So during these insane last 2 weeks, I managed to get some reading done. I've truly enjoyed the last 2 Felice Stevens books because her characters are never conventional. Here we have Reed who suffers from ADHD and Anxiety disorders entering into an arrangement with Carter, who clearly has abandonment issues from his childhood and finds himself raising a half-brother who was born premature. Sounds insurmountable, right? And yet I can personally testify everyday, I see people with all kinds of trauma finding love and building families. Carter and Reed figure it out and the reader can't helped but be hooked by their journey.
