it was hard not to be emotional when he's gotten blessed with you by his side

would probably be a bit nervous

like he knows you are an idol as well but you haven't worked together before

he doesn't want conflict to arise from this

but he is also really excited

is hoping for it to be centred around dance

purely just because he wants to impress you

is a little nervous when it's revealed to be vocal and dance because he thinks you're a better vocalist than him

but you make sure he knows he has a beautiful voice to listen to

you are such a point of comfort for jisung

if he's ever feeling down or insecure all he needs is to hold onto you and feel you stroke his hair and it's like everything's okay again

doing this collab with you was such a confidence boost that jisung wasn't expecting

you brought out the best side of him no matter what you were doing

and jisung knew nobody could love the way you two loved each other

VENTI - Humming Along To The Music

From the moment you stepped inside to the moment you leave. He will be humming. Tapping his finger to whatever royalty free song is playing over the speakers. You used to asked him why he never listened to his own music when you were shopping.

"But if I did that, then I'd be ignoring you. Isn't it better to be together in the moment?"

"Yeah, in the moment of Funky Town for the thirtieth time? I'm flattered."

It gets worse with every trip. It slowly evolves into mumbling the lyrics, then singing the lyrics out loud, swaying along to the music, and sometimes full on dancing with no remorse. Not a single bone of shame in his body, and you have to watch your boyfriend shake his ass while you facepalm.

"I am never taking you shopping again."

"We both know that's a big fat lie, babe. You love having me around~"

God, you hated his smug grin. Let this shopping trip be done as soon as humanly possible.

XIAO - Carry All The Groceries/Steer The Cart

He will always man the cart. Don't you dare take it away from him, he has pouted at you before when you absentmindedly grabbed one and started shopping.

You seriously have no clue why he enjoys it so much, but you can't complain, it gave you time to actually focus on picking what you wanted. And you didn't have to worry about navigating traffic in the aisles. But he will nudge the cart into you when you're taking too long, you'll always turn back to meet his glare.

"Are you done yet? We need to get a move on."

"Hey, I am the chef of the house. If you don't like how I pick the ingredients, you can cook for a change."

That'll usually shut him up. He'll still silently nudge the cart into you though, after a while you get the idea and pick up the pace. When you finish shopping, he will always take the heavier bags. Even when you offer, he insists that it isn't an issue and leave you with the lighter bags. Sometimes nothing at all.

You appreciate his help, not like you wanted to carry them anyways. You still have to scold him about being delicate with the eggs.

KAZUHA - Cannot Decide On What To Take

"Baby, for the love of god, please pick a thing and stick with it!"

You've been in the aisle for over five minutes, he can't decide on what kind of rice to buy. This isn't a price issue. Kazuha's stuck thinking in the longterm: What kind of rice is best? Should we buy a bulk bag to last longer? Which type will work best with dinner tonight? (It's Jasmin. Always Jasmin. Cheap and reliable.)

You don't care! You just want to be in any other aisle but this one! But you're being hypocritical, you've done the exact same and everytime he'll give you a specific look. Nothing else, not a frown, not even a smug grin, just a look.

"Okay, but why does this package say sugar-free but it has the same level in the nutrients on the back?" You pause and glance over, you frown. "What?"

"I haven't said anything, dear."

"You don't need to. I know that look, it's Kazuha for I'm Judging You."

HEIZOU - Comparing Item Prices

He's the type of person to lay out all his options and pick the cheapest one with the best quality. There may be meat on sale today, but he knows it's only because they're going to expire soon. This can be useful at times, no need for bottom tier food in your household.

But that's not the worse of it. Like many middle aged home owners, he will deliberately check for mistagged items so that he can get them at a discount price. There's an air fryer he's been eyeing for months that's too expensive for a leisure purchase, until the day he spots that it's been mistagged for thirty dollars cheaper than normal.

"Heizou, honey, we can just wait until it's actually on sale..."

"Ah ah~, the price labelled is the price offered. I will be taking my prize!"

"You're insufferable."

You're at the checkout, silently apologizing to the cashier and manager that are trying to find a way out of this predicament. Unfortunately for them, he gets the airfryer. And unfortunately for you, he doesn't stop using it for a loooong time.

WANDERER - Buy Old People Snacks

He doesn't like sweets. He visibly cringes everytime you pass by the bakery section or candy aisle, and you have a horrible sweet tooth that can never be quelled.

However, he's gotten into the habit of picking up dried cranberries of all things. Now, usually you don't pass judgement on his choices, despite him making it clear he doesn't care if you. Regardless, you can't help poking fun at him every once in a while.

"Pfft, nice choice granpa."

"Shut up, you shovel junk down your throat like it's your day job."

"Yeah, but at least I act my age."

"You mean five?"

If you ever, and I mean ever, try to take some for yourself. He will smack your hand away and give you the nastiest glare. Don't bother with whining or fake tears, you should've thought about that before insulting his food choice. You won't be able to steal any of his food for a good month.

AETHER - Asking Permission To Buy Stuff

You have no clue where it comes from. Before you started dating him, he and Paimon were impulsive spenders. They used to empty literal shelves and have more food then they knew what to do with (Paimon usually ate most of it in record time). But now, when you're heading down the aisle, he'd sheepishly hold a box of cereal, maybe cookies, or even fruit snacks- and give you the biggest puppy dog eyes possible.

"Aether, you are a grown man. You can buy whatever you want."

