Pieced together a few different conversations I've had over the last few days, and I think Twilight might suspect that Anya was subjected to human experiments.

Twilight has repeatedly shown to be troubled by the fact that Anya seems familiar with Classical Language, which seems to be a thinly veiled allusion to Latin as it is a dead language that isn't widely used any more. But there are two fields that DO regularly use Latin: the medical field, and the sciences. And Twilight is aware that Ostania ran human experiments, which is something that was discussed back in the tennis arc.

Anya is a child, who's past is one big question mark. If she was regularly in and out of hospitals before being adopted, there would be records of that. The fact that there isn't ANY records of Anya's existence and Anya doesn't have any medical scars that are common for children recieved regular treatments combined with her familiarity with a dead language only commonly used by medical professionals and scientists which hints at her spending a lot of time in the presence of one or the other is BOTHERING Twilight. Because if someone felt the need to hide Anya's existence from the rest of the world for six years, to the point where even experts can't find a trace of her, that probably means there is a reason she was hidden. And the fact that Anya would lie to him about it when asked is even more damning.

Like I mentioned before, Twilight is an expert at reading body language, and Anya is a child who is bad at masking her emotions. She clearly had a negative reaction to Loid's question, and Twilight sees that, but doesn't push or call her out on the lie. Because he's putting the peices together, and he doesn't like the picture that's forming or what it means for Anya's past.

Also, while Twilight is most likely suspicious Anya was SUBJECTED to experiments, that doesn't mean he has any suspicion about her powers. It's more probable that he'll assume that the experiment failed and Anya was dumped into the orphanage as the scientists saw no point in taking care of her further. But if he does suspect that she was part of some kind of human experiment, then there's a chance that Pandora's box might be opened soon and the rest of the secrets will come spilling out.

One of my SxF theories is that Twilight is a big romantic and has had feelings for Yor since the very start. I think there are little clues here and there, but there’s one in particular that stands out to me. One that, I think, makes it very obvious how he feels, but it seems to get overlooked. And it all centers around Anya, of course!

I’m gonna use the manga for this, although this has happened in the anime.

In chapter 30, Nightfall shows up at the apartment trying to get Yor out of the picture so she can be Twilights wife. She tries to insinuate to Yor that Loid talks bad about her at the hospital, when she’s interrupted by Loid and Anya coming home.

Anya quickly discovers Nightfalls intent to become the Forger wife and mother and the poor girl freaks out.

So, Anya manipulates the situation, making it clear that she loves Yor as her mama, and no one else can compare.

Her plan works. Loid tells Yor that she is a great wife and mother, right in front of Nightfall, and he gives her these very tender, fond looks.

Nightfall knows what’s up. He’s got real, genuine feelings for his family. (Keep in mind this happens maybe like, a month or two in. They just became a family.)

Anyway, despite her husband looking at her with giant heart eyes, Yor is doubting her place in the family. She’s very worried about his relationship with Nightfall. Anya sees this:

This is important! Because just the other day, Anya was freaking out as well that Yor was going to be replaced. What did she see in Twilight’s mind that made Anya so sure there was nothing to worry about? Did she perhaps see something when he was swooning over his family, something that confirmed in her 5-year-old mind that her papa was never going to replace her mama? I think so. And I think it was pretty straightforward, obvious enough for a child like Anya to understand.

Just to drill my point home, after Twilight plays tennis pro with Nightfall, he deems it necessary to reassure Yor himself. Anya is there to witness this:

Of course, she’s just a sweet little baby, so she doesn’t understand completely. But she does understand that there are romantic feelings at play! Why else would she say all of this?

So yeah, I think Mr. “I can’t have feelings for other people, I must be alone forever” is developing a big fat crush on his fake wife. So much so, that his mind reading young daughter has caught on to it!

Spy x Family miscellaneous collab scans - part 5

I'm back with new scans from recent merch I bought! (another merch post coming soon as well 🙂) I bought these two adorable postcards specifically to scan ❤️

Such cute "before/after the family outing" illustrations~ Did Loid rent that green truck specifically for the occasion? 😅 Judging by the basket that Yor has, maybe they're going on a picnic? Also, carrying sleeping Anya back to the house after a long day of fun 🥰 And I noticed that there's an extra bag on top of the truck in the first picture but not in the second one. I'm assuming it moved to inside the truck, lol.

I also recently got the deluxe version of the movie on Blu-ray/DVD. The casing has nice scannable images, including the below one which I believe was made specifically for the home video release.

I love the design and colors of this pic! It's cool that the main four locations from the movie are in the background: the train, the restaurant, the ferris wheel, and the airship (but they should have included a toilet too 😂)

And lastly, the below two movie images were used on some of the marketing, but the disc case had them without the usual movie text.

Forger Fam and WISE Budget😅

Sylvia’s current concern according to Endo: Balancing WISE Budget

I mean how couldn’t she be concerned when maintaining Strix is so financially consuming.

I mean look at all the expenses the Forger family has made in less than a year:

1.Anya’s tuition that costs about $35,000 to $40,000, and that doesn’t include the uniform and school supplies.

2.Anya’s clothes and she seemed to have new clothes regularly and Endo said these are mostly bought by Loid/Twilight.

3.That castle rent that costs more than $77 000 and added the other check, I'm guessing for the furniture they used, that costs $17 600. (Yes, it costs more than Anya's tuition fee, I mean it's a castle 😂)

4.Loid could also not just be purchasing clothes for Anya. It looks like he also pays for Yor’s wardrobe and Yor mentioned that he got so many clothes for her in the boutique before the Eden Interview.

5.Loid is also the one who pays for their dates, seems like, and his dates with Yor doesn’t seem cheap at all, they seem to dine at fancy restaurants that require reservation.

6.The big heap of cash he pays Franky every time he babysits Anya and Bond.

And here it looks like the check his giving Franky costs 20,000 dalcs that is equivalent to $44,000 (one dalc is quivalent to $2.20). It's even more expensive than Anya's tuition, what?! 😂😂 (Twilight is literally willing to spend a lot money just to be sure that Anya won't be home alone ever again, he's not taking a chance on her being kidnapped again when he left her alone on ep1)

7.Loid didn’t seem to also hold back in spending a good amount of money for their apartments furniture and for Anya’s bedroom and even bought her a lot of toys and picture books.

8.And of course their out of town/out of the country family trips featured in the Code White movie. Those must’ve cost a lot considering they have to book a hotel and all. And according to a movie spoiler from tiktok, that wasn’t the last time they went on a family out of town trip.

