Sodas: salty, fizzy, kind of refreshing. (There are a whole bunch of "energy drinks" made of sodas, which I think have some benefits but also some problems)
Milk/cream: all kinds! Milk makes things taste more "rich," cream makes them taste more "delicate." The one I want to talk about is soy milk -- it has a sort of "neutral" flavor and, especially in smoothies, it just kind of blends in. But some brands have been pushing "soy-free" milk substitutes, which taste very similar to normal milk, but a bit less "neutral," and they're becoming more popular (although I'm not sure how many people actually like their flavor very much).
Sweetened non-dairy milk substitutes: tastes similar to regular non-dairy milk, but with the same "neutral" kind of taste, and can be used in place of real milk in recipes where you really want milk and don't want to get fancy. Examples: coconut, almond, oat, or soy milk. They're fine if you're trying to cut down on dairy.
Gatorade and other sports drinks: they taste like sports drinks and I don't like them that much.
Sipping:
If you want to drink something "hot," water is good. The ideal temperature is lukewarm, though -- something in between "cold" and "warm" -- and I imagine it also depends on the beverage, and what you mean by "hot."
Foods with liquid in them:
You should try all kinds of foods. I don't know what to recommend here.

moo i turned 21 last week do u have any fun funky (preferably sweet/sour) alcohol related recs? u wrote open tab i have a feeling u have Knowledge ™️
turns out i hate wine and twisted tea so far. smirnoff ice screwdrivers are kinda bearable. that is all i know
happy late birthday! i'm happy you were born!
well, first off, please drink responsibly! it's really fun to get drunk and all but make sure you're taking care of your body. always drink in moderation and be sure to drink lots of water! Open Tab is very much fiction and it's inadvisable to drink as much as they do 👍 it's okay to get drunk every once in a while, even to the point of barfing, hey go for it, but DON'T make a habit out of it. people love to downplay the seriousness of alcoholism but it is very much not good and can really fuck with your body if you don't get your consumption under control
okay now that i've done my responsible big brother PSA...
there's a lot of different types of wine, so if you've just tried one or two, don't give up! my preferred wines are cabernet sauvignon or riesling, but neither of them are especially sweet (maybe riesling). cabernet sauvignon is a red that's really full bodied, kinda black cherry-ish, while riesling is more acidic, think more green apple-ish. Both of them very much taste like Wine though so if you're looking for something that's more fruity and smooth like juice, i'd recommend a zinfandel or moscato. Sangria is also a fruitier choice 👌
for wine coolers, you can't really go wrong. Jack Daniels has several flavors in their country cocktails and every one i've tried has been pretty good. even their black jack cola, and i'm not the biggest fan of jack and coke. I'd recommend their peach one though.
Smirnoff Ice is okay but i prefer Seagrams or Mikes Hard Lemonade. Flavors I like from Seagrams are their Jamaican Me Happy, Bahama Mama, and Calypso Colada. For Mikes Hard Lemonade (or Harder if you want something higher in alcohol content), I like their mango, strawberry, and cranberry.
there's also Steel Reserve. all their flavors are pretty good but my two fave are pineapple and orange soda
if you wanna dip your toes in beer, maybe give hard ciders or apple ales a try? i used to drink Redds apple ale, specifically the Wicked apple ale, which were good but more on the sour side. Some pumpkin ciders/ales are also really good but i haven't drunk them enough to be able to recommend specific brands. i had one this past fall season that was DELICIOUS but can't remember what it was 🤔
if you're looking for some liquor, there are quite a few that are pretty sweet or sour to drink just on their own. Disaronno is SUPER tasty, sweet like candy, but it can be a bit pricey. Though it's amaretto so there's probably cheaper alternatives... i never tried them.... because i really like the Disaronno bottles... they're classy and cool.... Schnapps are a good bet for taste. I'm partial to peppermint schnapps because the crisp, cool taste disguises the sting of the alcohol whereas other flavors might not so much. Then there's the creamy stuff that's great for mixing in coffee or hot chocolate like Kahlua, Godiva liqueur, rumchata, baileys, etc.
Flavored vodka can give you sweet or sour, depending on the flavor. personally, i'm not big into it, but i liked it a lot when i first started drinking. You WILL taste the alcohol though, so if you're pretty averse to that, then you might not enjoy vodka.
if you like coconut then coconut rum is 👍
Then there's the 99 series, if you're looking for something strong. I've drunk enough 99 Bananas to fill a boat. (don't follow my example, drink responsibly, too much alcohol consumption is bad for your health okay be safe)
honestly, a good way to figure out what types of liquor you like is to buy those little mini bottles at the liquor store. just pick out a bunch of them and have a little taste testing party. you never know what you'll like! and if you don't like it, hey, at least you didn't buy a whole bottle, right?
for cocktails that you might order at a bar/restaurant, here's a few simple, classic recs for sour and sweet:
Sour: margarita, daiquiri (classic or strawberry are both good), mojito, whiskey sour, lemon drop
Sweet: white russian, sex on the beach, cosmo, mudslide, grasshopper, mai tai
well, that's all i got. everyone experiences alcohol differently, so don't worry if you don't enjoy it as much as you think you should. you don't have to like it. you don't have to drink it. don't let anybody pressure you into drinking anything you don't want to drink or MORE than you want to drink. you can have fun without it! only ugly losers with tiny smooth brains pressure people into drinking when they don't want to 😤
Stay safe, drink responsibly, have fun, don't forget to eat and stay hydrated (with water)(not more alcohol)

6 Best Stair Remover Remedies
Stubborn stains can be the worst enemy of your wardrobe. Here are some of the best stain removers that are already present in your home.
You may not know it. But you have stain-fighting supplies in your cabinets and drawers that you probably used years ago. This article explains how to get rid of stubborn stains without resorting to toxic chemicals. Our research led us to these all-natural solutions for eliminating stubborn stains.
Tumblr media
Sodium Bicarbonate or Baking Soda
Baking soda is a moderate alkaline capable of removing heavy streaks like grease, oil, gravy, and even obstinate stains, and it works wonderfully for this purpose, among its many other purposes.
White Vinegar
White vinegar may clean practically any stain without resorting to harsh chemicals. Nonetheless, it is acid based, so exercise caution when applying it to specific surfaces. When diluted with water, vinegar is an excellent stain remover; for instance, you only need a little dish washing soap, an ice cube, and vinegar to get rid of tomato-based stains.
Salt
If you’re out to dinner and accidentally spill something on yourself, you can easily erase the stain with salt, which is also easily accessible. If you’ve got any frequently used colored garments starting to look dingy, try washing them in salt water.
Lemon Juice
Although lemon juice is a great cleaning agent, especially for whites, it should be used cautiously because it can have the same qualities as bleach. However, ice cream, baby food, and particularly stubborn berry stains may all be removed with a bit of lemon juice. A berry stain may be removed by wetting the stain, applying a thick layer of lemon juice, and waiting anywhere from a few minutes to an hour. Next, finish your routine wash routine. This method of stain removal is often regarded as effective and leaves behind a pleasant, deodorizing aroma. However, you should take care that the Citric Acid doesn’t leave any permanent marks on your garment, as this might be disastrous.
Dishwashing Liquid
Dish soap may not seem like it would be efficient in removing stains, but it really works exceptionally well. Dish soap’s ability to degrade grime, grease, and other stubborn contaminants is essential for its intended use. In addition, as it dissolves oil, dish soap is ideal for eliminating grease and oil stains from clothing. The dish soap may also be used to eliminate grass stains when combined with hydrogen peroxide.
Tenderizer
You may use a meat tenderizer to get rid of stains, and it’s particularly effective on protein-based stains like body fluids. In addition, meat may be made more soft and enjoyable to chew by using a meat tenderizer, which degrades the meat’s own proteins.

