I need a book about someone avenging Adam and Eve.

I just had the thought (and I'm no expert, I'm not even Christian I just grew up going to church whenever I was with my nana) that Adam and Eve had no knowledge of good and evil before they ate the fruit that gave them that knowledge. they had no experience of death, no knowledge of it when they were threatened with it when god commanded them not to eat the fruit. despite this, I can only imagine that they went to hell when they died, when Jesus died to absolve that original sin in humans it wasn't retroactive (again not an expert).

they were the original sinners and yet the only humans to ever be completely innocent, without access to the knowledge of good and evil.

so, with all this established, it would be incredible for someone to realize this and go on a quest to save them from eternal damnation. a biblical story in the style and theming of a Greek myth, it was my first thought while working through this idea because the Greeks were experts in underworld espionage.

anyway I hope someone enjoys this idea as much as I do, it's nearly 2am and I've run out of steam for fleshing this out any further.

The match was brutal, much more a challenge than passing nights and it was electrifying. The crowd was still jumping with energy after the spectacle, hell Valentine could hardly push their way through the crowd leaving the makeshift ring - a dirt floor cage meant for underground fights.

〝God they need to get more talent like that in here,〞 a deep throaty chuckle following as Valentine wiped sweat and another's blood from their brow and claimed a table on the outskirts of the warehouse to kick their feet up. The stocky fighter being trailed by their most loyal companion like a ghost given form, in all white and a head above half the gathered audience ever at their side.

〝Maybe they would have more talent if you weren't so rough on them, Valya. They're not like us, humans are deceptively fragile.〞 Her own laughter being drowned out by the aforementioned throng of mortal men. It was a full house, the air thick with sweat blood and smoke- all of which Valya was contributing to tonight.

〝Though I can't help but agree, even my instincts were kicking in from outside the cage- a good hunt is in order after this.〞 Her ember orange eyes were practically alight with desire upon the suggestion, there was nothing quite like the both of them on the prowl at night- a deadly duo.

I've only read the first book admittedly and while I did enjoy it I'm not gonna lie, the one thing that does put me off is that it seems to to fall into the same trap as nearly every other thing based off or inspired by Greek Myth which is;

Hades bad, and over all idk feels like they don't understand the myths/ depictions.

Yes there are a lot of myths, a lot of versions of myths, retelling ecetera however some details still tend to stick, the things that make them who they are.

Like out of all the gods how and why on EARTH would he have a demigod child??? Any/every other God fine but like besides the fact my man rarely leaves his place, to busy doing his job. Hades is one of the very few with little to no interest in hooking up with anyone else but Persephone.

How? Why? If you want to give him a blood relation idk instead of directly Hades have them be the kid of *new made up god* who is the kid of Hades/Persephone

I'm not saying I expect total accuracy or anything but just the idea of even implying Hades would do that feels very off and like the farthest departure from any depiction of him you could get.

Actually further research is just showing most of the series and it's problems are because of Hades of all gods??, Wouldn't it make more sense if it had been because of Zeus or even Posiodens illegitimate demi god kids running around and thus causing issues

With big bro Hades being the sensible one to point out why they gotta stop having kids with humans- espcially if taking place in WWII as lord of the dead he'd witness first hand the amount dead because of potential involvement.

Okay I can believe Zeus, Poseidon and Hades not always getting along and having their issues for whatever reason- if only just cause siblings you know. But Damm why is it need to go as far as to say everyone even them feared him... just for doing his job?? Like it's not like he himself is killing people man just watches over the souls (including ensuring the titans they put away stay sealed up )

Also idk feels a bit cliche/overdone in general to go "guy who deals with death is considered creepy and feared, no one likes him" or whatevee

Look I'm sure it's a fine series, not here to bash and if you like it great, but part of me is glad I didn't continue as from every new thing I read it feels like they just done did Hades dirty

I don't mind Hades being mean, someone rough around the edges and not always easy to talk to , he's a busy guy so he'd rather not be bothered. Being surrounded by the dead would probably get depressing , Persephone offering that light and cheer in his life

But he is responsible, he may not grant your request but seems like the type to at least hear someone out if they come to him with a problem. Maybe even being on the compassionate side knowing abd heating the woes of the world, pain and suffering. God of the dead he may be but that doesn't mean he enjoys or wants to see one suffer.

Obviously if you're rude or disrespectful that'll piss him off but generally he's probably one of the more reasonable gods to talk to.

So sure a slight antagonistic role fits him, a block in the road but not like a full villain purposefully doing things or wanting bad things to happen.

Prophecy of Eve (2014)

You’ve never heard of Prophecy of Eve and the odds are good you will never see it either. If you do, however, you’re in for the kind of catastrophe that rarely gets released. Appallingly acted, unconvincingly choreographed, incompetently written, poorly shot, clumsily recorded and flawed from the moment it was conceived, this film would be laughed off of YouTube.

As a child, Eve (Ia Villatuya) witnessed her parents’ murder at the hands of demons living among us. Growing up on the streets alone, she has evaded everyone, even the members of the mysterious ‘Order’ - a secret organization that trained her parents to fight the forces of evil. A prophecy claims Eve will cause the world to fall to darkness if she becomes corrupted by those demonic forces. Years pass, then, Eve re-emerges as a leather-clad swordswoman and everyone scrambles to win her over.

Prophecy of Eve is a laughable attempt to create a new version of Kate Beckinsale’s Selene from the Underworld series but with a microscopic budget. Everything about the film screams "bargain bin". The fight scenes are obviously either excerpts from a karate class or students from the same dojo in costumes. Even if the moves were impressive, you wouldn’t be able to tell - the camerawork is so wobbly. To compensate, the editor repeats actions 2-3 times, often in slow-motion. At least it’s easy to tell what just happened. You’ll need every bit of clarity to untangle the mess of a story the non-actors are struggling to make their way through. You’ll be watching, trying in vain to remember all of the identical-looking characters (none of which have any personality) when director, producer, editor, production designer, art director, set decorator and costume designer Ron Santiano introduces someone new. You swear you’ve been watching the film for at least half and hour but if they’re still setting up the plot, the lack of talent must be bending time itself. It makes the movie simultaneously predictable and so novel you’ve got no idea where it’s headed.

Not one of the actors in Prophecy of Eve has a chance of ever breaking into the big league because the performances are on the same level as a kindergarten play. In their defense, there’s laughable dialogue aplenty and the special effects seem to be barely trying. Just about everything is bad, which means you’ll never run out of things to criticize or make fun of should you decide to seek out the film. A word of warning, however. Prophecy of Eve does the one thing no movie can afford to do: skip out on the audio quality. Much of the dialogue sounds like it was recorded by a mike at the end of a cardboard tube. This makes it even harder to piece together who’s who and what’s going on because you’ll only catch about half of what people are saying. You’ll be laughing or groaning so hard on top of what you can hear that subtitles are a necessity.

You can’t make a movie like Prophecy of Eve by accident. These people thought they had the hottest, sexiest thing ever on their hands. What they didn’t realize is that they had just soiled their pants out of excitement on their way to the stage. This film tries so hard to be awesome it spirals around and becomes so lame you’ll wonder if you didn’t stumble upon the wrong movie by accident. And that ending. It’ll have you screaming in frustration at the top of your lungs at the sheer audacity on display. I could never recommend it to anyone. Even as a bad movie, you could do better. I must admit that as I sat through its meagre running time, I had a lot of laughs. I almost want to see a sequel... but not really. (May 15, 2020)