Loid Forger does have a high paying profession. However, according to Endo, his earnings as a psychiatrist were only about $140,000 per year, not per month, PER YEAR. How could he cover that much expenses? Of course WISE covers the rest if it was crucial to the mission, or when Twilight insists it to be. I mean he always says that everything he does is for his mission so the one who has to pay was the one who gave him that mission.

(Most of these expenses didn't even contribute to the progress of Operation Strix. It just funds Twilight into sinking deeper into his fake fam and keeps the family even more attached to each other😂)

Endo said WISE is not really generous when it comes to paying their agents but they seem to be lenient on spending their money on the Forgers. I mean they have to invest for their Top Spy's family and World Peace do depend on them.

So Twilight, pile the bills and let Sylvia handle the rest😂

Spy x Family Code: White Analysis

I finally saw the Spy x family movie Code: White!!

It was fantastic. I loved it 💖

Here's what I think (spoilers below the picture 😉):

Twilight

It's super evident Twilight cares A LOT about his family. As soon as Handler tells him someone else will take over Operation Strix, he's worried and, during the movie, he goes around like a crazy man doing all sorts of crazy things to keep his family. Nevertheless, the biggest giveaway about this happens when:

Twilight puts Anya before his mission!! Yes, you read right: Agent Twilight receives a direct order from WISE telling him that recovering the microfilm had priority over rescuing Anya and Mr. Spy puts his daughter's safety first and goes to her rescue (which eventually led to getting the microfilm back, but still).

Yor

Yor is a total mom here. She protects her baby and plays with her too 😌 She acts like a mom too because she's always trying to keep the family together; she's the one who reminds that to Loid when he's all frantic working. Here, Yor displays one of her best quality: emotional intelligence. And of course, during the movie at the big fight scene she looks like a total badass.

Now about the big Twiyor moment...

Like I mentioned before here, there's a fake and a real Twiyor moment in the movie. The fake Twiyor moment happens when Yor gets drunk and asks Loid to tell her how he really feels about her (!!!)...before passing out 🫤 You've probably seen plenty of images about that:

The real Twiyor moment happens later, thanks to the captain of the Twiyor ship 🫡 Anya Forger, who pushes her parents to ride the Ferris wheel alone so they can flirt. Here, Yor tells him (crying) that she saw him with his "girlfriend" and Loid clarifies it was just a random stranger (it was Nightfall) asking for directions. This is when the real Twiyor moment happens:

Listen, we could argue that Twilight here was being a liar and trying to fix the situation between them "for the mission", but I choose to believe something different. In my opinion, Twilight was being sincere and he wanted not only to reassure Yor but to pour his heart out and reassure himself. Come on, the man repeated their wedding vows! He was getting carried away (it was too much for our shy Yor) and if it wasn't for Yor punching him out of the Ferris wheel, I think this would have ended in the Twiyor kiss we've all been waiting 😆 (maybe one day!).

Something worth mentioning is that when Twilight and Yor get off the Ferris wheel, Anya reads their minds, but we don't get to know what her parents are thinking 😏 she just smiles and that's how she knows everything is okay between her parents. Little sus, right? I am sure Anya knows what's really going on between those two (read about that here).

This happens again, when Twilight rescues Anya from the kidnappers. We all know Mr. Spy is bad at expressing his emotions, so when he's finally reunited with his daughter, he doesn't show much of anything. Anya hugs him, picks her head up and reads his mind. Just like the last time, we don't get to know what Anya reads inside her papa's mind, but she smiles. Funny how this only happens twice in the movie, in both occasions related to his wife and daughter 🤔

So now, the big question: Is this movie canon?

In this case, every person who sees the movie can form their own opinion about that. In my opinion, since there was no identity reveal nor anything that would change the plot in the manga, I think it's okay to consider it canon. So, until the author says it's not canon, I'm going to consider it part of it.

Overall, it was a fantastic movie, very funny, with plenty of Forger family moments and that something that makes Spy x family so special 💖

This is such an amazing drawing of Yor, like Endo Sensei drew it so carefully and lovingly but also in the same frame we have Loid waving and he just looks like this.

Which is to say, Loid just looks so cute and smol, yes we see the dark circles but overall figure is devoid of any sharp or harsh lines that is supposed to be representative of the Twilight Persona. Here is he is simply being his true self cause we see [redacted] wave at his friends and smile the same way.

So Fiona’s imagination of Loid crying in Yor’s Boobs Arms is not that far away from the truth, cause he is just like that with Yor.

(Forever mad at the placing of the speech bubble because seeing Loid’s hand cradling Yor’s naked waist is a psychological need at this point)

Remember Nightfall spent so much time studying so many twilights, his personas and missions that she was able to accurately pinpoint Loid’s true emotions with concerns to his family.

So yeah, Nightfall is not delusional when it comes to how she pictures Loid in her head, she knows that as sharp and hardened as he is, he is also just as soft and gentle. She might not be able to bring out that side of twilight like Yor and Anya do but that’s doesn’t mean she can’t detect it.

Yor is very grateful to Loid and Anya because thanks to them she can now go out to more places to have fun, so when she found out that there was going to be a re-screening of the movie “Bambi” at the movie theater, she decided to return the favor and invite them to watch the movie.

Everything was going well until they had to leave the movie theater while Loid was carrying Anya because she started to cry inconsolably at the scene of Bambi's mother's death.

Yor's eyes become moist seeing Anya so sad and Loid so worried , she really was a fool, this was all her fault.

The death of the “real” Mrs. Forger must have devastated them so much to the point that the only way Loid and Anya can move on is to not mention her at all.

Poor Loid, he has no siblings, no parents and Franky seems to be his only close friend, before her, Franky was her husband's only support, and when he wasn't available, then Loid was alone (Sometimes she's curious about Anya's maternal family, but that's none of her business.).

So she had to have a conversation with Yuri in which she asked him to please not bother Loid by questioning him about his past.

“Please, Yuri, leave him alone. Loid is not a bad person, if he doesn't talk about his past or doesn't show pictures it's not because he's hiding things, it's because it hurts him and Anya, it's not nice to ask a widower about his past wife.”

She imagines Loid the first days after his wife passed away, having to take care of a 3/4 year old girl by himself and having to explain to her why her mom is not coming back, she understands, Yuri was around the same age when their mother died, and although she tried to stay strong, she could not keep her voice from cracking when she explained that “mom was very tired and fell asleep…forever.”

