Jack didn’t know what was up with him today but he couldn’t seem to keep his hands off Maryse. They were in the studio alone today as Maryse wanted him to hop on a song she was working on.

As they huddled over the mixing board, working on the track, his fingers would constantly find their way to her, grazing her arm or tangling in her hair.

Maryse would laugh, swatting his hand away gently, but the sparkle in her eyes betrayed her amusement. Despite her attempts to stay focused on the music, she couldn’t ignore the tension that was rising in the air.

As Maryse adjusted the sound levels, Jack leaned in close behind her and pressed soft kisses behind her neck. “I love you.” his breath tickling her ear.

“I love you too. But focus, we have work to do.” Maryse said, trying to sound stern but failing to hide the smile tugging at her lips.

But Jack was relentless, and continued pressing kisses on her neck. Jack knew he had her where he wanted when she closed her eyes and a soft giggle slipped her lips. Maryse titled her towards the side to give him more access to her neck.

Jack spinned her around and immediately picked her up and sat her right on the sound board, not caring if anything broke.

Maryse giggles in surprise as she was lifted up. And cupped Jack’s face, she brought him in for more, kissing him deeply. Her fingers tangled themselves in his hair, tugging at it.

“Fuck, you’re so sexy.” Jack told her in between kisses. Maryse could only moan softly and wrapped her legs around him, her wet center dripping.

He groaned against her lips from the hair pulling. His hands rested on either side of the table as he kissed her again. Nipping down her jawline and kissing the side of her neck.

Maryse let her hands run down his back and up again, digging her nails into his skin through his thin t shirt.

She leaned her head back, giving him more access to her neck, rolling her eyes back.

“Are you going to keep teasing me? Or are you going to fuck on me right here on this table.”

Jack raised a brow at her, and pushed up the dress she was wearing and felt how wet she was. “If that’s what you want? I thought you wanted to focus on the music.” He told her teasingly

It felt like complete torture as Jack kept teasing her “Yes. It is. I will beg if I have to,” she said in a whisper.

It went on for what Maryse felt like was hours when in reality it was just minutes until she was barely hanging on and begging Jack for a release.

But before she could fall over that euphoric edge, Jack pulled his hand away, leaving Maryse panting and bewildered. She was practically dizzy as she opened her eyes just in time to see Jack lifting his hand to his mouth and slipped his index finger in his mouth, licking his fingers clean.

Maryse pulled him back closer to her, tugging on his arm trying to get his hand back between her thighs to finish what he started.

“I think we should add some drums to the song.” Jack smirked while adjusting her dress, pulling it back down.

“Jackman Thomas.” Maryse groaned, she felt like her body was going to explode.

Jack just laughed, and gave her another smirk. “We really shouldn’t do that in here, besides you were right we should just focus on that song.”

Maryse rubbed a hand over her face. “I hate you.”

The only response from Jack was another laugh and he settled back into his seat at the sound board and added drums to the track.

Look- I really want to like this run. I do. But I'm already not thrilled with this synopsis.

I'll admit, they had me until "beyond the speedforce". Then they got me again at "Wally experiments with creative new approaches to his powers". Then they lost me again at "he encounters new realms, mysterious allies and mind-shattering terrors".

If a writer wants to explore the horrors of the speedforce or dive deep into the existential nightmare that is speedsters themselves or get into the mind numbing implications of time travel, I'm all for it. Legitimately, I'm not being sarcastic. That'd be great. The timing is terrible and leaves a bad taste in my mouth, but it's a great idea.

But beyond the speedforce? Pass. No thanks.

I'm sorry but I'm not really into the idea of Wally just stumbling onto a horror set or something. To me, to actually make an impact with the horror concept it would have to be related to speedsters. Not just 'oh man, Wally pissed off this weird cult guy' or something.

Now, I am into creative power usage. We all know I'm a sucker for weird speedster abilities. And they have so many of them. I'd be down for a run that took that vast power set and looked at it and said "Hey. What the fuck." If it was done right then that would be great.

