Dadsy Moments

Pigsy always makes dāo xiāo miàn after a big fight. They're nothing special-- good food doesn't have to be special, just good-- but they're warm and comforting and it makes him feel better.

Mei is awake by spite and sugar, grabbing a surprisingly muted picture of her food before digging in. MK was never a big foodie type-- the kid's like him that way, knows good cookin' without making a big fuss about it-- and he tiredly slurps up his dinner. Patches of fire mar both of their outfits.

Not for the first time, Pigsy wondered what the hell Sun Wukong was thinking.

It was so simple in the monkey's world, he reflected. Immortality and endless powers. Battling was more to pass time than it was an actual risk. But MK is mortal, and squishy, and Pigsy's goddamn son, and he won't lose him to ancient demons who think throwing him around is fun and games.

"Yer workin' a double tomorrow," he decides, because at least when he's on the clock he's less likely to get murdered.

Authors, cartoonists, comedians, actors, singers, DJ, directors, Youtubers, streamers, magician, models, dancer, talk show host, American Ninja Warrior, acrobat, fire eater and performer? Maybe athletes?

MK I feel would be someone who does goofy things for the odd youtube video. Maybe the rare cooking video where he tries recreating a recipe from a game/show he likes. Does the art for Tang's graphic novel. He's recently gotten attention for a web cartoon pilot he created single-handedly - an actual studio wants to pick it up!! He's so excited!

Mei is already an established celebrity in universe as a vlogger and racer. She does a lot of stunt videos and live chats. Loves doing crossovers with other celebs, even through 6-second tiktoks.

Red Son is more like a person who builds insane stunt cars and robotics. Just someone you know is a genius at these things. He has very blunt and informative mechanic and car-maintenace videos available online. Has built something odd like a Robot who Screams unironically and has a ten hour video of the process.

Pigsy definetly is like the chinese Gordon Ramsay of the demon cooking world. Loud, easy to anger, but calm and understanding with children and people who honestly dont know better. Gladly goes on a media blackout whenever he feels like it.

Tang wrote a really popular book/graphic novel inspired by the "Journey to the West" and is just loving the attention. He shares a lot of concept art online and sneaks his ideas into fanfic sites under a pseudonym. He always grins whenever someone argues that "Tang would never have done X to that character!!!" while writing as GoldenCicadaYumYum. Also does a foodie travel blog on the side under the same pseudonym.

Sandy is like Jeremy Wade from "River Monsters" mixed with Jackson Galaxy. He accidentally gets attention because he recorded some really good fishing and cat behavior videos, and he gets contacted for a travel channel-type show where he investigates the role of cats and their impact in different parts of the world. He loves his work, though his producers keep telling him to stop adopting every stray he finds in his travels.

Nezha in both the LMK & Nezha (2019) verse would start out as infamous "pranksters" celebrity before trying to shrug off fame entirely. Becoming a mechanic or a taxi driver. Keeps getting recognised and hates it.

Ao Bing I feel does something phyically beautiful but demanding. He's a famous ice/figure skating prodigy, having successfully won a bronze medal for China at the Olympics at his first ever competition. Is currently struggling how to juggle all this new attention now that he's training for the skating Grand Prix.

* Scorpion Demoness LOVES to listen Tang’s stories, both of old legends and of his adventures. He may or may not make himself sound more heroic than he actually was, and she may or may not know that he is. She lets him do it anyways; he’s having fun, so why ruin it for him?

* (THIS IS WHAT I MADE BEFORE THE WHOLE SEASON 4 BEING RELEASED FIASCO HAPPENED SO UHH. SORRY FOR THE EXTRA DELAY??? ANYWAYS CONTINUING ON!)