Yor had heard of people who after being widowed focus on work so they don't have to think about their loss, maybe, that's why Loid works so hard and comes home so late, deep down he must still miss his wife a lot, even more so considering that Anya looks nothing like Loid so he must look a lot like her.

And now here she was, a failed attempt at a wife that made his daughter cry.

After Anya calmed down they returned home and Loid and Yor read her a bedtime story.

Children must be very perceptive because Anya seemed to notice her distress and decided to try to reassure her by saying that “it's not mama's fault that Anya is sad” and that she's sorry she couldn't finish the movie because she was loving it and was having so much fun watching it.Anya is such a sweet girl, Yor could not help but hug her.

Loid and Anya (and Bond) have only been part of her life for a short time but Yor loves them and would do anything for them.

This was a mini idea I had for a one-shot but I don't know if I ever finished writing it so here it is 😊

I think Yor secretly must compare herself to (her idea of) the “real” Mrs. Forger, but obviously she would never say that to Loid for respect.

Anya is lucky that the lion king movie was not released until the 90s because if she sees the scene of Mufasa's death, she would cry uncontrollably because it would remind her of the future Bond showed her in which she found Loid's corpse.

This was an absolutely delightful little chapter!! AND I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT...!! 👌😆

Today's chapter did one of my most favorite genres in fiction in the MOST Spy × Family way possible...!! 👏😌 So let's talk about it, shall we? 👌😎

This chapter begins with Anya and Bond watching an episode of Bondman, where he is skiing away from the bad guys and Anya asks her papa Loid if they could swoosh too...!! 😆 Loid basically tells Anya no, but then she starts to get really upset, so...:

ANYA GOT WHAT SHE WANTED!! 👏😆 (Loid is such a softie for his girls...!🤭)

Then, the Forger family partake in some skiing shenanigans...!! 🤭

Poor Yor...!! 🤣 Plus, I also love seeing the WISE logo on Loid's sleeve and skis...!! 😖 It always makes me laugh whenever I find them on Twilight or on his stuff!!! 😆

After some more skiing (and even some sledding), a blizzard comes swooshing in...(Sidenote: Twilight and Yor look SUPER CUTE in the picture below!! 👇😆)

BUT NO ONE CAN LEAVE!! 😱

And when that happened, 2 thoughts went through my mind...: One, The Forgers were gonna run into the Desmonds at the ski lodge now that every member of the Desmonds have been introduced; or two, We were gonna partake in...

...A good old fashioned Murder Mystery...!!! 🕵

Now, I wasn't sure yet which of my thoughts were gonna come into fruition... But, the moment I saw all the people at the lodge and saw that there was an urban legend...:

...I KNEW that this was gonna be a Murder Mystery!! 👀 And I LOVE me a good MURDER MYSTERY...!!! 👏😆

But, you what I love more than a murder mystery...? 🤔

THESE TWO MOMENTS OF YOR FREAKING OUT FOR BEING IN THE SAME ROOM AS TWILIGHT!! 💗😍💗

And that was Mission 94, AND OF COURSE I LOVED IT!! 😆 This was such a fun chapter and would have never thought that a murder mystery plot would ever happen in Spy × Family, but here we are...!! 😁

I swear, the moment I figured out that this was a murder mystery, I was like: "How the hell is this going work...?! 🤷" But, it did not disappoint!! 👏😄 This type of plot couldn't have gone in any other way in Spy × Family in my honest opinion, so I think that Endo did a great job with it!! 😁

It never occurs to Yor that there will be a day when she can come home from gruesome cleaning work to a lovely and warm home. 

That she would find a man who understands her, and accepts her as she is.

A man as wonderful as Loid, who is also the father of a beautiful and energetic daughter, and also a proud owner of a great Pyrenees dog. 

A man who will always welcome her home, prepare a good fulfilling late dinner, and also prepare a warm bath.

Yor especially loves it when he joins her, and shares the ‘home - shenanigans’ she missed during her more than 24 hours of work. 

Just like now. 

She rests her head on his shoulder as she closes her lids and listens to the amusing story.

Loid got a real patient emergency during their outing. When he returned to the park, It looked like that Anya and Franky had some kind of dog competition with Loid’s Handler’s dog Aaron, which somehow attracted other people’s dogs to join. Things that started fun ended up with a brawl over some minor disappointment and to top it up, it was suddenly raining, and somehow the park ended up as a big pool of mud.

Yor can easily picture how happy Anya and Bond playing with mud, despite the dirt on their clothes and fur.

Her smile blooms.

“I’m glad you found amusement in my misery during your absence.”

Yor blinks her eyes open and turns her head to look at her husband.

Is he pouting??

She chuckles and plants a kiss on his cheek. 

“I’m sorry dear, I know it’s a pain to clean that dirt from Anya’s clothes and Bond’s fur. But I’m sure you’ve done an amazing job in making sure they are clean before entering the apartment.”

“I thought spraying them with a hose at the parking lot would teach them something. But instead they, alongside Franky, found it to be fun.” He grumbles.

Yor laughed. “Of course. Playing with water is always fun.” Eyes full with mirth she adds, “And it truly wonderful to hear they can have so much fun peacefully. Make my work so much worth it.”

She lifts her hand and smoothens the creases between Loid’s brows. “Don’t you think?”

His eyes softened. He takes her hand and plants a soft kiss. “Yeah. I’m sorry you have to listen to me whining after having such a long day.”

She shakes her head. “Not at all. I love to hear any story coming from you.”

“Only you would find that kind of story as amusing.” He harrumphs and makes Yor giggles. 

Yep. 

This life is so much worth fighting for.

Proportional

Men like him gave up lives like this so that others could live simple and quaint lives. He risked his everyday so people could live theirs. He sacrificed so children would be able to grow up in a world more peaceful than he had.

Anya had come home, beaming and rambling on about something he had no idea about. He had long learned to not try to predict her - she would just throw him for a loop anyway. She kicked her shoes off at the door and beeline it for him. He had half a mind to tell her to put her shoes away, but she was holding a piece of paper that drew his attention more.

Instinctively, he lifted her into his arms as she climbed up him without asking. He caught a glimpse of the colors on the paper before she settled into his chest sideways, and to proudly present him with her object of fixation.

"Papa!" she loudly exclaimed, the paper give a pathetic snap as she pulled it taught between her two little hands to show him, "we practiced porpoises in art!"

As if he knew her all her life and could know indtany what she meant, he corrected her. "Proportions."

She was undeterred by his correction. "I drew our family!"

