-Lilith house could show why someone wants to possess and “tame” you :

In 1st you just exude Lilith energy and a lot of mascs see that as a challenge -a challenge they want to feel dominate over (a fool’s fallacy tbh); 2nd your physicality is striking and they want it all to themselves; 3rd your fierce intelligence and academic reputation; 4th your nurturing abilities and how you exude dark femininity but you could be someone who could take care of them; 5th you seem totally wild and carefree and you know how to have fun; 6th your health and your passionate work ethic that make you come across as unstoppable; 7th I thought of that lyric “I’m so indecisive/ you can’t cuff me but I’m wifey” a lot of people see you as someone that will balance them out perfectly; 8th your s*x appeal and how your raw energy seems totally intoxicating; 9th your worldly air and how no one can stop you from speaking your truth; 10th your polarizing but memorable and powerful impact in public- you give off boss babe energy in such an effortless way; 11th how you seem like you have a lot of haters or ride or die friends; 12th your addictive aura and otherworldly untamable energy.

-Crazy Ex Girlfriend: a musical comedy tv show, it’s like a fun deconstruction of trying to live like you’re in a romcom. (So it’s really about mental health and all that, and it’s funny!)

The most common thing I have seen is that this placement (along with scorpio Venus and Venus-Pluto aspects) is s*xualised and glamorised a lot. While it is true, that this placement gives an alluring and interesting aura, it’s not just that. Venus 8th house people have to offer so much more!

A lot of my friends and family members share this placement and we all share one thing: the ability to love so deeply that it hurts. This ability can also turn toxic or even turn into obsession if this placement is underdeveloped.

A lot of 8th housers also stay with people for longer than they should. Most of the times they have outgrown some situations or people, but they refuse to let go because of the feelings they feel. I’ve also been trough that many times. In hope that the spark will come back or that the people involved would change.

A common thing I’ve seen is that it is really hard to let go of people they love. I’ve seen this in friends AND family members that they just can’t let go of certain people where love was involved. For me, it’s still that one guy who I haven’t talked to for 5 months now. In the end, he hurt me. But he showed me what it’s like to be loved. I am still not over him and I know it will take some work to let go of him. With him, I experienced what I envisioned as love between two beings.

Venus in 8th house people are (like other 8th house placements) able to read people like a book. The gut feeling about others is never wrong. Intuition is high.

On the other hand, this placement can bring a lot of hate and resentment from women (no matter if the individual is male or female). A lot of jealousy from other woman which makes it hard to find out who will stab you in the back when you’re not around. This can also lead to trust issues in friendships!

Feeling emotions so intense that it may be difficult to word them. Something that helped me was to find a creative way to let them out. Writing, painting or creating music are wonderful activities.

Red and darker colours look wonderful on these individuals (yes, this can vary depending on the rest of the chart and genetics)

Underdeveloped Venus in 8th house can make someone prone to be a pick me or a real meanie.

Either these individuals had some point of being bullied in teen years or them bullying others.

Constant feelings of so much depth. Whenever I’m around other 8th housers I feel so understood. It’s like a warm hug. We just know what you’re feeling.

Oh, wow! You probably have no idea just why you want them so much. In more unfortunate situations, the planet person can give you nothing tangible and maybe even be breadcrumbing you, but you just can’t get enough. It’s like, they can give u nothing and you’ll still pick them over other people who are trying to give you the world. You want to figure them out and enter their world, especially because there is something “inaccessible” or “mysterious” about them. You want to know how they think. This is especially true from the house person’s perspective. With 12H synastry, I always learn soooo much about myself and my unconscious desires and tendencies (whether as the planet person or as the house). I noticed that Mars and Venus in the 12H of a synastry or composite chart can indicate this relationship might start off as an affair or 3rd party situation.