* I think she’s also a bit of a foodie herself, so they really bond over good food. And therefore a lot of their hang outs either end or start at Pigsy’s! (She sometimes feels like the third wheel when it’s her and Tang that are meant to be hanging out bc of him and Pigsy bicker-flirting; she gets back at him tho by gushing over Spider Queen)

* I think she’s super strong. Like so strong she doesn’t even realize her own strength. They pass by the arcade Mei and MK like to play in and decide to try a couple games, one being a test of strength type game. She breaks it the second she touches it. They immediately run away from the crime scene

* Bc I am incapable of not including my ships in some way: Double dates! The first one is always as hell bc. Well. Spider Queen not only flirted with Pigsy (and Tang but that did Not work), but also kinda maybe planned on eating them? Haha, it’s okay she’s past that now! Doesn’t mean she won’t tease them a bit and mumble something like “This would taste better with some mortal blood mixed in” as she sips on her drink, side eyeing the scholar and pig man. Meanwhile Scorpion Demoness is just clung to her arm and when she asks “What was that, sweetie?” (Unaware), SQ just smiles sweetly and says “Nothing~!”

* Tang: Really? Spider Queen? Sure she’s pretty (from an aesthetic point not romantic of course), but she’s evil!No offense but you can do better! SD: … A Pigman- Tang: HES AN AMAZING COOK AND A KIND MAN!!! HE IS ALSO A LOVING (while strict!) FATHER!!! HE’S A DILF SCORPS-! SD: Augh, no, Tangy!! Don’t call him that! Tang: A /DILF/!!!!!!!!

* Now this kind of doesn’t work with most of my headcanons but the scenario is in my head now so: They wingman for each other but by trying to make their respective crushes jealous; SD gushes about Tang like she’s interested in him around/to Pigsy and vice versa. This backfires in the sense that they do get jealous but now SD is banned from Pigsy’s and Tang almost gets eaten again

* They have a book club that’s just the two of them at first but she convives Tang to let Yin, Jin, the purple demon lady (idk what we call her), and the… Little guy… forgot what he’s called, join them! It is the most chaotic and rowdy book club there has ever been

* SD always wanted to have a cliche sleepover and Tang is more than happy to indulge her. They paint each others nails (neither are very good at it; SD is a margin better tho and gets better over time. Tang does not), do face masks and play games like MASH. SD maybe suggests doing a spooky activity like chanting Bloody Mary 3 times in the bathroom. Tang maybe has a heart attack when supernatural stuff actually starts happening. They maybe have to call MK and Mei to save them from said supernatural stuff. They talk about their crushes, oooh~

all he’s known since he was young was that Pigsy found him. he knows that normal people have parents which must mean he has them—had them? no. MK never likes thinking about too hard— but as far as he’s known, no one has searched for him, no old missing posters of him……was he truly so burdensome to be thrown away?

swk’s “the problem is you, kid” in 1x01 when he was trying to teach MK that belief is his strongest adversary in accessing his powers and controlling them, for example

anyway, another example is Pigsy’s constant shouting. none of his words are meant to be taken literally bc it’s all empty threats and emotional constipation (like look at Tang smiling all goofy while Pigsy blows a fuse. this guys knows Pigsy’s full of shit exploits that like the husband he is)

The reader for context acts like Po from Kung Fu Panda! They are a foodie, kinda stupid, a fangirl, and clumsy! All these things, RedSon would never suspect that she’s a kung fu master. No weapons or magic, he would think that the reader was just MK’s little mascot! I just want a little something of RedSon having a the biggest crush on the kung fu master (but she’s so stupidly oblivious)

He took a deep breathe. "Look." he spoke. "I apologise. I'm sure that it wasn't a pleasant news... But even so the chef Pigsy it's your parent figure, and it won't change your relationship with him, now would it?" You looked at him calmly but also surprised. "You're being nice... To me?"

He fastly got red and get up all flustered. "BECAUSE you're being anoyed with your sappyness!! I RED SON only cares about defeating you!" Yep, he loves you.

What’s would a wedding between any of your LMK ships be like?

Freenoodles wedding bc I am predictable

MK is both the ring bearer and Tang’s best man (would’ve been Pigsy’s but Sandy’s got that spot already; it was a very tough decision for Pigsy but MK assured him he was okay with just being Tang’s). Tang also has a maid of honor cause I said so; it’s Scorpian Demoness bc I love the Tang and SD Besties Agenda

Honestly I can see it multiple different ways (ie It’s a traditional wedding, it’s a eloping situation when they were younger, it’s before they meet (read: adopt) MK, it’s after the current canon, etc) but I’ll just go with it happens sometime after season 3 so Bai He is there and she’s the flower girl bc of course she is (maybe Mei is also a flower girl; they do something like that one video of a guy vibing down the aisle, pausing, and flicking out the petals to the beat. Idk of anyone gets what I’m talking about lol)

