aaa tysm!!! 💖💖💖 i'm a monster high girlie to the core and i wish so bad that that aspect of cupid's origins was like. acknowledged. at all. i need to know how cupid handled the shift from the sickest most liberating place in existence to some narc ass dystopia that goes against everything she believes in. no freak flags are being flown no ghoul kids are ruling this is not freaky nor is it chic or fly and it most certainly is NOT fabulous. cupid had such an important perspective to offer the rebel/royal conflict and they just. made her a lovelorn extra over Literally Some Dude (sorry dexter you're nothing to me). everyday i lament the fact that they never once pointed cedar's revealer rays at cupid and gotten the shock of their lives.

I think the Green Witch arc shows how much Sebastian means to Ciel. Even when he was having a PTSD attack, Ciel does not resent Sebastian for wanting to eat his soul. He may have resented Sebastian for eating his brother’s soul—as shown by the “ghost of r!Ciel” haunting him—or perhaps he simply felt guilty for “sacrificing” his brother’s soul; but not for Sebastian going after his own soul.

Even when they first made the deal, Sebastian remarked on how easily he accepted it, when most people tend to panic when it comes to this matter. Maybe Ciel just does not value his own soul well enough—but I think it’s because he sees it as a fair trade; him giving a fair compensation for Sebastian’s services.

And perhaps it may look cruel or unfair in the eyes of others; Sebastian is simply a predator taking advantage of a little boy being abused and traumatised to eat his soul—but to Ciel, who had just lost everything, the only reason why he could gather up the strength to survive was by leaning on the demon’s power. Sebastian saves his life that day and helps him find a new purpose. Although he was supposed to die as just another tragic victim; he was instead reborn as the heir of Phantomhive. All of it was impossible without the demon by his side; his source of power.

Even though that power comes from a trade with his soul—even though Sebastian will end up devouring his soul in the end—Ciel can live and grow to become who he is today because he has Sebastian by his side. Sebastian gives him the motivation to overcome his past and the strength to pursue his future. Ciel has no time to hesitate or be haunted by the ghosts of the past; guilt means nothing when he has already made a covenant with the devil. There is only one destination to run to—and Sebastian will make sure he takes every step forward towards his revenge.

To Ciel, Sebastian is both his saviour and his end.

Also while I’m on the subject of Bunny, there’s no way she wouldn’t be friends with Ashlynn. They would definitely get along and keep each other on time to every event, and they would take Alastair and Hunter out on double dates where those two would spend the entire time chasing down Pesky. Also Bunny feeling like an outcast cause she came to Ever After a lot later than the other Wonderlandians, and hasn’t quite adjusted, while Ashlynn feels like an outsider because of her relationship with Hunter and rebelling against her destiny! I also wonder if Ashlynn would be able to talk to Bunny while she’s in rabbit form, so Bunny wouldn’t have to worry about being a person constantly

Kinda hate that they took an opportunity to flesh out Azura as a goddess of change/potential and just shoehorned an entirely new prince in. Like we didn’t need a new prince to contrast Mora with beauty, willfulness and power over fate because we already have one. And it would’ve been so easy to just say “Hermaeus Mora locked away the part of Azura that could directly alter fate so now she mostly acts through mortals using her remaining power to perceive fate instead of changing it.”

Even the aesthetics of Ithelia are perfect for Azura. Namely the mirror motif. It encapsulates Azura’s ties to vanity and prophecy as well as her split depictions. We even see the inside of Azura’s Star in Skyrim looking exactly like Ithelia’s wings and hear of Azurah binding Meridia in the void with mirrors. Imagine a world where the mirror motif was paired with roses and watercolors to form a “complete” form of Azura. A mirrored deity forming a triple goddess with her reflections. This being linked to how Azura seems to change her form to suit her worshippers who perceive her: Some message of pride and free will linking to creating one’s ideal world. It could’ve been great.

