Since talking to Adrian, Franziska was more than sure to win her case and finally set her score with Phoenix;

She knew what she was doing, hiding testimony and "controlling" Adrian, but she truly believed in what she was doing;

You decided to follow her to finally understand what this case was about, since she always came back from work to continue her investigations and paper works about it;

You helped her with tidying them on the way to the courthouse and listened to her arguments over and over;

That was until you heard a deafening noise that startled you, pushing away Franziska as a reflex;

You didn't have the time to look around when something burning hit you in the side of the stomach;

you both realized that it was a gunshot when you saw everyone started running away and your wound started bleeding profusely;

At that moment Franziska snapped from his world where she thought only about the case;

Someone already called, screaming, the ambulance, so she tried to just stop your bleeding while slowly processing what had happened;

She didn't even think about entering that courtroom while you were in that state;

Franziska already knew that Miles was ready to take over her role as the prosecutor, so that was the last worry;

When the ambulance arrived she just ran for her car again to follow it, asking about your state as soon as she arrived;

every thought possible crossed her head: "Who shot? Who it was aimed for? Was it for her?";

The answer will then come during the trial, but for now she just wants to erase herself from the scene;

As soon as she was allowed in your room, she just sat beside you and waited for each update on your state;

Only when you were allowed to come back home, she could give her head some peace;

She had to go to the courtroom again after Miles asked her, but after that she remained glued to you, making sure that you received every possible and needed care, cuddle and attention;

Of course, as soon as she knew De Killer was behind everything that happened, she assigned herself to every case that in some way included him, his past and recent crimes, trying in every way to make him pay for what he did, in particular to you.

Thinking abt Ace Attorney Social media HCs

Phoenix: Technologically illiterate, doesn’t really know what social media is or how to use it and refuses to learn because the longer he keeps up the bit the funnier it gets

Edgeworth: Doesn’t particularly care for social media, but found out about tumblr through Maya and now has an anonymous Steel Samurai account. His tagging system is meticulous and he has all notifications turned off. He treats it like he does office work. He and Maya are mutuals. Doesn’t have a personal account to speak of

Maya: Runs a semi-popular canon url pink princess and steel samurai fan tumblr. Also has a personal Instagram that’s mostly her eating burgers

Pearl: Didn’t have social media for a long time because of Morgan, but Maya introduced her and she has a very inactive private Instagram. She’s also in charge of the Kurain Village socials, which are very neat and professional

Mia: Was technologically illiterate and died before the social media boom was completely inescapable so nada

Diego: Socials weren’t as big before he fell into a coma and afterwards he doesn’t care too much about his image so he has nothing. HOWEVER, Maya started a twitter called “dead philosopher wisdom” that’s just random Diegoisms. He’s doing NUMBERS on there but is unaware of it because he doesn’t use twitter

Franziska: Knows how social media works because she needs it for her job but doesn’t use it very often. Her account has like 2 posts on it and she mostly uses it to keep track of targets and online paper trails

Kay: Runs an instagram account called “Edgeworth where he shouldn’t be” that’s nothing but silly and embarrassing candids of Edgeworth. Oldbag won’t stop messaging her asking who she is and how she’s getting these pictures

Apollo: Has a twitter with two followers that he uses to retweet and comment on legal academia news. He’s super active on all the law forums and legal advice columns and unfortunately has definitely posted on r/AskALawyer on mutliple occasions. His real claim to fame, though, is the anonymous Instagram he runs for his cat Mikeko. It’s called “The Pawsecutor’s Office” and he dresses up Mikeko like all the prosecutors (Miles Edgepurrth, Clawvier Gavin, Franziska Von Catma, etc) for photoshoots and silly skits. It’s wildly popular and Apollo would die if he were revealed to be behind it

Klavier: Super popular across all platforms and loves being silly online. If Edgeworth saw all the thirst traps he was posting he would prolly have a heart attack

Kristoph: Has a very minimal personal account for professional reasons but his REAL online footprint is the dozens of alternate accounts he uses to cyberstalk people and send his brother hate mail

Athena: Perfectly normal social media user. Has personal accounts that she posts to occasionally with cute photos of what she’s doing. The only person using it correctly

Trucy: Insanely popular on socials for her magic act. Knows how to market herself online better than anyone. She has a smaller personal account where she occasionally posts silly things about the WAA

