I want to go swimming for as long as I want and sleep on the beach and not have to worry about a monster attacking me. I don't want to go to college in New Rome with Annabeth where I have to struggle again with school and everything! I want you in my bed everyday, morning and night. I want everything in our apartment to be blue. But I'll also let you pick some spaces for color if you want because it be ours. I want everyone to stop calling me stupid or thinking all my worth is that I'm this big hero of prophecy, or part of the golden camp half blood couple with Annabeth. I want to have dates with you in our apartment playing video games or watching movies while we eat McDonald's. I want to be normal. But I also want you there. Even if normal is not what you want and you want me to live in the underworld with you. I just want you besides me. In whatever way you can have me. Because I do want you Nico.

Jeff isn’t the uncontrollable psychopath that some sides of the fandom depict him as, he’s more tired and bored, kinda just like ‘meh’. He’s like a burned out teenager. BEN is similar, that’s why they get along,( he might also sell drugs on the side.)

I also headcanon that it hurts when Jeff smiles because of his cut smile, so he doesn’t smile often. (And laughing hurts like hell)

Slender is a father figure (fight me). He cares enough to feed them and makes sure their hygiene is good, and gives them their own rooms. When it comes to conflict between pastas, he kinda couldn’t give two shits, as long as no one is killing each other and shit is getting done

Lazari, Sally, and lifeless Lucy get along. They have little tea parties together, they also talk shit, and play dress up together.

Slender has a file system, with color, and no one knows what the colors mean.

Sully is kinda just a demon that lives in Liu’s body.

EJ isn’t allowed to cook (he once tried to feed everyone organs) not that some of them don’t eat organs, just that some of them would like actual food.

BEN can control whether he’s a transparent ghost or a physical being

The Mansion is an actual mansion, it isn’t in perfect condition but enough to live in (they do live in the underworld) it’s clean enough.

Aro Volturi-

You had begged him to watch a movie with you and he only said yes because he loved you too much to make you sad but to make it fair he wanted to decide the movie you were watching and you were fine with it but who could have kown how funny it would get? So it literally started with Aro looking through the movies. In the end he chose Underworld (which is funny as Micheal Sheen plays Lucian) so you cuddled up and started to watch the movie. You kept teasing Aro for Lucian looking like him as the character is a werewolf. Aro on the other hand was complaining about the movie being so unrealistic the whole time. In the end you just went to the player and took out the movie. "I am going to choose a movie else you'll keep complaining!", you grumble putting it away and looking through the movies for one you thought might get liked by Aro. In the end you decided for Hamlet as this was a classic by Shakespear and Aro may not be the biggest fan of Shakespear but atleast he wouldn't complain all the time. Then you cuddled up again and watched the movie together this time in a much better atmosphere. Hamlet definetly was a great idea and so you had your fun while Aro just enjoyed the cuddling and watched the movie not complaining anymore as the new movie was much better and Aro probably only in the end realised that it was Hamlet and not because he didn't realise the similarity (meaning everything being exactly the same) but because he couldn't believe that even so long after Shakespear lived they still thought of his work as so important that they even made a movie. Just wait until he finds out how many diffrent versions of Hamlet exist and that Hamlet wasn't the only work of him that got addapted.

Marcus Volturi-

Other than Aro Marcus would say yes immediatly he would just be happy you wanted to do stuff together as the loss of Didyme showed him that everything could end soon and so he just was happy to spend time with the person he loves. You would watch some book addaption like Harry Potter because let's be honest Marcus definetly read it. He would definetly complain at some points but not as much as Aro so that you just accept it and keep watching together even discussing few things about movie and book. It would be really fun and in the end you would just lay your head onto his lap and keep watching like that. You wouldn't just watch the first movie but do a whole marathon watching every movie, for Marcus no problem as he is a vampire and doesn't need sleep but you didn't get turned yet. You started at ten a.m. (Marcus made sure to not have anything to do the next twenty hours) and so you would get sleepy around two a.m. but would fight it back. In the end you fall asleep in his lap as it is too comfortable. At first Marcus doesn't realize but as he does he covers you with a blanket and watches you sleep the movie completly forgotten. He just enjoys watching you so peaceful and would protect you from any harm. As you wake up you complain to him that he hasn't woken you up and he just explained that he didn't want to interrupt how peaceful and happy you seemed and you find it cute so you just forgive him (not that you could stay angry at him for long). In the end you would just start from the film you fell asleep at making a memeory none of you would forget so soon.

