Hi!

We have a few questions for you!

First, is it possible/normal for tuplas to start responding verbally almost immediately? My tuplas Jax & Jasmine were accidentally created when I was 12, and from what I can tell they started talking almost immediately, but were pretty undefined as people.

Second: Do you have any tips for learning to co-front and how we can learn to switch who's fronting? We have a final goal of functioning multiplicity with mutually beneficial fronting to help with daily life, but aren't sure how to start.

All three of us are interested or curious about learning to co-front/switch fronts & I, the host am mainly the one curious about our first question.

Yo! I'm gonna combine these two asks into a singular one since it's way easier. I'm gonna answer things bottom-up since the second one gives more context 👍

So there's a lotta crossover between paragenic systems and tulpas, which makes a lotta sense because it's really similar in the how you're starting with a non-autonomous concept of a person that then gains autonomy & awareness for themselves. Especially with unintentional tulpas, there's really a thin line between em. From what we know, most paragenic systems call their members paratives: "a member of a system that was originally a para. The development of a para into a parative is unique to neuronarrative plurals, immersive daydreaming plurals, or systems that have Maladaptive Daydreaming Disorder." Which means that it's kinda up to you what you feel like; if it seems like your system members used to be paras and then turned into full system members, then you might like paragenic more; but if ya feel like tulpamancy terms and concepts fit wirh you better, then go ahead and use that one! Labels are just things ya use to describe yourselves, is all.

And here's the secret part: you can still use tulpamancy techniques if you're of another origin! A lot of it is writtwn for previously-singlets that don't have any dissociation problems, so you gotta know yourself best when you go into looking into this stuff with a dissociative disorder, but it's still super useful for a lot of people. Fronting/switching/possession guides are the reason I'm able to front at all, plus maybe our non-tulpas too 👍 What helped me a ton when I was first starting was trying partial possession first- the first part of the body I ever controlled was the voice, actually!

For your last question, it's not super unusual for different tulpas to hit different points of development/awareness/personhood at different times. For some people the awareness comes first and then the emotions and then the mindvoice communication, but for others it can be in a buncha different arrangements. My guess with amateur-knowledge on MaDD is: the fact that you daydreamed with your proto-headmates primed them to be able to respond with their mindvoice way easier, while they were still developing a sense of self behind it.

Super Basic WHB guide in the easiest way on how to get keys

This is especially for newer people going into whb

HOARD EVERYTHING!!

These red gems are your primary currency. It's not like obey me, where You can use these suckers to exchange for demon ass... No, it's more like Genshin Impact. You still want to hoard these red gems because you can buy keys with these Oh my God do not use it to buy anything else.

You used to buy 30 red keys (equal to 10 summon more on keys later) in the pancake shop But this has changed pancakes are still kind of good I guess... Because with enough you can purchase a whole legendary character but that's for people who have them...

Money and books are super worthless The only reason why you're going to have so many is because you're going to be grinding these battles. Trust me you're going to want to!

You're not going to have Solomon seals often and when you do there's highly likely a chance you probably won't get anything So really save your seals with everything you have unless you want something you really want

50 seals = 1 summon

500 seals= 10 summons

So you need.... A lot of seals. It's not worth just to summon just hoard them until you have about over a thousand... Hoard them with everything you have

DO NOT USE SEALS ON CHARACTERS THAT WILL BE SUMMONABLE 3 MONTHS AFTER.

Now keys!!✨✨✨✨❤️

Yellow keys are not as good as red keys but they're still pretty good. You also get them more often than red keys. You can use as many of these greater keys as you want though you're not going to get a lot of good stuff.

Red keys however... Save them save them like your life depends on it. Only summon them when a character comes out The only way to get keys is to have characters...

Now I don't see a lot of people talk about how to get keys per se... So here's how you get red keys.

Every character as rank and up has an affinity button... Which mostly just talks about useless shit occasionally a comic or a chat depending on the character.... But no one cares about that.

If you click on it and scroll that bar goes all the way to 100.