Of the placements mentioned here, my least favorite to experience was definitely Mars in the 12th. I had read once that this placement can create blockages in being able to have s*x with one another, and that’s exactly what I experienced. It’s like you get so close but just can’t for some reason. Could lead to performance issues at the start of a s*xual relationship, in some cases. I noticed it’s super easy to feel vulnerable with the mars person as the 12th houser, but it’s not consistently reciprocated from the mars. Mars can notice everything about the 12H person, and can try to force them to talk about it or they have to point it out to them. In an unhealthy dynamic, the mars can get gratification at how weak the 12H becomes for them. In the positive, it’s crazy how the mars person can teach you what you like s*xually. They can learn your body extremely fast. It’s like your body and mars are having a conversation that you are left out of but get to enjoy the rewards of it. I never got to have s*x with mars, but the way he would touch my body and explore me made me literally c*m from kissing. It was the craziest thing I ever experienced and was super shocked LMFAOOO (TMI, sorry). I’ve never experienced that again in my life. Mars can have different ideas about spirituality than the 12H, and will be down to debate why they have certain beliefs. It can be super easy for mars to hurt 12H’s feelings. I don’t know why this placement can make the 12H person more submissive than they are with other romantic partners, but it does. The mars can sometimes fight to be in your life, but once they are there it seems like they can panic and leave after they’ve brought destruction you have to live with. Sometimes I felt like I “irked” the mars person on a subconscious level even though I was always nice and sweet with him. He would be super nice with me and then one moment make a snarky comment or just switch up completely without warning. I sometimes felt like he wanted to like me, but a part of him somewhat disliked for reasons unknown to him.

Sun in the 12th house synastry has potential to be nice. I feel like this is a placement where you guys can recognize something inexplicable in one another. “Yeah, I know exactly what you mean.” I think this leaves nothing off the table, and all topics are fair game. You can find a lot of unconditional acceptance with one another, even with the parts you might hide from others. The 12H person might feel instinctually comfortable expressing their quirks or behaving the same way they are when there’s not a soul in sight when with the sun person. “Let’s be alone together.” The sun brings light and warmth to the dark nebulas the 12H person swims in. The sun person can probably help the 12H person come out of their shell and show themselves to the world. The Sun person might want to lift the 12H person up. The 12H person might also see through the persona the sun person can let off. The sun person could confidently feel like they have the house person figured out, but the 12H person’s foggy neptunian energy can always catch the sun by surprise and they realize they didn’t dig as deeply as they thought. The 12h person can teach the sun person to be more introspective and can teach them how to appreciate time to themselves. 9) Worst part of The Boys canon

CW warning in this paragraph, but I despise The Deep for SA-ing Starlight (Annie January) and I despise *Homelander (John Gillman) for SA-ing William “Billy” Butcher’s wife, Rebecca Saunders. I have to put an asterisk next to HL though because it depends if Kripke decides to make TV canon follow comic canon where it turns out the “Homelander” who had SA-ed Butcher’s wife was actually Black Noir aka Homelander’s clone. I mean, I get why they went with the women getting s*xually assaulted (shock value, and to show that even superheroes in high positions can abuse their power) and they were able to make me discomforted which means they were successful at getting me to feel sympathetic for the victims and dislike Deep and HL (I’m neutral to Deep tbh but because of S1E1 I can never stan Deep on principle…but I get why there are people who thirst after his character; he’s the comic relief side character who’s amusingly pathetic and the actor who plays him is conventionally attractive).

Ironically though Homelander is a fun character to write as a milk-obsessed psychotic narcissistic sl*tty manchild who needs to be spanked (*coughs delicately* bullied *coughs*). So knowing comic canon, coupled with a writer and reader bias, has softened my stance on HL. He’s not quite my homicidal babygirl that I will defend to the grave, but I do have a soft spot for fictional crazy yanderes.

Another part of canon I’d say I don’t like is…we all know the pain that is awaiting us at the finale. It ain’t a happy story. It’s a Shakespearean tragedy—with the anti-capitalist commentary on the establishment/ system in place being the true enemy. It’s gonna be the whole Plato’s Cave Allegory.

And only Hughie (and Annie?) is going to be the survivors in the end. Yaadaa yaadaa about how power corrupts. How Hughie was the only one who broke from the cycle of revenge (notice how his fiery motivation to avenge Robin seems to be dwindling with each episode?), and how he’s going to use this as a learning experience to not follow in Butcher’s footsteps.

