Another annoying thing about top surgery recovery is caring for the scar

I'm perfectly happy wearing the silicone scar tape all the time, but I kind dread washing and reapplying it everyday (I have to keep an eye on it bc the patched seem to move around and then I gotta adjust them which is annoying)

#and showering every day too #i used to shower like twice a week #and whats extra annoying is that i have to ask for help turn on the shower bc its one of those pull out to turn on ones #and the handle is sticky and doesn't like to move and you really have to pull hard to turn the thing on #also don't come at me like 'you don't normaly shower everyday?? ew'#i live in a desert and there has been a drought for multiple years #you do not have to shower everyday if you are not getting dirty and/or sweating everyday #most people shouldn't wash thier hair everyday either the shampoo is bad for it if used that often #uhg i have like 3-7 more weeks of this routine #i 100% don't regret it but i am bitching

I started relistening to Nightvale and am at The Sandstorm episodes. I know my middle school self listened to this and I don’t remember the sheer horror of Desert Bluffs. Both towns are hella fucked. We have 1984 dystopia + Twilight Zone in Nightvale and Capitalism + Berserk grimdark horror in Desert Bluffs.