Loid took in the color drawing before him. The human in the picture were certainly fairly proportional, but the white dog was the same height as the man and woman, he presumed was him and Yor. "Bond is too big. He is as tall as me."

"Yep." Apparently Anya didn't see anything with a nearly 6 foot head to toe dog.

Loid leaned back to look into her shimmering green eyes. "What did your teacher say?"

Anya shrugged and wiggled to show she wanted down, which he complied with. She scrambled over to show the family dog her artwork.

He seemed very interested and let out a happy 'borf!' when she pointed out, very explicitly, that he was just as big as Papa and Mama because he was just as important to her.

Loid smiled softly to himself, wondering if she intended it to be that way or if she was just that good at thinking on her feet. He watched her from his peripheral vision as she put the drawing in his briefcase.

The next day, he sat in his office, waiting for the next patient of Dr. Forger, a man in his early sixties struggling to adapt to life without his wife. He pulled out the drawing from his briefcase and admired it.

He heard Anya in his head, telling Bond that he was just as important as him and Yor to her. He felt his heart squeeze slightly at the memory, a feeling he had long since come to accept as part of his day now, especially when he thought about the Forgers.

He had left it on the top of his desk when his patient came in, his focus quickly shifting to his work. However, the image was not lost on the elderly man.

"You've got the next Michaelangelo on your hands there, Doc." The wrinkles alongsode the man's eyes were ever present, but seemed extra deep in that moment.

Loid laughed good-naturedly. "She is certainly creative."

The old man nodded. "Does she make you happy?"

Loid answered after a pause. He was used to being the one who asked the questions, especially if this nature. "... She does."

"It's a good reminder after all we've seen in our lives that the young see us in such a light."

Loid cocked his head in confusion. "What do you mean?"

The old man pointed at his face in the drawing. "She doesn't see the war scarred soldier you hid under your facade. She doesn't see the sleepless nights that hollow out your eyes because you are tormented by the people you left behind on those fields."

They made eye contact. Loid felt exposed in front of this man who had fought on the opposite side of the line of him. His brain screamed to assess the dangers that this patient presented to Operation Strix, the Forgers, to Anya, but he was frozen in his body. He wasn't anything more than the boy who had lied about his age and tossed away any hope for normalcy at that moment. Not a spy, not a soldier, nothing but a boy who just wanted the world to go back to what it was before that bomb fell.

"She sees her father, a strong, happy man who holds her. Look at the smile she put on you." Once the old man's gaze had dropped from his, he was back in the moment. He felt rattled but still followed the man's finger to show the wide, white smile on his peach face." She drew the same smile on herself." Loid realized in that moment that the old man was right. He and Anya had wide, undefined toothy smiles in the drawing. Yor had a small black line.

Anya saw herself in him. And he knew, deep down, he did too.

"After all we've been through, it makes me happy to see life through a child's eyes." The old man shook his head softly and walked, back bowed, towards the couch. The session proceeded as Loid had planned, but once the door closed behind the elderly gentleman, Loid's mind raced back to the drawing.

He gingerly picked it up, almost as if he was afraid it was going to disappear once he had a grasp on it. He had been so focused yesterday on the proportions, he had missed the reality it represented.

Anya lived in a world where she was warm, safe, and loved. Anya knew that.

There was so much more to secure the world he wanted, where no child was ever scared or in danger as they grew, but he had done a small portion of that work already.

And maybe that was proportional to what he had scarified.

A Phineas and Ferb/Spy X Family One-Shot

"An extended conference overseas?"

"Yes, it's a sort of outreach programs between different countries to share different psychiatric methods." Loid explained to Yor. "I'm sorry this is so last minute. I will try to call you as soon as I get back."

Lying to Yor felt wrong, but it was a necessary evil in his life as a spy. The truth was that he was assisting in a joint operation with a foreign intelligence agency, though the whole thing felt like a bad joke to him. Whoever heard of a spy agency under the title of "The Organization Without a Cool Acronym"? Regardless of his feelings, his mission was clear. He was to rendezvous with the agent known as "The Platypus" and provide backup as required.

"Papa?" Anya, his daughter, pointed to picture in her book. Coincidentally, it was a platypus. "Is this a plassapess?"

"No, it isn't." Loid shook his head. "Just because I'll be gone for a little bit doesn't mean you're allowed to shirk on your studies. I expect nothing less than perfect marks when I return home."

"Aw..." Anya groaned.

"Loid, where is this conference being held?" Yor asked.

"I wasn't given the exact details myself, but it's in a region known as the 'Tri-State Area'."

"And that's about the gist of the assignment, Agent P." Major Monogram said through the video screen. "Find out what Dr. Doofenshmirtz is up to and put a stop to it!"

"If it's evil, sir." Carl's voice said off-screen.

"Yes, yes, if it's evil, put a stop to it." Major Monogram rolled his eyes. "We're counting on you, Agent P."

Perry the Platypus gave a salute and left the briefing room.

"I thought the evil thing was implied, Carl." Major Monogram grumbled.

"It doesn't hurt to be sure, sir. Words can be confusing."

"Not as confusing as this finger trap." The major lifted his hands to reveal his fingers had been locked in a threaded snare trap for fingers"

"Did you put your fingers in that trap again, sir?"

"Carl, we've been over this; if I don't do it myself, then how will I learn when I need it most?"

Meanwhile, in the middle of a city in the tri-state area, at an oddly designed building with the logo, Doofenshmirtz Evil Inc.~, Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz heard a knock at his door.

"I'm coming, I'm coming!" He opened the door to an elderly man delivering the mail. He was fragile and hunched over. In his hands was a clipboard and a large parcel behind him. "Oh, look at you! You're so old! Why aren't you retired yet? Here, come inside and rest for a bit. I can show you what you're delivering is being used for."

The elderly man hobbled in, his left leg limping with every step. He mumbled something alike to a thank you before being seated on a large loveseat inside a laboratory. Unknown to the oddly kind-hearted doctor, the old man was actual the legendary Agent Twilight in perfect disguise. In front of him was a massive ray-gun of sorts, like in the cartoons Anya watched, with a scope and a trigger beneath. At the tip of the barrel was a missing component.