Blackquill: Ran an edgy anime Tumblr for years before his incarceration and was posting on AO3 a lot. He comes back after his release explaining the break between chapters of his latest fanfiction was due to him being put on death row for seven years and continues posting normally with no mention of his prison sentence ever again. When he finally posts another AMV it’s a joyous day indeed

Ace Attorney 2 au where everything is the same but she lugs around Manfred von Karma's metal urn, whenever someone talks shit about him, she pulls it out and says tell it to his face. She definitely throws it at someones head at some point. This is her version of grieving, she will do the same with Edgeworth if he turned out actually dead.

recently i watched great video about Franziska by @musashi and whole 2 hours i was like "YES YES SOMEBODY TALKED ABOUT IT THEY SAID EXACTLY WHAT I TRYING TO EXPLAIN TO ALL MY FRIENDS FOR THIS YEAR Y E S"

and well i think it's my turn to talk about Manfred. because i like this moron. before you ask me wtf let me explain: miles made unforgivable, stupid, aggressive and childish stuff. nobody can grew up in awful condition and become clearly good person. i like him because of his ambiguity. all fandom likes him. but i don't understand why everyone hate Manfred so easy

of course we don't know enough about him, his past, his relationship with family (i mean wife, for example). we only have different headcanons about how he raised miles and 'ziska. but.. it's strange for me why everyone accept so fast that "he is a villain, he is murderer, he must die, forget about him"

first of all, he is prosecutor, lawyer. probably hereditary. me too (seriously), and I saw mean, authoritative people, who can't communicate with their family well, but.. they still love them. you know, all that stuff about justice will settle in your soul forever, when you see courtroom, when you talk with other lawyers (your parents colleagues) from early childhood. you will never forget it, it's part of your life from the beginning. you can be mean, you can make awful mistakes, but you will remember. and probably your parents will press you with all this perfectionism, aesthetic, study and lawyer dynasty stuff. same as Manfred has been pressed, same as he pressed his children later

of course Manfred worked for victory, not only for justice. but i can't believe he did it because he e v i l. maybe he is just like miles in his youngest carrier because of demanding teacher and loathing to criminals? that's why he thought his children same stuff. he was just.. doing his duties. prosecutor must blame someone. somebody must get punished. death, especially violent, is always tragedy. relatives of victim are waiting for explanation, for punishment. it's so painful

next thing: Manfred is old. and he has toddler, and this toddler has noone exept Manfred, her father. i agree that Manfred could take miles because "ah look at me i adopted my rival's boy cause i'm SO generous and obviously NOT guilty ", but how about more reasons? another one child is always lots of work: money, school, adoption documents, this child also has a dog, so it's headache about vet, passport for transportation it to Germany, then dirt and maybe bitten furniture, food for both of them and more, more, more. we can see in anime, that Manfred allowed to take dog too. and by the way, he agreed to raise miles as prosecutor (he didn't force him), he helped him. quite possibly he gave him great education. Manfred understood, that Franziska need someone, who can protect and support her when he leaves her. he also can write it in testament

and how about AAI flashback? Manfred was ready to stay with miles during his first court. he discussed with him details before the beginning. he argued with detective to allow miles and 'ziska get to crime scene. he appointed them to investigate (no one of them asked about it directly, they were shocked and tried their best)

i think Manfred just another traumatized step of long von Karma dynasty. remember how Franziska hug herself when you press her against the wall? compare it to Manfred sprites. he is so self-defensive, when he loses control. controling everything around him — the only thing he can do now, when he became "that smart old person with lots of subordinates". and then Franziska remembered that and trying to repeat. i believe Manfred can be good in little things, he capable to love. i think he literally gone mad with understanding of what he has done on emotions and everyday pain, which reminds about that day

A lot of people like to characterize Manfred as an abusive parent who puts perfection above all else, to the point of micromanaging his kids lives' and while there's nothing wrong with that interpretation (It isn't at all out of character) I personally prefer to think of him as leaning more on the neglect side of the shitty-parenting-scale.

Manfred is know for being both ruthless and dedicated during his career as a prosecutor. He pours so much effort and passion and time into his work. Into being perfect. Canonically, he only ever took one vacation and that was out of absolutely necessity.

Work was his number one priority. I imagine that parenting would come second to all that.

I think Manfred probably spent long hours at the office, leaving Miles and Franziska home alone often. Burdening the two kids with the responsibility of caring for themselves and each other.

This would explain Franziska's whole...thing...really well, in my opinion.