Watch. It’s my show prediction. But you can’t tell me it isn’t very likely the show won’t go in this direction. I’m anticipating a bittersweet show finale (personally I’d make Ryan perish towards the end so it can serve as the straw that broke the camel’s back and make Homelander go off the deep end):

But it’s very possible Kripke chickens out from the absolutely devastating annihilation of all The Boys main cast (save H+A) and preserves Ryan’s life in the end as an emotional send-off for Hughie and Annie to raise (because it also presents an opportunity for the writers to tug at our emotional heartstrings by making a S2 callback to Billy’s promise to Becca to protect her son; he protects Becca’s son from Homelander and from himself, leaving Ryan in the hands of the people who Billy can trust to take care of him in his stead and to give the boy the life that he deserves which Billy cannot provide for him). It all very much depends on the writer’s intent—and which option that the showrunners will think can make the largest impact.

2) A compelling argument for why your fave would never top or bottom

I would like to start this off by saying I have a wonderful and loving caregiver now, he takes very good care of me. But prior to him, I had another caregiver who wasn't.. so nice.

People always told me to be careful of the people I talk to online, but honestly you all have been much sweeter then this person I met in real life. I fell in love with a girl who loved the same game as me, so we loved the same fandom. We started roleplaying and chatting, and becoming great friends, finally when we started dating it was fantastic, or so I thought.

little by little things changed, and she was forcing me to do things that I thought I was fine with, but after they where done I felt sick. the line was drawn when I attempted a face call with them when I was regressed.

at this point in our relationship I told them about my regression. and they offered to be my caregiver, (grant it she never did anything about it, she just 'liked the title' I guess...) . anyway. she was watching me do my little stuff, and then after the call she texted me.

"not gonna lie I'm kind of h*rd" I was still little. what made this worse is that I was s*xually abused as a child, so yeah, needless to say I was feeling distraught.

my friends tried to warn me about them before, always asking if I was ok, but I would always crawl back to her, because as she said, "who else is going to take care of you?" so, all this to say, please please please be careful. Because my brain conjured a speech for Mel and I might write it down and put it in one of the finishing chapters of Through the Wall. I'm writing them out of order anyway. Mel is very much willing to kill Chandler in this situation, but I don't know how that would realistically go down, because Chandler is probably, at least technically, stronger than Meliodas - especially since this is pre-Holy War. And because Mel just disobeyed a direct order from the demon king in order to, hopefully, prevent unnecessary loss of life from the Indura attacks, if you remember that. So an idea on how Meliodas would realistically kill him, or least make him submit to his authority from now on - which is more what I'm going for, since I like to aim for my daydreams to be as canon-compliant to both canon and whatever fanfiction universes I want them to fit into as possible - would be of great assistance.

I also saw a few tweets referring to his encore + in-ear situation, but I ignore every single one of those tweets, because there's not one person in that thread who can confirm, without a doubt, that their idol has not had a shaky vocal performance. As someone who did professional singing lessons, it's not entirely realistic for a singer to be at 100% all the time, especially if they've been doing weeks of promotions, studio recordings, and running on little sleep. Every vocalist has 'bad' vocal days, but that doesn't make them bad singers. I also draw and I've had several bad art days, but that doesn't mean I'm a bad artist just because I couldn't draw the way I wanted to at one point in time.

Yes. Yes I think we should have had more than just the one-off of her experience. If hey were gonna do that to Steph, I'd like it explored as an actual point of trauma that nearly led her to the brink of killing him.

In that way, anon, Steph ALMOST did try to get payback. I'm happy she did not, even if it came at the price of her own "death", because fundamentally Steph as a character has been shown to forgive and forgive and move on and hope and endure.

I don't want a story where she goes tracking him down to get a taste of what he did to her, or hope that he gets what's coming to him because that turns her into a character like Jason Todd which is a fundamental misunderstanding of who she is DESPITE all her tragedies. She's not a revenge seeker.

HOWEVER.

I do wish her trauma was explored more. That she opened up to Tim or Cass or perhaps even Bruce about it. There's the implication that he may have s*xually assaulted her alongside his physical assault of her. The girl went through some absolute hell and the fact that she just doesn't talk about that again, is insane. Her Batgirl arc could have been an interesting place to dig into it a bit as part of what she was learning to put behind her, since that experience was extremely traumatic. It should have been addressed more.

