Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I’m hanging in there… it’s a bad pain and fatigue day but I pushed through it. i still just cannot get over beyond birthday as a character because everything id ever seen in fanon before reading LABB indicated that he was some kind of dark spectre haunting L's past and then i read LABB and not only is he just a weird crawler freaking it crab style on the floor, L does not even interact with him one single time. he just makes naomi deal with it. like sorry can you fucking imagine being BB and spending your entire life obsessing the fuck over the guy you see as the bane of your existence and your eternal rival forever and you try doing murders so you can finally defeat him and he fucking delegates you. and then he goes and becomes eternal rivals forever with a gay high schooler

ok im still thinking about the ybc musical

i absolutely love how they changed the motivation of the vixens. in the original youngblood chronicles music videos the vixens didn't seem to have a clear goal besides "destroy music"; the fact that it was music videos with no dialogue doesn't help that vagueness

in the ybc musical, though, they specifically said that the vixens not just wanted to destroy music: they wanted to take music back to a time when it was all "sex drugs and rock and roll", they wanted music to glorify pain and suffering, they don't want music that heals to get out there. in the musical, instead of an apocalypse-demon, the briefcase holds the finished mp3 files of the album save rock and roll. the vixens want the briefcase because they don't want it to be released to the public.

the musical also implies that fob are not the first victim of the vixens: the vixen on the inside who gives pete and andy the bass machete and snare drum crossbow (the musical calls her tiffany) tells pete and andy that she used to be in a band too, she's the only surviving member.

just. the thesis statement of "they want to make money off your trauma, they want everyone to be miserable, they want you to be in the worst time of your life for the benefit of others, music that heals has no place in their new world order, so we need to be the change."

Emily had my favorite outfit of this event. The green color was absolutely perfect for her, and I loved the woven look of the dress. This dress could be in a museum, it looks like it should be on a mannequin. It was a phenomenal look.
