Reason #48234872 Kiibo should've lived: so Maki can have someone to recreate a normal human adolescence with while Himiko and Shuichi go into a state of depressed hibernation for the next half decade...
Honestly I never even thought of this pairing until I started drawing this months ago, but I think they would have an interesting dynamic postcanon. It's hard for them to relate to each other at first — Maki has seen way too much and Kiibo has seen like 0 things in his life ever — but they've both been dehumanized, made to believe they're dangerous,* and barred from participating in "the real world" for most of their lives. And because of that they just want something that is, to use Maki's words, "as vanilla as possible."
Also, they're both autistic straight men and I want to see the hijinks that ensue when you put two of those in the same room.
*Obviously we see Maki being viewed as dangerous by herself and others; I can't even tell anymore if it's obvious that Kiibo shares that experience to some degree or if I'm just too deep in my own Kiibo lore... But here's 2 thoughts on why I think that's something they canonically share:
They both hurt someone close to them in their backstories, and that weighs on them enough that both of their Harmonious Heart events are about wondering if that person would hold it against them. Also for reasons I won't elaborate on here, I'm pretty sure Kiibo at least subconsciously views himself as a danger to others due to the environment he grew up in after Iidabashi was injured. I mean imagine having an emergency stop button permanently installed on your body "just in case."
Despite everyone's backstories being fictional, Kiibo and Maki have still killed one real person each --- Kiibo killed Tsumugi (and endangered everyone else), and Maki effectively killed Kokichi/Kaito ('effectively' just as in it could create the kind of "I killed a guy" guilt that is relevant to this discussion. I'm not going to even comment on the actual causality of that entire situation). Even if you don't count that, Kiibo being the only person with a body count is an interesting reversal given he's a pacifist and seems to have the most rigid moral code of the cast (something I also think was a precaution of sorts).
(+ Credit: Background of page 6 is traced from this random photo of an ice rink lobby. I made up the background of page 7 and that's why you can't tell what the hell anything actually is.)

I need codependent Danny/Jason as a little treat (for me) and I love the idea of them having some sort of instant connection the moment they meet (bc ghost stuff idk)
Danny who's been dropped in Gotham with no way home (alt universe??) and he's been here for 36 hours and having a Very bad time senses a liminal being and immediately latches onto them heedless of the fact that his new best friend is shooting at some seedy guys in an alley and goes off about how stressed he is and how he can't make it back to the ghost zone and what a bad day he's been having (and it's important to note Danny is a littol ghost boy literally hanging off of Jason's neck as he floats aimlessly) and Jason is like "who are you??" And Danny is like "oh sorry I'm Danny lol" and then just continues lamenting his woes
And honestly ? This might as well happen. Nothing about this Danny guy(is he human?) gives Jason a bad vibe and tbh he's never felt more calm and level headed before so he just keeps up his usual Red Hood patrol and doesn't even think about it when he heads back to a safehouse and feeds Danny dinner (breakfast) before crashing for half the day
The only thing I actually need is Jason meeting up with the bats for some sort of Intel meeting and they're like "uhhh who's that" and Jason is like "that's Danny." And does not elaborate (very ".... What do you have there?" "A smoothie" vibes)
And it takes them a while to realize that these two have known each other for less than 12 hours and are literally attached at the hip

Nishimura and Kitamoto being so protective over Natsume so early on really gets me... They saw this weirdo quiet kid with empty eyes like glass beads and went "i have a feeling this guy is a victim of bullying and needs friends and by god that friend is gonna be ME"

I feel chronically ill post-canon Siffrin would go one of two ways at first:
1. They try to ignore the pain for as long as possible and end up overexerting themselves to the point of getting hurt, or
2. He DOES attempt to rest, but feels so catastrophically guilty about it and spirals so hard that there's barely any actual rest happening and he's just perpetually exhausted bedrotting at that point

How do you draw so frequently???
I'm starting to think I probably have some passive ADHD so I end up always admiring ppl who can just constantly do stuff, it's like a dream, your art is also like a dream, Vasco is also a sweet dream, I really like Vasco, he looks really sweet
I set aside a little bit of time every evening just to draw, it's become almost like a wind down routine for me. It helps if I don't treat it as serious 100% effort hard mode art time, I usually multitask a little on the side, watch a movie or take breaks to do little chores around the house and art just sort of happens if it happens. Lately I've been making mostly personal low pressure feel-good pieces.