"So, you're probably wondering what it is I'm building with a mind-tapping helmet." He held out his hands. "Oh, I'm a little rusty. I usually save these backstories for my nemesis, Perry the Platypus, but here goes." Through Agent Twilight's perfect mental imagery, every word spoken became a clear picture of the very sad and tragic backstory of the target. "You see, back when I was growing up in Gimmelshtump, it's a town in Drusselstein if you didn't know, my grandparents would always say something, but mean something else. Like, they would tell me to wash the ham, but what they really meant was marinate it, but it was one of those old sayings that grandparents use and, me being a child, I didn't know what they really meant because I'd only heard it said once." He ripped open the parcel, was handed the mind-tapping helmet, and held it to the device. "And that's when I came up with this! BEHOLD, THE SAYWHAT'SONYOURMIND-INATOR!" He then climbed his way to the apex of the machine. "With this inator, people will say what's on their mind and mean what they really say! Like, say your friends want to hang out and, I don't know, do old person things, like play cards, but the way they say it makes it sound like they want to sleep all day, so they'll say what's on their mind! Here, let me try it on you!"

Faster than Agent Twilight can react, the nefarious doctor was already on the ground and using his weapon on him. He was then hit with the powerful radio waves the machine emitted. He blinked.

"I don't feel any different." He said aloud. "Did this mad scientist's machine really work-" His eyes widened as the doctor laughed for a moment.

"Hey, who are you calling a mad scientist? I'm not mad. I mean, I'm mad now, but I'm not always mad." He looked to the platypus climbing out of the parcel package. "Perry the Platypus, tell him I'm not always mad." The platypus in the fedora chittered. "See? He gets it." At this, he gasped. "PERRY THE PLATYPUS?! Wait, were you able to hear my backstory while I you were inside the- OOF!"

Perry punched Dr. Doofenshmirtz, sending him stumbling backwards into his machine. The machine fired off in a random direction before being taken into the hands of its creator.

"There's no need to fight me, Perry the Platypus. Why don't you just-" He fired the inator on Perry. "USE YOUR WORDS! AHAHAHAHA~!"

Perry winced at the sudden radio waves bombarding him. He blinked a few times. He was looked at expectantly by his nemesis.

"Chkchkchkchkt."

"Oh, right. You're a platypus." He then pressed a button on his inator and a net flew out and ensnared Perry. "But I planned for that!" A punch flew in from out of nowhere, knocking the doctor over with his inator. Standing not far away was the old man from before. "What are you doing, Old Man?"

"My name," the mask ripped, revealing the spy, "is Agent Twilight, and on behalf of the good people of Westalis, I order you to surrender your weapon."

"Westalis? Where is that? Is he with you, Perry the Platypus?"

"Chkchkchkchkt."

"I won't allow you to threaten the good people of the world with this strange contraption." Agent Twilight said, fully removing his disguise. "Especially while I am assigned to this joint operation."

"Well, I didn't really have anything planned for someone bigger than Perry the Platypus, but I did have this in case he escaped!" With a push of a button, another net of ribbon spewed forth. Unfortunately, the new agent was too fast to be caught and rolled his way over to Agent P, where he easily ripped apart his bindings. "No, no, don't do that! That is so unfair, fighting two against one!" He groaned. "Of all the days for Norm to take one of his 'mandatory vacation days'."

This vacation day in question included going to the mechanic for a semi-spa treatment involving oil, rags, and oily rags. Back to the fight, Agent Twilight kept the doctor on his toes, swinging fist after fist, easily overpowering his opponent. Meanwhile, Agent P was altering the inator by turning the mind-control helmet around so that the machine would reverse its effects.

"I cannot fail here. I cannot allow my emotions to get the better of me. I must keep on my toes. I need to keep applying pressure and overwhelm my opponent with quick, but meaningful strikes."

"Ugh! I regret hitting you with my inator." Dr. Doofenshmirtz groused amidst his thrashings. "Why can't you be more quiet like Perry the Platypus?"

"Chkchkchkchkt." The OWCA agent chittered from atop before swinging the inator around and firing it on himself Agent Twilight. Agent P patted himself down before giving a thumbs up to his fellow agent from afar.

"Oh, finally! I didn't think you would ever stop talking!" Dr. Doofenshmirtz groused even more.

Agent Twilight was about to go in for another punch when he was dragged away by Agent P. Looking back to the inator, he saw that there was a self-destruct device placed at the device's weak point. Jumping over the balcony, Agent P held tight to Agent Twilight, the two silently gliding through the air to a safe location. On the winds, they could hear the defeated shouting of their shared nemesis for the day.

"YOU DON'T NEED AN INATOR TO KNOW THIS, BUT CURSE YOU, STRANGE OLD MAN, AND CURSE YOU, PERRY THE PLATYPUS!"

A GENT P~!.

"Excuse me, is this your platypus?"

"Huh?" Phineas turned around to see a man standing in their yard, holding Perry in his hands. "Oh, there you are, Perry!"

"I found him wandering around in your front yard, and I thought it was odd to see an animal so far from their home."

"He's not far from his home, he's simply living in a new home away from his natural habitat. We feed him four meals a day, plus treats, and give him as much comfort as possible." Ferb explained in excess.

"Oh, I... see..."

"Yeah, sorry about Ferb." Phineas explained. "He's been a lot more talkative than usual today. It's almost like some kind of radio wave went off and made him say everything that was on his mind."

"That's... quite an imaginative explanation." The man said. "But maybe this will help. I specialize in psychiatric help and this device helps ease those affected by 'radio wave' abnormalities in humans."

"Oh, you mean like brain stimulation therapy?" Phineas asked. "Isn't that controversial?"

"Yes, yes, it is." The man quirked his brow. "But I believe it may be the best way to help your friend."

"Oh, Ferb's not my friend. He's my brother!"

"Ah, excuse me. Now, may I use my device. I promise no harm will come to your brother."

"Well, okay, if you say so." Phineas stepped aside and let the man hold the device up to Ferb before pressing a button. Ferb blinked a few times before the man placed the device in his pocket. "How you feelin', Ferb?"

Ferb gave a thumbs up.

"Hey, it looks like it worked! Thank you, Mr... Huh? Where'd he go?"

"Papa! You're home~!" Anya cheered, running to the door.

"You're back already?" Yor asked. "I thought you'd be gone a lot longer, considering how far you were traveling."

"I was offered a trip on a much fast return flight than the one prior." Reaching into his doctor's bag, he pulled free a plush doll in the shape of a strange creature with a duck bill, a beaver tail and feet, and a strange greenish-blur fur color. "Anya, I found this on the way home. I remember you being curious about platypus before leaving, so I thought you'd enjoy this."

"Thank you, Papa!"

"Oh, that is so cute~! What are you going to name him?"