I have geographic tongue. Here are some things that are painful to eat:
Tomatoes. I love them, but they hurt if I have more than, like, an ounce. If they're cooked, it takes WAYYY more for it to hurt. Dad sometimes
Potatoes. Can't eat them in any form, even cooked, unless they're very diluted. (Ex mash potatoes with butter and cream) I still do, they just hurt. Dad not really, maybe the skins sometimes
Eggplant/Aubergine. Just can't at all. Raw or cooked. I don't really like it anyway, soooo. Dad also can't eat it.
Kiwi. I can't eat more than a bite, in contrast to my father, (who has the same thing) who can eat as many as he wants. I envy him. I love kiwi.
Pineapple. More than a bite and it hurts. I love it, I still eat it anyways, even just plain. I haven't found a limit when it's cooked. When plain, adding a ton of sugar helps, but I don't do that often bc apparently I'm lazy and like pain. Dad no issue
Oranges. Honestly any citrus, but different ones are tolerated better. I love OJ and plain oranges. Just can't eat a ton. Cooked definitely helps, haven't had cooked orange in a while so I don't remember how much it helps. No clue if it hurts my dad at all. No issue for dad
Grapefruit. I like it, especially with sugar. Is still painful though. I just suffer. It's good. Grapefruit juice is the same result. Dad also likes it, no clue if it hurts him though. No problem
Strawberries. It takes A LOT of strawberries to hurt, or a couple underripe ones, the more ripe they are the less it hurts, but it's always a little painful. I love them though. None for dad
Lemon and lime. I don't eat either one often enough by itself to know for sure. I do know that it's the citric acid in citrus that causes some of the pain though. When it's candied, it hurts WAY less. Dad loves candied lemons. No issue.
Walnuts and pecans. All around painful. They also don't taste good to me. Might be the pain that makes me think that though. Even cooked they still hurt just as much. Can't even eat one without pain. Dad also can't eat them. And he doesn't like them either, for the same reason.
Almonds. I like them. Hurts to eat raw, cooked is slightly better. I still eat them though. Dad no issue.
Peanuts. I can eat them just fine, unless I eat, like a pound or something. However, peanut butter, on the other hand, takes waaay less to make it hurt. Again, I still eat it anyway. Almond and sunflower butter do the same thing. Haven't tried cashew butter. Dad can eat it just fine as far as I know, but doesn't like it.
Carrots. Regular ones are fine unless I eat a ton at once, but purple ones hurt, especially when raw. Cooked makes it better. Candied orange carrots are my favorite, like at Makoto's in FL. Dad can eat just fine as far as I know. He doesn't know.
Arugula. Pain all around. Never had it cooked, but any salad with them hurts. Honestly any spiky lettuce, or lettuce that has purple/red on it usually hurts. Dad can eat it just fine.
Raw spinach. I like it cooked, and I like it raw, but raw is quite painful to eat. Cooked makes it completely pain free. Adult raw spinach especially bothers my dad.
Horseradish. I like it in small amounts, like with sushi or in cheese, but is always painful to eat, nevermind the spiciness. Dad can eat it just fine.
Goat cheese. I like it, but not fun to eat. Not exactly painful, but very bitter. That might be a texture/autism thing though.
Starfruit. From what I remember, it hurts a bit, like with strawberries. Is still my favourite/second favourite fruit. Haven't had it in about s decade though.
Mangoes. They're painful. If I remove the skin they're less painful, and they still hurt even when cooked. I like orange peach mango juice though, but it is painful. I like the taste to a certain extent, but the pain mostly wins over that, unlike pineapple. Dad can eat it.
Anything fizzy/carbonated. The bubbles LITERALLY pop inside the cracks in my tongue. Ow. Might hurt dad? We didn't really drink a ton of soda so I'll ask. Dad can eat
Cranberries. I love them, but raw, cooked, dried or juiced they hurt. Is sadness. No clue if it hurts my dad. No issue for dad
Mint. I like mint, but it has to be cut with a lot of sugar for it not to hurt. For anyone else who can't do mint, ACT Kids has a watermelon toothpaste and a bubblegum toothpaste that both have flouride in them, making them dentist approved for adults! Dad has no issue
Cinnamon. I like cinnamon, but it is SOOOO painful. Smells and tastes good in things, bit hurts a lot. I have no clue how my dad can stand to use a cinnamon toothpaste. It must not hurt him. It doesn't
Ginger. Again, I like it, and still continue to eat it, but MAN can it hurt. I still love my Makoto's Ginger dressing though. Dad no issue
Vinegar. Of any kind. White, apple cider, balsamic, that red vinegar stuff, all extremely painful. I still eat it, because it tastes good. though I do try to avoid it. A guilty pain of mine is salt and vinegar chips. No issue for dad in small quantities
I can't think of anymore right now, so here is a list of things that help and things that make it worse.
Pepper - makes it worse by a lot. Anything on the above list + spiciness hurts waaaay more.
Salt - I'm iodine deficient + am always dehydrated 😅 so I love/crave salt, but too much hurts, and if I eat it with or after any of the above I am in a world of pain. Think of salt on an open wound.
Milk - milk almost always helps, especially because it's cold, but sometimes all it does is dull the pain for a bit. I'm lactose intolerant though, so it has to be lactose free or I'll be in a DIFFERENT world of pain 😂🫤
Water - unlike when you eat things that are spicy, water actually helps when I eat the above things. Often, it takes a few swig and swallows to clear it completely, and tends to remove flavour and leave the acid (with fruit) on the first drink, but overall it is helpful.
Juice - even juice I don't normally react to cam become painful after eating the stuff above. However, the colder it is, the less it hurts because the sugar in it cuts some of the pain, and the cold cuts more, so the combo can sometimes overcome the pain temporarily.
Avocado - if it's ripe enough, and starting to lean towards overripe, it helps. If it's not ripe enough, it is neutral or adds to the pain.
Chocolate - the milk in chocolate can help, dark chocolate can sometimes make it worse, and the sugar content in lighter chocolate can also make it worse. Honestly it's a toss up depending on the type of chocolate + the food that started it.
Anything on the first list combined with any of the other items on that list are always going to be painful, if not more so than they might have been individually. I will add more if I think of any, and will edit this with my dad's opinions later. Feel free to comment or ask any questions!

What Are The Best Fresh, Dried, and Processed Fruit Snacks?
Tumblr media
There is a common misconception that all fruit is good for you. Buying fresh fruit is all about making the most healthy of choices. Apples are a good pick. However, there is a catch to eating apples. They are high in natural sugar content which is not good, but as long as you eat the peel along with the rest of it you get the benefit of ursolic acid. That helps our bodies to build a type of muscle mass that burns fat and helps to prevent obesity. An apple a day also keeps the doctor away by providing fiber, antioxidants, vitamin c, and other beneficial things that our bodies need.
Green grapes are a family favorite for people, but they have a high sugar content and may not be the best choice for snacks. Bananas also have lots of sugar in them, but they contain tons of potassium which is essential for good heart health and muscle function. Apricots are awesome for Vitamin A and highly recommended as a good fruit snack by most nutritionists. Blackberries, blueberries, and cherries all have excellent health benefits but beware of baking them into pies.
Most people never likegrapefruit, but some people go crazy over it and there was that grapefruit diet craze a few decades back. This is a fruit that has an oddly pleasing and extremely tart taste that is attractive for some, but with no fat at all to speak of and very low sugar content. Not only is grapefruit an excellent source of vitamin c, but it tends to make you feel full which is why so many people eat it as a diet aid. It's always been a popular breakfast staple.
Oranges provide lots of vitamin c, folic acid, and calcium. Experts now say that oranges and many other fruit juices may be as bad a choice as soda for beverages. Unlike the actual fruit, the juice is the result of juicing several oranges which raises the sugar content exponentially and not in a good way. The extra calcium and folic acid are not worth the extra sugar, so beware of getting addicted to fruit juices of any kind.
Purple grapes, kiwi, strawberries, mango, raspberries, papaya, and prunes are good choices as fruit snacks. Sugar levels are a bit high in some of these choices like mango, purple grapes, and prunes, but the benefits outweigh the sugar content in all.
If you purchase dried fruit be aware that most of your choices will not provide you with the same health benefits as eating the same fruit fresh. That is especially true if you purchase items that have been processed using extra sugar or additives for preservation or other reasons. There are exceptions. The best-dried fruits to buy are apples, apricots, mango, cherries, figs, papaya, blueberries, raisins, plums, and tomatoes.
Fruit candy is not the worst snack anyone can choose, but it is also not the best and nowhere near as healthy as fresh or dried fruit. Fruit candy is made from fruit juice, sugar, and various additives. Because the candy contains fruit juice, you are starting with something that is not as healthy as fresh or dried fruit and has a lot more sugar in it.
Fruit, whether it is fresh or dried, can be your best friend or worst enemy. It's all about understanding how your body reacts to the sugar content and making choices that include the least amount of additives or processing. Pick three pieces of fruit you enjoy the most each day and have one of each. You can contact us through our website if you want to order the dry fruits delivery in mumbai.

Drink/monster headcanons for the lmk characters.
@crowboss-whore hey look what I made
MK- MK is a simple guy. He loves sweet drinks with enough sugar in them to give the average guy a cavity. Fruit punch, soda-pop, caprisuns. He drinks them all. He also drinks a lot of energy drinks to try to stay awake throughout the day. With all of his training, partying with Mei, and work, poor boy is running on 3 hours of sleep. As for monsters, he loves mango Loco and sunrise, he's a fruity guy what can I say. He doesn't like the lemonade one, saying it's too sour for his (sugary) tastes
Mei- big big energy drink fan. She drinks a fair amount of tea, but mostly sticks to energy drinks. She and Tang both get together and drink tea and energy drinks in the mornings, talking about whatever they want. If you think MK is bad when it comes to energy drinks, Mei is so much worse. She'll chug a bang ten minutes before she goes to bed and then be shocked when she's not tired. As far as monsters go, she loves white dragon tea and pipeline punch.
Absolutely the type to make battery acid out of the monsters she drinks, and often does. She once stayed up for 3 days straight because she drank so much caffine, and then passed out for a full day.
Red son- his favourite drink is Mexican hot chocolate but you'll never hear him say it. Whenever he's asked, he says he just drinks water, but Mk and Mei both know the truth. He also really likes warm milk, or any sort of calming, warm drink. He doesn't care for most teas, but he is a fan of the tea sandy makes.
He doesn't actually care for energy drinks! Caffeine gives him anxiety, so he tends to stay away from them. He'll have a sip of whatever Mei and Mk are drinking though. Once he took a drink of Mei's battery acid and the man was FLOORED. He had to sit down for a little bit to process all the sugar he just had. Super wary whenever Mei offers him a drink of something because of it.
Sun Wukong- HATES CARBONATED DRINKS, this is the hill I'll die on. He absolutely let's all of his carbonated drinks go flat to drink them afterwards. Everyone hates him for it. He loves peach anything though. Peach tea? He loves it. Peach juice? His favourite. Pea h pop? Again, he'll let it go flat but he loves it.
MK once gave him a peach monster and wukong almost choked on it because it was carbonated. He loves the rehabs, and his favourite is the peach tea one, no one's surprise. He's a big fan of white peach calpico, and has it stocked up at his house. He also had a bunch of sparkling water at his house. You know, the kinds that taste like static? He'll open them, let them go flat, and then drink them. He says they taste great. I will let you do what you please with this information.
Macaque- This man. This man is a menace, he might even be worse than Mei. He lives off of caffine is constantly downing five hour energies. He once filled up a 32oz cup with only five hour energies and chugged it. For reference, it would have around 16/17 five hour energies in it, and around 3,200mg of caffine. He doesn't remember the next two days. He also loves monsters, he says his favoufite is the black (cherry) but he's a LIAR. his favourites are the peach and he goes to great lengths to hide it. He does really like the black (cherry) and drinks it a lot because it's on brand for him.
Aside from his caffeine addiction he says he doesn't have, he's a big fan of soda-pop! He likes the way carbonation feels. Big fan of Dr pepper. Big fan. He'll drink basically whatever he can get his hands on, but he hates those aloe Vera drinks. Hates them. Especially the ones with chunks in them. He thinks they're gross and slimey and would rather die than drink one.
Tang- Caffine runs through his blood. He drinks so many monsters every day. He knows everyone by their taste alone, and is especially fond of pipeline punch. Started drinking the peach monster after he found out Wukong liked it. He rivals only Macaque in his caffine consumption. The two regularly text each other about new energy drinks they enjoy, and recommend other drinks to each other.
He drinks a fair amount of tea, and acknowledges that he shouldn't drink so much caffeine, so he's trying to stop. Sandy makes him lots of teas, and some of his favourites are herbal teas and black teas. He adds honey to his tea! It helps with his throat since he does so much talking, telling Mk stories about the monkey King.
Pigsy- He's an old man, alright? He likes his teas, and he's fine with that! He and Sandy both get together to share teas with each other, and try the new tea sandy makes! He's not a big fan of caffeine anymore, and knows the stress it can put on your body so he does his best to make sure Mk doesn't drink too much caffeine.
Sandy- To no ones surprise, Sandy drinks a lot of tea! Caffine and carbonation hurt his stomach, so he tends to stay away from most pop and emergy drinks. He's the one who tries his best to get everyone else to drink water and not drink 3 monsters on an empty stomach (mei).
Nezha- nezha drinks a lot of tea! Tye celestial realm doesn't have a whole lot of modern drinks, so he's used to drinking tea. However. When he got some downtime with Mk and Mei? They introduced him to Boba and energy drinks and all sorts of other modern food and beverages. He is now hooked on energy drinks and drinks over a thousand milligrams of caffine a day. It doesn't even affect him that much. He just likes the carbonation.
He's a big fan of ramune! His favourite flavours are the ginseng and yuzu ramune. He also drinks a lot of energy drinks, like Bang, monster, redbull. He's the king of mixing several energy drinks with a five hour energy and chugging it. Absolute heathen.