"Really?"

"Yes! Buy ten of 'em if you really want to!"

Okay, maybe that's a bit overboard. But you needed to exxagerate to make your stance clear. Maybe he was trying to be considerate of you? But you always split the bill when it came to paying for groceries, a couple extra dollars wasn't going to kill you. Especially not with your shared salaries.

But if you're not careful, Paimon might end up eating you out of house and home. So maybe he had the right idea about clearing these choices with you first.

How do you feel when you watch the spin off? What do you think of it? And do you like it? For me, I sort of like eps 1-4, the rest are just meh, I couldn't bring myself to care for the other characters, I tried. And I was very confused, what year the spin off?. It started off good and... Idk. All I can say is that Andres truly belong in the asylum. That man creeps me out. If I were Camille, I ran away the second I saw that creep. Lol.

Hello anon! I couldn't answer you earlier because I didn't get to watch it. But now I've finished it and, hum, I certainly have a lot of thoughts that I'll probably post later LOL.

For now, here are the most fresh on my mind. I agree with you- eps 1-4 were surprisingly good, last one was pretty cool too, ralicia supremacy. I was mostly just surprised I didn't dislike it. Can't say I loved it, or that it's my ideal berlin spinoff, but for all the "factors" against it that Pina chose of his own free will asdfasdf, it turned out surprisingly OK.

Spinoff takes place around 2013, according to Pina. Which messes with the canon timeline so much we'll just have to see it as a parallel universe where time doesn't matter.

I now call spinoff!Andres my wife. I don't know if that's a good thing or not. So unfortunately, I cannot slander my bride like that.

But I liked that he was still a freak. The show didn't try to make him a better person thankfully, but I think a lot of the reviews were complaining about him being an asshole or complaining that he was ruined for not being enough of an asshole, missed the mark a bit. The main problem, if we have to pick one, about him, is that the context around him is too shallow to take seriously. His speeches about love have no substance (and they actually did in lcdp) because the circumstances have no substance. He's putting romance above the heist because well, why shouldn't he lmao? There's no personal stake here, and it's not like he'll get capital punishment for getting caught.

And that "problem" extends to everyone else. Their motives and actions are just very shallow and There for the sake of being there. Like Roi and Cameron could have had a moving romance, but instead Cameron made me cringe very badly with how much she felt like Alex Pina's idea of "hawt gurl with sad past!!" And said "sad" past was actually really fucked up but the story didn't seem to think so!? It wasn't a tragic romance--it was a 20-something musician sleeping with a 15yo fangirl, abducting her, and then traumatizing her so badly she entered the asylum and ended up hanging out with berlin. Like????

I'll say I misunderstood Keila though. Liked her a lot better in the show than the trailers. But everytime I went "oh, I like her uwu" she'd do something that makes me GAG like inhaling Bruce's sweat or licking his spoon asdfasdf Also the part where she confessed her love for him after the snake bite gave me secondhand embarrassment. None of the love stories felt lasting, believable, or touching to me. Probably because there were too many of them and it was even more convenient than lcdp proper!

Bruce was different than I expected. He's insensitive, but not "dumb" like the character descriptions made him out to be. Same as Keila. Everytime I thought "I like him uwu" he'd do something like talk about pubic hair or cover himself in oil/water, instantly making me die.

Damian is Sergio 2.0 and also Martin 2.0, but straight and old. No strong feelings for him either way. But it was funny that Andres got so mad about sharing a bed with him, when he was willingly hopping into bed with Martin LMAO. Also ngl, it stung my little berlermo heart to see Damian and Andres sing karaoke and go on a lover's bike ride together.

Roi was my favorite new member. He felt like a real original character, and his relationships with Cameron and Andres were nicely fleshed out even if they both confused me. Cameron because the romance was shallow to me. Andres because Roi never told us how they met or why Andres took him in. Andres giving Roi advice on temper control is also hilarious. We'll just have to assume that Andres is willing to raise everyone's kid except his own. He even took that one boy to the bathroom asdfasdf

But overall, I agree anon. I just didn't care for the new characters the same way I did the old gang or the cormorants. Maybe because the stakes were too low or because they were always beautiful and perfect (except Damian lol) no matter the situation. I personally think the producers were trying very hard to create new stars with this show, so they aggressively showed off Pina's flashy new blorbos (cameron, keila, bruce, and roi) but you can't force popularity. This is also my conspiracy theory for the lack of Sergio- they knew having the profesor here would take too much attention from the flashy new blorbos.

Not much to say about Camille. Was hoping she'd be cooler/smarter than this, but what kind of smart woman would not see the red flags in Andres LMAO. Wasn't surprised when Polignac turned out to be an asshole either- man just has the face of a jerk. Was disappointed that they didn't have a threesome with Andres. And the smartest person was Camille's friend.

Lastly, SAME ANON LOL Andres was an insane stalker, off the wall crazy and so annoying about it too. I wish Camille would have slapped him in the end, but oh well- at least their storyline didn't end as stupidly as it could have. She got her money at least XD Hopefully she's not dumb enough to reunite with him (and if she's wife no. 4 we know it didn't work out already).

Does the show deserve a season 2? No. Will I watch season 2? Yes LOL

꒰⁠ A Glimpse into Fragments ꒱

Just as the rest of the year was shrouded in rainfall, summer was no exception to the same old weather. It was as if clouds never even moved an inch, forever stuck in a loop of nothing but precipitation. The sun did not exist. The skies were never blue. It was all just rain, rain, and more rain.

