This is my oil painting portrait of Louis de Pointe du Lac on wood panel. It was a fun process getting back into painting with oil, I want to do more, maybe something with Lestat, I have a few ideas.

Jimmy Royce makes the fatal mistake of getting down into the oil wrestling pit with Johnny Lightning. Jimmy thinks he’s hot shit with his glistening bulging muscles, but Johnny doesn’t play fair, and soon Jimmy gets trapped in one of Johnny’s infamous python grip sleeper holds. All the oil in the world can’t help Jimmy slip out of Johnny’s deadly arms and it doesn’t take long before the Lightning’s monstrous biceps choke off all the oxygen to the doomed muscle hunk’s brain. It doesn’t take long before Jimmy’s body sinks deeper into Johnny’s relentless embrace while the defeated stud’s arms grow heavy and fall limp at his sides. To add insult to injury, the victorious villain toys with Jimmy’s lifeless body before brusquely discarding his victim aside on the wrestling mat.

Nothing to see here, just andrew building his life around the promise kevin (unexpectidly)kept

Andrew waiting for Kevin to fail keeping the promise they made just like everyone does to Andrew. leaving him surrounded by broken promises sharp like shattered glass.

But kevin brings neil, neil who is nothing, literally, and who is tired of being nothing, which is something andrew understand bonedeep. Andrew gave up on wanting anything even death. The only thing he does is being nothing and wait for nothing(literally, the only thing he is waiting for is for Kevin to break his promise and give him nothing to build his life around).

Neil is a conundrum to andrew and what andrew didnt expect was that he himself was a conundrum to neil. Neil is curious about andrew, more than that, he cares, he understands, he listens, he wants to know andrew, be with andrew.

Selfish, survivalist, flighty rabbit neil went to evermore in order to be there when andrew would be back and be safe.

And what after andrew is now sober? Neil is indeed still there and still wants to be with andrew.

Like wtf, everyones been pushing andrew around, staying only under circomstances and trusting him only when it comes to exy(at the begining of the trilogy, the foxes trusted andrew in skipping his doses to play the full game). Even kevin who lives like 24/7 with him doesnt know him and doesnt know you dont get things from andrew by pushing and ordering even after being told "no".

Andrew is annoyed neil is still there and cares, noone is supposed to do that. The only time someone did care about andrew, something came with it, almost killing him.

But this time the only inconvenient that comes with neil is his obsession with exy apparently.

And in the end, kevin is safe, the queen survived and the king is dead. The chess game is over. And kevin kept his promise, he brought andrew something to build his life around.