Self Care 101 🦋
Tumblr media
In this post I’ll be outlining my current routines as they relate to self care. I’ll cover everything from head to toe making sure not to skip your spirit. You cannot be a girl of ANYONE’S dreams if you aren’t taking care of the most important person in your world: you.
mornings:
wash face with gentle cleanser from curology, tone with organic Mamonde rose water and finish with rich moisturizer and spf30
brush teeth with activated charcoal toothpaste by Crest and baking soda for whitening and gum clarity
take vitamins : woman’s one a day, hair skin nails, biotin, vitamin c
drink glass of water then a cup of tea
black tea, raw cane sugar, a lemon slice, ginger
good for energy, immune function, and detox
showers:
this may sound so extra (😅), but depending on my hairstyle, I sometimes like to let the shower run for about five minutes with the door closed to create a sauna effect. this is especially if I have a mask on my hair.
my showers usually are about 20-30 minutes
I have a back brush, pink exfoliating gloves, a loofah, and tree hut body scrubs and I use them ALL.
I wash first with my dove beauty bar to assure clean skin before washing with EITHER my OGX Shea So Soft body wash or Dove Renewing Peony and Rose Oil body wash to add scent or silkiness to my skin.
Tumblr media
hair removal:
I haven’t yet mastered the art of waxing myself so I’m still riding the shave wave. *when I do I’ll make a post 4 that*
I exfoliate throughly before AND after shaving
I shave my entire body using Tree Hut Shaving Oil and a nice conditioner I’m not using. This leaves my skin super soft and silky and helps the razor to glide without skipping. I use Gillette Venus. no less than five blades, anything less is ASKING for nicks and a hard time.
Tumblr media
when I don’t feel like shaving, I use Nair. use at your own risk. yes, I Nair my ENTIRE BODY. only leaving it on for about 7 minutes I rinse in WARM (not hot) water and exfoliate afterwards. it is imperative to moisturize after to avoid irritation. however, Nair is much easier to do than shaving and seems to last an inkling longer.
after shaving, once a month, I pull out my KENZZI. it’s an IPL device and it has helped to slow the growth of my hair. it’s noticeable for us long, thick haired chicks. I use the second to lowest setting as a melanated babe, as the higher settings could burn me.
I know many endorse the hair on women movement and I can understand it. But I personally love my skin silky, hairless, and smooth.
nights:
after eating dinner, I wash my face and apply the tiniest bit of glycolic serum and my curology night cream. my skin has been the best it’s been in a few years. then I brush my teeth and rinse with peroxide.
every four days I give myself a facial
my favorite face masks:
The Ordinary Salicylic Acid mask
The Ordinary AHA + BHA mask
all Tony Moly sheet masks *luvvvvv those*
GLAMGLOW SUPERMUD clearing treatment *fav*
Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme mask
Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber Gel mask
Peter Thomas Roth Irish Moor Mud mask
Peter Thomas Roth Rose Stem Cell Bio-Repair Gel mask
ORIGINS Clear Improvement mask
An at home honey and aloe mask
I apply a rich facial moisturizer and get to bed.
I then write in my planner my new plans and what I did that day if I hadn’t already. then after that I script and make mood boards in my diary. then I read a little. currently reading: Making Faces by Kevyn Aucoin, and Live Like a hot Chick by Jodi Lipper.
Tumblr media
emotions:
I talk to my grandmother about my feelings, she helps me sort things out. please try to find one person you trust to talk to, my messages are always open. 💓 I often overthink. I suffer from anxiety and clinical depression. sometimes these things make me FEEL limited. these experiences wax and wane. I remind myself that the darkness is temporary.
I write in my diary what I feel and track my emotions for potential patterns. I don’t manufacture or sugar coat my feelings, I just talk.
Tumblr media
sometimes you need a good cry. let it out. clean your slate. you’ll always feel better, sometimes great after a hard, deep sobbing cry.
I try to get out of the house and get some sunlight. it helps brighten my mood sometimes.
baths:
LOVE taking baths I don’t care what the status quo is about dirt. just rinse off. I love wrapping my hair up and soaking in warm-hot water.
first I run the water. as it’s running I add my bubble bath, then body wash, then my Shea Moisture fragrant coconut oil. it smells soooo good, literally yummy. then I inevitably scream from dipping my toe in the hot water. finally I get in, scrub down my body, emphasis on feet. then I wash, and just relax. I’ve even fallen asleep in the tub once, I was so zen.
careful not to soak too long or overdo it with your products. synthetic materials lingering in your lady bits for too long cause cause infections like bv or uti
some women add tea tree oil, acv, or even Aztec clay to their baths for wellness purposes. I love adding essential oils to my baths to relax and the natural scent is just great 🥺
when I get out I always put something that feels lush and soft on. *invest in super soft, comfy bath towels, they’ll make you feel so luxurious and soft after a nice relaxing bath*
flower:
the yoni is something sensitive that needs to be taken care of thoroughly, and differently than the rest of your body. it’s not recommended to use soaps down there, it can unbalance things and make you itch. also make you prone to infection. this is why I use clear warm water to clean. if I use soap it’s a sensitive, gentle formula. don’t ever try to clean the cavity. she’s a self cleaning vessel.
to shave, I trim my hair down as close as possible and use a FIVE BLADE razor with conditioner and take my time. making sure not to pass a spot twice, I apply moderate pressure and move slowly. when finished I rinse and scrub gently. I PAT not rub dry. to finish off I apply TendSkin, and salicylic acid to avoid ingrowns. once that’s soaked in I apply shea butter. very soft and pretty 🌸
⚠️ DO NOT PUT ON TIGHT PANTIES OR RIGHT PANTS AFTER SHAVING. it restricts the hairs and causes irritation and ingrowns. throw on some comfy loose shorts for a while, let it breathe

ah yes, my favorite part. I love fragrance so much. I love to smell like you could literally break off a piece of me and eat it.
I find that using fragrant washes and oils make your scent more strong and help it linger. I already mentioned the body washes I use. the tree hut scrubs I use smell amazing also. I alike to add essential oils and man made scents like strawberry and chocolate to my Shea Moisture oil (so yummy).
I also use a fragrant lotion, eau de parfum, and fragrance mist.

hair:
it’s super important to keep your hair moisturized. quenched tresses move, grow, shine and bounce. dry hair is limp, lackluster, and extremely fragile

strength from egg, avocado, mayo and olive oil
moisture from avocado and honey
cover damp CLEAN hair and scalp in mixture and cover with a plastic bag, then towel for an hour, rinse thoroughly, and seal in moisture
fav hair products:
castor oil
fusionplex conditioner and mask
Aussie conditioner
wella goji berry mask
coconut oil

helpful tips:
when shampooing, concentrate on the scalp and wash thoroughly twice, as the suds will naturally cleanse your stands without drying and stripping them
rinse hair with apple cider vinegar every now and then. it restores your ph balance, smooths the cuticle, clarifies the strands, and adds shine
always add oil and leave ins to DAMP hair, never dry; this will ensure you’re sealing in moisture
try to use smooth fabrics to dry your hair, bath towels encourage frizz and breakage
hands and feet:
Tumblr media
and last but not least, let’s cover manicuring and pedicuring.
it’s super important to make sure your nails are either DONE or filed, shaped, and smooth. at home maintenance is super easy. make a point to scrub your hands and feet well when bathing. make sure to stay on top of your cuticles by trimming or pushing them back. I like the look that pushing them gives. I use an orangewood stick, metal pusher and cuticle softener to make the process super easy and safe. after I’m done I add my pineapple scented cuticle oil. I do this on my fingers and toes.
invest in a rasp and pumice stone for your feet and use these gently every two weeks after soaking them in warm foot salts. rough usage can cause cuts and irritation. in between treatments keep your feet soft by slathering them in a moisturizing foot cream, cocoa/shea butter then oil to seal it all in. buy some soft thick aloe infused socks and wear them to sleep. you’ll thank me 😉

well, that’s all I’ve got. I truly hope you enjoyed my post! it’s always fun sharing my advice with you all. any feedback is appreciated and question is welcomed ♡

𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐘𝐨𝐫𝐤
You and Yuta have both hit a wall in your respective lives. Loneliness seeks comfort.

