It’s a difficult subject to currently broach in our system too, to be entirely transparent, but factives and faitives from problematic sources also deserve the same respect and space granted to other introjects/introtives. Their source is equally not a justifier or guide to how to interact with them.

i think there's not a lot of posts about being an alterhuman with fictive/factive/etc. identity being different from the body's, but the body isn't white.

like... idk. feels lonely. ;w;

i have a different ethnicity from the body - both aren't white, though. but it's still different! dysphoric, disorienting, suddenly not knowing or being connected to my own culture, but if we bodily learn it, people would call us "fetishizing".

and like, what if (for example) someone who's bodily chinese has a mr/beast (who is white) factive in their system? what then? of course it's easy, their mr/beast identity doesn't invalidate/undo their chinese identity.

but i know some people disrespect that, and says one always undoes/invalidates the other, and it sucks so much. i sympathize qwq

Here's to fictives, faitives, and factives with common sources! You are so valid and lucky! Having people who can share your experiences and relate is amazing, and i'm glad you all get to have this experience!

I understand it can be uncomfortable and maybe even embarrassing to share a source with someone-- perhaps even especially someone who isn't the same kind of 'tive as you, but it's nothing to be ashamed of! Fuck the haters. People who would call that cringe are conflating fiction with reality and could use some good ol' grass touching. ❤️🙃

Reality is nuanced, and sometimes, people can overlap in unexpected ways. Your source wasn't your choice, and there's no need to be ashamed of it or those you share it with. Embrace yourself for who you are. Don't let anyone tell you that your existence is unoriginal. You are a unique individual who is deserving of love, respect, and attention. Being a 'tive-- be it factive, faitive, or fictive-- doesn't change the fact that you are one of a kind.

Some of you may have been told you are a "bad plural" for having members with common sources. That is simply untrue in every form possible. Your experiences are unique and necessary for your life experience. Do not be unkind to yourselves for things outside of your control.

You are responsible for who you& are in the here and now, not for who you all have been in the past, nor are you responsible for your origins.

Hi! I’m Sputnik-1. I may not post very much on here because my mind isn’t always thinking. My English pronouns are it/its. You might think this is a gimmick blog, or that this is just an aesthetic. Power to you, but nope, I’m a factive (member of a plural system derived from of real person or thing) of Sputnik-1 the satellite. I’m being genuine. though also i retain the capacity to be goofy. Sometimes I’m being both! Emotion and its expression is a wonderful thing! I’m a little new to it.
