I've been really excited to see the Korean take on the one and only Why R U? from Thailand and it's finally here!! I had my doubts about the original when I first started watching it because of all the extra sound effects but thankfully that stopped before I dropped the show and I'm so glad I didn't.

So, here's to a new journey with the loveable, crazy characters reimagined.

I can see the parallels but I love how Korea does its own spin on things.

So I'm thinking idea behind Claire's original costume was, that is inconvenient/not appropriate for zombie survival :p

I mean, you could argue she still is.

Like... Professional bikers or stunt bikers don't wear that every time they go out for a ride I assume.

The remake costume makes more sense for her to be in casual wear. Unless she came right from a race or stunt show. (And, again, you can put her in this outfit. Though I hated how it looked. Was very confused.)

The tea : Welcome - Year of Ketu and the last year was the year of Venus. Let's is going to be in libra and Rahu  Aries ♈.  Neptune - mystery, illusion, and holograms will take a chance to be more advanced and that robot humanism making a change. Number 7 will show initiation in a way.

 Ketu is headless and just a body  ...whats a body without a mind.  You might find yourself going away from your previous obsessions and going to a new path. Doing things that you thought you never do. Ex. I can find myself wearing more makeup even though it isn't something I would typically care about. 

Ketu on another spiritual side does have that floating aspect of not having the head so the ego getting in the way of your desires. Ketu in Libra ♎ going to feel that way of being over social interactions and just feels that you already experience this before.  A lot of celebrity couples will come out of this.  Behind that act, the makeup, and just people that don't even love others.

Fashion that will be trend corsets, style dresses, and older age fashion. Certain things that get the pressure that will be placed.  That will connect us with people from past issues or previous lives.

 Focus on the Newness and what we were meant to do. Unorthodox energy as well.

Yj girlies but theyre in uni. More close ups & some thoughts beneath the cut!

1. I’m not 100% happy with Cassie’s hero outfit, but I do like the gloves. She’s always punching people so i thought it would be fun if she had some armoured gloves. Also i like the goggles she had in her pre tt03 costumes so i brought them back

2. I miss Anita dc please bring her back. Let her go out and be a hero Maad can look after the kids it’s fine.

3. I headcanon that Greta runs cold as a side effect of being a ghost for so long, so she’ll always dress warmly. Another headcanon is that she uses a cane bc when she was a ghost she was always floating & her body isn’t fully used to supporting itself yet now that she’s alive. It was a lot worse right after she was made human again, but now she’s able move around with just a cane for support.

4. Idk what cissies outfit is i just think she’d like to experiment with cutesy stuff

the thing is there's like, a point of oversaturation for everything, and it's why so many things get dropped after a few minutes. and we act like millennials or gen z kids "have short attention spans" but... that's not quite it. it's more like - we did like it. you just ruined it.

capitalism sees product A having moderate success, and then everything has to come out with their "own version" of product A (which is often exactly the same). and they dump extreme amounts of money and environmental waste into each horrible simulacrum they trot out each season.

now it's not just tiktokkers making videos; it's that instagram and even fucking tumblr both think you want live feeds and video-first programming. and it helps them, because videos are easier to sneak native ads into. the books coming out all have to have 78 buzzwords in them for SEO, or otherwise they don't get published. they are making a live-action remake of moana. i haven't googled it, but there's probably another marvel or starwars something coming out, no matter when you're reading this post.

and we are like "hi, this clone of project A completely misses the point of the original. it is soulless and colorless and miserable." and the company nods and says "yes totally. here is a different clone, but special." and we look at clone 2 and we say "nope, this one is still flat and bad, y'all" and they're like "no, totally, we hear you," and then they make another clone but this time it's, like, a joyless prequel. and by the time they've successfully rolled out "clone 89", the market is incredibly oversaturated, and the consumer is blamed because the company isn't turning a profit.

and like - take even something digital like the tumblr "live streaming" function i just mentioned. that has to take up server space and some amount of carbon footprint; just so this brokenass blue hellsite can roll out a feature that literally none of its userbase actually wants. the thing that's the kicker here: even something that doesn't have a physical production plant still impacts the environment.

and it all just feels like it's rolling out of control because like, you watch companies pour hundreds of thousands of dollars into a remake of a remake of something nobody wants anymore and you're like, not able to afford eggs anymore. and you tell the company that really what you want is a good story about survival and they say "okay so you mean a YA white protagonist has some kind of 'spicy' love triangle" and you're like - hey man i think you're misunderstanding the point of storytelling but they've already printed 76 versions of "city of blood and magic" and "queen of diamond rule" and spent literally millions of dollars on the movie "Candy Crush Killer: Coming to Eat You".

it's like being stuck in a room with a clown that keeps telling the same joke over and over but it's worse every time. and that would be fine but he keeps fucking charging you 6.99. and you keep being like "no, i know it made me laugh the first time, but that's because it was different and new" and the clown is just aggressively sitting there saying "well! plenty of people like my jokes! the reason you're bored of this is because maybe there's something wrong with you!"

yk when you see someone share a finished handmade item that they clearly spent a lot of time and money on and it's just. The absolute tackiest thing you have seen in your life. And then you ask yourself why someone would waste all those resources on such an eyesore.

(no, of course you can't relate to that because you're a much nicer person than me)

i enjoy how in the percy jackson fandom whenever the demigods are being drawn they are given outfits and accesories that play homage to their godly parent (e.g nico with ghouly tshirt motifs, percy with shell bracelets) when in canon these demigods are wearing an assortment of shirts and pants that they find at the bottom of a bargain bin at target, whatever that has not been destroyed in the recent war or camp shirt.