“Another unfamiliar place with more unfamiliar people,” Yuta murmured to himself while stuffing his slender fingers into the pockets of his straight jacket.
He had an inexplicable urge to leave his hotel room to wander around the city. Even though he risked a lot of trouble with his managers for a simple stroll, the walk still wasn’t making him feel any better. He had been to New York City several times but it still felt...empty.
The more he traveled around the world with NCT 127, the more he realized how small and insignificant he was - an incredibly stupid mentality to have as an idol. Yuta felt like he was always chasing his next high and lately not much was making the cut.
Performing, practicing, and simple downtime with his members had initially been so fulfilling. That was when he felt like he had something to work towards. It didn’t feel like he was working at all anymore. He didn’t know if he should be more concerned that it was easy faking stability or that none of his friends could recognize his unease.
Perhaps that’s why you caught his eye so easily.
While Yuta restricted his insecurities within his body, your vulnerability stretched across your trembling figure. You were speed-walking to Barnes & Noble, desperate for a gentle relief to get you through the night.
It was your last year at New York University’s aggressively cutthroat creative writing program. The thrilling environment of competitive writing had engaged you for three years but now you just felt burnt out. You did it all… gotten published, received distinguished awards, and had met your favorite authors but now you’re not so sure of yourself. And with your confidence went your writing stamina. So you decided, after re-writing the ending of your final non-fiction story three times, to run away to the bookstore and read stories from your childhood.
It wasn’t in Yuta’s nature to talk to strangers so he curiously traced your steps. He was pleasantly surprised when you led him to a bookstore and even more surprised when you eagerly reached for children’s books. After flipping to the first page of The Rainbow Fish, you looked up at the first person you saw, pointed at the paper, and exclaimed excitedly: “Pictures!”
Having read countless academic papers and various literature throughout the semester without a single picture, seeing such colorful and nostalgic images were putting you in a child-like frenzy.
Yuta felt his lips twitch uncontrollably. You wore your emotions so shamelessly and he found it to be both terrifying yet charming. You started laughing at yourself, realizing how ridiculous you must look.
“Sorry, I must seem like I’m on acid or shrooms… I swear I’m intelligent,” you mumbled while hungrily paging through the children’s book. Yuta blinked in confusion. He was good at English but he wasn’t sure what “acid” or “shrooms” was.
“I read that when I was a boy,” Yuta said awkwardly, nodding to the book you held. Your ears perked up at his articulation and you looked more closely at the guy standing next to you.
“In what language?” you asked, trying to place his accent.
   “Japanese.”
You sat down on the carpeted floor and patted the space next to you.
“Issho ni yomimashou.” Let’s read together.
“Nihongo o shitte imasu ka?” You know Japanese?
“Just basic stuff,” you said shrugging. “Can I practice with you? Like I’ll try to translate the sentences from this story and you’ll tell what I said wrong?”
   “Ano… okay?” Umm...
Over the next thirty minutes, Yuta was amazed by how comfortable he had become with you. He hadn’t heard Japanese in months; a strange ache lodged itself in his chest when you spoke it so smoothly. He remembered how anxious he had been when he was learning Korean, but whenever you made a mistake your bit your lip not from embarrassment but frustration. You were so foreign yet familiar.
“Wanna come over to my dorm? The store is gonna close soon and I want to keep practicing with you,” you asked with your most captivating smile. You were always forward with people, especially those you like and he had certainly caught your eye.
“I don’t know your name yet and you’re already inviting me home?” Yuta hid the bubbling feeling in his chest with a satisfied smirk.
   “I’m y/n.”
   “Yuta.”
“Okay now that we’re no longer strangers, Yuta, would you like to come over?”
“Yeah,” Yuta breathed. He didn’t care about the repercussions, it had been so long since he actually wanted to do something. And right now he wanted more time with you.
While the two of you walked to your dorm, you pointed out your favorite spots and places when you had done some fuck-shit, slipping in and out of English and Japanese. Yuta watched you in amusement, slightly amazed by your brazen tongue and reckless past. He couldn’t quite understand you… you had acted so carelessly before and yet, you always ended your stories by explaining what you had learned. He wasn’t sure if he would call you balanced or chaotic.
Upon unlocking the door to your dorm, your eyes shot to your opened laptop and you remembered the paper you needed to complete. This was your last story before the semester ended, and it had to be spectacular. But the ending was kicking your ass. Your shoulders immediately sagged and you staggered over to your fridge.
“What’s up?” Yuta asked, noticing your deflating figure.
You grabbed the giant vodka bottle and some cherry soda, your usual liquor and chaser combo. Collapsing onto your bed, you gulped down several mouthfuls of both substances and offered some to Yuta. He mimicked your actions without hesitation.
“I just…am tired of my life,” you said softly.
Yuta watched as your face crumbled into distress. He set the bottles carefully on the floor and approached your bed steadily.
You couldn’t read his expression. No one really could.
“I’m sorry,” he confessed in a low tone, “I’m not good at consoling people. Or talking in general.”
You searched his face. Quite possibly the most handsome and emotionless being you had ever laid your eyes on. You noticed before that his face only portrayed happiness or nothing. If he wasn’t smiling, he wasn’t anything. You, on the other hand, oozed an array of emotions.
You crawled to the edge of the bed where Yuta stood. You sat directly in front him with him looking down at you, your noses almost brushing.
“You don’t need to speak,” you whispered.
Yuta’s hands glided to the curve of your hip and held you firmly in place. As soon as you spread your legs to bring his body closer, Yuta’s lips found yours. He tasted like the cherry soda, the smell enveloping your senses.
Yuta pushed your hips back further onto the bed so he could position himself properly in between your thighs. While you continued to explore his mouth, his hands began to roughly grope your thighs through your tights. The thin material felt unusual but alluring against his hands and eventually his nails started to fray the nylon.
“Just take them off already,” you snapped, breaking away from the kiss when you realized what Yuta was doing and that this was your last pair of black tights.
“You look good in them,” Yuta hummed against your neck, licking and kissing below your ear until you were twitching with need.
As soon as he began lifting the edge of his sweater, you slithered out of your clothes while Yuta did the same. You positioned your legs for missionary position but Yuta nudged your hip to indicate his desire for you to flip over.
   “Fine,” you grumbled.
You already knew your thighs would give out in a few minutes but you let your body be maneuvered to his liking. He pulled your hips up so you were on your hands and knees and pushed his cock in your pussy.
   “Ummph,” you moaned in satisfaction.
Yuta pushed your wobbling knees further apart to compensate for his girth, causing you to fall onto your forearms.
You pushed your hips back in time with Yuta’s swift thrusts. Yuta closed his eyes and tensed his muscles, completely surrendering himself to pleasure. The syrupy sounds of his dick slipping in and out of you echoed in your small room.
Although your stamina was quickly depleting, Yuta’s unyielding grip on your hips forced you to continue your movements. Impatient with your decelerating speed, he eventually just held your ass in place to maximize his pace, his balls slapping against your ass with every stroke.
“You gonna make me do all the work?” Yuta breathed in your ear, pulling your torso up so he could grip your boobs properly. You shivered slightly, impossibly more aroused by the feeling of Yuta’s hardened chest against your back.
“If you don’t plan on cumming while I’m in control don’t ask for me to take over,” you warned, getting your shit together to not stutter.
“Can you make me come?” Yuta challenged, purposefully fingering your clit while continuing to hit you from the back. You rolled your eyes.
“Please. I could make you cum in three minutes tops. You won’t be getting any pretty little moans out of me.”
Yuta groaned and shoved you away. Propping himself on your pillows, he gestured towards his erect dick, still moist from your juices.
   “Sit. Impress me,” Yuta instructed.
Eye contact was not the move for tonight. His look infiltrated you further than his dick could, you felt psychologically naked under it.
So you sat facing away from him, with your legs folded on either side of his legs. You nimbly gyrated down on his cock, clapping your cheeks together whenever your thighs needed respite. Yuta reached out to grope your quivering ass but you would stop completely to slap his hands away.
“Fuck,” Yuta moaned, unconsciously rolling his hips up to try to cram himself impossibly deeper. You were not gonna lie, this boy’s dick was stretching you and you had been aching from the beginning but that didn’t matter. You both needed a release and sore thighs weren’t going to stop you.
“Let me be on top,” Yuta growled after you slapped his hands away again.
“Dignity dented? It’s only been a minute,” you huffed out, just barely closing your mouth in time before a moan could escape.
“Kinda hard to pull out if you’re on top of me,” Yuta said in a pleading tone. You could tell he was close.
“I’m on birth control,” you panted.
Your abdomen was completely tightened, the coil in your stomach beginning to unravel. You blinked rapidly to bat the sweat from your eyes, you were starting to get dizzy from the intense fucking.
“I want to look at you when I come,” Yuta begged.
He surprised himself with his honesty. This whole time, you two had been avoiding each other’s eyes but now that the climax was drawing near, and your encounter was coming to a close, he wanted to see your face. You slowed down your hips, contemplating whether you should just let him cum down your throat or turn around.
Screw it. You thought and maneuvered your body so you were straddling him properly. You looked down at him, slightly transfixed by his impressive body. It was the first time you two looked at each other naked.
Your hair had fallen out of the ponytail long ago, it circled your flushed face in a way that made you look more captivating to Yuta. He held back the urge to cup your cheeks.
You lowered your body onto his and moved your hips sensuously around Yuta’s dick. You didn’t feel like fucking anymore, you just wanted tender sex to try to elongate this as much as possible. You didn’t want to admit this was a one-night stand and soon he would be gone.
Yuta seemed to understand your thoughts and caressed your body as if you were worth something to him. Even though you both had slowed dramatically, your bodies were ready for relief.
“What if I want to hear your pretty moans,” Yuta whispered, effortlessly flipping you below him. His brown eyes were a pool you were drowning in. You weakly smiled and gave in to his request, allowing your low moans to spill from your lips, but not before you closed your eyes. In return, he whined into your collarbone, licking everything he touched.
His simple grinding had been enough for you both to reach your limits. Before coming, Yuta couldn’t resist one last kiss, this one much rawer than the first. But instead of relief he just felt lonely all over again. Now that it was over, now what?
“I guess you have to go now,” you said, heartache written all over your face. How was it possible that you got so attached to this guy you had just met an hour ago?
Yuta fished his phone out of his jeans pocket and groaned looking at all the missed calls and texts. They were flying out early in the morning for their next tour stop and the managers and members were flipping their shit trying to contact him. But when he looked back at you with an expression that mirrored his feelings, he knew he couldn’t leave without being honest for once.
“I haven’t been this happy in a long time,” Yuta revealed hesitantly. “I-I want – no – need to see you again.”
You licked your lips, deliberating his words. He seemed genuine. You traced his flushed lips with your pointer finger, trying to memorize the sensation.
“I’m an open book,” you smiled widely. “Read me whenever you want.”