Summer, in particular, is an interesting story. Meteorologists had reported severe thunderstorms and hurricanes during the season much more frequently compared to any other time of year. A morning news program was not complete without weather advisories, updates about yet another cyclone to hit land before autumn officially arrives, and which areas will be affected most.

“Not again...” Satsuu murmurs in the middle of the broadcast with a tone of sarcasm, not taking the news too seriously.

“Hah! I mean, we had bad weather for an entire year— and still counting! It's all the same thing! Wouldn't that one be too bad?” Lemon takes a sip of warm tea on his mug.

“Yes, but...” Satsuu pauses. Not that they should ignore the warnings, but he does make a point— but he kind of doesn't as well that it is not exactly right. “We should still make preparations, you know?”

“Of course! I wouldn't forget that! It was perfect timing, indeed, because I went out and bought stacks of food the day before yesterday! And good ones that would last long as I recall! Remember that project I told you about? I scrapped it, but kept the batteries and did not open them yet— which means we can still use them!”

“Great! I thought you were eager to be sent away by stronger winds next week.”

Lemon may be slightly reckless with his foolery and whatnot, still, he'll never fail to do something beneficial for everyone even if that act was as simple as opening the door for a customer during times when he was having a light conversation with Muffin and Cupcake in Willow Grove's. It was that characteristic that Satsuu have noted in him. A trait that never changed and left him ever since they were a bunch of children throwing tantrums, nonsensical arguments, and heaps of crying for the slightest reasons here and there. ‘How much has things changed, yet that thing again...’ Satsuu thought, just as she does everytime Lemon was around. She may not have been the best person around him during what she referred to as ‘those old days’, but they have certainly managed to outweigh them to the point where she was no longer perceived as a sort of threat to him.

“By the way, I found out that that movie you kept talking about since last week were to be airing after this. What'd you say about it? Shall we watch? And maybe prepare the popcorn or something?”

“Absolutely!” Satsuu immediately replies, each syllable individually blurted with enthusiasm. “I'll be right back; I'll be cooking them right now.”

And just like that, they settled on the floor like two lazy cats in a regular rainy morning and at that point did time walk backwards, each step reverberating the past to the present's ears. Not only each sound, not only the sound of one's bright and youthful voice before they were ridden by growth, but even the slightest of details, the sunlight's warmth above layers of gloomy heaps of clouds gently reaching toward their skin as Lemon excessively rambles about the very same show they are watching, how the hopeful glimmer in the eyes of those whom were once oblivious children were contagious, how they lack a care in the world whether the song they're singing is out of tune, or how unsynchronized their dances get— when ignorance was bliss.

Unfortunately, all is buried in rust, rubble, and rot. One cannot create the exact environment of a familiar, homesickening smell they had in mind with just their bare hands, or glue together a vase shattered into powder in such intricate way that its original conditions have been perfectly restored, and neither does fixing and reliving what time had written. One can only laugh at it, look at it like a vintage frame, or worse, forget it altogether. But no doubt does everyone grow around them subconciously and despite the impact of time on the nature of life, create subtle yet recognizable fragments embedded in a person's continuous melting pot of traits, like how sand is present in something as pristine as glass.

Again, Satsuu can only laugh. This time though, she was certainly not laughing alone.

This took longer than expected, but here we are nonetheless. There are a bit to unpack here, definitely. Let me give a summary of their backstory in order for this to make sense. I was supposed to write about their backstory in two separate posts explaning their own points of view towars their past interactions.

Satsuu used to bully Lemon during the first and second grade and he saw her as a threat even when she no longer torments him. Enter high school, and Lemon was still a target. Satsuu, who felt guilt for seeing the entire thing repeat, and despite not talking to him yet, gathered evidences and spoke to the councellor. Her, Lemon, and his bullies talked in the office which led to the bullies suspended and a baffled Lemon. A week after that, Satsuu requested him for a talk wherein she apologised and from there, they had conversations and gradually felt comfortable with each other before settling in with their current friends during the fresh years of college.

On a separate note, this is probably the story most parallel to my experiences and it honestly felt awesome using nostalgia as a medium for this as I was able to describe the feelings of both the character and I in deeper detail.

Anyway, YES. I adore their dynamic. Boomer may be more of a douche than he realizes but he's never had to work for anything. He's never really been challenged. Bubbles is his only challenge EVEN WHEN THEY GET TOGETHER, he begins questioning the longevity of what they have because he's reminded that he's not the first and Bubbles has a heart of her own. No matter what he does, because of who she is (not just to him, but in general) he cannot manipulate that. He can not force Bubbles to love him if she falls out of love with him. And that's so world shattering for him because the girl is literally his WORLD. Like no other person could replace her because Bubbles is literally all of who he is. He feels like, if he loses her, what is he? What's his purpose? This is the only thing he's ever built.

Which is really, incredibly sad because he shouldn't think of their relationship like that, but he's so deeply in love with her, for him there really is no other. You could try to hand him "the girl of his dreams" and he'd just... Sort of laugh and turn right to Bubbles because everyone knows, THAT'S the girl of his dreams. It's been so long since I found a show where I genuinely cannot pick a favorite character. Like everytime I get close and I'm like yeah, this one, this one is my favorite. Literally the next scene I'm just like, wait no. This one is. I mean you got

Julie: Badass, strong, fucking amazing at singing (Like seriously, holy shit. When I first heard wake up I was just wide eyed open mouth staring at the screen, completely entranced), just completely rolls with three ghosts popping into her life and even starts a band with them, independent, how she prioritizes Flynn?(like cool she succeeded, got back in the program, but without her best friend by her side? Doesnt mean anything.), and her style? She belongs on a runway I swear.

