Drifting around the seas Ruby was lost in thought.. after meeting this adventurous human he was worried about him.... did he survive from that witch or did he get into trouble... or were he ever to see him again... as he suddenly noticed something drifting in the sea... it was that same human but he seemed barely holding his breath and slowly sinking into the ocean as he quickly swam to him and lifted his body in his arms...

Ruby layed the adventurer at the beach.. but still was worried he was about to suffocate, so he tried to reanimate him, as well as save him with some CPR for a while... untill Fennec opened his eyes weakly... putting his hands on his cheek.

"Ruby.... its you... you saved me..."

"I am so g-glad you are okay.. what happened?"

"You said.... the witch was... dangerous... I stole... her potion..."

Ruby inspected his throat and suddenly saw a sign on his neck.

"No... a curse."

"A curse for a curse... at least now... I can save my brother... even if it means... my own life."

"W-why.... why... "

"No one would miss me.. my brother always was... the more popular... one..."

"THATS NOT TRUE."

The siren cried out laying his head on Fennecs upper body as he lifted his head in surprise.

"I was w-worried about you."

"You barely know me."

"I... f-followed your journey from the seas where I c-could... I wanted you to be safe.... and now... you throw that away... not even t-trying to break the curse."

"You care... about me that much?"

Ruby gave a silent nod as Fennec leaned forward, taking his hand.

"Then I promise... one day I will watch the stars with you again... but please... let me safe my brother first."

"I... wish I could come with you... and help you..."

"You are with me as i am with you. Remember the stone I gave you."

Ruby held it around his neck... he made it into a necklace since they last met.

"Then I promise I will wait for you... to return without a curse..."

"And If I need true loves kiss for this curse, I will get you."

"Huh?"

Fennec looked at him with a warm smile...

"You have proven to me how much you care, you are the closest I would call a candidate to that."

"W-wait wait wait."

Fennec stood up and slowly tried to get a grip, taking a breather from the previous shock and cheking his bag before quickly placing a kiss on Rubys forehead.

"Its a promise."

Today I decided to share with you a drawing I made last year. That year I was going to write a book with my friend, NOTG. The story was about a romance between a human and an anthropomorphic being.

I don't remember if this character was supposed to be an alien or a being created in a laboratory, but I just know that he is a mix of a rabbit, cat and fox. I even made a drawing of this couple and I loved it so much.

The human was inspired by Ruby from Supernatural, while her boyfriend looks like Zahk, even though he was never inspired by him lol. For those who don't know, Zahk is a furry artist who makes really cute arts, where his fursona is a hybrid of a dragon and a fox.

However, unfortunately my friend couldn't create the story with me, because he didn't even have time to write his book, Between Stars. But the cool thing is that my character gave rise to a new species for his story.

Yes, NOTG asked me for help and suggestions for his book, so I helped him create this fictional species for his story. It's a shame I didn't create a story for this beautiful couple, they're definitely the cutest couple I've ever created. But who knows one day, right?

Hoje eu resolvi compartilhar com vocês um desenho que fiz ano passado. Naquele ano eu ia escrever um livro com o meu amigo, NOTG. A história era sobre um romance entre uma humana e um ser antropomórfico.

Eu não me lembro se esse personagem era pra ser um alienígena ou um ser criado em laboratório, mas só sei que ele é uma mistura de coelho, gato e raposa. Inclusive fiz um desenho desse casal e amei demais.

A humana havia sido inspirada na Ruby de Supernatural, enquanto o namorado dela se parece com o Zahk, mesmo que nunca tenha sido inspirado nele kkkkkkkkk. Pra quem não sabe, Zahk é um artista furry que faz artes muito fofinhas, onde o seu fursona é um híbrido de dragão e raposa.

Porém, infelizmente não deu pro meu amigo criar a história comigo, porque ele não tinha tempo nem pra escrever o livro dele, Between Stars. Mas o legal é que o meu personagem deu origem à uma nova espécie da história dele.

Sim, o NOTG me pediu ajuda e sugestões pro seu livro, então eu o ajudei na criação dessa espécie fictícia da história dele. É uma pena que não criei uma história pra esse lindo casal, com certeza é o casal mais fofo que já criei. Mas quem sabe um dia, né?

Fennec is usually not the most talkative so getting him over text is easier and he is also more honest on it... so to Ruby he would always respond as quickly as he can.

Hi there Miss Squiggles! Lately I’ve been looking through the amazing bouquet you and the gang have made together, and I kinda wish to add my own Rose, but I have a few questions: does the Rose’s name have to have some mention of roses and foxes, since there is the Remnant color-naming system, or is it just a name hearkening to a Rose? I was a bit unsure about that. Also love everything that you’re doing, you’re a huge inspiration to me!

