Something I think about a lot is how Rick Riordan very rarely uses "girlfriend/boyfriend" to refer to Percy and Annabeth within their perspectives. They're so intertwined, even Annabeth says in hoh that the word boyfriend isn't strong enough, because Percy was a part of her. They are a singular soul, too wrapped around each others' fates that regular labels are far too weak for them. But, Rick Riordan uses "boyfriend" a lot in Nico and Wills perspectives, not because they love each other less than percabeth, but to show how much the word means to them. Nico uses it any chance he gets- "his boyfriend," "he actually had a boyfriend," because Nico has never been able to say that before. Their struggle with their queer identities mixed with Nico's catholic guilt and chronic everyone-hates-me disease makes the fact that he has someone to call his actual boyfriend so much more important to his character development.

I hadn’t drawn the house of hades boys in years! Curse me! This isn’t exactly a remake of an old painting but it’s in the vibe of how I used to draw them all the time. Poetic and stealing kisses

things mr d does for his own entertainment:
convince percy he's his dad (he isn't), then asks him to get him alcohol (he's not allowed to drink alcohol)
telling percy zeus is very likely mad at him for stealing the thunderbolt (which he didn't steal)

The few snippets of dialogue I've seen from from Hermes in Hades 2 really reaffirms a core part of whatever his relationship is to Charon to me: Hermes is extremely invested in making sure Charon has someone to talk to.
Please say hi to him. Please make sure he's doing okay. Please look out for him. Someone needs to be checking in on Charon and be there for Charon when Hermes can't be.
Maybe it's because he recognizes Charon is a loner and doesn't have people who worry about him. Maybe its because he knows Charon has a hard time communicating. Maybe its because Charon is a workaholic and will put the people he cares about before himself. Maybe he just really fucking likes Charon.
Probably all of these. But I had that assumption in the first game, and I'm glad its canonized (or so it seems) in second. Hermes worries about his big skull faced man's mental and social well-being so much that he's asking the children of Hades to take some time out of their big important 'find my mom/dad' quests to make sure boatmen aren't too lonely without they speedy chatty birds.

Ok but I love this discussion between Moros and Nemesis? We learn in a different unrelated interaction that Nemesis has worked with Moros in the past to depart fitting retribution onto some poor schmuck who sought such consequences so this discussion is definitely one where each are familiar with the other's job/role. And each are speaking from the perspective of their own roles here.
Nemesis's job is to see to who gets consequences for their actions and what those consequences are - therefore, from her perspective, it is she is the one who makes those independent decisions. Cause yeah, she's normally the one making them. But Moros is Doom yes but also an emissary of the Fates, and regularly saw how timelines are shaped and even in an unrelated conversation with Mel, confirms sometimes he and the Fates choose to make the interesting Choice just cause they'd like to see it happen. In his perspective, people are not independent actors but a product of the Fates's designs, further reinforced by how he himself was never really an active participant outside of those choices. He was always a watcher, not a do-er. It's so interesting to see these differences in POV here coming from different walks in life.
Also I love how it devolves to basic "no u" sibling convo at the end lmao.