Franziska grew up so quickly because she had no other choice. She was forced to look after herself. She had to be creative and resourceful to get her needs met. She had to become bold and violent in order to be noticed, because when she wasn't constantly announcing her presence, she was being ignored.

As for Miles, he probably got more attention than his sister but I imagine the kind of attention he got was mostly negative (Manfred telling him what he's doing wrong and needs to improve on) and very clinical. He taught Edgeworth how to prosecute and in doing so treated him more like an unruly pupil than a son.

Manfred never cared about Miles on a personal level. He didn't take an interest in the kid as a human being. To him, Miles Edgeworth was a means to an end.

Just like for Franziska, I think this kind of neglect would go a long way in explaining Edgeworth's behavior. He has so much trouble expressing his emotions (and feels embarrassed when he does manage to express them) because in a neglectful household having emotions and needs is treated as shameful. He has been taught that his feelings and hobbies and personal life are inconveniences at best which is why he goes out of his way to hide those things, even when he's an adult. This would also explain his approach to interacting with other people. If most of the time Edgeworth was alone (or with Manfred or Franziska) than it only makes sense that he'd start to feel detached from the others around him. That kind of thing can really deteriorate both a person's social skills and their compassion.

Phoenix: coffee if he's at work. Energy drinks of he's not.

Miles: tea, obviously, and he's obnoxious about it. I do think he will submit to coffee if he's really really tired though.

Maya: she'd say herbal tea. In reality it's a lot of soda.

Gumshoe: a coffee man of ever I saw one. He puts milk and sugar in though because he doesn't like the taste otherwise

Franziska: she had an insane order with a million specifications and she gets mad if it's wrong in any way at all

Pearl: fancy Starbucks coffee of the season. She has coffee mornings there with Maya and they try them out. That's the only time she's allowed caffeine because she gets hyper

Mia: coffee but she's not picky. Milk no sugar

Godot: do I even have to say?

Apollo: coffee but absolutely no preference beyond that

Trucy: teas, I think Miles taught her how to be snobby about it as well

Ema: that woman shot guns those cold espresso shots and redbull back to back daily

Klavier: frapaccinos. But if he's prepping for a gig it's herbal tea.

Kristoph: takes caffeine pills instead because hes paranoid about his drink being spiked because that's what he would do.

Ace Attorney Prosecutor Headcanons: Which Ones Would I Let Babysit My Child

What it says on the tin. Unhinged ramblings

Miles Edgeworth? No, probably not. It would depend on what point in the timeline, but likely a no. He is just too likely to get entirely absorbed in something and not notice your kid falling in the toilet or sticking forks into electrical appliances. Maybe for just a couple hours. It'd be funny to watch him playing, like, Candy Land.

Franziska Von Karma? Actually, depending on the kid, sure. I bet she's better with kids than you think. She would probably take them horseback riding or something really cool and rich person that they would remember forever. However she would also 100% make your kid tuna salad and when they complained about it, she'd be like THEN STARVE!

Godot? No. Nope. Absolutely not. He would literally immediately forget the child existed. If he did happen to remember he would forget they are a child and let them just like, attempt to fry bacon on the stove at age 5. The house would be burned to the ground when you got back and he would just be like How morbid a sight when the flames from Hell encroach upon our mortal plane. Almost as dark as my coffee

Klavier? Yes! Yes, absolutely! Klavier would be the kind of babysitter kids adore and call their friend. I mean come on who wouldn't love to hang out with a rock star while your parents are away? And bonus for the parents, he's actually responsible?? Fantastic. He would teach the kids to play guitar and they would write songs together and he'd put them all on an EP for their birthdays.

Simon Blackquill? For an older child, I actually wouldn't be too against it. He's snarky and not particularly tender, but he is a very caring person and I also think he would be enjoyable to converse with if you were old enough to keep up with him. He would put on old-timey samurai movies when they got tired of talking. Also, if a burglar broke in, he would absolutely kick that burglar's ass.

Nahyuta Sahdmadhi? Nope. No thank you. Those kids would be in bed with lights out at 7pm, all vegetables eaten, and crayons put away in the order of the rainbow, and the kids would HATE him for it. Definitely the type of sitter to pull out the big lectures when kids are misbehaving rather than save it for the parents to deal with. Also, I do NOT trust him not to make a child cry. Like what if the kid was like HEy wHy aReN'T yOu mArRieD yET??? You CANNOT tell me nahyuta wouldn't just be like Idk timothy, why do you still wear diapers? 🤭🤭oop! In his defense though he would absolutely play Candy Land with enthusiasm

So I made this post a while ago that has some of the prosecutors and antagonists, but if you want a ranking of EVERY prosecutor (not including DGS bc i haven't finished yet) huzzah!!