Caius Volturi-

Caius says yes as soon you ask he already waited for you to do so because he wouldn't want to ask you but he would definetly want to watch the hunger games because that's just Caius and eventhough he could watch it alone he rather would watch it together with you. As you ask him he just grins nodding, suprising you. He asks you to watch the Hunger games and you just agree Caius already had buyed the whole series and just puts it in and you just watch it. You sit a bit away from him awkwardly. After a while Caius comes closer by himself wrapping an arm, around you. You immediatly lay your head onto his shoulder and keep watching like that. You watch all movies and you enjoy it fully soon snuggling against Caius and he can't help but enjoy it just as much. You two make bets who will die next which makes just as much fun (if you already know the film you win easily but if not Caius easily beats you as he has a good eye if it comes to things like that). Sometimes the guards come in but they go away as soon as they see you two and other than what they all thoght at the start they think you are a perfect couple and soon everyone in the volturi ships you two and make bets about your love life. You haven't even finished watching the hunger games as it started. Caius warms up pretty fast as he trusts you fully and even laughs and smiles with you making your heart beat faster and you really happy that he trusts you enough for it and as soon as another guard enters Caius is his old self again when they leave he turns back into the person that laughs and smiles all the time the person only you get to see.

For a second Ed thinks he has an echo, but then he realizes Eddy is shouting along with him, smiling wide with the crazed eyes of a possessed host body. Ed thinks he knows just who Eddy's being haunted by, too.

He snickers as Eddy hands his bowl of popcorn over to Double D, hiding his mouth behind both hands when Double D thanks him. "Are you two gonna hold hands at the scaaaary parts? Get cuddly kissy mushy smooshy?"

Haunted no more, Eddy's face puffs up like a mutated frog from the underworld, cheeks red from the hot fire he plans to spit at Ed from his boiling gut. But instead of the usual Eddysplosion, he deflates gently with a deep breath.

"No, Ed. And do you wanna know why?"

Uh oh. Ed frowns, unsure what he'll do if his buddies' new relationship is already down the gravy drain. "Why?"

"Because I need both hands free to strangle you!"

There's the boom. His cries for help are choked by Eddy's Herculean grasp, his head flung back and forward like one of those wall mounted spring door stoppers that he likes to flick over and over and over and over again. His usually steadfast and true ally against Eddy's rage is unsympathetic for him in his time of need.

"Honestly Ed, I fail to see what about mine and Eddy's romantic affairs is so amusing to you."

John Wick 4: A review.

asily the best action movie I've seen this year so far.

The John Wick movies have kept a surprising level of consistency over the years. The first film was an entertaining hour and forty-minute romp of Keanu Reeves masterfully executing a copious amount of men responsible for killing his wife and dog. It's a great stand-alone film that I did not expect to turn into a major franchise. What's equally stunning is that the second film is another solid entry for the film series. Then the third John Wick movie makes the argument for being the best of the series with heightened set pieces, and now we have four, which is an admirable send-off to the titular character, and another film for fans to argue whether or not it's the best of the four.

John Wick 4 might be the best of the bunch. The argument is there.

As the bounty continually increases against him, legendary hitman John Wick takes his fight against the rulers of the criminal underworld, the High Table, around the world. The stakes are resumed from the last film, where countless hitmen are tracking him down in hopes of claiming the bounty.