The Roses in the Gardenof Roses are iterations of the Rose Fox Character which derived from a Pineheadheadcanon where OscarPine has another Rose in his life withwhom he shares a close-relationship with besides Ruby Rose (be in the past orpresently). Since the CRWBY have alluded to Oscar drawinginspiration from The LittlePrince, the RoseFox character is meant to embody both the Rose (or rather the Fake Rose as Miki-chan rightfully put it)and the Fox from the tale.

To explain, here is a description of themeaning behind the Rose FoxCharacter:

“…As most of us Rosegardening Pineheads haveinterpreted, aspects of The Little Prince story is being used to influenceOscar’s story. In the Little Prince, the Prince was in love with a Rose; asingle red rose that had blossomed on his home planet.

The Rose was very vain and made the Princebelieve that she was the only rose in existence but to the Prince’sdisappointment, he learns that the Rose had lied to him when he discoveredother roses during his travels off-world. This revelation greatly upsets thePrince.

Rolling with this thought, I wanted to createa character that embodied the Fox from the Little Prince along with the lastingmessage he left on the Prince. But then I decided to take that concept a stepfurther by also having this character draw inspiration from the Rose from thestory as well.

As Pineheads, we all know that the Rose inOscar’s story—the one he is meant to fall in love with and be his one true Roseis of course going to be our silver eyed protagonist: Ruby Rose. As establishedby the series, Ruby and Oscar have grown close within the span of two seasonswith their relationship destined to blossom further going into the Atlas Arc.Whether that means a very trusting close friendship or a beautiful romance isat the call of the CRWBY Writers.

That being said, this squiggle meister wantedto toy with the idea of … what if …Oscar had another Rose in his life who he shared a strong connectionwith. It is this Rose who ends up challenging Ruby on her relationship andfeelings toward Oscar.

As the other Rose, this character provokesRuby as she is another person that Oscar is very close to, who he couldpotentially be love in love with even given their bond. However as the Fox,this character will not only help Oscar to see his true feelings but also Rubyas well. As a matter of fact, the true purpose of Rose Fox character is to aidboth our Rosebuds in realizing what they truly mean to one another…”

This is pretty much how the Garden blossomed.It is a multiverse of lovely RWBY original characters based around this type of character.To read up more on the origins of Rose FoxCharacter, check out this posthere. So to answer your questions:

Your Rosedoesn’t necessarily have to be named ‘Rose’or even have the name ‘Rose’ in theirname (for example: Miki’s Ianthe Regem) but to keep things cohesive, it would be great for them to have a name that at least alludesto the rose or a particular type of rose since this character is meant to be another Rose to Oscar in their story.

For example, in the case of my Rose, I namedher Rose, short for Rosaline, on purpose for the sake of her sharing the word Rose in her name with Ruby Rose. In the storyI created for my Rose in her universe, as the OtherRose she’s meant to be Ruby’srival—the one who challenges her on her feelingsand relationship with Oscar. She’s also another Rose for others to compare Rubyto (who wasn’t her mother Summer Rose) so having the two share that trait intheir name fit perfectly.

Your Rosehas to be a fox Faunus; as explained in thedescription of the Rose Fox Character. It doesn’t matter what kind of fox sheis (red, arctic, fennec, marble, grey, kit, etc), just so long as she’s a foxand her Faunus trait is entirely up to you. It could be her ears, tail, justclaws and fangs, etc.

Honestly I can’t take all the credit. RWBY Character Image Song List 2019

Heyo folks!  It’s the hiatus, so you know what that means--MUSIC TIME!

After a volume ends, I try go through an extensive list of characters in RWBY and pick out various musical themes from my collection for each character as a sort of “image song.”  These are primarily instrumental pieces, and my collection consists of largely anime and videogame soundtracks that I’ve picked up over the years.  The characters are those who were named and appeared in the show, with a couple of unnamed exceptions like Pilot Boi and the Shopkeep, or had a recurrent role in the overarching story like Summer.

Of course, these choices are subjective.  Some may not agree with my choices for certain characters.  However, my selections were based on what’s presented in canon, not any kind of headcanon.  I take into account the character’s history and personality, as well as their personal growth.  If they only appear in one episode, I try to take into account the context of their appearance as well as the small amount of personality presented.

I love how much Corsac loves Adam. Especially since there’s hints of both “I love him dearly and will do anything for him” and “I’m gonna’ make sure he has all the power so I can steal him from” which also fuels the ship in Yandere land.

Poor Fennec though. His brother for all intents and purposes is in love with a crazy dude. Ha ha ha.

Speaking of Adam, loved his tiny break down and “I have a promise to keep.” Glad he remembered. :D

Also I’m getting real Oscar x Ruby vibes. That should be fun.

Last thing: My brother’s big comment of the series: “BLAKE. Tell people Adam can cut through Aura. Please. To quote Burt from Tremors: ‘Need to know information.’”

But speaking, Blake. Is “Spite” really the right word to describe Adam? I think “Dramatic” might be the word you really want. Ha ha.