ALL CHARACTERS GIVE THE SAME AMOUNT OF KEYS SO IN REALITY S RANK CHARACTERS ARE BETTER BECAUSE THEY AREN'T AS RARE AS L CHARACTERS.

They only give you keys three/two times per character

characters give one 100 greater (yellow) keys

And 21 red (lesser)keys

It's not enough red keys yes but you still get those greater keys which you could possibly use to summon hopefully getting an S rank character...

Do not use your red keys You should be only using your yellow keys unless a legendary character you like is coming out!!

make sure You complete the weekly and daily missions for those red guilty gems and the little bits of keys they give you

Perhaps older Formula 1 fans knew this was a thing, but this was a surprise to me. I went to the Mercedes-Benz museum for the automobile history and knew they had the silver arrows on display, but I didn't know how much, if at all, they acknowledge the current team. When you enter this giant circular room, the first thing you see are the names of every race driver that has competed for Mercedes, in gold foil, revealing themselves gradually as the dim lights hit at just the right angle. I gasped at the beauty and smiled so widely at seeing my guy up there. Forever part of Mercedes history, no matter what tomorrow brings.

I have recently found myself speaking again to once-nobles and remembering interesting differences between us and our Karrakin neighbors, so in the interest of cultural exchange let me tell you this: On Sanjak we tell the story of Passacaglia differently. 

To those who grew up on the story as told by the ones who would make a great hero of the man, you'll recognize most of it, but I'd ask you to pay attention to the details of the story, and consider what we Sanjak see in it.

Once there was a man who lived in the shadow of a ruler. Like us, he was born ignoble, and like we once were, he was pledged to labor in that ruler's fields. He and his family would toil, day in and out, and produce great quantities of food that would be tithed to the man that owned his land and his pledge. One day he would unify the people and rule under the name Passacaglia, but before he was just a man who turned soil to wheat in the shadow of the great city Reis. 

But Reis was troubled: there were raiders at the borders, both the desperate and the spiteful, those left hungry by the tyrants in power and those sent by those same tyrants to bite at the heels of the one Passacaglia was pledged to. 

In those times, as now, it was common for those in power to look upon those below them and see them as things to be used. So too did Pasha Reis, the ruler of Reis, who looked upon Passacaglia's family and saw naught but serfs who could be traded for continued safety from the raiders who plagued his borders. A deal was struck: Passacaglia's family may be made fallow so that the peace can remain. 

The peace brought the deaths of twelve of his brothers over twelve years of fighting, as the tithe Passacaglia's family paid the nearby Pasha was repaid in silence. Bearing the grief of his brothers and the rage of his mothers, Passacaglia begged Pasha Reis for aid. He was refused. Another brother died. Passacaglia begged again, on both knees. He was refused. Another brother died. A third time, he groveled and cried for aid. He was refused. Another brother died.

Left then with nothing else to do, Passacaglia and his last remaining brother, Anaxandron, looked to the people of their commune and the great city they bordered, and then back to the lord who had left them for dead, and came up with a plan: Passacaglia would deny the tithe and take to the city to seek their aid, and Anaxandron would spread word of the dereliction of the Pasha from his duty. And so Passacaglia left for ancient Karrakis. 

He returned with a great many soldiers and a great many weapons to find the people of Reis turn coat to join under his banner. Anaxandron, who spoke of the cruelty and betrayal of the Pasha, had swayed the people of Reis, who had come to find that the true enemy is not the one outside their gates but the one above them. 

Stood by the throne of Reis, Passacaglia looked out. He saw the nature of the world around him as the Pasha once did. Reis is but a fragment of the whole world, its injustices a mirror to the injustices made manifest in Laurent, and Cosimo, and Dellamar. Across the surface of Karrakis, other families were made fallow, other brothers killed. His anger, once abated after the death of Pasha Reis, was ignited by the firebrand once again, and he pointed the people of Reis at the thrones of Laurent and Reis and Cosimo. Ahead of them, the words of Anaxandron, that those in power stayed in that place only for betrayal and violence, spread. The other great city-states of the melee fell as Reis did.