The fight scenes are just as captivating as ever, with John carefully executing and mowing down goon after goon. But other action scenes stick out even more than John's when the supporting cast gets their own wonderous scenes of slaughter. Shamier Anderson plays one of the trackers intent on collecting John's bounty. There are multiple instances where he could have possibly killed John and collected the bounty, and yet he doesn't, wanting the bounty to go higher and collect even more money. Accompanying him always is a German shepherd, and the two wreak havoc gleefully while killing others and making sure they don't kill John instead of him. Meanwhile, Donnie Yen portrays one of the coolest tropes usually seen in something like an anime: a blind hitman. Yen's physical and combative prowess has been seen before in the Ip Man movies. But his performance in John Wick 4 is on par, or arguably surpasses, the action choreography of Ip Man. Yen's late addition to the franchise desperately makes me wish he was around more in the other three films.

Besides the stellar action, the camera work remains decent, with one amazing bird's eye view during an action sequence. While the cast is a tour de force of engaging quirky characters. Scott Adkins as Killa makes for a really fun secondary villain in the middle portion of the film. He feels uplifted from an anime as well as an over-the-top baddie, and I love seeing him interact with John and fellow assassins. Bill Skarsgard is an engaging main foil to John and his interactions with Ian McShane's Winston are fun as well. The Death of Charon carries immense emotion to it, especially since the unfortunate passing of Lance Reddick earlier this year.

As the nearly three-hour movie comes to a close, we also bid farewell to a character we've gotten to know since his incarnation almost ten years ago. The send-off for John Wick feels appropriate after all the pain and suffering he's endured for four films, he deserves a good rest and to be reunited with his wife in the afterlife. It's a perfect send-off to a badass character. The one and only boogeyman.

There are talks of a John Wick 5 in development, and I literally don't know what you do for that. There are other characters the studios could absolutely focus on and develop from there, but the John Wick name should be ditched by that point. Unless the next movie follows John Wick in hell battling demons.

But if you haven't watched John Wick 4 already, do it. Matter of fact, dedicate a day to a John Wick marathon from 1 to 4. It's one of the few franchises right now that does not have a miss. Let's hope the show about the Continental is good though. Overall, it's an amazing action film, and easily cements itself in my top three films seen this year. Whether or not other movies will surpass it will have to be seen. 4.5/5. A hell of a ride from start to end.

So I’ve been watching a LOT of vampire movies as a project to broaden my cinema horizons by watching any vampire movie anyone recommends me; some really good, some bad, many middle of the road. A few movies into my extended marathon when I was watching Shadow of the Vampire (highly recommend), I realized how many of these movies have a brief female topless scene to the point where I’ve forgotten to mark the occasions in the notes I’ve been taking. It’s incrediably obvious why, vampires are tied to sex/sexual imagery as a staple of the genre. I’m not complaining about the presence of nudity, but it’s not something I expected as vampire movies I had seen before this were either PG13 or kept an R rating for tv by keeping the violence but omitting nudity.

Its definitely fanservice (Looking at you non edited Underworld 2!) and I was surprised to see it as far back as The Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires (1974) which has women’s shirts getting ripped off during a vampire attack, but that was my bias because before this I thought Hammer horror films were relatively sexless.

The only time I’ve found it intensely off putting where it felt so male gazey that I didn’t enjoy it as a queer woman was in Bordello of Blood because I quickly got sick of how the camera would just pause with breasts center frame for a few seconds, in cliche HBO tits and ass way.

I’m not sure if it’s an aspect of the genre that the nudity drastically declines after the mid 2000s, or if it’s just a coincidence of movies that have made it into my rec list. Only Lovers Left Alive is the only recently made movie I’ve seen that has nudity but it’s romance focused; other movies either went full horror direction focusing on violence and gore, or can’t be stronger than PG-13 rated superhero style movies (Morb, Dracula Untold)

Mortal Charlie

-When you had proposed the idea of a sleepover, Charlie surprisingly agreed quicker than expected. Doesn't mean they were on board the moment you said it, they just didn't need as much convincing that you thought they would need.

-It was definitely held at your house. Charlie didn't want to risk having you meet their father.

-They had never been to sleepovers before. Mike had never invited them as he thought he overstepped boundaries by doing so. That and the two of you were closer and had known each other longer. So, Charlie was more comfortable and familiar with you.