Then you have Luke: His passion gets me everytime, how he loves with his whole heart and isn't afraid to show it, his boys are his boys and hes not afraid to wrap them in the biggest hugs or just be in their space because he loves them, he loves sharing a mic, especially with Reggie. The way he hypes up Julie, just is literally like "yeah you got hella bars, you can have lead singer", like most guys would actually become a devil at the mere suggestion that maybe someone else should take lead, Unsaid Emily, and of course his big stupid doe eyes that just make your heart melt? His talent with the guitar? His voice? That stupid scarf he wears on his arm? Fuck him for that

Reggie: He just fucking snuck up on me dude, like out of nowhere, silently just stole my goddamn heart and refuses to give it back. Hes just the biggest dork, the way he loves all the Molinas, his flannel he always has with him, that little hop in his step he always has when he plays guitar, that little giggle when Julie and Flynn made up?, the way he fears moving on because "You guys are the only family I have", like way to break my heart Reg. That tank top? His hair? His smile? That note in Stand tall? I'm pretty sure that boy would just throw himself into anyone's arms if it made them feel better, "Look what I learned!", * flattens himself with his bass and then backflips off the chair when Julie's dad comes in* Actual. Alex: Oh man, Alex. It's amazing to see a character that is not defined by his sexuality? Like its mentioned so casually? The slow motion and gay panic when he met Willie? And can I just say that I find myself constantly looking for him during songs, usually drummers can easily get lost in the background but that boy shines at all times. His hair? His eyes? The fucking backwards hat and pink sweater look murdered me everytime I saw it. "I would have followed you anyway." Boy is gay, in love, and not afraid to say it. His relatable anxiety? It's just a part of who he is and all the guys are so supportive. His first instinct is always to make sure everyone else is doing okay. The way he seems to have the one brain cell between the 3 boys the most but even he has his moments where it's just like "really Alex?" that leave you laughing. His smile. And that look in Stand Tall? Pink tux, white shirt open in the middle, gold chain? And when he finally had his solo in it? Just kill me already

Like I generally, I cant pick a favorite. I probably missed so habits individual things about the boys that just make it impossible to chose. They are all just so lovable, sweet, and the biggest dorks on the planet. It just amazes me that a shows like this can still exist, that it doesnt only revolve one main character, but 4 that you equally love to death. Just...this show has my entire heart, I dont know what I'll do if we dont get a season 2.

I'll be honest,if the weasley kids had a tv show I would have percy as my favourite. Bill aand charlie arent in it so I wouldnt have an opinion (they're obviously hinted at but never there) Arthur's gonna annoy me kinda, molly is really nice but she always compares her kids. Ron (as lovely as he is) can be really mean to percy and just sucky to him. I love Ginny but everyone knows jk made her because "girl power= not feminine traits!1!1!1!" I love her,I love her love for quidditch but I feel like I still clearly see what she represents and that's jks sentiments (like cho for example, as an asian it's never gonna leave my mind). The twins would be great in theory but 2 twins insulting their older brother, burning a hole through their brothers tongue? Pranking everybody ALL THE TIME? I say I love them but seriously if I studied at hogwarts I would loathe them because hey, were in class- prank somebody in a more boring one or after. Also they're way too mean to percy.

Percy is the kinda dude I'd identify with, I hate how his family shames him alot. Sure hes ambitious but at the same time I hate when they bully him for his pride in his prefect badge and his head boy badge, like CMON! Gryffindor traits??? PRIDEFUL like yeah hes gonna be happy because he feels accomplished. I remember getting into model un and I talked about it at dinner time,my siblings got kinda annoyed but did they insult me abt it? No! They understood that this was a big part of my pride. They teased me a little "Haha model un-er" or "your rooms the country your representing right? Oops I dont have my passport" regular happy sibling stuff. You dont insult your brothers pride and joy, it's obvious hes so happy about it.

If there's gonna be a show on the Weasley family, the only interestee Weasley I would be watching is for Percy. Now let's go through every Weasley.

Arthur- at work, never home, if at home in shed exploring muggle things instead of probably bonding with his children.

Molly-would do chores, help children and maybe chat with next door neigbour. A slight chance of bonding with kids. Not very entertaining really.

Bill and Charlie- I mean depends whether they're even there or gone. If they're there they'd probably argue with each other. Maybe we'll get the Bill earring story and Charlie dragon obsession. Other than that maybe sibling bonding which is always good.

Twins- I cannot emphasize enough as to why I wouldn't watch the twins, if there was such a tv show. Each episode they'll probably prank someone most probably Ron and Percy. And then these pranks would get violent and physical and they would still be the saints and Percy the villain.

I mean the twins cause Ron's phobia, almost make him take the Unbreakable Vow (Ron was 5!) and then beat his Puffskein to death.

AND PUFFSKEIN IS AN ANIMAL.

And that's only Ron. If I start on Percy the jokes are endless but let's just end with the twins tried to locked Percy in a pyramid( God knows how old!). Enough said.

