Can we some grown up lg and mountain interactions? Mountain being all soft because lg will always be his baby 🫶🏻
Mountain pushed the tiny ghoulette into his bed, shoving blankets and pillows to create a nest. When she made attempts to wiggle away he'd shoved her back down, eventually flopping down and holding her as he purred contentedly. Little Ghoul didn't want to cuddle right now, but Mountain was lonely and needed the attention. It was actually kinda nice; just her and her dad as they used to be, before she grew up and the humans considered it 'inappropriate'.
The purr left her throat unbidden, vibrating the air in a higher pitch while Mountain's rumbled in his chest and her back. It made her muscles unclench and her brain shut down. It made her slowly fall into a deep sleep.
Swiss would find them later, curled into Mountain's nest, and leave them be. He was happy they were spending more quality time together. He knew his friend missed cuddling his cub.

Sofia and Rin wake up in their cabin like normal. As Rin is getting ready and preparing some breakfast composed of hoarded pancakes from yesterday, Sofia looks out the window and is completely taken aback. To make sure her eyes aren't playing tricks on her, she opens the front door and takes a few steps out and looks around.
A layer of snow so fresh, it still gently fell down. It looked even more beautiful than before. It's so fluffy and pure. She smiles delighted as she holds her hand out and tries to catch a large snowflake and watch it melt in the warmth of her palm. Her heart is overjoyed, but suddenly a snowball hit the back of her head, startling her.
She turns around to see Rin smirking and holding another snowball, gently tossing it up in repetition. The smile on his face screams that this is going to be their life for a hot minute if she dares accept.
Sofia blinks at Rin before kneeling down and forming a snowball of herself. She comes back up and looks at him, making sure she is understanding the situation correctly. As she reels back-
Rin tosses his snowball right at Sofia's face. Her head leans back from the impact, stunned but still holding the snowball up pre-throw.
"Hahaha! You gotta be more sure than that! C'mon, tap into your wild side and go FERAL."
Sofia stays frozen for a while. Rin starts to feel a little disappointed and just as he lowers his head and sighs-
SOFIA THROWS FULL FORCE AT RIN'S FACE.
Now it's Rin's turn to throw his head back, but it comes back down much faster, more excited.
"THAT'S MORE LIKE IT!"
The two of them start to have a snowball fight first thing in the morning for all to see. Trading blows, Rin rolling to dodge, Sofia diving out of the way and finding cover before quickly retaliating.

i think that raising marceline is not something simon gives himself much credit for due to the terrible circumstances surrounding all of it. he feels guilty for using the crown and for hurting marceline's feelings with his transformation in the long run, so he looks back on his past with her always with the feeling of wishing he could've handled it differently, better (although how, exactly, he's not able to say, as we see when he's left without an answer when fionna questions him about the need of using the crown to keep marcy alive).
this episode with evil marcy, however, made it clear to him that he was way more important to her than he gives himself credit for. he found her when she was a vulnerable child and tried to protect he not only physically, but mentally as well; he made sure to sing and joke and play with her, to keep her as shielded as possible from the horrors of the wasteland surrounding them. he tried his best to give her a real childhood, in short. but left to the indoctrination of a terrible person like the vampire king, that same little girl wasn't allowed this, and was instead molded into someone completely different and much more miserable, still in the shadow of her terrible 'father'

[luckyredeyes] your scars are nothing to be ashamed of.
True she was getting older and was fine with bathing on her own now but at least for now she still didn't mind or wasn't bothered by the odd shared shower now and then.
Plus with hair as long as hers sometimes a little assistance was required.
But of course even with a towel part of the burn was still visible, it had never bothered her much before but.. she found herself feeling uncertain about it being visible. No one had said anything, yet, but combined with her already unusual appearance it was hardly what one would be called 'pretty'.
"Your scars are nothing to be ashamed of"
He told her in response to her reservations of going to the beach, the shirt she used to use to cover up with not fitting any more.
"Everyone thinks I'm weird enough already. And you know how bad I sunburn."

On Loid: Acknowledging Anya's Past
*Spoilers for Spy x Family Ch. 93*
Honestly, after reading this new chapter, I felt really... tearful? No joke I thought I was going to cry. And it wasn't even for anything crazy.
It was because I think this is the first time that Loid has asked Anya anything about her past:
The fact that Endo dedicates a significant portion of the page to this panel shows that it is a really important moment - but not just because it's about Anya's past, which we are all curious about!
I think it's also important because after Loid adopted her and said to call him her father 'from now on', he has not once asked her about her life Before. As far as we know, this is the first time.
I don't even know how to explain why this makes me want to cry. It's like their little secret. Only Loid and Anya know that she is adopted, she promised to call him "Papa" from now on (as though he has always been her father), and she has never slipped. Not once. She has completely dedicated herself to her new life, while he has maintained this distance from her, not once trying to get genuinely closer.
So, him choosing to acknowledge that in private between them feels like quite a vulnerable moment for them. Or at least, a significant moment.
We can guess that, at least initially, he didn't think it was worth asking her about her past because she was just part of the mission, and that she would return to the orphanages after the mission was over. I wonder if this moment is an indication that:
Loid is becoming curious about her past, and perhaps beginning to wonder how it affects her in the present day.
He is becoming invested in Anya as a person and as a child.
Loid has good reason to be curious about her past, but he doesn't know what we know. He probably still thinks Anya is an ordinary orphan.
So onto the second point - why be invested in Anya? Why ask her about her past? Not only is it not relevant to the mission, but it goes against his instincts as a spy. What does he have to gain from asking a child about their life before him? Where is the intel in that?
And then she answers like this:
We don't even see her face.
Endo. Does not show. Her face.
What does Loid see when he asks her about her past? I want to know. And it feels so significant that Endo chose to portray her answer like this, where the majority of her reaction is hidden from us.
Even in the following panels, we only see her eyes:
Loid has his eyes narrowed (tired? suspicious? disbelieving?) while we just see Anya's eyes looking up at her father, with few other clues as to what her expression could be.
It feels like such a tense moment. And I wanted to cry.
Here's hoping that we will start to get more snippets of genuine Loid and Anya moments - and that we start to learn more about her past. (Perhaps alongside Loid?)
