Thinking about solar eclipses in Greek mythos and I like the interpretation of Apollo having a Wardrobe malfunction and Diane/Artemis having tp scurry over with a change of clothes, shielding her brother from mortal eyes as he changes.

Of course, those that want to peek upon Apollo's Holy Beauty are struck through the eyes by Artemis' arrow. She does NOT tolerate nosy parkers, as her history shows.

I think it would be so funny if Angel just like, didn’t exist before David.

Now, they absolutely did, and obviously Caelum didn’t just create them into existence.

However!

Imagine: no digital childhood photos, they ‘deleted’ all their photos of Micheal (the ex), and weirdly have no photos of their old cat, they never speak of siblings, don’t speak to their parents, no social media presence until like a few months before they met David.

It’s not suspicious in the slightest, because all of these things are normal to some extent. They’re explainable. But there’s just something about it - A twinge of abnormality about them.

Maybe if a stranger looked at them for the slightest bit too long they could notice. Maybe everyone who knows them has just gotten used to it. There’s just a strange presence to them, a displacement. Something ethereal, something other - like they were a guardian angel sent down just for David. Their friends joke about it, they ask, and every time the answer is vague or Angel goes on a tangent away from the question. It’s fine. No one pays too much attention. That’s just how they act.

But.

If you focused for too long, thought about it for more than a fleeting moment, it’s almost like they didn’t exist.

Just maybe.

Cross and Dream would be unstoppable. In a bad way. Those two are both overworking machines and Blue is so so tired of having to wrangle them into resting.

Had a dream last night where PK had created another vessel shortly after Hollow that would function as a librarian/archive for some grand library. Sort of like an eternal, external database to always preserve the information. They would memorize all the books, expand the collection, and answer visitor questions when asked. They got anxiety when found damaged books, irritated at unorganized sections, and if spotted a book they hadn’t read yet they would point at it and ‘ask’ PK (assuming through sign) if they could “expand knowledge?”

They were the same size as Hollow is now in the comic, and would be the same size as them as adults but without the shell. Instead having Kingsmold like armor for protection. Like a little sibling, slightly younger and smaller.

While this will never be canon in Progeny Cursed, I had to give my subconscious props for coming up with the idea.

Imagine the Bizarros came back and the first thing they do is open a crafts store.

Like you walk in and see one of the (not) Ninja teaching your elderly neighbor how to properly make a bullion stitch and another (not) Ninja approaches you with the exact pair of sewing scissors you've been looking for like they knew exactly what you needed.

And then you watch them bicker with Janet like no lady we are not honoring a 3 year expired coupon for a brand we don't even stock anymore go back home before I steal your husband.

Thinking about Sci-Fi and Fantasy

Robots learning about ghosts, demons, etc., etc., and taking precautions for those just as seriously as you would any other hazard.

Robotic or automated ships, with either a few ghosts of their own, or having a slight fear of ending up like old stories, ex: the Mary Celeste.

Extra precautions put into electronics and robots to keep them from being shorted out by the presence of magic/energy manipulation.

Robots swapping stories about supernatural beings and occurrences along with their human friends.

Weird stories about space, especially given that I can see robots being used for tasks too dangerous for human personnel. The robots or AI having a stronger sense of honesty when it comes to documenting these stories, and their senses having literal logs to back them up, would make for an interesting body of evidence.

AI that control certain ships and facilities having clear protocol when it comes to a supernatural event. Perhaps they might've thought it was extraneous, and then something starts to happen...

Dimensional tears? Odd ripples in time and space? How does something like a robot, or an AI, react? Do they try to protect the humans with them? Or would they prioritize their own safety? Would it impact them physically, or would they be unharmed? Would that be contingent on whether or not they have organic parts?

Would there be cross-species friendships, so to speak, where you have AI or robots engaging with supernatural entities/creatures?

Might add more to this. Just interesting to think about.

So I know there is a twin AU for Homelander. I am specifically thinking about the one done by the blog: olliveolly

But I kind of want to take that AU and change it a little. I want to incorporate Mirrorlander. You probably see where I am going with this.

Homie, the man who faces the fans. Is the man in all the promotions, meet and greet, heavy on the public appearances. The one you see waiting at Vought Burger or getting a carton of milk at the store. The man who probably dresses in casual clothes to spend more time outside than allowed.

Lander, the man behind the actual saves. The one giving in-depth speeches behind a camera. The one doing planning, script writing, getting information, and practically running the company without having the title. He is not to be put in public unless Homie is back. He is truly the man in the sky.

I think it would be fun and a crazy idea. Since if we run with some of the events in the Universe. Lander would likely lock up Homie to keep him away from all the opinions going around that Homelander is a monster or him killing thousands would be justified. Since Homie would be the too innocent, good moral twin. While the other keeps a strong cold hand when looking at humanity.

my brother had an interesting note on the fairy-walrus conundrum, in that his thoughts upon finding a walrus at his door wouldn't be "how and why did this walrus travel halfway across the earth to my doorstep of its own volition", but instead would be "who the hell is pranking me on purpose and how tf did they get the aquarium to agree to this"

i'd hate to say anything on the side of team fairy, but it would make the walrus a slightly less surprising find

Assassin’s Creed and The Mandalorian

The Mandalo originate from the Brotherhood. Centuries after the humans discover light speed, a large portion of the Brotherhood is tasked with liberating a mining planet from Templars(? Cannot be empire yet). Then they make like Alexander the Great and have some people “marry into” the Mandalorian’s people, who are very chill about it. The Brotherhood sets up a base there and helps the planet’s inhabitants become more militarian. A millennium or so later, after Earth (or what ever the Star Wars name was) is exploded in to smithereens, The Mandalorian and The Child come across and ancient artifact (The Apple) which either brings them back through time to Altaïr and/or let’s them see the origins of Earth’s civilization and the Brotherhood (which also includes the Mandalorians) - Nov. 16, 2020, 1:22 am, recently watched the newest episode of The Mandalorian and I am in the middle of the Altaïr painting.

I came up with idea years ago, it’s not the best but when I thought of it I was so proud. So for younger men’s sake, I’d thought I’d release it to the world.