Mairuma continuing to impress in how siblings are written. Of course Clara, who at the start of the series didn't think twice about axes being an appropriate play item to use with her schoolmates, has a brother close to her own age who is ecstatic about almost being actually murdered by his teacher. From here I can only conclude that the highlight of Urara's early childhood was being chased around by a Clara weilding a meat tenderizer. All the pieces fit together perfectly; no notes.
Update: Since y'all have liked the tags they are getting added as full text:
I was actually wondering for a good while how "books that try to chomp on you" fit in with Clara being a good big sis #and how there wasn't really signs of her playing dangerous games with her other younger siblings #but like yeah a sibling close in age to you being weird in way that compliments your style of being weird #absolutely does cause you both to become even more weird both together & separately #source: I have siblings #but yeah Clara "fun aficionado" Valac's standards were absolutely warped by Urara "I HAVE A GREAT PLAN" Valac #Urara loves being in danger so swinging heavy objects at him is okay because that's how he has the most fun! #wydm being jabbed at with a sharp objects isn't fun? u-chan is a stick in the mud & even he loves being relentlessly attacked w stabby stick #early Clara not knowing what a "boundary" or "reasonable limit" is both a cause & effect of Urara being such a thrill seeker #oopsie daisy they got caught in a feedback loop and now they're both extra weird

see ok the thing about norm is that i really truly do think that post-canon she DOES end up realizing shes trans. it's just that, her entire life, she has been told to be a "real man" and by god has she conformed to that. she went to war, she manned up and took care of her mother in her final years, hell, she had a wife and children. she has essentially forced herself into the role of a classic american patriarch.
she has, whether subconsciously or not, molded herself into being everything she has ever been told to be, without any question. she's been told her entire life that men are gruff, that men are cruel, that men do not show emotions other than rage, and that to be a "real man" she has to be all those things and worse. you can see this just in the way that she carries herself, constantly going out of her way to intimidate or threaten anyone. with every interaction she has, she deliberately (attempts) to make them scared of her.
you can even link this back to how she thinks of callum, seeing them as solely a self-made man. norm wants, so desperately, to be viewed as "good" and to be respected, and the only way she knows how to make that happen is to be a man. callum's presidency reaffirmed this, having seen someone in her (perceived) position of a small-town southerner who never got anything good from the world around him, constantly shoved aside to make way for everyone else. when callum grew to power, she viewed them as a "true patriarch", a man who knew what he was doing with his life. a man who was respected, who was good, who was beloved by everyone. she, however, fundamentally viewed this as happening because callum was a "self-made man", unable to separate callums manhood from their success.
literally everything norm does is based in her own ideas of what "being a man" entails. she believes that if she can't be a man, then she has failed at not just being a man, but being alive, being a person. she is so deeply ashamed and guilt-ridden over having failed her duties as "the man of the house"* (*i.e. leaving her wife and children) that she lashes out, desperately sticking to the only clutch she has on the masculinity that she believes will be ripped away from her at a moments notice. she saw what happened to callum, how they were discarded when they weren't of any usage anymore, when they couldn't just "man up", when they were no longer the patriarch everyone thought of them. the circumstances aren't close to the same, of course, but in norms eyes all she saw was someone fail at being a man and be thrown out.
she's already been thrown out and cast away before, what's stopping them from just doing it again? mingus humiliated her, stripped her of any power she had and left her with nothing, tossed her away when she deemed her "unfit". it made norm regress back into that shell of violence and paranoia, so petrified of the fact that she can no longer protect herself that she shut the world out.
she's petrified of being deemed "unfit" again, so she continues to cling to her masculinity. even with the knowledge that dialtown is full of weirdo's, she can't help but stay in her bubble. everytime someone questions her masculinity, she just digs her heels in more, asserts herself more, becomes more violent, more aggressive, more manly. she still thinks that, so long as she acts like a man, then she won't be tossed out, that she's still worth something, that she's still a person. she views every threat to her masculinity as a threat to her personhood. what she lacks in confidence, she makes up in assertiveness. she wraps herself in a blanket of long-gone traditions of being "the patriarch", a living reminder of old world masculinity, because that's all she knows of herself. she's never known anything else, after all.

my honeymoon rhinitis is gonna make it impossible for me and my gf to record any wavs without me interrupting her with my sneezes when it’s not my turn to be doing the sneezing because her sneezes turn me on so fast that every time she sneezes i sneeze three times in return 🫠🫠🫠🫠 it’s so normal for us that whenever she sneezes and i have a fit after, she apologizes for sneezing, because she knows i’m sneezing because of her (and obviously i remind her that you Never have to apologize for that ever)
