Hetalia headcanon
China reader only has 3 children, and it came from magical pregnancies. Those 3 children are Hong Kong, Philippines, and Indonesia. Hong Kong's Father is England, Philippines's father is Spain, and Indonesia's father is Netherlands. Also the reason why this has been brought to light was because someone asked " If parts of you got colonized by some other countries: for Example, Hong Kong; And Hong Kong is your kid, wouldn't that mean England is Hong Kong's dad? ". Honest to God, that question alone was enough to pop off a much more serious question like, " Wouldn't that technically mean you have more children other than Hong Kong then??? ". Basically China was forced to explain that she has the rare ability to get pregnant; Wether Naturally by having sex or magically, and all her pregnancies were magical ( Of course it was magical, Majority of the world didn't know she was a woman ). China was also forced to tell Spain, Netherlands, and England that they are the fathers of her children. It's still unknown if China have more children other than the 3. This also left the vast majority of the Asian countries that she took care of thinking if she is indeed their big sister or their mother, since the possibility of her being their mother instead is now on the table ( It might lead to a serious family meeting ). This is also another way of saying the China reader is indeed a certified MILF 😏 ( This headcanon was inspired by the China Reader book )
I am going to use this in both the remake of China female reader (when I remake it) but also, I am going to use it in a mini-series, keep an eye out for a mini-series of Various Yandere Hetalia Characters X Female China Reader
If there are any Yandere Countries you want to see with Female China Reader put them in my ask box and I will do a scenario for them!
Same With Yandere World Scenarios X Female America Reader
Anything and everything is on the table!

ok this sounds insane but in 2018 i went to a few carnivorous plant talks at the botany conference in minnesota. i got caught up in conversation with one of the guys there who was a huge nepenthes guy who told me a story about another collector in the pacific northwest who'd been buying poached plants, like a huge amount, and eventually got staked out by the fish and wildlife service and arrested and had all his plants seized and went to prison for it. idk if i ever talked about this on this blog before-- i know i liveblogged a lot from that conference but cant remember what all i posted-- but ive avoided talking about it since then because i was never able to find like, news articles or anything covering it, but behold.... we now have proof it was real, and im like 80% sure this was this guy he was talking about. the raid happened in 2016 and they'd been staking them out since 2013. he had nearly 400 plants and had been sourcing many of them from poachers in indonesia and borneo.
remember folks: poaching happens with plants too! it's a huge problem not only in carnvirous plants (nepenthes especially, which this piece is dedicated to talking about) but also in native plant populations in the US, including native carnivorous plant populations (north and south carolina's venus fly traps, california's darlingtonia, and sarracenia from the east coast), native orchids (historically one of the most poached categories), desert plants/cacti/succulents, and slow-growing woody ornamentals (cycads, for example). never buy bare-root plants off ebay or facebook! your best bet is local nurseries (which usually purchase farm-raised plants that do well in a wide range of conditions, and as a result have a healthy population in the wild) or specialty greenhouses (more expensive, but at least in the case of carnivorous plants offer young plants bred from established adult plants in-house, raised in captivity).

From the very beginning, you knew the risks of dating a Formula 1 Driver. Everyone said that, your friends, your family, everyone. You knew it was risky but what the hell? Love is risky.
🎶 Flamingo pink, Sunrise Boulevard. Clink, clink. Being this young is art. 🎶
Sunrise Boulevard. That was the place you first met him. You knew it was crazy, why would a Formula 1 Driver be in a sunrise boulevard? Shouldn't he be somewhere off taking vacations, private jets, and luxury vacations? You kept asking that to yourself.
Charles would lie if he said it was love at first sight. Sunrise Boulevard was always his go to place for his photography hobby. He didn't expect a beautiful woman like you to explore the wonders of it.
You and him were the only people there, the distance of you was only meters. The itchy feeling of you wanting to make the first move and approach him irritated you. Thankfully, he made the first move.
He smiles softly, approaching your as he stood next to you. Breathing in the cool air, he looks to his left to look at you. "Beautiful sunset right?" He smiles softly, analyzing your look.
The familiar voice caught you off guard, you chuckle, smiling while you watch the sunset. You turn your head to look at him with a smile. "Yeah so pretty." You look back at the sun setting.
"I'm Charles." He says, taking his hand out his pocket to reach it out to you.
You smile, shaking his hand for a few moments before you speak. "I'm Y/N." You smile softly, gently taking your hand out.
