#giving a mini life update #I’m gonna start this off by first apologising for being really inconsistent 💀#I’ve just been very #I don’t really know how to explain it but I’ve just not really been myself #I guess down in the dumps #or winter blues #recently just doing daily life stuff is really hard #and I keep on thinking I’m not doing anything productive at the mo #or not doing stuff that I think ‘normal’ 18 year olds should be doing #so I’ve been beating myself up about it #and the motivation to do anything is gone #like I have no motivation to read or write or to crochet #or just do things I actually enjoy #but hopefully I can get back into the swing of things #since I’ve got some stuff I want to post like more book post before the year is finished #and also finish this book I’ve been reading for like that past month or two #but it will probably spill over into next year 💀#gatherrambles #g/personal

Thinking about the time I yelled "can you ASK?" at a toddler in the park because she completely snuck up on me and touched the dog while her mother was like 100 yards away from us

i miss fall 2020 when hybrid in person school just started again and i only communicated to my friends in an awful clone high jfk voice

#genuinely it was fun asf #i was embracing my cringe.... my hyperfem scene era.......#if anyone wants a mental image i had bright pink hair i put in ponytails and wore kandi cuffs and straight up tutus to school #very very odd time in my self exploration #and the only things occupying my brain were bandori and genshin...#god those first few months of genshin launch. what a time to be alive #also helped that most of my teachers just kind of stopped giving a shit bc of covid #ALSO it was when i got really into painting #tbh that school year was one of tbe best of my life. being 17 was one of my best years #and being 9 11 12 13 16 18 and 19 are the worst 💀#angel.txt

what’s interesting to me though is like. if you go to the ingles i worked at from april 2020-april 2021 it’s a lot of the same people working there that were there when i was there. like the ENTIRE management team is still the same which is crazy to me as somebody who went on to work at a target where 6 of the 10 managers who were there when i got hired no longer worked there when i quit 18 months later

#there were also 2 managers who WEREN’T there when i got hired who i saw get hired and then quit while working there #so that’s like. 8 managers that left in 18 months at a store that literally only has 10 management positions available 💀