Ron- We already have Ron content in the book. Do we really need more? Yes we do but not if it's Ron insulting Percy. And if this show was before Harry and Hogwarts then Ron would be a young child like 9-10 years old and I personally wouldn't be interested. I love Ron but he loses absolutely no moment to insult or bitch about his brother. Plus Ron is whiny. Sometimes.

Ginny- They'll probably make her a Mary Sue who can do no wrong. They would seriously do that and make her a female version of the twins. Sorry not interested in watching her.

When we come to Percy there are so many things we can do. We can see bonding with Bill or Charlie. Percy being a good older brother and helping with nightmares. Percy being his mother's support system. Percy helping Arthur with his work. Percy teaching Ron chess. Percy planning a prank with twins. Percy playing dolls with Ginny.

With Percy you can relate him to everyone in some way or another. We know Molly loves Percy and probably considers him her favorite. Probably. Arthur with the Ministry so Percy and Ministry. Percy going to Bill with help for studies. Percy helping Charlie research about dragons.(Percy telling Charlie his dormmate is crazy about quidditch and asking if Charlie could give him tips and an autograph)

Percy is the only Weasley who I can relate to which makes me love him more. I am an elder sibling, have been constantly insulted by family and friends for following rules and very rarely been put down for being excited for something.

And the whole making fun of Percy is bullying when they're laughing at him and not with him.

These 2 prepositions make all the difference when it comes to teasing and bullying.

And the twins are bullies. They are.

Percy was a constant butt of their jokes and pranks, including bewitching his prefect and Head Boy badges to read Pinhead and Bighead Boy respectively, and sending dragon dung to his office at the Ministry.

This is from the official wikia. People can try to make the twins saint and say it was all good natured and everything. But I will always see the twins as bullies.

And the thing is the twins and Ron never bothered to praise Percy and that just feels wrong. Everytime they talk about Percy it's qn insult. When I talk about my brother to an acquaintance I don't insult him unlike Ron.

I feel that as Percy fans we love him because he is complicated. He isn't like the rest of the Weasleys. He isn't charming or funny. He's just a normal guy trying to do better and Percy fans get it because it's relatable. We can relate to being ordinary. He doesn't have earrings or pranks or a saviour best friend. He's just a guy who follows rules and wants to be successful. Who wouldn't relate with that?

And maybe some of us have been ridiculed just like Percy so we understand. We also understand that this is Harry's biased view and all he has been told about Percy is usually by Ron or the twins who insult him on a regular basis. And Harry is no better! He uses words like pompously like he understands how a person talks pompously?

So I love Percy a lot because I relate to him and I would never in my life apologise for loving such a complicated character.

You had told Yunho about your hypersensitivity right from the beginning and he did his best to research about it, also always asking you questions so that he could be as knowledgeable about it as possible.

With that being said, Yunho would be one to always make the effort to be happy around you because he knows how much you're affected by external mood changes. And if there was anything that had to be addressed in your relationship, he would take it slow and discuss it with you as calmly as possible.

It was hard and exhausting sometimes but Yunho doesn't mind it much because seeing the bright smile on your face brings one to his and its a cycle. All he wants is for you to always be happy so he tries his best to be cheerful too.

"Y/n, I was just playing a prank! Why do you have to be so serious all the time?" Yeosang had decided that it would be a good idea to pull a jumpscare on Mingi, resulting in the taller boy screaming and falling to the floor in shock. You weren't pleased with it at all since you were both startled and worried for Mingi.

"It's not funny, Sang....he could have hurt himself badly when he fell!"

"Y/n, don't get mad at Yeosang, I'm okay." Mingi had tried to ease the tension between you and your boyfriend.

"Exactly, he's fine! What's the big deal here?"

"No, he fell with such a loud thud. It's not okay, Sang, that was so mean of you. And could you please stop raising your voice? It's scaring me....."

It wasn't the first time you had took his joke or prank too seriously and he was starting to find it a little odd.

When things have calmed down later on that night, he made sure to ask you about it and you finally decided to tell him about your hypersensitivity, not wanting to cause any more misunderstandings.

It took a little while for Yeosang to get used to but he started to be more careful of his words and actions around you. It was a little uncomfortable but he loves you too much to leave you over something that could be fixed with a little more consideration and understanding on his part.

San

You were always requesting something from San.

When he was watching the television at home, you would ask him to lower the volume by just one bar. When you were both reading on the couch, you would ask that he flips his pages with his left hand instead of his right, because it was softer that way. When he was out purchasing a new bottle of cologne, you would always wait at least a few stores down the row.

And you always noticed minor differences about him.

Like how he probably didn't put the same amount of fabric softener as you do when doing his laundry because his sweater feels unusually rough. He said it felt the same and shrugged it off as him not caring about the softness of it as much as you do.

But San would always do as you ask, never giving it too much thought. Until one day he realised that you were way too observant.

"Did you spritz your cologne twice instead of thrice this morning?" You had asked San over dinner, and he perked up at your question.

He took a few sniffs at himself before looking at you all confused, "You can still smell it on me? Also I did, because it's running out, is there such a huge difference though?" You nodded softly at his question.

"But babe, why do you seem to care so much about the little details? Do they bother you?" He added on.

"I'm sorry if I've been annoying all these while, I'm hyper sensitive so........"

Everything suddenly made sense to him and he cooed, reaching out to pinch your cheeks, "Babe, you should have told me earlier ~~~ and no it's not annoying at all, as long as you're comfortable, I'll do anything for you."