do you have any new recipes that you've learned recently? i remember you wrote something a while ago about carbonara and i tried it out for myself it was really fun!!
i love this 😭 im gonna write way too much idec! something that has changed since that post: my kitchen is worse. i have a horrible combi oven which has resulted in me accidentally eating raw chicken, because it had been in there for more than 2 hours at supposedly 230 °C and i was really hungry and thought it HAD to be done by then. also i have less time and less money lol. it has made me a bit sad, and less motivated to cook nice things but i also love food! which means these tips/recipes are gonna reflect that and might seem a bit dull but probably also relatable for a lot of people.   i’ve definitely made spaghetti carbonara a bit too much because it’s simple and require few ingredients! will still vouch for that one tip about substituting the bacon with roasted veggies and other types of meat.
last week i made risotto for the very first time, i think? which means i might be assuming a bit too much, but i think it’s a great dish that you can almost make with whatever you have in your fridge. i made it with roasted beetroot(needs A LOT of time to soften, lesson learned), carrots and parsley root or parsnip(idk the difference), dried rosemary and thyme, garlic and onion. i had some leftover sushi rice, which is great for risotto apparently(love versatile ingredients), roasted them in some oil and then added white wine and chicken stock and actually added a leftover parmesan rind i had in the fridge to give the ‘stock’ some flavour, a bit of nutmeg and then in the end some shredded gouda lol… it was surprisingly delicious and i didn’t even really care to cook the rice perfectly. it also tasted delicious 3 days later, which was a nice surprise. i bet there are tons of risotto recipes online, but as long as you have rice, some kind of flavoured water, i guess you could kind of add whatever you want of veggies and top with whatever herb you have around.
another type of porridge i consume a lot these days is hot oat porridge, which i’ve eaten since i was little and it was the first ‘dish’ i learnt to make myself and it’s cheap. some people really dislike the consistency and look but i don’t. it’s also very easy to customise. i put in whatever nuts and seeds(which are often cheaper than nuts) i have around: flaxseed, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, chopped almonds and sometimes a dollop of peanut butter. i let them simmer along with the oats. i like adding those elements because it gives it some texture and it keeps me more full throughout the day. it’s very important to me because i hate spending money i don’t have on fast-food when i’m not home and i hate being hungry. dried raisins, cranberries for a bit of sweetness and if i’m treating myself i’ll add some fresh apples cut into small pieces or some homemade berry compote(i use frozen) or brown sugar. if i had more money i’d use maple syrup but i don’t at the moment. i also add a bit of cinnamon and cardamom, dried ginger etc, whatever you feel like. some people also add milk afterwards but i’d rather spend my milk on my coffee.
a small tip: making chili flake / garlic oil. it’s really delicious, you could put it straight on pasta with some parmesan and pepper and it would be a filling meal. either chop the garlic really fine, grate it, microplane it, smash it to pieces. heat some olive oil until it’s quite hot, then remove from heat and add the chili flakes and garlic. if the oil isn’t hot enough you can just put the pan or pot back on the heat but be careful you don’t burn the chili flakes or garlic, as it will make it bitter. the longer it will toast, the less pronounced the raw garlic flavour will be, so when it smells toasted enough for your taste, take it off. i store it in a tiny glass jar and add it in stews, sauces, toasts, pizza, sandwiches etc. the flavour is very strong imo and everything it touches will smell like it. something to drink: i like strong foods and i like sour foods, which is why i like lemon/ginger based drinks. to make it even more winter friendly and easy to make, i like to grate unpeeled ginger(i hate slices of ginger, they do nothing for me and seems like a waste of ginger), lemon zest, lemon juice and mix it or blend it with some water/apple juice and honey and strain it afterwards. if you have a really nice blender you can just add all of it together with some ice. i’m basically making a large amount of ginger shot mixture. then when i feel like it, i can take some of the mixture and either drink it as it is, add more apple juice if i need a refreshing beverage or add hot water and more honey for when im cold. you could also add turmeric, chili, use less sweetener and other sorts of healthy stuff but i honestly do it for the taste so i don’t care about that that much.
something sweet: i posted earlier about cakes and someone mentioned swedish kladdkaka, which is a super delicious, cheap, brownie-like chocolate cake that is easily customized and hard to fuck up which is why i’ve made it since i was very young and is a go-to and i didn’t even know it was a swedish thing. if you like airy, light cakes this is not for your. this is sticky, sweet and almost like confection. you can add nuts, swirls of peanutbutter, tahini, actual pieces of chocolate, replace the white sugar with brown sugar, the butter with oil(you can be fancy and use a bit of olive oil) or use a mixture, brown the butter, you name it. the recipe i use is this: melt 100 g butter and let cool. mix 2 eggs + 3 dl sugar in a bowl until fluffy in one bowl. mix 1.5 dl flour, 4 tbs cocoa, 1 pinch of salt in another. mix the dry with the wet mixture and add the cooled, melted butter. this is the point where you’d add chopped nuts, chocolate etc. pour the batter into a cake tin lined with parchment (i use one that is 16 cm in diameters i think). bake the cake for around 30 mins at 150°C - 175°C degrees. check on the cake using a cake tester or a a knife. if the knife is clean after … stabbing it, it’s done! the cake will change it’s texture after cooling. this is a cheap cake, and if you like cake dough you might want to give it less time in the oven for a more fudgey texture. make it your own! there are no rules. last time i made this, i left it in for too long in my opinion but it was still delicious. also i literally have a shit oven with a round oven rack that goes in circles no matter what due to the microwave function, and the only ‘mixing’ equipment i have is a whisk and a spatula. no need for kitchen aids or  even electrical hand mixers.
something else i’ve been eating a lot for lunch is simple open faced sandwiches, and something that can really elevate those is: making your own mayonnaise(and toasting the bread). it can be challenging, but it’s really worth it imo and i can’t remember the last time i bought it in a store. i have a small plastic bowl, whisk and 1 egg yolk. something i can really recommend is buying pour snouts for bottles. i transfer my oils from their plastic bottles to smaller, old soda bottles because im cheesy like that and it’s really handy especially when making mayo. constantly whisking the egg yolk by hand and then adding the NEUTRAL oil ever so slowly. don’t be fancy and use cold pressed stuff or extra virgin olive oil because it will taste weird. i only ever fail when i try to use immersion blenders for some weird reason but i find it rewarding to do by hand anyways and i think it might be easier to make smaller portions that way. mayo needs acid and you can get it by adding regular vinegar, apple cider vinegar, balsamic vinegar, lemon juice, lime juice, pickle juice, citric acid dissolved in water etc. it’s really easy to customise! when im making banh mi, i add some sesame oil, soy sauce for saltiness and use lime as the acidic element. for more regular use i add a bit of mustard(also helps with the emulsion), for fries, i like adding some fresh garlic. something as simple as mayo, tomatoes, flaky salt and pepper topped with chives is really nice. i also really like using slices of boiled potatoes or boiled eggs(idk if that’s only a thing where i’m from), mayo and the chili garlic oil. it’s also great for making tuna salad. yesterday i made a really simple sandwich with a very simple tuna salad(tuna, mayo, yoghurt, lemon and pepper), arugula, basil, the garlic/chili oil, cream cheese, pickled jalapeños and onions, green peber, cucumber and tomatoes. you could leave out everything but the tuna salad and it would still be a great little meal.
another nice condiment that beats the supermarket stuff by far is homemade ‘pesto’. when i buy parsley from my local grocery store, it’s a gigantic amount that i in no way can consume in a week. first of all when buying fresh herbs i really recommend washing them, wrapping them in a damp towel and keeping them in a closed container. it will prolong their lifetime from lasting a day to a week(change the towel if it seems too wet). i once had some cilantro in my fridge for several weeks and still be fresh. anyways, when i buy that much parsley, i like to remove the tougher parts of the stem(which i use in stews/sauces! chop it up and sautee it along with garlic and onion), add literally just olive oil, water, pepper, garlic, and a bit of acid and then blend away! it keeps for a long time in the fridge and is also delicious beneath tomatoes/potatoes/cheese on open-faced sandwiches. if you want to be fancy you can of course add some type of hard cheese, nuts, seeds, dried tomatoes, whatever.
i know this is the longest text post ever, but as a last reminder, i really recommend watching pasta grannies on youtube. really simple recipes with focus on few, good ingredients that just takes some time and love.

How to be poor (from someone who’s been there.)
Food: have small parties, invite people over. people usually bring the food for you and 9/10 wont take the left overs home. All you need to provide is like one bag of dollar store chips or something. Box cake. Ect
Listen. A lot of food taste like crap if you can’t season it. Especially if it’s already bland food like rice or unseasoned burger (something we had a lot of laying around bc the previously mentioned parties) your best friends are vegetable oil, canned veggies (dollar store has mason jars so you can keep them for awhile), minced garlic (cost like two dollars), and lemon juice. That with some salt and pepper makes meals a lot more bearable.
EAT EGGS! They provide you the majority of your amino acids so if you don’t have a lot of ways to shake up a diet this will help balance.
Check for local events. Some places will have free meetings once a month with food, and some schools do free summer lunches.
211. They can get you food stamps, as well as help with doctors visits.
Side note, make sure you always have a jug of water somewhere in case it gets shut off. If yours is bad you can boil it to get it clean.
Cold: to be honest I haven’t dealt to much with needing to cool down. That said, sleeping on the floor is better than the bed bc heat rises. Neck wrists and feet are best parts to keep cool and wet, they’ll make you feel cooler. Get a cap and soak it, then put it on. Helps a lot if you have to work in the sun. If you have windows try a eco cooler! It’s just bottles cut in half and put in a base! Also put away your rugs and make sure to use curtains.
Tumblr media
Heat: this one I actually know stuff about! You want to have thickest layer on the outside, bc air between layers helps the heat build. Heat up rocks and put them in your bed. You want less clothing on in bed bc your skin heat radiates right back to you instead of being absorbed by the clothes. I’ve also heard terra cota heaters work well, but haven’t tried them myself. Al it is is candles under a plant holder. Rugs will hold in heat.
Hygiene: dollar store to buy most of what you want. If you can’t afford to go to a laundry mat though, washing things by hand is relatively easy, you just need a space to dry them. I usually use hangers (many stores will give them away for free if you ask) and hang them in the shower. I’ll leave two links here.

youtube
Health: urgent cares are great. Obviously if you have something serious like a broken bone you need proper help instead of this section but these are just small helpful things.
Breathing issues: I have asthma. If you hold your arms above your head it lengthens your lungs a bit. Cough on purpose sometimes to keep loose in that area. Hold your breath for awhile so you aren’t hyperventilating and your body actually absorbs the existing oxygen. Vix, willow balm, and other smelly pain killers also help. Put a hand on your stomach and focus on that area to help breath deeper
Heart: again, hold your breath. It FORCES your heart to beat a little slower. If you have serious heart problems tho GO TO A DOCTOR
Stomach: milk. Baking soda in water. Laying down on your back and pulling your legs to your chest helps with bloating.
Emotional/stress:
Try to take five minutes out of your day without your phone just existing and noticing the world around you. It makes it seem like you have more free time, and gets you focused on things outside of your life or body. Being poor is stressful, and gives you less free time, so you need to make some for yourself.
If you can, try to take (another) five minutes and focus on your bad emotions. Just focus on the physical sensation, like burning eyes and stuff, it helps you get through a lot.
GET! OUT! OF! BED! I am guaranteed to get depressed if I stay in bed all day even if it starts as just being cozy.
Write shit down! Talk to yourself! Record yourself! Saying out loud “I feel x bc of y” helps a lot more than you think! Validate yourself!
Try to find one small good thing you like and talk to someone about it.