I love all of the Primarch children content people make, especially the discussions about how potentially horrific the pregnancy would be for the baseline mother, and I wanted add my own little spin on it. So here's the pitch:

What if they weren't perfect? What if, instead of superhuman demigods like their father - or even a normal, healthy baseline like their mother - the Primarch’s child is a weak and sickly little thing; the natural gestation process having been unable to properly compensate for the extraordinary weirdness that is Primarch genes?

'Cause, they were made in a lab, right? With each gene painstakingly implemented and worked to compensate for oneanother in order to create a viable being. So, what if without outside intervention their genes just can't healthily gel with a baseline's?

So, what the couple had thought was the baby sapping their mother of her vital nutrients to fuel a Primarch's level of growth and strength was actually their baby fighting tooth and nail to develope at all. And even after having taken such a steep toll on their mother's health, the child still comes out small and underdeveloped, barely clinging to life.

That's it, that's the idea. Primarchs with chronically ill and disabled children because of their fucked up genes. Send tweet.

till makes it his mission to expose the aliens (mostly ivan. he has personal beef with him) to the rest of humanity, but he's the boy who cried wolf. no one believes him because he's been talking about aliens and bigfoot and mothman and whatever nonstop all his life.

till loves the supernatural but also fears it. it consumes most of his waking thoughts. he doesn't like how quickly the aliens grow close to mizi out of a desire to protect her from the (presumed) threat. he's kinda like if dib invader zim was some gay art kid instead of like a supergenius

this threatening feeling comes from till assuming that ivan and sua are on earth for some kind of conquest and or abduction reasons. are they actually? who knows...

mizi is a bit of a hopeless romantic and finding out that sua was an alien only served to make her fall for her more. she could think of nothing more romantic than this scenario, actually. even till screaming danger at her cannot deter her from her love

ivan fights with till and riles him up because he finds how expressive he is utterly fascinating. he says its to "learn more about humans" but mostly he just wants till's attention. he himself doesn't know why he wants this attention, though.

sua and ivan experience a range of emotions in a similar way to humans, yet their species is discouraged from acting emotionally and isnt taught about what any of their feelings mean. all they know, at the start, is that these humans draw some kind of strange feelings out of them that they've never felt before.

(it sticks with the overall theming of alnst being about trying to understand exactly what love means.)

ivan and sua's earpieces are multipurpose tools. they're connected directly to the brain and can't be taken off. they can be used to generate their disguises (its a hologram type of thing), works as a translator so they can communicate with other alien species, etc.

what looks kind of like a nose on the aliens' faces is not a nose. their antennas are used as their olfactory system (they are also quite sensitive)

till is no longer crushing on mizi at this point in his life. sometime during middle school mizi came out to him as a lesbian and so he told her he liked her and it was a whole thing and they both cried. it ended up serving to strengthen their friendship. its been about 4 years-ish since then and theyre still inseparable

till works some kind of shitty service job part time, at which he met hyuna. she's like his cool older college friend and sort of older sister. he plays with her band sometimes

this takes place in who the fuck knows where midwest united states, and the humans are korean-american. till is first generation and usually speaks korean with his mom at home

it takes a while for till to first get a glimpse of ivan and sua's undisguised forms, though when he finally does something about them seems oddly familiar to him.

mizi sees sua's undisguised form long before till does. she does not tell him this

luka is an alien too. wonder what he's up to...

thinking about reintegration in severance and how fucked up it is actually. like that's not two halves of one person coming together; by the time your innie has existed for more than a few weeks even (let alone several years!!!) that is a whole entire other person, whose personality and values will have been steadily diverging from your own since day 1. and then whatever is produced by the reintegration procedure is not like, both of these individuals cohabiting the same body; it is a third, monstrous thing, a single entity that is simultaneously 100% their innie and 100% their outie, with all of the internal conflict that comes with that, and so ultimately they are neither. the only way for an innie to survive outside of lumon is to be subsumed, without warning, into another person. and for the marks, maybe it won't be so bad - they're different, for sure, but their values and goals seem to more or less align. but i think one of the worst and most sickening things the show could do at this point would be to have Helena eagan reintegrate with Helly R