Anya thought for a moment, then noticed a certain look in his eyes. It was the same look he held when he was in thought of something. Focusing on him, she heard a name said over and over again.

"Percy the Plassypess?" Anya smiled, tossing her plush in the air. "Yeah! Agent Percy the Plassypess~!"

Okay, okay, hear me out:

Spy x Family AU, except Marinette is Loid & Adrien is Yor.

Marinette & Loid both have this alternate self that is very calculative & has the urge to plan out every possible outcome of a situation so they're not caught off guard. Not to mention that both of them have this very strong sense of justice and, each in their own way, are trying to make the world around them a better & safer place. However, both of them also have this other side that is gentle and kind and, essentially, a softy (though this shows more in Marinette bc, well, she hasn't been through the things Loid has been).

Then we have Adrien, who, like Yor, is outwardly sweet & cheerful and doesn't have a clue what to do with Life (TM). But he also has a dark & deadly side, which makes him absolutely consider dirtying his hands if he thought he was protecting the ppl he loves (*cough* derrision *cough*). I can totally see him become an assassin if it was the only thing he could do to protect his loved ones & bring food to the table, esp if he was taught to do that from a young age.

Also, some of my other headcanons for this AU (and pls beware of possible spoilers for sxf if u aren't caught up or want to watch):

- Emma would be Anya, obv, and like Anya, she has telepathic powers and can read her parents' minds. (Side note: I was considering making Emma a creation of the peacock miraculous & for that to be the reason she has her telepathy powers, but then I realized the miraculous existing in this AU might not make much sense, so I'm putting it on the backburner. If anybody wants to explore that, though, be my guest!)

- The plushy u see in Emma's hands in my drawing is Tikki, which is the equivalent of Mr. Chimera in the anime (however, alternatively, The Handler could be Tikki & in turn, The Shopkeeper could be Plagg. But going with my initial idea...)

- The cat in the picture, then, would be Plagg, who is the equivalent of Bond. However, unlike Bond, Plagg is a little shit & he knows it & therefore gives Marinette a lot of grief. But he's very cute when he wants to be, and Emma is very set on keeping him, so Marinette resorts to silent psychological warfare with him. Surprisingly, Plagg is pretty chill when it comes to Adrien to everyone's surprise.

- Just like Bond, Plagg also has psychic powers. However, I can just see him hissing in annoyance everytime a vision pops up. :D

- Adrien is secretly an assassin who exterminates traitors with his special dagger(s) that he calls 'Cataclysm'.

- Marinette is a spy who is tasked with getting close to her target, Chloe Bourgeois. She has a customized gun that she prefers to use that she calls her 'lucky charm'.

- Also, the same as the anime, Marinette's agent name is 'Ladybug' & Adrien's is 'Chat Noir'.

- Chloe is Marinette's target (I know Desmond & Gabriel are crazy similar, but I think it'd be pretty weird to have Gabe & Adrien in the same universe & for them to not be related).

- Chloe has 2 children: a twin son & daughter who r attending the same prestigious school. The daughter (which I haven't chosen a name for) is the equivalent of Becky & the son (which I also don't know the name of) is the equivalent of Damian.

- Chloe's daughter lives with her father (who I imagine is Luka bc it's a guilty ship of mine, but eh), but she also pays for her child support and education, so her daughter was raised like a princess and therefore has the same princess tendencies as Becky.

- Chloe's son is still pretty much the same as Damian, so not much to add there. (Yes, exactly like Damian. If you know, you know :) )

- Lastly, I will leave you with this out of pocket notion: Felix as Yuri and Kagami as Fiona (and yes, I very much ship them, even in this AU :) )

MHA Boys + Men When You're on Your Period Headcanons

I'm on my period and my boyfriend is on a work trip. And so, I have turned to my magical and animated boyfriends. Slight Spy X Family spoilers, plus some really stupid Naruto references because I think Anime-ception is a thing.

And also I just started watching Spy X Family and holy cow! Why did no one recommend this to me sooner?

Boom Boom Boy: AKA Katsuki Bakugo

Let's get one thing straight. Mitsuki taught this boy well. He knows how everything down there works, and he knows how pads and tampons work. Hell, he even knows about period cups.

He does not, however, know how to use this knowledge in a public setting. His mother, also, did not have bad mood swings during her period. You, on the other hand...

"Damn you! What's wrong with you Loid?!" You yell as you throw the empty wrapper of your favorite candy. Suddenly tears start to flow down your cheeks. "He does care!"

Bakugo is standing there, watching you, trying to figure out what to do. Mina, or mom? Mina, or mom? As he stares at his phone he realizes Mina is probably the better option. "Hello?" Mina answers, surprisingly energetic for the late time.

"Help," is all Bakugo says. Twenty minutes later Mina is knocking on his apartment door, Jirou, Denki, and Kirishima in tow.

"I brought her favorites. Along with these," Mina says, allowing her three companions to step inside. Each held one to two shopping bags.

An hour later and Bakugo has been debriefed. He's as grumpy as you, but at least now he knows why. I mean, what man - actual father or not - lets his wife and daughter be treated like that? Shame on you, Loid Forger.

Mind Control Man: AKA Hitoshi Shinsou

Hitoshi, unlike Bakugo, is not the most well-versed in women. Or people in general, for that matter. He'll be supportive, but he'll be shit at it at first.

Mood swings? He thinks you hate him. Hormonal acne? He offers you a facial. Not wearing white? He tells you you look great in white. Not sitting down? He tells you, "Your feet'll get tired."

He's trying, though. He'll even ask Aizawa for help. I personally headcanon Aizawa keeps period stuff in his desk for the girls.

If you do tell Shinsou you're on your period he's going to be googling until three in the morning. He's going to help you out. He'll even get pads and tampons. By asking Aizawa.

"Here you go, Hitoshi," Aizawa says, handing Shinsou a small box of things. Denki, who was also in the room runs up.

"What was that?" He asks, looking at Shinsou's retreating frame. "I want one!"

Denki now keeps pads and tampons in his dorm room.

If you two stay together and have kids he'll definitely teach them about periods. Male or female, so his kids don't go through what he did when trying to figure out how to help.

Bird Brain: AKA Keigo Takami

Keigo's an adult man, he has female co-workers. He knows how periods work. He also knows how to be a little shit any day of the week, but when he forgets you're on your period and tries to do something annoying, let's just say he sleeps at the office for a while.