-The one thing that stood out to them the most is how homely your house felt. It made them feel safe and relaxed when they entered. At first, they weren't sure if they would be comfortable coming over to your place. But now, they wish that they could permanently stay. (Even if your house was a bit messy, it still felt more like a home than their own house)

-Charlie's enjoys watching fantasy or romance movies. If it's a combination of both, it's better. So, naturally you got your hands on all the movies that fit those genres. (So, in the second game Charlie was cutting paper dolls from a movie called 'Edward razorhands'. Irl, It's actually a movie called Edward Scissorhands and is a fantasy romance movie. So, I figured they might be into those kinda movies).

-You guys also end up DIY-ing those paper dolls. Charlie instructs you on how to do so, since they have practice.

-It felt weird to charlie, how they were allowed to walk around the place without having to worry about their father catching them. To be able to eat anything without their father saying something hurtful. So, when you bought a heap of junk food, they felt... odd. But, they also felt safe. Safe that you were with them right now and that it was just the two of you.

-After your fantasy/ romance movie marathon, you two decided to watch a horror movie. Now, if you are someone who is easily disturbed by those, Charlie can help out with that. They have a really witty and sarcastic sense of humor so, expect them to make fun of every villain in the movie.

-But if you are someone who ain't afraid of horror movies, the two of you end up banding together and insulting everyone. Even the hero. The two of you could be the new cinema sins.

-Charlie ends up falling asleep next to you. Even though it's a sleep over and no one really sleeps at those.

Ghost Charlie

-The best combination is having a ghost come over while also having a sleepover. Luckily you got both.

-Charlie might suggest watching 'Edward razorhands' because of nostalgia. That, and they need someone to rant to about it.

-If the two of you watch horror movies with ghosts in them, expect Charlie to criticize it. Or, praise it (but very rarely). Their complaints would mostly be, 'That's not what ghosts do.' or 'Pretty sure an actual ghost would just do it this way.'

-So, if you worked in the underworld office, or if Charlie ever learned how to separate mortals and their souls from the others, you can expect to go flying around the city with them. You may even pull a few pranks on people, or just try getting some flying lessons from Charlie.

-You end up experimenting if Ouija boards really work with Charlie's help. And they end up keeping a close eye out for any accidental summoning of monsters.

-Instead of them falling asleep, it's you. They end up tucking you in and keeping an eye out. Just in case.

Well I'm glad you enjoy the Jane content, because I enjoy writing it~

Jane:

Halloween is absolutely her favorite time of the year, and there are no arguments to be had about it. She changes up her wardrobe for her costumes and spookier themed outfits, she does her makeup a whole lot more, especially with gorey looks thrown in, and if you'll let her, she'd love to do a Halloween horror look on you too. Halloween is when her mischievous side shows through, and one of her favorite things to do, especially with you, is to go around scaring people in the Underworld, or even in our world. It's the one time of the year that her self-imposed burn scars don't bother her as much, and she'll throw on some extra makeup to make herself look more disfigured, and be giddy with joy as the two of you go around scaring people.

Brian:

One of Brian's favorite things to do is carving pumpkins. My Brian also does wood carving as a hobby, so when it comes to pumpkins, he's quite artistic with it and loves doing it with you as well, regardless of how the pumpkins turn out in the end. He'll set them up on display outside, and maybe use the leftover pumpkin to make a nice pumpkin pie with you. Brian would also probably love to spend the night with you curled up, watching a Halloween movie marathon, snacking on candy, and passing out candy to the various trick or treaters in the Underworld. It's an uneventful night, but it's extremely domestic, which is what Brian craves, and really, to him, it doesn't matter what you do, so long as you do it together.

Not that I could really do a marathon lol but basically it would be vampire movie night with Dracula Untold and all the Underworld movies 😌

Forspoken looks pretty cool and interesting and I think we preordered it; I also can’t wait to buy Project Diva Mega Mix at some point ajdbd seems fun