And that was the time your love story with Charles started, you didn't expect another meeting with him, you thought it was just a one time thing. Until, an evening at a hotel in California.
🎶Aquamarine moonlit swimming pool🎶
That. That was the place you saw him again. Out of pure craziness, you wanted some peace for yourself so you booked a hotel in California. Life has not been easy, especially your dating life. You've always gotten hate for dating so many boys and fans honestly just call you desperate because every time they always break your heart.
What you didn't know is that Charles would be there too.
"Y/N?" A familiar voice creeped up on you, turning your head to find the voice, you saw him. Charles.
He smiles, he was happy to see you again. He sat next to you and dipped his feet in the pool like you did. "Still remember me?" He chuckles, turning to his side to look at you. Smiling at you softly as he tucks the strands of hair behind your ear that was on the side of your face.
It was that one move of his that struck deep inside of you that oh he really is a gentleman. "Yeah, Charles. Charles Leclerc." You chuckle, looking at your left to look at him with a smile.
"Still remember me?"
"Y/N Y/L/N." He smiles, knowing deep inside that you were someone famous. You really were.
"you know the fact that we're both famous people and we didn't care for it the first we met." You laugh, realizing that you really were two famous people and you guys acted like normal people who met.
"Maybe because in that moment we didn't care for our fame and our status and we only cared about us." He smiles, emphasizing the word 'us.' Charles didn't care about his reputation, all that mattered was you. Sure, he knew about your controversial status but he didn't care. Why would he?
You smile at his words, he was right. Honestly, out of all the men in your life, Charles was the only one to not care about fame and everything. He intrigued you, it's like a new light bulb sparked in you. Although there was whispers deep inside you to not fall, you couldn't help but fall.
🎶What if all i need is you🎶
He was all you needed, from those two meetings with Charles, your love story started. He was one of a kind, he asked permission from your parents to court you. Yes, he courted you. Those 6 months were the best of your life. He was a dedicated man.
"Good morning my beautiful, flowers for you." A note was left on your doorstep with a bouquet of red roses that you loved so much.
Did you announce your relationship publicly? No but God did Charles always soft launch you. Not that you were complaining but it's just you were so scared of the deja vus from your previous relationship. Being the Y/N Y/L/N means dating famous people. And you really did.
Which is why you get so much hate but Charles changed all of that.
After those six months of courting, you finally said yes to him. You loved every moment of it even if somehow you were scared. Charles was the dream boyfriend, he was a gentleman.
🎶 Got love-struck, went straight to my head 🎶
What you loved about Charles was the little actions. It always melted your heart.
He parked the car in the crowded parking lot of the restaurant, grateful because there was still space. You were all busy on your phone, you hadn't realized what was going on. Charles unbuckled his seatbelt, opening the car door on his side. He walks over to the side of the car to open the car door. His hand reaching out to yours.
"princess?" He smiles softly, waiting patiently for you.
Immediately putting your phone away, you take his hand as you exit the car. Smiling softly, you wrap your hand around his arm. You lean closer to him to give a small peck on his cheek.
Once you and Charles reach the front door of the restaurant, he opens the door letting you enter first. You smile, entering first as Charles followed right behind you, his hand wrapped around the back of your waist.
Your boyfriend prepared the whole date, he booked the restaurant, prepared your outfits, and everything. All you needed to do was enjoy. Charles knows how picky you are with restaurant tables, that's why he booked the one in the further back but with a window view to watch the sunset.
When you reached your table, you couldn't help but stare at the beautiful sunset. Charles opened your chair out for you with a charming smile. Before you could sit, you give him a kiss.
"Thank you Cha." You smile softly, giving him another kiss as you sat down on your chair.
🎶 Love to think you'll never forget, handprints in wet cement 🎶
The condominium you stayed in always had constructions. Despite that, your boyfriend offered for a photoshoot nearby. You wouldn't say no to a photoshoot. Charles brought his camera which was amazing, you started doing some poses, some were candid, but there was one pose that had the most memories.
You look into the camera smiling, putting your hand on the wall not realizing it was wet cement. A gasp and a laugh comes out of your mouth. Charles couldn't help but laugh too. He smiles softly, laying his hand next to yours in the wet cement.
"Charles and Y/N." He smiles, taking a picture with his other hand.
You giggle at what your boyfriend had done, it was so cute. You lean in closer to kiss his cheek. "Charles and Y/N."
After a few moments, you both let your hand out of the wet cement. Charles smiled, holding your hand with the wet cement. Your two hands with wet cement were held with each other.