Picture the scene. You're watching Naruto in bed, eating a chocolate bar when Hawks comes in. You're on your period, and he would know that if he looked at the red dot on today's date on the calendar. But he doesn't, and that's where his problem arises.

Because you're about to lose what sanity you have left over anime, and Hawks wants to have fun. So as you're diligently watching your computer, cozy on your bed with your favorite blanket, Hawks decides what to do.

"Honey, I have a meeting. You need to come, and since it's Halloween soon it's a costume party. I'm going to dress up as my amazing self."

You knew the bull he was trying to pull. "I'll wear my devil costume," you say, walking over to your closet and pulling out a red and black body con dress, red heels, and horns.

While not comfortable, it was nice to see the bird brain dumbfounded for once as you pulled off your horns before walking into the room, stealing the eyes of all his male (and a few of his female) colleagues.

IcyThot on Thursdays: AKA Shoto Todoroki

Last, but if you say he's the least I'll throw you to Endeavor. Or the Dekusquad/Mina, whoever's closer. :)

This boy has had a very... traumatic life. Suffice it to say periods are not something Endeavor thought Wonder Boy needed to know about.

BUT, he has Mina, possibly Jirou, definitely Momo, and their respective boyfriends to turn to. And turn he does, a full 180º.

He's sweet, hot, and portable. The perfect ice/hot pack. There's a reason he's called IcyThot. Whoops, that's hot, isn't it?

Jokes aside, however, he also has his sister, who I'm sure was able to say something to him at some point. Maybe.

Anyway, he's gonna be cuddling you whenever you want. And tracking your cycle.

Spy x Family Episode 27 thoughts!

We start with something very relatable

I love how the family just lets Bond lie on the couch. He takes up the entire space with how massive he is, and yet they allow him that. I love it.

I pretty much immediately read the respective manga chapter of this after I was done, and I've gotta say, before that I was very confused with what Bond was imagining. I don't think that the anime showed clearly what was going on.

Instead, I actually understood it when I read the manga, which made it pretty clear that he was confused by seeing only black in his vision, and then was trying to come up with ideas why this would happen.

Even as I rewatch the episode, I still think it wasn't made clear in the anime.

I love, however, how Bond could imagine that, for whatever reason, Yor would blindfold him in order to surprise him with something. And the way she would lead him there is adorable XD

A lot of adorableness in this episode in general, but then you hit right in the drama.

Like any research facility escapee, Bond fears he'll be found by the people who experimented on him and will be immediately executed. But...

THIS REALLY HAD NO BUSINESS BEING THIS FUNNY. Bond was right there getting traumatized and fearing for his life and I was actually laughing my ass off. The little butt-naked angels! Bond having a halo over his head! The drama of it all! I love it XD

Then I nearly damn cried when he went to look at the family pictures and THE FAMILY THEME PLAYED. MA BOI JUST WANTS A FAMILY 😭😭

I also love how he imagined Loid saying he lived happily. Bond has indeed found a place that makes him feel loved and safe and happy, and he knows that the family knows that. And the way he imagined Loid tearing up for him and understanding what a positive influence this family was on him is very important; Bond's mind may be simple than his human family's, but maybe exactly because of that he sees past the façades and the lies, and into his humans' souls.

And then he just resorts to the fact that he will die, and wants to go say goodbye 😢

I just realized that Bond understands Anya can read his mind! And only Anya. I don't know why it took me so long. Perhaps I had understood it but it never registered, lol

Unless it was a new moon that day, it's amazing how focused Anya was on studying. Here was Bond with a face that practically said "Do the cool thing and read my mind!" and Anya was like "Nope. Homework." I immediately imagined it was a new moon day and she actually couldn't read his mind, but it may be a safe assumption that she's learning to control her power? Idk.

But then Bond sees that Yor will make an absolute horror of a dinner for him.

How is she so out of it that she doesn't realize the monstrosities she's creating. I love her.

I'm still trying to piece things together, though. There's a clear difference in visual between reality, vision, and Bond's imagination.

Bond thinks that he'll die by eating Yor's food; it's not a certain future.

This doesn't explain the black in Bond's vision, though. It could be a red herring, idk.

In any case, he takes Anya's words from their first days together very seriously, so he doesn't even attempt to say no to Yor's food.

And though we know Yor is way too sweet to even shout or give a stern look to someone because they disobeyed or made a mess, it also makes sense for Bond to immediately consider his mistake will be met with violence. He spent a significant amount of time of his adult dog life in the research lab, where the scientists abused him, hurt him and belittled him. Having trouble trusting a new environment is typical abuse victim behaviour. So even though he feels loved and protected there, his trauma can still rear its ugly head whenever disobedience is involved.

And so Bond finds the solution. Help Loid come home earlier from work so that he can cook food for him!

For all his intelligence, Bond's perception of "humans working" is still stuck on the times of when humans first domesticated dogs. He's like "human put spiky rock on wood and then hunt". How does one explain red tape and politics to a dog, either way XD

Bond runs out of the house and I immediately wondered why Yor didn't immediately run after him, before I remembered that she couldn't leave Anya home alone.

And thus, Bond's adventure in Berlint begins!

The hot dog vendor called Bond a stray and I'm like wow, stray dogs in Berlint must be in excellent shape if people see a dog with a massive white fur that's clean and smooth and don't immediately assume he lives in a house with two clean freaks.

Once again, the art style here is clearly showing that this is in Bond's imagination, which is more influenced by his traumatic experience in the lab than his actual experience with the Forgers. I almost felt it was unfair how Yor was portrayed in his imagination!

I felt so sad for him in the bridge! Boy just wanted some food that wouldn't kill him 🥺 and then I laughed my ass off.

What an absolute unit this dog is!

His adventures continue until he finally catches a whiff of Loid's scent and he's off to help his human!

And we have a truth serum in the world! That could be an awesome opportunity of a Chekhov's Gun! While in general the spy things happening seem to be rooted in the real world, Endo also takes the James Bond route sometimes and I would really like to see if that stuff actually has an impact in the story later on.

(As usual, I'm anime only, so don't spoil me for later developments in the manga!)

Bond finds his human, relieved he'll be given safe food tonight!

Bond starts leading Twilight down a clear path and I'm very, VERY interested by how Twilight reaches the conclusion that Bond wants revenge on the scientists who abused him.

And if you ask me, in the manga his expression looks even more sympathetic. Look at that worried brow there.

At least the anime didn't rob us of blushing Twilight this time *grumble grumble*

Bond doesn't understand one bit of what Twilight is saying, though. He just wants food.