Simon Blackquill: Not actually homophobic but he gets points docked for siccing Taka (known homophobe) at Klavier (known bisexual) for stealing his pretzels from the office pantry that one time. 3/10

Blaise Debeste: I think he's gay but he made me look at that ugly ass beard for far too long and I consider that disrespectful. out of principle? 8/10

Sebastian Debeste: Just look at him. 0/10

Miles Edgeworth: Bratworth was simultaneously gay, homophobic, and a misogynist, and eventually develops into a man who is only like 1.5 of those things. he's getting better. 5/10

Byrne Faraday: I don't really think he cares much about gay people he's busy being a single father and stealing shit. For the apathy? 2/10

Klavier Gavin: He's extremely gay and does a lot of work for the gay community but making Ema Skye deal with him is explicitly lesbophobic so 4/10

Godot: He has a lovely wife but whatever he was doing with Ron DeLite was probably not osha-compliant. I don't know what that means for his sexuality or stance on gay people and neither does he. ?/10

Ga'ran: I think she has a lot of other problems she should deal with first but considered she's bigoted to defense attorneys I don't think her being homophobic would be that out of pocket. Not sure I want to find out. 7/10

Neil Marshall: Have you ever been a gay bar? This guy would do NUMBERS. Also, real cowboys support gay rights. 0/10

Gaspen Payne: Being homophobic is actually why he got fired by the prosecutor's office and Winston is really fucking embarrassed about it. 10/10

Winston Payne: You'd think he'd be homophobic but you can't work for the Japanifornia Prosecutor's Office and hate gay people or you would actually go insane. He's like that one suburban guy who uses terms from the 60s but has the spirit. However, his ally lapel pin is really ugly so 3/10

Jaques Portman: He was calling Edgeworth slurs even before realizing he was gay. 9/10

Lana Skye: Dated Mia in college but refused to explain that to Ema because she has a lot of internalized homophobia and other weird issues of self. Repressed yuri personified. 1/10

Nahyuta Sahdmadhi: He supports gay people but gets all his talking points from the internet so even though he's supportive he's also incredibly fucking annoying about it and no one wants to invite him to brunch because of it. Stop using twitter for fact-checking you jackass. 2/10

Franziska Von Karma: Despite the fact that her lesbianism is so strong it borders on misandry, I think she has a lot of internalized homophobia so she spends the first 25 years of her life being a judgmental little shit. She'll get better dw about it. I believe she can bring that number down with time. 6/10

Manfred Von Karma: I think when he finds out Edgeworth is gay he starts going to gay bars and picking up dudes just to show Edgeworth he has way more rizz than him. Considering how people in my notes have told me on numerous occasions how much they want him carnally, I think he could actually pull it off. In that respect I think he's done a lot for the gay community. It ends up cancelling out somewhat because I think he'd be kind of an ass about it. 4/10

a/n: i feel like i have to say there is nothing wrong with having "childish" interests! i own a few plushies and figures myself, so i'm not trying to shame anyone here! <3

it's not obvious that you're into "childish" things, as you are pretty good at masking it

franziska doesn't notice anything about it for quite a while, though she does start to notice that you never seem to invite her over to your place

you know that it's because of the stuffed animals and action figured that you avoid showing her, not wanting your girlfriend to know you are into those things

however, franziska doesn't know that and can't help but get suspicious that you never invite her to your apartment

so much so that one day she shows up at your place with take out in her hands, concealing her sudden visit as a surprise date

you're too perplex to stop her from walking into your apartment and as soon as she's in, she spots all those plushies and figures you were trying to hide from her

though she doesn't show much of a reaction, which only ends up making you more nervous

but when you apologize for the mess and attempt to put them away, clearly embarrassed that your girlfriend saw them, she stops you, telling you that you have nothing to apologize for!

she's no detective, but even franziska can see that those things mean something to you and that you are embarrassed about her finding out about them

but to take some of that embarrassment away from you, franziska decides to confess to you that you're not the only one who hides plushies and action figures when their significant other comes over

turns out she still has a few steel samurai figures that she got from miles and a plushie from her dad that she always hid in the closet when you came over

sure, you clearly had more figures and plushies, but in the end, you two weren't so different, which was quite a relief to find out!