"I love you." You stare into his eyes, feeling him pull you closer with his other hand.
"I love you more." He presses a deep kiss on your lips, savoring the sweet but funny moment.

China Ming Dynasty Royal Painting:《出警图/Departure Herald》
In this handscroll is a great imperial procession making its way to pay respects at the imperial tombs. Departing from the Te-sheng (Victory) Gate of the Peking city wall, the artists here depicted shops along the way and the appearance of ceremonial guards to the final destination of the imperial tombs, the final resting place for Ming dynasty emperors 45 kilometers from the capital at Mt. T'ien-shou. Departure Herald is actually accompanied by another long handscroll painting entitled Return Clearing. That work depicts the process of the tomb sweeping and inspection tour. Usually considered as a pair, they are collectively known as Departure Herald and Return Clearing.

【秦良玉/Qin Liangyu:The only female general recognized by the Chinese emperor and official history】
Qin Liangyu (1574–1648), courtesy name Zhensu, was a female general best known for defending the Ming dynasty from attacks by the Manchu-led Later Jin dynasty in the 17th century.
Early life and education
Qin Liangyu was born in Zhongzhou (忠州), which is in present-day Zhong County, Chongqing. Her father, Qin Kui (秦葵), obtained the position of a gongsheng (貢生) in the civil service examination. He believed that girls should receive the same education as boys, so he made Qin Liangyu study history and the Confucian classics with her brothers. He also taught them martial arts. Qin Liangyu learnt martial arts more deeply than her brothers and became proficient in archery and horse-riding. She was also known for her skill in poetry.
Marriage to Ma Qiancheng
In 1595, Qin Liangyu married Ma Qiancheng (馬千乘), the tusi and xuanfushi (宣撫使; "Announcing and Pacifying Commissioner") of Shizhu County, and accompanied him in minor battles against local warlords in the southwestern border of the Ming Empire. They had a good marriage and he often sought her advice. In 1599, when Yang Yinglong (楊應龍) started a rebellion in Bozhou (播州; present-day Zunyi, Guizhou), Ma Qiancheng brought 3,000 riders with him to suppress the revolt while Qin Liangyu brought an additional 500 to support her husband. They successfully quelled the rebellion and destroyed the rebels' camps.
In 1613, Ma Qiancheng offended Qiu Chengyun (邱乘雲), an influential court eunuch, and ended up being arrested and imprisoned. He died in prison later. Qin Liangyu succeeded her husband as the xuanfushi of Shizu County. Those under her command were known as the White Cavalry (白杆兵).
Resisting rebel forces in Sichuan
In 1620, Qin Liangyu's elder brother, Qin Bangping (秦邦屏), led 3,000 White Cavalry to Liaodong to resist invaders from the Manchu-led Later Jin dynasty. He was killed in action at the Battle of Hun River (渾河之戰).
In 1623, Qin Liangyu assisted Ming forces in suppressing the She-An Rebellion in Sichuan and Guizhou led by She Chongming (奢崇明) and An Bangyan (安邦彥). In the following year, her elder brother, Qin Minping (秦民屏), was killed in battle by An Bangyan's forces.
In 1630, when Later Jin forces besieged the Ming capital, Beijing, Qin Liangyu led forces from Sichuan to reinforce the capital. The Chongzhen Emperor showered her with praises in poetry and presented her with four poems as she passed through Beijing. In 1634, when Zhang Xianzhong's rebel army invaded Sichuan, Qin Liangyu and her son, Ma Xianglin (馬祥麟), led their troops to attack the rebels, defeated them at Kuizhou (夔州; present-day Fengjie County, Chongqing) and drove them away. In 1640, Qin Liangyu defeated another rebel force led by Luo Rucai (羅汝才) in Kuizhou and Wushan. In recognition of her contributions to the Ming Empire, the Chongzhen Emperor appointed her as the Crown Prince's Guardian (太子太保) and awarded her the title "Marquis Zhongzhen" (忠貞侯; lit. "Loyal and Chaste Marquis").
Later life and death
The Ming Empire was overthrown in 1644 by rebel forces led by Li Zicheng, and its former territories were conquered by the Later Jin dynasty (later renamed to Qing dynasty). Some Ming loyalists formed a remnant state, the Southern Ming dynasty, in southern China to resist the Qing dynasty. Its nominal ruler, the Longwu Emperor, also granted Qin Liangyu a marquis title. Meanwhile, Zhang Xianzhong invaded Sichuan again, and Qin Liangyu attempted to resist him, but was defeated and forced to retreat, allowing Zhang to conquer most of Sichuan. She did however prevent her soldiers from surrendering to Zhang.