It's classic Forger family misunderstanding and jumping to conclusions, but I feel it says a TON about Twilight's character, not only that he considered Bond would want revenge for how he (and the other dogs!) was abused, but also that he honoured that supposed wish of Bond and didn't try to change his mind. I mean, it also helped him in his mission, but this time "For the MissionTM" wasn't in his mind at all, at least regarding Bond.

I think it's the first time that this happens? That he brushes his "for the mission" aside and focuses on what his family wants - at least, consciously. He's been doing that from day one but I think this is the first time that he does it knowingly. It also helps that he knows Bond would never be able to report him as a spy so he doesn't mind being a little more open with him. Wow. It's amazing in how many ways this family gives this man opportunity to reach back into his emotions and self.

Anyway, yeah. I think it says a lot about how sympathetic Twilight is, how much he values justice and feelings of vindication, and also how he believes that Bond wanted revenge not only for himself, but for his fellow dogs too. And of course, how he then helped him get his supposed "revenge".

I mean, it's one of the few logical conclusions he can make with his limited intel at that moment, but still I find it interesting and very telling that this is the conclusion he settled on.

Again, Bond doesn't understand a word but he settles on a positive borf since that will make Twilight finally move his ass so he can finish early and come back home and cook for him.

BOI HUNGY

Twilight behind him like "But what about your revenge?!!"

Another small difference between manga and anime, as in the manga Twilight looks actually distressed about getting home late. In the anime he's just... "eh".

Like, make up your mind guys. Is he more emotional in the anime or no?

I'm using my Sundays in a very productive manner, you see, dunking on overworked and underpayed animators.

Bond has his vision of the staff coming back and Twilight saying he'll be late, and we see angry Yor in, once again, the "imagination" style.

This is not the real Yor. This is the Yor traumatized Bond makes up.

Maybe, in a way, he doesn't understand that Yor's horrible cooking is 100% unintentional. When we see his flashbacks in episode 15, the people there threw some horrible-looking mush at him to eat and told him to be thankful for it, too. So he probably correlates food of bad quality with bad intentions, so it could be a reason why he imagines Yor being so cruel to him.

This. Was. Hilarious. I don't know if it's Anya's influence on him, but it was amazing to see him do something that a hardened spy like him would consider childish and yet be so effective in what he wanted to do 😂 Also, boy doesn't even try to hide? T. as in Twilight/Tasogare? How is this man a spy I swear to god

Action! Bond beating the shit out of the bad guys! Loved it!

Despite the very serious implications of a truth serum being developed and used, we don't get to see Twilight's thoughts about it. Truth serums, if effective, could be detrimental for people like him, especially when fallen into the wrong hands. Of course, simply destroying their samples wouldn't do, as they could simply make more, so he doesn't bother with more than just one vial needed for WISE's analysts. I wonder if we'll get to see more of that in the future.

Bond's vision clears, and he gets to see the real way Yor would react.

Anya looks very curious in the background, and I wonder if that's her face as she reads into Bond's mind, or if she's curious exactly because it's a new moon and she can't read his mind and is trying to imagine what could have happened. I need to know!!

(I don't. Don't spoil me if it's revealed - though I doubt there's that much more to be revealed about this chapter XD)

This man really invested in Bond's revenge huh. He just made it up in his mind and then went like "He got his revenge! I'm so happy for him!" Whatever floats your boat, dude.

Speaking of floating boats...

I don't have that much to say about the second part of the episode, other than a couple parts here and there.

I'm still not even close to liking Damian but I cannot imagine the kind of emotional abuse this six-year-old must have gone through to hear "do not shame your family" and take it as fucking praise, my GOD. I don't like the kid and I'd be a lousy parent but even I would treat him better than that.

As I've said before, there's a lot of personal trauma that rises to the surface whenever Damian is involved - especially after seeing how some fans tend to completely dismiss how much of a bully he is - and I was actually dreading this part, but it managed to hit some good spots. His friendship with Ewen and Emile still needs work, but the way they purposefully threw away their free day and angered Henderson - who by the way, got their intentions from the first moment and was like are you serious - all because they didn't want Damian to be alone was really heartwarming. If they caught Henderson in a bad day they could easily risk a Tonitrus, and I think that's something Damian will have to appreciate at some point. Maybe not immediately, but he'll get there. What this boy needs is not to be tapped in the back and told "Your trauma justifies bullying the girl you have special feelings for", but to be told he's valued as a person and not for how much he fulfills his father's expectations.

Mr. Green is a SUPER interesting guy!! He's funny and down to earth and sympathetic and he gave this parched anime-only some political commentary finally MY GOD

DEFECTING TO THE WEST YOU SAY

The fact that defecting has taken a code name speaks to how much of a common yet covert practice it is. The boys immediately fear that they will be sold off to Westalis, same way George Glooman feared that when he thought his dad's company had gone bankrupt. Then they ask why someone would even leave Ostania and Mr. Green is like "Well we have a beautiful night sky!" I don't know if he was being sarcastic, but I absolutely love how we got that insight into how deep nationalistic propaganda runs in Ostania, especially from the point of view of three innocent, very privileged but also sheltered kids.

"Why would someone flee" well for starters there's this thing called surveillance--

So beautiful it even touched Damian and not only had him break through his very disciplined upraising and he admitted he is enjoying the sight, he also laughed like the kid he is. I gotta admit this touched me.

Look, as I said, I have a lot of personal feelings and traumatic experience that influence the way I see Damian. I don't hate him and I want him to be better... I just feel really uncomfortable whenever people try to act like his bullying isn't that bad, or is justified, or even isn't bullying at all. And no matter my efforts, seeing fans talk about Damian like that has influenced me negatively to the point where I have to consciously try to not hate him. I understand that all of those fans have read the manga and those developments I see now are years-old news to them by now, but I still feel there's a very big space between what I see and what that part of the fandom sees. I don't need to see an episode where Damian relaxes and gets a little in touch with the kid he still is to understand he deserves better. But I also don't think him doing that undoes the emotional damage he inflicts upon Anya. He can be a bully, and he can be a victim, both at the same time. I'm just saying... if you're someone who will jump to his support whenever you hear takes like mine... maybe take a moment to think if you're putting your feelings over a fictional character over the feelings of a real person who is still carrying scars from having been bullied as a kid.

Yeah, that got a little personal, I'm sorry. But I'm not here to make objective analysis and I'm probably the only anime-only here talking about the story in such depth. I just wanted to make my stance clear, that's all.