The weird old world of ‘soft drinks’
This is Part 19 of ‘How to stop drinking: A guide for normal people’. It’s a series in which I am sharing my reflections and tips on living, and staying sober, in a fun, honest, down-to-earth way to show that an alcohol-free life is possible. Previous chapters can be found below on www.samwarren.net
When I stopped drinking, I never really thought about what I would drink instead. But nothing could have prepared me for the utter drought of nice, non-alcoholic drinks that I would encounter in pubs, restaurants and clubs. This was in 2011, and although things have definitely improved since then (I’m writing this ten years later in 2021) it’s frankly still a bit shit in most of the places you’ll go on a night out with friends. Especially nightclubs.
Tumblr media
One of the reasons I didn't feel instantly well after quitting alcohol was because my sugar intake went through the roof. Pretty much the only alternative to an alcoholic drink in a pub or club is sugar laden fizzy pop or calorific fruit juice (which is a goddamn meal FFS!) unless you can bear to drink diet coke, or are happy to just drink water. And of course you’re not happy to just drink water… YOU WANT A FUCKING GIN AND TONIC. This makes the lack of appealing alternatives even more crushing to the newly sober human. As if this weren’t enough, there's the expense of the horrible things. Dear sweet Lord paying through the nose for a drink you don't want or need that won't even get you pissed!? Talk about rubbing salt in your still smarting sober scars.
One of the more obvious realisations I came to - quite quickly - was that I only wanted a soft drink when I was thirsty. Who knew, huh?! Sure, having something to hold at a party/ In a club/ at dinner is really really important, but as for actually drinking it because you want to? Well, you'll have had your fill after one or two, but your well meaning friends will continue to cajole you into 'having another'. When I was quite newly sober, I went to stay with heavy drinking friends who'd kindly bought in THREE bottles of non-alcoholic red wine, just for me. Which tasted disgusting. I barely managed to make it through three glasses… but even if it had been nice, I had no desire to drink 2.25 litres (half a builder's bucket) of slightly slimy, watered down grape juice, bless them. I’d have probably done the same in their shoes to be fair. I’m pleased to say that there are now some excellent no-alcohol, or de-alcoholised wines available in supermarkets, but sadly, almost no pubs or restaurants have them on the menu, which is pretty much exactly when you want them most. Even if they did, the fact remains that you don’t really want more than a couple of glasses of them, because there’s no alcohol in them whispering you into having another, and then another.
Tumblr media
The McGuigan Zero range (available in Tesco) is one I have especially been enjoying lately.
The only effect of having drink after drink when you are sober is to fill your bladder, make you fat/ rot your teeth/ give you Type 2 diabetes. Sugary drinks are kids drinks. Alcoholics have battered adult palates - bitter ales, dry whites, robust reds, the acidic tang of gin, the throaty burn of vodka… And that, my friend, is when Lime and Soda Is your absolute saviour. I actually think Lime & Soda is the sober person’s superhero. Like the chickpea is to vegans… In some pubs it’s as cheap as 50p a pint, In others you'll be fleeced for as much as £2.50… But it's not too sweet, sparkles like fizz (buttery effervescence on the tongue, you know) and if you have it in a tall glass with ice and a slice, no-one will ever know it's not a G&T. Another good one is ginger beer - it has the kick of alcohol and leaves you feeling warm in your mouth. Take care though as it's often high in sugar, although that can be great for a buzz from time to time too.
But as I said at the start, things are getting better for non-drinkers. The world (well, the UK) seems to be slowly waking up to the fact that non-alcoholics still want the 'fun and treat' of something nice AND FUCKING GROWN UP to drink when we go out (nightclubs are a pathetically sad exception to this). There are now no-alcohol cocktails on lots of restaurant and bar menus - we'll leave aside the disparaging and ‘goody-two-shoes’ labels of 'mocktails' and 'virgins' to one side for now and just say thanks. I've also found bar-tenders are happy to whip you up a fruity creation off-piste if you ask. And there are coffee syrups If you're not feeling the fruit. The Dead Canary in Cardiff made me the most amazing concoction once - like a Brandy Alexander, creamy, chocolatey coffee with a dash of chilli for a kick.

Me at The Dead Canary in Cardiff, December 2016
Another kind barmaid in Piccadilly fashioned me a long delicious thing to die for that tasted of cherry bakewell and looked as beautiful as could be. My visit to a skyscraper restaurant Manhatta in New York was topped off with a lovely alcohol-free martini, and pretty much every pub now stocks at least one brand of no-alcohol lager - which is frankly so awesome that I have devoted a forthcoming chapter to the stuff, and other ways to ‘be in disguise’.

Oily skin anon here...Yeah, effaclar is great and not too stripping like a lot of acne products can be. I've tried the cleansers and the salicylic & glycolic acid serum. Unfortunately, the moisturizer is nothing special. Honestly, I've never had much luck finding a decent moisturizer. I'm currently using one of the toleriane line, which at least doesn't have fragrance. As for sensitive, red skin anon, I know they have a cream for rosacea and my mother uses one called kerium for red and flaky skin. She seems happy with it!
hi again anon! love talking acne and oily skin, and I don’t do it enough smdh. so lets talk moisturizers because they are important as fuck and often misunderstood by like everyone, especially people with oily skin. this is something that imo can exacerbate skin concerns and make oily skin oilier/dry skin drier/etc. so I’m gonna talk a bit about WHY they are important and then I will get into what different skins might need, and what you might consider trying.
the main purpose of a moisturizer is to lock in moisture (lol) and prevent transepidermal water loss (water evaporating through your skin’s top layers, aka your epidermis). without getting too technical, your skin has this handy thing called a moisture barrier/acid mantle that is integral to maintaining healthy skin. our skin’s barrier is naturally acidic due to sebum production (so oil) and sweat, around a 5 pH, to protect our bodies from viruses and bacteria.
so when we talk about stripping our skin of its natural oils, you know that squeaky clean feeling? that’s bad. it’s actually damaging your moisture barrier, making your skin more alkaline and leaving your skin vulnerable to germs and irritation. this is very common in dry skin, but people with oily, acne-prone skin have been sold so much nonsense for ages - the charcoal masks, baking soda cleansers and exfoliants, pore strips etc all spring to mind - and so often they will strip their skin’s natural oils and then send their sebum production into overdrive to compensate. this is why many people with oily skin actually find introducing certain kinds of oils into their skincare helps control oil production - sort of like tricking your skin into thinking it already made enough oil.
and to be clear, all skins need a good balance of water and oil - in fact this is what decides your skin type.
when skin is dry it lacks oil. normal skin has a equal balance of water and oil. oily skin has too much oil. combination skins have some areas that are one type and others that are another type. sensitive skin is also a skin type and it tends to be dry. your skin type doesn’t really change, although as we age our skin does produce less sebum over time. this is why people with oilier skin tend to look younger.
all skins can be sensitized and dehydrated - think moisture = oil and hydration = water. these are conditions, not skin types, because they can go away with treatment. my skin is always going to be somewhat dry even if it needs less oil during the summer and through good skin care. thanks genetics XD
if I don’t drink enough water, my skin will look crepe-y and older because I am dehydrated. thanks to environmental factors like pollution, stuff I put into my body, my stress levels, allergens, the amount of sun I get, etc - my skin can get more sensitized and irritated. when we deal with that stuff, the condition goes away (until the next time).
so all of that out of the way, what do the skin types need in moisturizers? so all of this is variable and depends on what other products are being used.
dry skin needs an oil-based moisturizer, non-negotiable. dry skin NEEDS to feed that acid mantle to prevent irritation, infection, etc. a thicker ointment is a great option for dry skin (like the cerave healing ointment I stan, it’s very lightweight and doesn’t have lanolin so it really is great for all skins). normal skin needs a good balanced moisturizer, often a light cream as opposed to an ointment or a lotion.
oily skin needs LESS oil in a moisturizer than dry skin does. that doesn’t mean NO oil, and again I do think that some topical oils are beneficial to oily skin, but generally speaking a lighter, water-based lotion is going to be better.
some moisturizers that I recommend for oily skin (besides the cerave healing ointment):
neutrogena hydro boost
dermalogica active moist - I am certified in dermalogica and while I don’t love all of their moisturizers I think this one is great. oily skinned folks lucked out.
glow recipe pink juice moisturizer - I actually have a mini bottle I use during the day under my SPF because my facial skin is pretty balanced at the moment. this does have fragrance but I am not opposed to fragrance by default (does the fragrance have other purposes - ie preservative, does it irritate my asthma, obviously do I have issues with that particular brand, etc. I want to talk about why fragrance (and other ingredients tbh cough parabens) isn’t inherently evil at some point because it’s all a matter of labeling practices, and clinique - a fragrance-free brand I worked for which works so well for so many people, is a NO NO for me)
I have also heard really good things about the cerave hydrating hyaluronic acid serum as a moisturizer for oily skin but I haven’t used it myself YET. if it is at all similar to my beloved b-hydra serum by (blegh) drunk elephant (eurghhh) then it’s a go.
belif aqua bomb is a good one, too
clinique’s dramatically different hydrating jelly is probably my favorite product from when I worked for the brand
on rosacea, I want to be clear that because rosacea is a medical condition it is important that if someone thinks they might have it they go to a medical professional to get it diagnosed and treated clinically. same thing with cystic acne (lol not to be a total hypocrite).
here are some really good videos from two actual dermatologists online who I really respect:
dr dray (so a lot of her videos have sponsorships but like who cares, she is clear about it and a dermatologist) -  best oily skincare (sponsored by walmart i know guys but like it’s a good video), 10 best products from lrp, best sunscreens for oily skin
dr vanita rattan (specialized in skin of color) - oily skin moisturizers, cleansers for oily skin, best sunscreens for oily skin, all of her videos omfg
anyway wow hope this helped!