Qin Liangyu controlled part of Shizhu County and her policy of agricultural self-sufficiency made her region attractive for refugees. She helped about 100,000 refugees to settle down in Shizhu.
Qin Liangyu died in 1648 and was buried in present-day Yachun Village, Dahe District, Shizhu County, Chongqing. She was given the posthumous name "Zhongzhen" (忠貞; lit. "Loyal and Chaste") and was survived by her son, Ma Xianglin (馬祥麟).
Legacy
Qin Liangyu's life, along with her weapons and armour, is showcased in a museum in Shizhu County, Chongqing. A statue of her is in the Ganyu Hall of the Shibaozhai in Zhong County (that was preserved during the Three Gorges Project).Together with Hua Mulan, Liang Hongyu and He Yufeng, Qin Liangyu is one of the most well-known female warriors and heroines in China.
In the Twenty-Four Histories, Qin Liangyu was also the only woman whose biography was listed among the biographies of court officials and generals.

Wu Shuqing and the revolutionary women's troops
Tumblr media
Revolutionary women fighting at Nanjing
In 1911, revolutionaries in southern China rose up against the Manchu-led Qing Dynasty. Their successful uprising brought an end to the imperial system and ushered in the early republican era. Moved by both patriotism and feminist ideals, women joined the movement.
Wu Shuqing’s women’s troop
Wu Shuqing, a 19-year-old student from Hanyang, was one of these women. Alongside two others, she wrote to revolutionary leader Li Yuanhong, asking for permission to fight. He initially refused, arguing that integrating women into an all-male army would be too difficult.
But Wu Shuqing didn’t back down. She responded by asserting that there was no difference between men and women when it came to fighting a revolution:
“Were they to hear that the nation was conscripting troops, farmers would lay down their hoes and laborers would abandon their tools. In high spirit they would go off and become soldiers. Even teachers and students in school would all have to become troops. The people are the starting point for society, and society is the point at which the state begins. The people are thus of major importance in terms of victory and defeat of the state. If we do not now come to the aid of the great Han people and wipe out the Manchu bastards, we will assuredly earn the slander of foreigners. In the north sits powerful Russia and majestic Great Britain. Our country faces great dangers on that front. I seek no instant glory. I merely want to join the troops in fighting northward, giving my life in pursuit of the enemy, killing the Manchus. Only then will our Han race be avenged.”
Wu Shuqing’s request was granted, and a women’s troop was formed.
The women’s troop at the front
The exact number of women who joined is unclear, with reports suggesting several hundred. They underwent military training before being sent to the front lines.
Wu Shuqing led them into combat. She participated in a campaign against the Qing at Hankou. During the battle for Nanjing, she and her troops devised a plan to occupy the fort at Shizishan, opening a path for the revolutionary army.
Many women’s forces and organizations were formed in quick succession, though not all of them saw battle.
The sisters Yin Weijun and Yin Ruizhi became famous for their skill in bomb-making and explosives. They earned respect during the battles against the Qing for their daring bombing raids.
Though Yin Ruizhi was wounded, her sister went on to create another unit, the Zhejiang Women’s Nationalist Army, leading them into battle. Over 30 women from this unit fought to liberate Nanjing. They attacked three forts, occupied Yuhatai, scaled ladders over the city walls, and entered Nanjing on December 2. Eyewitnesses praised their bravery and combat effectiveness. However, the troop was later disbanded as the commander-in-chief did not believe women could handle a long-term expedition.
Tumblr media
The Yin sisters in military attire.
A third women’s troop also participated in the battle for Nanjing, providing first-aid and logistical support.
A fourth women’s unit, the Guandong Women’s Northern Expedition Bombing Team, was led by Xu Mulan. A hundred female soldiers fought at Xu Zhou.
Though women made up only a small fraction of the revolutionary forces, they played a vital role in the overall movement. For some, their military involvement became a way to express their political ideals and ensure the possibility of an egalitarian society in the future republic. Some of these women also became outspoken advocates for women’s suffrage.
Aftermath
Most women’s armies were discharged in 1912 after a compromise was reached between the revolutionaries and the northern forces. Many female soldiers were left frustrated, feeling that their contributions were undervalued, especially as all positions in the provisional government were given to men.
Wu Shuqing’s whereabouts after the revolution remain unknown.