Mingi

Mingi knew that you were highly sensitive ever since that one time he brought you out to stargaze and you were the happiest he had ever seen anyone. He didn't even think it was possible for someone to be more elated than you were about a simple date at the park. He had asked you whether there was a special reason to why you liked stargazing so much and you ended up telling him that you basically lived for anything pleasing to your senses because of your hypersensitivity.

One thing Mingi doesn't tell you is how much he wants to make you feel loved, because everytime he hugs you or even simply holds your hand, the squeals that come out from your mouth just makes his heart melt. And he cannot be happier that you are able to feel his love for you on at a higher intensity that anyone else he had been with, making him feel so much more loved too.

And as much as he wants to make you feel loved, he's also careful to not do anything that might cause you to be upset because he knows how sensitive you are to negative things. So whenever a violent or sad scenes show on television, he would take your attention away from it.

Wooyoung

Wooyoung had self choreographed a dance and decided to invite you over to the dance studio to watch him. It was a song you had never heard before but when he was dancing, you couldn't help but frown, an itchy sensation building up inside your body. yes, he was hitting the more obvious beats in the song but he was missing out a ton of underlying instrumentals and the textures were all over place.

when he noticed your expression, he immediately stopped to ask, "what's wrong?" feeling a little bad, you sighed and told him honestly anyways, pointing out the smaller beats in the song as the both of you listened to it together. "I can't hear it," he groaned, starting to get frustrated at himself.

"don't worry about it, I know it's hard for most people. I just... I'm hyper sensitive so I could pick up the beats easily and I was bothered by it. I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings, I didn't mean to....."

"No no no, it's fine. If you don't mind, could you help point out the beats I missed to me again?" Wooyoung would smile and reassure you that you didn't upset him. He would also make sure to do his research of hyper sensitivity and be more careful with his volume everytime you were around, making sure that you never felt uncomfortable as much as possible.

Jongho

Jongho found out that you were highly sensitive in one of the worst ways possible. It was your first time taking a ride back to his dorm with him and no one told you that this boy sings his heart out even in the car. You knew that his singing was naturally strong and loud, and honestly it does bother you even when he practices in his studio but you have learnt to bear with it.

But that day, you were already exhausted from the day's events and you just wanted some peace and quiet in the car when he started singing. It didn't take long for you to be driven into sensory overload, starting to feel nauseous and breathless.

Even then, you didn't want to tell him to stop. Knowing how much he loves singing, you were afraid that you would hurt his feelings. It wasn't until you couldn't help but cover your ears with your hands, your whole body shaking that Jongho realised that something was wrong.

After you reached the dorm, he would make sure to talk about it with you to make sure that that day's incident never repeats itself.

Side Track Opinions Part 4: Patton

(Only three boys left! I think Patton may be the side who I’ve seen the least analysis about with regards to his playlist, so I’m excited to look a bit deeper)

1) Campfire Song Song: I don’t think the lyrics are very deep with this one 😂 You’ll find that a lot of Pattons songs talk about growing up, so I just find it fitting that a childhood song that probably brought Thomas a lot of joy is Patton’s first song.

2) Turnaround: Both Patton and Logan have songs from The Little Prince on their playlists, so my mind instantly goes to Logan. The song feels like Patton trying to get Logan out of his own head (““Straight (Straight), how can you be so straight? Life is everything but straight (Straight)” “Now, why don't you sing out loud? The tune you keep inside?”) He loves Logan a lot and thinks that sometimes he takes life too seriously and doesnt have enough fun (“Turnaround, and put your pen down”). Patton wishes Logan would relax and just enjoy life sometimes because he worries that taking everything so serious can be harmful (“How can you be so shy?” “Don't say hello, say hi”).

3) I Got a Name: Patton has trouble with Thomas growing up, we know this from the most recent episode. He worries that life is moving too fast and that he doesn’t know how to handle the change (“Movin' ahead so life won't pass me by”). Despite this, he has so many memories of Thomas’ childhood and he holds them very close to his heart (“I've got a song, I've got a song, And I carry it with me and I sing it loud. If it gets me nowhere, I'll go there proud”). Even though he cherishes these memories, he still thinks hes foolish to dwell on them and doubts he will ever be able to get over those memories (“Like the fool I am and I'll always be” “They can change their minds but they can't change me”).

4) Oranges: This song bothers me... Not in the fact that it’s a bad song or that its hard to understand, but it goes against everything we canonically know about Patton. While on first glance its a silly song about the words oranges and chocolates not rhyming with anything, its deeper meaning is actually more so about hiding away ideas and being afraid to make use of them (“How we take our ideas and put them in storage, But peel back the rind, who knows what you'll find”). If the song is supposed to be conveying Patton’s emotions, then I’m just confused. This song makes me feel like he wants to try out all of Thomas’ ideas and love every part of him, but we’ve seen his distaste for Remus is very obvious (“If you don't open a chocolate, who knows what you get”). I’m still on the train that Patton is the reason creativity split in the first place, so him saying things like these just make absolutely no sense...

5) I Don’t Wanna Pray: Although Patton takes religion very seriously and bases a lot of his morals on his faith, he has some doubts about whether religion can be the answer to everything (“Help me to the sun, hey I'm looking everywhere” “And now I don't wanna pray, no I say I don't wanna pray, no”). Patton has also begun to realize that God has created everything in the world, not just good and love, but also hate and pain (“I love my god, god made love. I love my god, god made good. I love my god, god made hate. I love my god, god made bad”). Perhaps this is shows his willingness to start accepting the darker parts of Thomas.