At the end of it all, Passacaglia stood in the ancient city Karrakis and looked upon the known world. He saw the people liberated, and saw the banner that they waved. He had been the tip of that spear, and he knew himself to be just, felt the Firebrand at one hand and the Titan at the other. Passacaglia looked up once again, to a higher throne even than Pasha Reis ever held, empty. The old rulers failed, he thought, but they did so because they had to compromise to the powers around them. Reis was threatened by Cosimo and so had to cede lives to maintain the peace. But Passacaglia thought that would have to bow to no one: he thought could bring justice and prosperity by his hand alone.  So the wheel turned: a tyrant replaced with a kinder tyrant. A revolution betrayed by the allure of power. One kind of oppression replaced by another.

We tell this story to our children as a lesson on the nature of change. It is not enough to rid the world of a tyrant only to replace them with a better one. The reign of Passacaglia and his progeny produced the reign of Tyrannus, which produced the system we fought so hard to overthrow. Only when the revolution seeks liberation for the people and not the elevation of a better tyrant can it end the cycle of violence that we live within. 

My mentor Ozia used to call him the Fool's revolutionary, but I think that pays too much disrespect to the Fool. Of all the Passions, the Fool teaches us humility, that we may look upon ourselves and see ourselves as fallible and capable of erring. Passacaglia learned no such lesson. In this way, he lives in the hearts of the nobility now: they do not see the error of putting power in the hands of a virtuous few. 

Consider this lesson carefully. When he stepped on the road to war, Passacaglia was told that the empire he would build would make monuments to his mothers and brothers from the ashes of other mothers and other brothers, and he would trade the families of others for the comfortable peace of empire. He chose to ascend to the throne regardless. Here I warn you now: this is the nature of all empire, and all revolutions like Passacaglia's.

before everyone gets sent to the middle of the galaxy*, we don’t see chibichibi do that much that could be described as interference with the past timeline but one thing she does do- the first thing she does at all- is rescue kakyuu. it's at least implied that kakyuu would have died otherwise- she even tells the starlights "Several times I tried to go to you. But my body's recovery took longer than expected... ChibiChibi was the one who helped me a lot." ultimately kakyuu helps usagi get to the galaxy cauldron, meaning her presence isn't inconsequential.

chibichibi also attempts to prevent the starlights from meeting kakyuu. she refuses when they ask and also did not at any point bring kakyuu's incense jail to them. now she obviously didn't feel that strongly about preventing it, she could blow up the starlights if she wanted, but i don't think she would've initially been against it for zero reason. and there is no way she doesn't already know their relationship even if you ignore that chibichibi is sailor moon from the future because she's been regularly talking with kakyuu about the starlights over the past few weeks or so.

this leaves me with some questions:

-what happens in the ‘first’ timeline that chibichibi/sailor cosmos originated from? mainly, does kakyuu live or die in that timeline? we don't actually know for sure despite the implication. does she live, but in a worse/damaged state? if she did die, how does chibichibi know her at all- hearing about her from the 'first' timeline starlights?

-why try to keep kakyuu from the starlights? attempted damage control to prevent the timeline from getting too different?

-if chibichibi’s interference caused kakyuu to live when she originally died, why do this? did she want someone to temporarily keep usagi company after all her friends died? did she just feel bad for kakyuu? did she know having kakyuu alive would get them to the galaxy cauldron more efficiently? clearly sailor moon got there one way or another in the ‘first’ timeline, and kakyuu implies that her star system (and by extension herself, as a princess) is just one of many that are all less powerful than our solar system, meaning she likely doesn’t possess the unique ability to travel there. it seems she just CAN help usagi get there because she knows where it is. but chibichibi herself could fulfill that role. so kakyuu is not necessary to get to the galaxy cauldron. therefore...?

i don't have answers. maybe to her it's like a videogame she's playing for the second time and she's like Ok This time i will see what happens if kakyuu lives. maybe she genuinely didn't know/forgot who kakyuu was and found her on the side of the road and was like 'well i might as well help this random passed out cosplayer while i'm here' and then it was thee alien princess and she was like I can't kill her now it'd be awkwarddddd. intergalactic toddler of mystery
