"V class technician? Optical implants? The only thing I've heard about implants is that A class technicians have them, and we call those guys execs. And that that one mystery Class V technician should have one, but whoever they are, from what I've heard, they don't want to be here, so that seems to be a different kettle of fish entirely... Hu? Me? I'm C class, and staying that way. I might be the head technician, but I'm nowhere near the top of the food chain as far as technicians are concerned. I'm just the poor shit that all unfinished tasks fall to."
Desmond Anadem, Cassie's dad, is a C class technician who worked at the megaplex before his termination. Faz Ent also intended to terminate his life, but failed as the exec charged with carrying out his termination was tackled to the ground by Sylvia Blake, who instructed Desmond (and everyone else) to move so that they wouldn't be in the firing line of the execs gun, as she tacked the businessman to the ground. The exec fired his gun as he was tackled to the ground as predicted, and thanks to Sylvia's head's up, the bullet landed safely in a wall. The bullet did graze past Desmond's face, but the graze healed within two days.
The early leak of the notice of termination of night security staff triggered an event called 'The Riot'.
Desmond spent that night using his Faz Wrench to disable staffbots and endoskeletons for easier disassembly.
During his employment, neither Desmond nor any of his colleagues had an implant. They used eyepieces and earpieces with any chips pre-installed into the hardware. Masks for someone as low as a technician were almost entirely unheard of, asside from the mystery V class technician, whom his colleague in security, Vanessa Sylvia Blake, was searching for.
Depending on where a technician worked, some of them didn't even have eyepieces. Arcade technicians, electricians, construction workers, and those who only dealt with off-the-shelf non-proprietary machinery like the tills and computers didn't get or need eyepieces. These guys were called 'E class technicians', or just technicians. Desmond and other technicians couldn't give any less of a crap about 'class'. Most E class technicians, like Luis, didn't even know they were known as 'E class'.
But regardless of rank, all technicians have tool pouches on their belts. Colour didn't mean anything: you picked what colour you liked. In Desmond's case, he let his daughter pick his, and she picked out a shade of purple that matched her Roxy makeup.

Bruh imagine meeting Freddy without knowing he’s a friendly (IF he is friendly in the game that is-) but also not knowing that he knows Gregory.
Ensue the confusion of Cassie.

Weird commission, but can you draw Cassie and her dad bonding? I just need something wholesome in my life-
(look I have daddy issues and the best way I cope is to see fictional fathers bond with their daughters, okay!? 😭👍)

The real question of Help Wanted 2 should be:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
How TF did the nightmare staff bots manage to stuff Cassie's dad into mask bot???
XD real lol
But actually, bodies don't have to be inside animatronics to possess them. Charlie possessed the Puppet when it just collapsed on top of her. What did it was the proximity. They could have just put the body by Maskbot and the result would have been the same.

[GORE] Spite network view [FNAF, Renegade AU]

Desmond Anadem is Cassie Blake's dad. Technically.
Cassie was dumped on him by his estranged sister, Faz Ent scientist Alistair Anadem.
Desmond and Alistair are the twin children of the Bonnie mask bully from the Origin Location.
Cassie was synthesized from a mix of Alistair's stem cells an an unknown child of Bill Blake's stem cells, and marked the breakthrough of being the first gene splice who did not require any mechanical parts to survive. This makes Desmond technically Cassie's biological uncle.
Cassie was six when she came into Desmond's care, and she had no memories of the first six years of her life. Well, half of her had no memories of the first six years of her life. This would later turn out to be the result of her being a sleeper agent, and all those six years of memories only belonged to her sleeper self.
That day would also mark the first time Desmond had seen his sister in six years, and the last time he'd see her before her funeral several years later.
Desmond raised Cassie as his own as a single dad, and even though he had been told to have her go by the fake name of Ruth Anadem, Desmond never hid the truth from his daughter. Cassie goes by whatever name she feels is safer for whatever situation.
When disapearances started happening at the Megaplex, Cassie's sleeper side was always less worried about herself, and more worried about her dad, and when she learned from him that Faz Ent tried to kill him when they sacked everyone, she knew exactly why.
They wanted their sleeper agent back.
Permanently.
So it makes sense why she wouldn't question the doctors telling her dad to stay out of her line of sight after the 'Ruins' incident: if the chip is even somewhat impacting her brain still, she doesn't want to see what Faz Ent wants to do to her dad either.
After all, with a target that big on his back, D. Anadem is basically a dead man walking.
And there's a reason why the VANNI network garnered the nickname "the spite network" from those whose equipment faults let them breifly see this virtual overlay that was not meant for their eyes.

I remember when FNAF HW2 came out and with the notion we play as Cassie's dad (and Map/Mask Bot,) and some of Glamrock Freddy's lines in his minigame made some people joke about Freddy flirting with Cassie's dad lmfao
But joking aside, I kinda think it made sense if these two were close at some point (I don't mean romantically or anything specific.)
Glamrock Bonnie. Freddy and Cassie's dad had Bonnie in common.
Bonnie was Freddy's partner. Bonnie was Cassie's dad's favorite. So when Bonnie went missing and Freddy was devastated, I don't think Cassie's dad was very happy either.
So having to continue work as usual, Cassie's dad may have started forming a bond with Freddy over their mutual relationships with Bonnie. Their shared grief, shared memories, shared fondness towards the same rabbit they both appreciated, even if with different dynamics. They both cared about Bonnie, and may have found a little bit of solace in eachother after the rabbit went missing.
Heck, even Cassie is suggested to have cared about Bonnie despite her favorite being Roxy. She must have if she wanted to know what happened to him (and her dad wouldn't tell her, probably because he didn't know either or maybe he had to sign an NDA or something that barred him from speaking.) So this bonding may also include Cassie, not just Freddy and her dad.
Bonnie may have connected the three in a way, so a close bond between them doesn't seem that strange or far-fetched to me.
So
TLDR: Glamrock Freddy is Cassie's step-dad.