6) New Soul: Oh this is such a Patton song... Of course theres the obvious: Patton is Thomas’ inner child and encompases a lot of those feelings from Thomas’ youth. He hasn’t quite figured out how to function in Thomas’ more serious, adult life (“See I'm a young soul in this very strange world”). Then there’s lines like “Hoping I could learn a bit 'bout how to give and take” and “Finding myself making every possible mistake” that just feel so Pattony. He’s so lost and confused anymore when it comes to guiding Thomas in the right direction, but he tries his best. We can see that in the newest episode with him trying his less ‘assertive’ guidance. Despite this, he knows that he messes up all of the time and he feels awful for it. Everytime I listen to this song I just think of the “I’m sorry.... Again!...” line from POF.

7) Better Together: Oof... This is a tough one because its so loving and sweet. I find it hard imagining Patton singing to only one person, so I just like imagining him singing to Thomas, Roman, Virgil, and Logan. Patton, as we know, cherishes all of the memories that Thomas has created and that all of them have created together (“Our dreams, and they are made out of real things. Like a shoe box of photographs” “And all of these moments Just might find their way into my dreams tonight” “I believe in memories”). I also though it was super interesting that the song mentions “sepia-toned loving” because Patton’s room has a sepia affect when we see it in Moving On and I think this Patton’s nostalgia and this song go together very well.

8) Vienna: This song is so sad, but so sweet... To me, it’s pretty clear that Patton is singing to Roman (and obviously Thomas as well). He worries that Roman dreams too big and works way too hard in an attempt to acheive those dreams (“Slow down, you crazy child. You're so ambitious for a juvenile” “You've got your passion, you've got your pride, But don't you know that only fools are satisfied?” “Dream on, but don't imagine they'll all come true”). Patton wishes that Roman would be able to relax and just enjoy what he already has because he knows that Roman will only burn himself out in his attempt to accomplish everything he wants to (“Where's the fire, what's the hurry about? You'd better cool it off before you burn it out” “You're so ahead of yourself that you forgot what you need”). Basically, Patton loves Roman, but worries that some of his dreams are impossible to reach and that is hurting Thomas.

9) It’s You I Like: This song is for sure about Virgil or Thomas. I’m leaning more towards Virgil because the next song is also about Virgil. Really all I have to say is that the title says it all. Patton is ready to accept Virgil for who he is, problems and all.

10) Little Shadow: THIS SONG IS IMPORTANT! Patton is the one who brought Virgil out from the dark sides, or at least convinced him to leave for good (“Little shadow, to the night, will you follow me?”). I think this could be a big reason why Janus and Virgil have a lot of bad blood. Janus used to be Virgil’s source of comfort and protection, but one day Patton just decided to fill in that role and do it arguably better? I’d be pretty butt-hurt if I was Janus too. That explains why Janus was honestly such a jerk to Patton up until the end of the most recent episode when Patton accepted him. I think Janus realized just what Virgil must have felt like way back when Patton accepted him. Janus realized that he wasn’t good for Virgil like Patton is and that had to have stung... I guess we’ll see what happens between those two in the future...

11) Sad: What do yah know? Another Virgil song! This one was actually confirmed by Thomas to be about Virgil so that makes it easier to analyze for me 😂. Patton wants to help Virgil get over his pain and history with the dark sides, but he doubt if anything he does is helping (“You're just too good at being sad. I'm just a Band-Aid on a broken heart. Yeah, I'm the best at making you laugh for a breath, and you're back in your head, you're so sad” “Don't know if I'm hurting or helping” “All I wanna do is take the sad from you, But I can't and you wouldn't let me anyways”). It’s sad, its sweet, its very Patton.

12) Oh Heart: Thomas has a crush! Basically this whole song is Thomas singing about being in love with someone and him begging Patton, or his heart, not to make a fool out of him. I imagine Patton get’s really confused and jumbled up whenever Thomas is in love because love can do that to a person! It’s really cute and I honestly overlooked this song on my first couple of listens through the playlist. Here’s just some cute lines I liked: “Who am I kidding? You're the one” “Oh heart, Oh Heart, stop making a fool of me” “You should look at me. Look at me!” “I'm going to make you laugh again”. With this song and Jumpstarted from Roman’s playlist, I’m starting to see just how hard to handle Roman and Patton may be whenever Thomas has a crush 😂

13) The Flame: This one seems really deep, but for the life of me I cannot crack it. To me it just feels like Patton telling Thomas that no matter how dark things get, he can always look to his heart for the answer (“But hold on for your heart to beat inside To be your guide”). I honestly get really creepy vibes from this song. Like Patton is trying to get Thomas to ignore all of the dark parts of him and instead just keep listening to him and him alone (“There will be times that grow darker with the dusk, But light will still remain in us”). This song is just interesting to me because it feels like one of the first instances where Patton believes he has all of the answers and doesn’t need the others help. But truly, I’m not sure what this song is about.

14) Landslide: Did someone say time to cry? Cause it’s time to cry! This is a PERFECT song for the ending of POF where Patton admits to being afraid of growing up and changing. I think this song is Patton singing to Thomas about these exact fears (“Can the child within my heart rise above? Can I sail through the changin' ocean tides? Can I handle the seasons of my life?” “Well, I've been 'fraid of changin' 'Cause I've built my life around you, But time makes you bolder, Even children get older, And I'm gettin' older, too”). It’s honestly like this song was just written for Patton and it makes me wanna cry every time I hear it.