But then we got into "new realms", "mysterious allies" and "mind shattering terrors" and I was over it. Sorry but when they said "new realms", I heard "not on earth with friends and family". When they said "mysterious allies", I heard "we're going to introduce new edgy characters and be pretentious and dramatic about it". When they said "mind shattering terrors", I... well, honestly I rolled my eyes. Sorry. A joke isn't funny if you explain it and horror isn't scary when you announce it.

Ugh. But nope. I want to give this a chance and I want to try to not let my anger influence my opinions about it. There is some potential here. There is a world where this is good. There are certain horror elements in the Flash lore that I want explored. So. I'm going to give it a shot.

It will be hard. But I will.

hhhhhhhhhhhh saboace royalty au. ace was crown prince but can’t use magic which is necessary to become king, so he renounces his title and becomes infamous for his eccentric tendencies to play up the illusion that he’s truly not meant for the throne and that his younger sibling has full rights to the title of heir.

sabo is born to a family serving in the royal court, has been a genius magician since he was a child, and is the perfect example of a young man fully educated to serve at the king’s side. which is why he’s allowed himself to be tied down into a loveless political engagement with the king’s heir, putting the whims of his family before his own and resigning himself to become the future ruler’s consort/spouse to legitimize his role as an advisory right-hand man.

but then the heir grows rebellious and denounces the engagement with sabo in public and ace swoops in to save the day (and sabo’s reputation), demanding his father give sabo to him instead. he steals sabo away and challenges his sibling’s right to the throne, intent on earning back the title not for himself, but so he can make sabo (who is heavily qualified to rule) the king - and since they’ll be wed, no one will be able to undermine sabo’s position as he will technically be part of the monarchy that governs the kingdom.

As they lounged in Jack’s living room, Maryse grumbled in frustration, her voice reduced to a raspy whisper from days of being on vocal rest.

“Looks like we’re going old school with the communication.” Jack teased, waving a whiteboard and marker in front of her.

Maryse shot him a playful glare, snatching the whiteboard from his hands and writing “very funnyyyy” on the board and turning it around to show him, and then proceeded to stick up her middle finger.

Jack laughed as he read her message. “You have the most beautiful handwriting!” he quipped, dodging her playful swat.

With a roll of her eyes, Maryse scribbled down her response, her exaggerated expressions adding to the comedic effect. “Watch it, mister. I may be on vocal rest, but I can still kick your ass.”

He laughed, holding up his hands in mock surrender. “Alright, alright, I’ll behave,” he replied, trying to stifle his laughter.

Jack hated seeing Maryse like this as he missed hearing her voice. So he got up to fetch her some soothing tea for her throat. As he returned with a steaming mug, he noticed Maryse scribbling furiously on the whiteboard.

Curious, he leaned over to read her message, expecting another witty retort. Instead, his heart skipped a beat as he read the words: “I love you.”

A warmth spread through him, melting away any lingering traces of teasing or laughter. He set the mug of tea down gently and reached for the marker, his own message simple yet heartfelt: “I love you too.”

Maryse leaned forward and pressed a soft kiss to his lips. “I miss hearing your voice,” he murmured softly.

Her face warmed, her heart fluttering at his sweet gesture. All Maryse could do was kiss Jack again in response and pull him closer.

Flash vs. Sonic

If @sonicthehedgehog raced The Flash he would lose.

Why? Well, hear me out.

Sonic has only broken the sound barrier. Each of DC's Speedsters have exceeded LIGHT SPEED AND BEYOND. Sonic can only reach light speed with powerups. And I'm only talking about Game!Sonic.

The Sonic The Hedgehog Movie version is closer to the Flash because that's an easier way to get how super speed works. When you think of super speed, you think of the Flash first and foremost.

I think Game!Sonic needs to step his game up and increase his own speed. How would his gameplay translate that? That would be a tough challenge, but one worth taking on, I feel.