She's a good person, and she's been literally ripped apart and she still comes back as a bright ball of light, more keen on bringing hope to others than to become a dark, hollow shell of herself. So in conclusion: Yes to exploring her feelings, no to seeking revenge.

There’s something very off putting about Amber Heard’s testimony yesterday - it sounds extremely rehearsed, and not particularly well-performed. There’s too much detail, given it’s something that happened nearly a decade ago now, like she’s written a story and memorised it. There’s so many inconsistencies that don’t line up, like apparently comforting Lily Rose and “protecting her” when we know that girl hated Amber and even wrote a letter to Johnny about how bad Amber was for him, and multiple times Amber had to be told that what she was saying was “hearsay” and wasn’t allowed. It was also like watching someone overact in a play - the over-exaggerated facial expressions but no tears, she was smirking several times but then realised and quickly changed her expression. She keeps on repeating things like “I thought he was my soulmate” “I wanted to save him from himself” etc, which is a whole other can of worms in itself. Just like Dr Curry said in her own testimony, Amber uses overflowery language that doesn’t really carry much substance, and switches quickly from calm recollection to emotional highs really quickly.

Anyone with acting experience can tell she’s acting - and she’s acting poorly. It’ll be interesting to see what happens when she’s cross-examined and not just reciting a memorised story. As someone who’s done jury duty, I can tell you right now that they’ll be judging every single word that comes out of her mouth, every single piece of body language, and they’ll probably be writing everything that’s been said down so if she goes back and changes her story at any point, it’ll be increasingly obvious that she’s lying. And yes, the jury will also be judging the way she speaks, her background, any medical diagnoses (like BPD and histrionic personality disorder), and even the way she’s dressed every single day, even on days she’s not testifying - and ditto for Johnny.

Her doctor/psychiatrist’s account of Johnny allegedly s*xually assaulting her is difficult to discuss because on the one hand, yes, believe people when they come forwards with stuff like that! And sometimes there’s no evidence of that crime, for whatever reason, and obviously there likely wouldn’t be any witnesses to it except the victim. But at this point, Amber has already been proven to be a liar, and her ex assistant Kate James has even testified that Amber stole her s*xual assault story and twisted it around to use for herself - whether it’s the truth or not, it makes it difficult to believe her unless she can prove without a shadow of a doubt that it happened, which she can’t because it’s just “Amber said…”.

Also, so far she’s brought up two other women who she’s claiming Johnny grabbed by the wrist and threatened… but where are those women then? Why have they not come forwards and testified? Will they be testifying during the trial? There are multiple witnesses who’ve seen Amber hit and throw stuff at Johnny - she needs witnesses who also saw it happen to back her up, or it’s all just baseless claims.

Add this to the fact that she’s claiming three police officers, her personal assistant, Johnny’s bodyguard, multiple nurses and many others are all lying, and that she’s the only one speaking the truth… I know we’re only just getting started on her side of the trial, but her whole case is flimsy.

hey friends! I don’t want anyone to think I’m vague blogging about anyone in particular - this is a general PSA and something I feel needs to be brought up in the rpc more often (and is mostly neglected). but if you write or want to explore plots for your characters where they are sex workers or participate in a form of sex work either rethink that decision or make sure you’re heavily researched and know what tf you’re talking about.

IF YOU ARE NOT CAREFUL… you will write trauma porn (ironically) at the expense of sex workers and potentially perpetuate negative stereotypes and archetypes that keep swers disempowered and marginalised in our whorephobic society. sometimes it feels like people give characters sex worker plot lines because it’s an easy way to also write about their characters being s*xually a*saulted or substance users because swers are perceived to be traumatised drug addicts. this is not only offensive as fuck but it’s just bad writing.

do not use slurs (particularly without context) and I’m talking the words pr0stitute & h00ker specifically to refer to your character and the same could be extended for wh0re. also it shouldn’t have to be explained why these are slurs and offensive to say, educate yourself if you don’t know.

sw types and experiences often varies depending on your social, economic, political, physical and geographical locations, there is no one shared experience or understanding of sw. a lack of understanding on the whorearchy and the way privilege intersects on sex work will perpetuate negative stereotypes.