15) Float On: One word... REPRESSION! Not much to say other than Patton ignores all the bad things that happen to Thomas and just tries to act like everything is okay. Not a very good thing to do, but very on brand for Patton.

16) With a Little Help From my Friends: Another song that I hate to take at face value, but I don’t really have any other ideas for what it means. Whenever Patton is feeling down or in a slump, he looks to the others for comfort and support. Think, Logan giving Patton the cat hoodie at the end of Moving On. Those are the kinds of vibes I get from this song.

17) What Makes the World: (edited because I was looking at the wrong lyrics) Basically Patton thinks that love is the answer to everything (“Love makes the world go 'round”). No matter what, no matter how dangerous or serious a situation is, you should always trust your heart (“Oh, I heard to turn away a neighbour, Is living without danger, But that ain’t so”). All in all, Patton has a very unrealistic view of society. He tends to always see the good in people which can be a bad thing sometimes.

18) Somewhere Over the Rainbow: You thought the last song was foolishly optimistic... well youre in for a shocker with this one! Patton basically just goes on and on about how great the world is. I’m honestly starting to wonder if Patton is even capable of criticizing the world and the people in it. It seems like the only thing he can criticize is Thomas. Also, like I said in the last song, I think this creates an interesting dynamic between Patton and Janus: One loves the world world and only ever sees the good in everyone while the other despises it and sees the bad in everything.

19) Golden Slumbers: I feel like this one is way too short to get a huge idea on what it’s about. It seems to me like Patton is just comforting Thomas and reasuring him that things will be okay, despite the changes that are happening in his life.

20) So Long: AHHHH THIS SONG IS SO CUTE! It’s very fitting as Patton’s last song as well, based on the events of the last episode. If you can come up with an argument that convinces me that this song isn’t about Janus, be my guest, but it’ll be hard to do. In the song Patton basically sings about how Janus can be a pain in the butt and really get to him, but they work well as a team and he wants them to stay together as a team (“I won't get too sappy, I had no epiphany, I just enjoy your company” “You test my nerves, It makes me stronger. So can you bother me a little bit longer?” “Because it's been so long since I made a friend like you” “I could dot the I's and you could cross the T's, Cause letters alone are lonely”). Basically I love them, they are great, they are best friends now, and that after credit scene still has me shook over how quickly they just became friends. We stan our divorced dads 💙💛

Nvm I got another rant. About Vernon's voice, vocal Vernon and just well him, again. XD. Anyway, lately I have been watching their old music shows (aka anything not from 24h) and their cover of mamamoo 너나 해? HIS VOCSLS???? LIKE EXCUSE YOU SIR THOSE ARE SMOOTH AF. I swear to lord I just wanna swim in his vocals. His vocals plus the vibe of the sing is a perfect match. Like seriously, I cry, I weep, it's so beautiful. Also in case you didn't realise I go feral for rappers when they pop off but

but today we speak of vernon! vernon the cute baby boy who was embarrassed of his singing voice in 2016, now improved so much and ever confident of singing. and his voice is GOOD. i’d like to thank the members for being his hypemen and helping him gain confidence.

rapper vernon tho? unmatched. no one in the industry like him. vernon’s voice is SO FLIPPING UNIQUE that no one can replicate it and that’s why his voice is so distinct and recognizable. and yes, rapper vernon is H.O.T. especially when he growls 🤤

as someone with 2 ults (vernon and kihyun), i can assure you that your metaphor is ABSOLUTELY CORRECT. they’re sharing a house, even tho it belongs to one. like your ult list will have an ult and that will be the ultimate ult, get it? i may not be explaining this right but yes

1. Nicknamed “tofu”. “Pure tofu”, “ondubu”, they all refer to him. Uses the introduction “I am only~you~ Onew” taught to him by Leeteuk and at times, switches to “Hello, my name is Michael Jackson(sincerely)!”

2. Feels shy about presenting himself to people, and because of it, he did not dare to participate in auditions. When he was a trainee, everyone else seems to be improving everyday, while he seems to be staying stagnant and not improving, that to him is the saddest period of his life up till now.

3. When performing on stage for the first time, he could not see anything in front of him, and even forgot the lyrics before going up on stage. But he thought of his parents who were sitting in front of the stage, he thought “Yes, I must look for them”, and thus calmed down gradually.

4. The Leader who commits the most mistakes during practices; the Leader who feels respoonsible for the group and solves problem, the Leader who will just zone out from time to time, the Leader who still stays strong despite sporting swollen, red eyes under the glaring lights, the Leader who cries in the car secretly after getting injured.

Because he loves R&B and Hip-hop too much, he wishes that he can shine forever (like bling bling). If you want it difficult to call that, “Hey Bling” can be used, thats what the members call him.

3. Will tend to talk at a really fast speed when he gets nervous, but because he talks a lot usually, nobody ever notices that habit of his.

4. There is no shortcut to acheiving perfection, just hard work and more hard work, if he is unable to take it, he will hide in the toilet for a cry, and then continue to work even harder during practice.

5. Has a lot of charisma on stage, but is very endearing and fun to be with off stage, before debut, he chats with Taemin everyday when returning home, is the member who is the most unanimous with his relaxation and lifestyle.