I have reason to believe Cassie's dad tried investigating into GGY, and it didn't end so well for him.
Let's get into why...
The therapists say to patient 46 (Gregory, while under the Dr. Rabbit (Mimic) influence) that the techs were getting concerned with his diving into the system, hacking it and messing with code to change how the animatronics act. This happens multiple times:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now, what is Cassie's father? A Fazbear Technician! Evident by the fact he has a Faz-Wrench, something only Fazbear techs own. Now this is absolutely a stretch, right? Well, it is, until I bring up this note found in the AR world:
Tumblr media
In the AR version of the Plex, Cassie experiences personal things that wouldn't be there for other people-- cutouts of herself with Roxy, of her with Gregory (and subsequently crying when he's gone), missing posters of Gregory, eyes that stare at her, mirrors, etc. So this note is another personal thing to her, and given the importance of the other personal things listed, it's likely this note has a good amount of significance to her too. I previously thought it was because Cassie's dad had left to look into something, but I had zero idea what it could be-- until now.
Either the note was placed by someone else to cover up her dad's disappearance (more likely, death), or he left it there knowing he'd be gone longer than normal while looking into this mysterious GGY. With people repeatedly disappearing, and GGY linked to the animatronics being messed up, he could've taken the initiative to look into it himself- and, possibly, payed the price for it.
When this happened, I don't have much of an idea. But I assume closer to the time SB took place rather than GGY, since it's pretty likely Mimic's influence was dropped right before the game, and RUIN seems to happen maybe a few weeks to a month after the base game? I think Cassie would've done something, or felt something was off, much sooner if it'd happened before then; but we don't know enough about her yet to know if that's the case. There's no mention of any other family she has outside of referenced 'emergency contacts'.
We still don't have a whole lot of information about Cassie, so we don't know how long she was left alone, if she's left alone often, etc.
With Help Wanted 2 possibly being a prequel to Security Breach, it's possible we'll also get a confirmation as to why and how Gregory got stuck under the Mimic's influence, plus what happened to Cassie's father. Maybe the game takes place a few weeks before Security Breach? I dunno. We just gotta wait and see!
I just doubt this note means 'he went away for a while at some point and came back', and it's not like past tense is used when she says her dad has a Faz-Wrench like it is when she talks about him collecting old lunch boxes. It has to be significant, otherwise, why include it?
I believe whatever happened to him, Cassie doesn't know about it yet- but her link to the Mimic, and by extension Gregory, goes deeper than we realised- that's why she was introduced at all in RUIN.
Her story is 100% far from over, but I don't believe we'll focus on her again juuust yet.
We know Scott doesn't drop huge lore without clarifying it in the next installment; Burntrap > Mimic for starters. Dittophobia happened, Steel Wool is now referencing fnaf 4 in tweets tagged as SB and RUIN. GGY is still shrouded in mystery, answers are bound to come up soon! (There are way more examples of Scott confirming lore in the next installment of something, but I can't bring it all to mind right now-- there's definitely plenty of examples, though, and iirc Scott made a steam post about this once)
Gregory had a huge reveal at the start of this year with GGY's release; plus, the Mimic (and how it can control things) was finally introduced in the games.
I think GGY is next to get fleshed out in the game universe, and Help Wanted 2 is the perfect place to start. And, of course, that all links to the people who'd sunk too deep into the mystery; the therapists, Tony Becker, and the technicians.

Cassies dad AU/HC!
So i made the lil design of cassies dad a few ppl liked based off reblog tags lol, here’s some more info about him:
Tumblr media
His name is Mark Ron (he has two first names) based off a Twitter poll where people decided to combine the two names (Ron just a random name I think someone recommended and Mark I believe was the Bonnie mask kid!)
I fuck with the theory that Mark Ron was the kid with the Bonnie mask hence the name and him liking Bonnie
Based off the lullaby in Ruin I’m gonna assume the story is opposite so instead of the boy it’s a girl and instead of the mom it’s a dad since it is about Cassie being manipulated
Based off that lullaby Cassie’s mom seems to be out of the picture, dead or deceased we dunno
Mark Ron I’d like to assume retired from the Plex due to a work related injury that made him too worried to work in a injury prone environment as a single parent
Hence also why he has some facial scars from shrapnel explosion that happened
Due to Mark Ron liking Bonnie the best, he tried to have Cassie favor him too when she was younger but ofc the gal went with Roxy, I think that’s such a parent thing of him to do lol
Mark Ron currently just works with manufacturing goods now with the supplies department, a more safe job where he’s not working directly with machines
He still tinkers and has his own workshop in the garage, he normally fixes up the neighborhood kids toys and is working on a old car
He’s around 23 when Cassie was first born, went to a trade college to get a job quickly to support him and his girlfriend and child due to the unexpected pregnancy, when Cassie is in the DLC he’s around I assume 35?