Hi, professor! I'm glad to find a Steel specialist, because I recently caught a wild Bronzong, and I noticed the other day that they have a growing rust problem. Can you suggest any way to deal with this?
Ah yes. Rust is a fairly common problem for all steel-type pokemon and their trainers. Fortunately,  it is also relatively easy to fix provided the damage isn't too extensive.
However, where your question causes some concern is with Bronzong specifically. You see, "Steel-type" is a bit of a misnomer. In actual fact, most pokemon's metal parts are complex alloys, the make-up of which is dictated by their diet, environment and genetics. Bronzong, as the name may suggest, are nearly always bronze-based and bronze does not rust.
I will warn you, if the affected area is a darker or lighter green, has some pitting and seems especially uncomfortable for Bronzong, it could be an indicator of bronze disease, a very serious corrosive condition. If you can scrape away the affected metal with a fingernail, get your Bronzong to a specialist immediately and inform them and the local professor where you caught them. Bronze disease can spread to any cupreous object so other steel-types could be at risk. I would recommend taking your Bronzong to get properly checked over so you can rule this out a completely.
If you're spotting something more like traditonal orangey-brown rust on your Bronzong it could be an indicator that some metal debris or scrap has fused to them and that is what's causing the rust to form. You can test this by taking some steel wool or a little bit of sandpaper and scrubbing at the affected area, if the rust isn't too deep, you'll see the offending metal after a few minutes. Don't worry, this won't hurt your new pal at all. Think of it like grooming.
More stubborn rust can be shifted with baking soda. Mix it with enough water to form a thick paste and let it sit for a while before you scrub it off. You can also sprinkle some coarse salt on there and add some lemon juice to help shift it. The acid of the lemon is very effective but will do some damage if you leave it too long.
Do keep in mind that this method is also used to remove verdigris - the green coating that forms on bronze, copper and brass statues and jewelry. So if your Bronzong suddenly starts turning brown in the area your scrubbing, dont panic. The verdigris will come back on it's own over time. Bronzong can get a little proud about their coat though, so make sure you let them know if it happens.
Once you know the underlying cause, how you deal with it is up to the two of you. It's not actively harmful as long as its kept rust-free and your Bronzong might even be fond of it. If you do decide to get it removed, take them to a specialist as it will likely have to be sanded down.
All the best with your new team member!