Everyone has to convince Pigsy to not cater his own wedding. “No, no, I don’t trust anyone else to make it right. There’s no way they know how to make it like how Tang likes it.” “Honey, I’m certain I’ll be fine! I’m a total foodie I’ll eat whatever I’m given it’s okay!” “No, you say that Tang but then you’re gonna be eating the food, and maybe not everyone else can tell but I can, you’re gonna eat it all but be absolutely unsatisfied! I know you Tang.” Tang holds his hand up to his face, making sure the engagement ring is showing “Well yeah, I’d sure hope you know me~!” Pigsy gets too flustered to object when they finally hire the catering company

(“You’re still not gonna like it, I know you won’t. I’ve spoiled you too much.” “Well then, I guess you better make me my favorite noodles afterwards then!” “…Fine…”)

He does end up making everyone noodles by the end of the night, mostly as a thanks for coming and helping with making sure the wedding goes as perfectly as possible

Their vows are funny and heartwarming and oh no everyone is crying, it’s out of happiness but oh no their makeup-

I think they’d have a mix of a modern and traditional wedding but since I do not know what a traditional Chinese wedding is like, I will not go too into how it would be

I do think either one could have a bouquet, that gets tossed. Who catches it is up to you (I think Mei does but not because she wants to be “next” or anything, I think it was just the competitive spirit in her that made her /need/ to catch it lol)

Shanyao's accidental friend group

There is the group of tough guys that became Shanyao's friend group

Biggs is the chill guy of the group who has a lot people scared of him. You see when Biggs still ate bamboo it made him lethargic and pissed off most of the time. (Because bamboo does nothing for Pandas) He didn't like feeling crappy and pissed all the time so he did his research and decided to overhaul his entire diet.

He meets Shan when Shan delivered the noodles he ordered from Pigsy's noodles. It was one of the first meals of Biggs new diet. Shanyao was very sweet to the poor guy who was grateful he wasn't shaking in his boots even when Biggs was growling because he couldn't find his wallet.

He gave Shanyao a tip and Shan gave him Shan's number. Shan knew what it was like to have anger issues and offered to help him out if the diet was only part of solution. Biggs invited him to a club a few weeks later to thank him for the positivity.

This is where Shan meets Feng for the first time. Feng is your average nearly anti social extrovert. He needs to be around others but has such a shield put up it's hard to make genuine bonds with people. Prone to fist fights he was about to start another with Biggs for seemingly ignoring him when Shanyao was rushing back to the panda's side with their drinks.

Feng took one look at Shan and was like I'm in love. Unlike Xiao in which it took a few dates. He introduced himself and the two chatted most of the night. Exchanged numbers and hung out. He did except that Shan didn't feel the same way about him but they quickly became quick friends.

They bounce off each other in the same way Mk and Mei do.

Chyou met Shan after she crashed into his delivery bike. Shan checked on her after pulling himself off the ground. (He was knocked off the bike and slid 20 feet. Seriously nasty road rash and sprained his left shoulder) Chyou was so upset she thought she killed him.

Yet this mother fucker who's bleeding was more concerned about her. Chyou barely had a scar on her. She is a streamer like mei and makes money on it. So she started a surprise stream to make the cash to pay Shan's hospital bill. Apologies were the only thing that left her mouth for hours. Shan was just glad she didn't get seriously hurt. Shanyao tried to help while he was loopy on pain killers.

Chyou was the one to introduce her grumpy friend Qianfan. Who she met after a accident she didn't cause. Shanyao introduced himself and offered the two a coupon for a combo meal at the shop since Qianfan was actually a foodie. Qianfan it much less moody around Shan as Shan is genuinely a sweet but kinda of timid guy.

Xiao and Qianfan also know each other from therapy. Survivor group therapy so Qianfan was very concerned about Shan when the two started dating. Then went to beat the shit out of Xiao when Shan and Xiao were temporarily broken up. He had to pull Feng off the already bloody wolf who been beaten up by Macaque and Wukong.

Feng never was a fan of the wolf dating Shan in the first place.
