A lil bit of sadness for Amphitrite & Poseidon. Since Nerites doesn't appear in any other myths (that I know of), and is still a shellfish, I think he'd be who Amphitrite would confide in all the time.

And shellfish Nerites is worrying over his older sister of course

In the myth of Nerites and Aphrodite, Nerites refuses to go with Aphrodite to Olympus because he wanted to stay with his sisters and parents. Nerites values his family greatly, and I'm sure the Nereids are the same. And with him being a lover to Poseidon, though since Greek mythology isn't exactly the most consistent in when events happened when, but I am going with that Amphitrite married Poseidon after. Because I think Amphitrite would initially think Nerites turned into a shellfish because of Poseidon, adding to the reason she fled from his hand in marriage.

Anyway- this is just a bummed out Amphitrite with her husband being gone and pursuing others so much he forgets to give her some attention. She's just lonely and didn't know who else to confide in. A palace and open ocean can feel suddenly too big if the one who's supposed to be with you is gone for so so long. I'm sure her confiding in Nerites is comforting, since he was a lover to Poseidon, as it is difficult, as the two seemed more active in their bond compared to her and Poseidon.

A: Middle school.

A: The colors surprised me (laughs).

A: The way the guitar as in instrument should be.

Q4: What did hide mean to you?

A: A person like the cosmos.

Q5: How did you collect information?

A: From my companions.

A: Pink Spider.

JUN Interview (Phantasmagoria / G)

Q1: When did you first learn about hide?

A: The first year of middle school.

Q2: Please tell us what kind of impression you had at the time.

A: He was kind of scary but really impressed me! In that moment I was blown away by the guitarist’s presence and coolness!

Q3: Please tell us of a way in which hide influenced you.

A: Entertainment! Enjoy yourself! Fight!

Q4: What did hide mean to you?

A: The most distant and closest rock star!

Q5: How did you collect information?

A: With my own eyes and legs! And a bit from friends! (laughs)

Q6: Out of hide’s songs, which is your favorite and why?

A: I can’t pick a favorite, but for me it all started with SCARS!

Matoi Interview (Phantasmagoria / Ds)

Q1: When did you first learn about hide?

A: Knew him from a friend who had a cover band!

Q2: Please tell us what kind of impression you had at the time.

A: What I cool guy! I thought.

Q3: Please tell us of a way in which hide influenced you.

A: Not in the instrument, since I play drums, but I was imitating him when I covered my mouth with black mesh during a concert long ago!

Q4: What did hide mean to you?

A: A great man!! I used note books with hide-san’s prints on them for school and so on.

Q5: How did you collect information?

A: Forgot.

Q6: Out of hide’s songs, which is your favorite and why?

A: “Genkai Haretsu”. Not only was the song amazing, I was also shocked by the beauty of hide-san’s green hair in the PV!

so i'm rereading anne of green gables because it's been a while since i read it and i didn't want to start my other new books and i'm still holding off on continuing my lotr reading because silmarillion february.

i remember really like anne of green gables when i was younger. and i remember seeing at least some of the old television show. (vaguely i remember this.) but i don't remember a lot of the book. some bits here and there - gilbert being a jerk and diana and when anne tried to dye her hair black and ended up dying it green. (and what happens with matthew.)

but i'm rereading it and. like.

that's ryoko. that's how i write ryoko. chatterbox with hope and imagination who keeps naming things different names because their normal ones don't fit. also redhead who wears her hair in braid(s) - anne uses two, but like. the point stands.

now. they are entirely different characters for a lot of reasons. but apparently i drew on an old, old well to bring up anne and put her into ryoko.