hello! do u have any omo hcs for any mha chars? if not, that's okay :) btw some of the stuff u posted from a while back was from homestuck, just wanted to point that out ig- have a good day!!
To answer your other thing first, yeah I know hom/estuck! :D I never got super into the fandom side of it or even finished reading it unfortunately bc it's just SO LONG (I got up to some point in the middle of Act 4 or 5 I think? That was years ago though). I know the 4 kids and the first batch of trolls around their age (K/arkat and all of them) but once it gets to the older ones from that other timeline or whatever I got lost and only really know about D/irk and Ja/ke haha. I've still tried to avoid spoilers about the stuff I didn't read and the ending and such since maybe one day I'll have nothing else to read and finish it lol. The most interaction I really do with it nowadays is reading the occasional omo fic or looking at art because the piss side of that fandom was chock-full of quality content (and in some places still MAKING IT ) that I'm still working my way through.
But you didn't ask about that you asked about SUPERHEROES! SO HERE WE GO! :D
I've posted a few for certain popular chars like De/ku, Baku/gou, and Tod/oroki before (which I will reblog right after answering this in case you'd like to see those), so I'll do a few of my favourites this time!
M/ina (aka pink bae) :
* Pretty big bladder, but not a high tolerance for pain after a certain point. As soon as she feels a nagging urge she usually just goes instead of waiting. She can technically hold a lot/for a long time if need be, but it really bothers her and psyches her out.
* Drinks WAY too much soda. Not that it really affects her bladder, it's just unhealthy lol
* Very whiny and vocal when she needs to go. At first jokingly/to vent her annoyance, then if she's desperate enough it's solely to distract herself because somehow talking about it is easier than struggling in silence. Groans really exaggeratedly to show how annoyed she is.
* Super bouncy, like hopping up and down on her toes or bouncing in her seat in class/on the bus. Tugs the hem of her shirt down to cover or places her hands to the front of her bladder and presses while doubled over/bouncing on toes. You know that kind of stuff.
* Doesn't really grab her actual crotch unless dying. She'll press her knees together/grind her thighs though, or rut against the edge of her chair
* She tends to sweat/get flushed when super desperate/straining, and if she's especially nervous she might lose control of her quirk enough for her feet to slip in a light bit of acid. Usually she can keep the quirk under wraps even while bursting though.
* If she wet in public/in front of important people, she'd be pretty embarrassed and would take a few days to get over it. But if it's in front of friends she doesn't mind as much. It's still an uncomfortable experience but she can usually find a way to turn it into a joke with everyone instead of them laughing at her expense. She has a good sense of humor about it and hey, at least she finally got to pee.
* Will pretty much pee anywhere. Boy's bathroom, outdoors, a bucket, whatever. The only time she'll hesitate or refuse is if it's super gross.
* Has gone in the pool once to see if the rumor was true. Only once though.
* Probably doesn't have an omo kin/k, but is open to experimenting either way.
Toko/yami (birb boi) :
* Tiny bladder (like smaller than De/ku's). Gets squirmy shortly after a single juice box or small soda. Cannot get through drinking a large-sized drink without multiple potty breaks. Mostly sticks to water except for rare treats because caffeine goes through him so fast.
* Very self-conscious and shy because of said tiny bladder. Doesn't like looking weak or seeming baby-ish compared to his peers and def doesn't want to have to ask multiple times on long trips or classes, so he tries his best to monitor his liquid intake and sneak away when everyone is busy. This usually works out okay since he's so good at hiding out in corners/being quiet, but it's becoming harder now that he has /gasp/ friends who want to keep tabs on him or include him in stuff. He would low-key rather die than tell anyone he has to go at all, let alone if he has to go really REALLY badly. Dorm sleepovers will be hell.
* He isn't really pee-shy as far as public bathrooms go, but if he has to take an emergency pee outside or smth he has a hard time going, esp if he has someone with him trying to stand guard. Some people probably like to joke that because he's part animal he can go outside whenever he wants. That is Not The Case and it isn't funny
* Da/rk Shadow, on the other hand, gives no fucks and will try his best to force birdy to say something or blurt it out himself. Mostly at very embarrassing and inconvenient times with crowds, or hollering at everyone to wake up and move out of the way during said sleepover in the middle of the night when To/koyami is trying to sneak past the maze of sleeping bags to get to the bathroom quietly. Da/rk Shadow would be lying if he said he didn't get a bit of amusement from making birdy boi so embarrassed, but at his core he also does it because he's concerned the poor guy's gonna hurt himself testing his limits so often, and he would be even more embarrassed if he wet himself so HE'S DOING HIM A FAVOUR REALLY.
* Mostly fidgets with his legs. Lots of jiggling and partial bouncing and shifting weight from foot-to-foot. Crossed whenever he's sitting. Squeezing and rubbing thighs together, the whole she-bang. If he's alone and it gets this bad you can count on a full-blown potty dance.
* If he really has to keep up a good impression and can't afford to let anyone know, he can stop the fidgeting, but pretty much only by standing stock-still and straight and not really moving. His whole body ends up shaking from the strain though so it isn't actually that much of a cover
* If he's literally about to pee himself/knows he has to hold it for a LONG time with no other options he'll cave and hold himself really tight, but he seriously has to be on the verge of a full blown accident before he'll dare do this. Even around close friends he'd usually rather just try his best to keep his legs together and put up with the few leaks praying they don't notice.
* He leaks a LOT of tiny trickling leaks. He never loses control in one big gush, it just keeps dribbling out and he stops it for like half a minute and then it starts again, rinse and repeat each time more agonizing than the last until he finally loses full control and the rests hisses out.
* He tries to be quiet when desperate but the worse it gets the more he starts to let out little whimpers and moans, which can then devolve into incoherent rambling. By the time he's about to lose it he's basically Izu/ku levels of chatter, albeit much much quieter.
*When he does finally let go completely (whether that's in the bathroom or in his pants lol) he definitely has those fullbody pee shivers. You know the lil shudder all the way up his spine, complete with the softest little moan and his eyes slipping shut? His head feathers floof up for a second when he does it and it's adorable.
* If he wets he's going to be completely mortified. He doesn't cry (openly at least, his eyes will be watery), but he isn't as good at maintaining a stoic facade as Tod/oroki could. He's shaky and his words come off broken, he can't quite calm his breath hitching. Depending on the witness, he might try to BS an excuse to leave immediately and pretend it didn't just happen, not confronting them for several days until he's tracked down. Or he might break down enough to be unsure how to leave/end up staying to be comforted.
* probably doesn't have a ki/nk for it himself but would hold/wet for a partner. I don't care how edgy he looks he's 100% a SUB
* Da/rk Shadow would enjoy being the dom and even have birdy hold for him maybe, using his shadow powers to poke and tease at his bladder
Ts/u (froggy) :
* BIG bladder. Is that friend who never seems to have to pee no matter how long you've been hanging out. She also has a decent pain tolerance and keeps control fairly well. It takes a lot to push her into a state where she's at risk of wetting.
* Always well-hydrated. Always. Mostly water, juice, or tea, she doesn't drink soda very often. Doesn't mind it though and the caffeine doesn't seem to affect her much, but the fizzing's weird.
* She doesn't really give outward signs of desperation. She doesn't bounce around or grab herself. The most she'll do is press her thighs together, or cross legs if she's sitting. Usually she just tries to stand still and focus on keeping control, and will be less talkative. Usually she's very observant of her peers and the situations around her, so her classmates can tell something's up when she gets like this and keeps missing details or not joining conversations.
* Still appears pretty calm, even when bursting. You'd have to know her very well to tell that she's nervous.
* Not shy at all about asking/leaving to go when needed, unless it's an extremely formal or serious situation. Even so, if genuinely close to wetting she'd excuse herself or find a way to take care of it.
* If desperate during an actual hero mission, she would intentionally wet herself as soon as the need started affecting her performance. Pride isn't worth making errors and putting others' lives at risk, and taking time to find a hiding place/get out of her costume wouldn't be an option.
* No problem going outside or in odd receptacles, even around friends. She's not going to go out in the open, but has no problem going while someone keeps watch or asking for a bottle during a long bus ride.
* Pretty chill about going in water, but still has standards. In the shower/further out in the ocean where it doesn't affect people? Perfectly fine. In the pool or a closed lake where people are hanging out? That just makes you a jerk. River? Depends on whether it's a super clean stream or already gross, and where it leads to.
* No omo ki/nk to speak of. Pretty confused about it, but perfectly chill with giving it a try if someone asks.
Kyo/ka (earphone girl) :
* Average bladder. High pain tolerance. Can hold for a while longer if necessary, but she'll struggle/wet eventually.
* Not shy at all about leaving/asking, barring special circumstances. Not a fan about going in weird places/outdoors, but will if she has to. She'll gripe about it though.
* Doesn't get nervous so much as frustrated when desperate. She's the type to bang on the door to snap at someone to hurry up, or yell at the bus driver to pull over before she soaks their seat. Her squirming is mainly just leg crossing or jiggling when seated, foot tapping when standing. Lots of sighing/growling and grumbling to take her mind off of it.
* If she's genuinely close to losing control though or in one of those special circumstances, she won't be nearly as frustrated. Instead she gets unusually shy and quiet, withdrawing to the corner and trying to stay unnoticed while she squirms and whines under her breath.
* Will only grab herself once she's on the verge of losing it. This is when she gets truly nervous and starts to panic.
* Wetting is embarrassing no matter what, but her reaction heavily depends on the circumstances. Close friends can comfort her after some sulking and then she can kind of chuckle about it. Regular peers get some threats not to talk about it, then she'll withdraw for a few days before she can get over it. Strangers she just tries to get out of there ASAP and wants to crawl under a rock
* Probably has a pretty big omo kin/k (mostly seeing others desperate, but sometimes indulges herself), but she's super embarrassed about it. You'd have to work real hard to get her to bring it up/ask you to participate. If she can though, oh boy is she gonna be into it. She gets a real thrill out of the dominant side of it, teasing people and watching them squirm (she's a very affectionate dom so expect some kisses and hugs while she casually straddles your bladder), breaking down their defenses until they lose control just for her. She does love being the sub on occasion though, it's nice to be the one flustered and nervous/having to be coddled for a change since she's usually so chill and tough.
Ko/da (animal whisperer) :
* Average bladder despite his large stature. Not overly weak, not overly strong. Mild pain tolerance. Can force himself to hold on for an exceptionally long time if necessary, but will be much weaker and prone to accidents afterwards.
* Pretty dang shy about asking/leaving, and is also legit bladdershy in public restrooms unless they're completely empty. Usually holds it during classes and then slips back to his dorm room's private restroom during lunch hour. Once he grows comfortable enough around certain friends he can use their dorm/house bathrooms, but that still takes some coaxing and a lot of visits to ease into it.
* He actually has less trouble going outside as long as there's plenty of cover and nobody's around (like a forest or smth). Animals don't judge the way people do. It's definitely not his first choice, but between say, a campground public bathroom and the woods, he'll take the woods.
* While most of his classmates/teachers in 1-A have gotten to know him enough to understand most of his miming communication, when he has to spend time with other classes/teachers or strangers in town, it can be a struggle. He's much more hesitant to 'speak up' about his need in the first place, and even once he does they don't really understand at first and it gets really embarrassing (short of doing an actual potty dance or starting to leak they might not figure it out in time). Sometimes he just writes it down instead/types it on his phone, which helps, but he's so used to charade communication that half the time he forgets that's an option.
* He tries not to be too obvious about his need when desperate, but isn't the best at hiding it. He gets really sweaty and can't quite wipe the nervous expression off his face, and his body posture is really tense and shaky. To be fair, he looks nervous a lot of the time, so most people might not pick up on the exact reason unless they know him well.
* When it gets REALLY bad he starts to squirm a little, pressing his knees together or rocking on his heels, shuffling in his seat, or the classic 'both hands gripping the edge of the chair with legs on either side, but you're not actually grabbing your crotch so it isn't obvious right?'. Any further and he'll do the actual crotch grab and a full potty dance, complete with tears budding in the corners of his eyes and little whining hums and whimpers.
* If he wets, he will be completely humiliated. Horribly ashamed, trying to clean up the mess but with no idea how, crying and on the verge of panic. That's all just alone. Have it happen in front of friends or in public and it's even worse, because now they're all gonna think he's a baby and not cool like them and he doesn't know whether to keep apologizing/crying or run away to hide forever.
* Luckily he's pretty easy to comfort once people try. He won't learn to laugh about it or anything but if people convince him they aren't mad or gonna make fun of him, he can meekly accept the offer to hang out or go back to join whatever group he left once he's cleaned up and had time to decompress.
* Doesn't really have an omo kin/k, but is a big sub with a humiliation kin/k so he could go along with it for his partner. He kinda likes the whole squirmy, blushy side of it and all the comfort and spoiling he gets afterwards uvu
Pi/xie Bob (blonde kitty teacher from the summer camp arc) :
* I actually don't have many for her since she was only in a few episodes, I just think she's really cute and cool
* Probably pretty good bladder capacity and strength to hold. High pain tolerance and endurance
* Would wet during a mission to avoid making mistakes bc she's a professional and isn't that embarrassed in the moment, but she thinks it's kinda gross and will shower ASAP afterwards. Also because her group is kind of idol-esque so there's a reputation on the line.
* Will go outdoors without much fuss if she needs to, but definitely prefers more civilized accommodations. You know she's got a nicer private bathroom than whatever general camp one the others have to use. Pros get privileges.
* Bounces/whines a lot when desperate and kind of paws at her crotch without really grabbing it. Lots of leg crossing and wriggling/hunching over. Only when by herself or with her close friends though. If she's in Pro-Hero mode trying to make good impressions or teaching camps, she can mask her needs remarkably well to focus on the task at hand. She forgets what she's saying periodically or has a shakier smile, but that's about it.
* FYI those giant cat paw gloves make getting a decent grip on her crotch imPAWsible
* Wetting is kind of embarrassing but she's also super relieved so it kind of balances out. Unless it happened live on tv or smth she'd probably be able to get over it pretty quickly. In front of any camper students she'd be embarrassed on the inside, but not let the flustering show. Instead she turns it into a teachable moment.
* Could have an omo kin/k or could not. We don't know a ton about her so I like flexible hcs.

How to Remove Etching, Scratches, and Stains From Travertine Tile
Natural stones such as travertine can be more susceptible to damage than other man made tiles like porcelain or ceramic. Theres a number of things that can cause damage whether it be from a liquid or a hard object scratching into its surface. Most of the time these issues can be remediated with travertine polishing services despite the severity of the situation, and its nothing you should lose sleep over. However if the issue is not taken care of in a timely manner, it can worsen over time and become harder to restore the travertine back to its original state.
What Causes Etching?
Etching is more common than you would think, especially in stones like travertine whether it be on the tile floor, in the bathroom shower, or kitchen countertops. Any fluid that is acidic can cause etching, even in the slightest. Tomato juice, orange juice, apple juice, lemonade, and various types of soda are all acidic drinks that can cause etching in natural stone. You should be careful to not spill any of these unforgiving liquids on your travertine floors, because it will cause etching and it is an inconvenience to remove.
Tumblr media
If you clean your floors on your own it’s important that you use an alkaline based cleaning solution as it is the only safe way to clean natural stone. Often times people will buy the most aggressive cleaners thinking they will get a better result than a diluted alkaline based degreaser. This is a huge mistake because the majority of cleaning solutions are not safe for stone, and they can very well cause etching.
What Causes Staining?
Tumblr media
Staining is less common than etching, however it does happen quite a bit, we’ve had customers that have needed us to come out and remove many stains from there travertine because they were simply unaware that it could happen. Staining is usually caused by any fluid or food that is dark in color such as wine or oil. Its not something you should worry about if you’ve had your travertine sealed in the past, however if you have never sealed your travertine then you should be extra careful until you do.
What Causes Deep or Superficial Scratches?
Tumblr media
This is more of a common sense thing, however the team at Phoenix Tile And Grout Cleaning always seem to be amazed. Sliding furniture such as couches, coffee tables, dining-room tables, and recliners can all cause very serious scratches in your tile flooring. Other natural elements that are more common in areas like Phoenix, AZ can result in scratches as well. This would include small rocks and pebbles that love to stick to the bottom of your shoes and make their way into your home. When one of these bad boys slides across your tile, it will create a valley you won’t be happy with.
How We Remediate Etch Marks, Deep Stains, and Scratches From Travertine Tile
We get it, any discrepancy in your natural stone can be an eye sore and no one wants to live in a constant compromise when they’ve paid a premium price for their home. So it’s important those stains are removed and you get back to your normal life right away. 99% of the time, honing the travertine and bringing back up to a desired level of polish is the way to go. When we resurface floors using a rotary floor machine, we usually get a great result in removing etching, staining, and scratches.
The Learning Curve and Necessary Equipment Can Be Expensive and Time Consuming
Travertine polishing can be a time consuming task, and if you don’t have the right tools or experience you risk not getting the results you may want in the end. When working with such expensive natural stones, it's important that you or the company you choose to hire have extensive experience in the field. This is because serious damage can occur if not done properly, and it will cost you multiples more than intended to have the floors replaced. We always recommend that a professional is hired to get the job done correctly.
