i'm aware of him but tend not to watch his videos for entirely personal reasons (the presentation style kinda grates on me)

behold! the word 'hello' :D I decided three more things: on the ipa chart I'm using for vowels I need the ability to err left and err right, so the lines are slanted as such

another thing is that you only actually fill in the line with your writing utensil to indicate a vowel XD since ofc there's already a line and less symbols is better ^-^

finally the little @-looking symbol means repeat the previous letter because I says so >:3 /silly

I've had a new idea for a really bad writing system that is just one big line with little vertical lines on it to indicate separate letters

and inside these little portions of vertical lines you basically a certain amount of lines on top or on bottom to indicate whether the letter is forward or back position-wise in the mouth as according to the IPA, and you also use dots to indicate form of pronunciation, almost like morse code

and then you either indicate a vowel via a symbol or using a different-coloured pen to write it

this raises the problem of starting letter, since they're all relative: Worry not! we'll use the most common sound across all languages, the 'uh' sound, affectionately referred to as the 'schwa': very relaxed tone, very good for a non-writing hypothetical starting system

this would mean that the first letter of any phrase is actually pretty standard

the thing about this language is it would include every possible consonant and vowel! ...except for the ones that aren't standard-IPA-chartable, such as clicks and implosives XD (at least I think? implosives might be standard I forget)
